We usually stay at Sea Haven for Thunder beach bike week. Love their staff usually clean and helpful. The reef was extremely disappointing due to lack of care from staff. Parking was a joke. Couldn’t get pillows so didn’t have for pull out sofa bed. The person stationed outside to help direct traffic should be fired. Just stood there letting cars go whatever way they wanted to to the point the traffic jam was ludicrous. Ha someone park a motorcycle behind ours in a space that didn’t have a parking pass for your hotel and was told by a employee that it did t really matter because we could get our bikes out if we know how to move our bikes. At one point our keys didn’t work so the ga e new keys and sent us back up to the room three times before an actual employee went up to fix the issue. If you’re going to be involved with the festivities that bring a lot of people and money to your hotel you should be more concerned with your guests. Having to share parking with a restaurant and their not be designated parking for your hotel guests is also ludicrous. Our room was not clean and towels we did get had public hair on them. Never again! Extremely disappointed

The staff, especially Shanice, were wonderful. They deserve a lot of credit for providing a pleasant experience, despite how rundown the hotel is.

Unfortunately, the hotel is old and it shows. In our room, we couldn't find hot water, in the shower, as the handle spun a full 360...lukewarm was the best we could get. There were a number of outlets that did not work and some would push into the wall as you were trying to plug items in.
The floors look, and feel, like they only get swept, by house cleaning...not mopped, which they desperately need.
The bedframe was broken, but we didn't notice until my wife sat on the end of the bed and fell through!

I know this looks bad, and I guess it is. I will say the stay was enjoyable but there is only so much the staff can do to prop up an aging hotel. I think the location should account for something, but this hotel is probably worth about $100-$120/night max, during peak season.

No parking. We had to pay to park 3 blocks away and walk to the hotel. Stagnant wet smell everywhere as well as the over whelming scent of old pot and tobacco. When I walked around in the hotel room with just my sock, I had to throw them away. The mattress was sunk in the middle and flipped upside down. No patio furniture/chair. We will NEVER stay here again!

The bedding smelled clean with a hint of bleach which I love. The hotel was conveniently located and my view was spectacular which is why I visit the beach. I utilized the one deck chair as this was an “unwind” trip for myself and it was perfect for that.

Roaches! The inside of the microwave was disintegrating. Our tub didn’t drain for the first day. Roaches! The ceiling above the bed look like it was going to cave in. Five people and we could only get one or two towels at a time. Roaches! What appeared to be poop on the bathroom walls. I reached out to the hotel, but haven’t heard anything back.

The view was beautiful. But the furniture is well over due for cleaning. Later that evening i noticed we did have any wash cloths, so my wife called the font desk and informed them, we were told the front desk closes at 6. And we would have to come down to the sister hotel down the road and get them our selves. So we had to walk a great deal to get there because parking is very limited, and didn't want to lose our space and end up having to park down the road. Oh and there's no phone in the rooms to call the front office.

The room had clean sheets, but the beds were broken and sunken in. The water was barely warm, so bathing and washing dishes was difficult. Bare bones kitchen. No room phone so getting ahold of the office is hard. They do not provide a bathtub stopper so if you need a bathtub you just have to run water. Parking was an absolute NIGHTMARE. I have a child in a wheelchair and having parking was important and something I made sure of before booking, but they extra parking was across the street and I could not cross the busy street with him and our belongings safely. Also the area has very little aces with sidewalks so walking wasn’t an option. Good location and nice section of the beach.

The room was dirty. Not properly cleaned. Floors were disgusting. You can’t even walk across the room to grab your shoes without your feet turning black. Balcony had bird poop everywhere. Even on the chairs. I know it’s outside but it still could have been cleaned up. Didn’t have the right amount of towels and wash cloths. Room description talks about the pull out couch but no sheets or covers or anything were left for it. Didn’t say we needed to bring our own. Pool area was dirty. Wet toilet paper, kitchen spoons and trash all over the place. Majority of the pool chairs had bird all over them as well as the pool deck. The cleanliness overall was a 0 out of 10. Only good thing about the room was the view of the ocean.

Staff was rude, not enough towels and No wash rags. Ended up buying stuff to mop with and air freshener because the room smelled like pee. But most of all the smoke detector started going off in our room at midnight. Security came and unplugged it from the wall and placed it on the table. Once he left it started going off non stop. He took to long to come back to the room so I took it to them. Asked if we couldn’t get the FD to make sure it’s not carbon monoxide because I had 6 people that will be sleeping and we wanted to wake up in the morning. They refused. So I called them myself.

It’s right on the beach so the view was great. We had a balcony as well and they had 2 chairs out there. It would have been nice to have had a light out there but it worked out for us. All the staff I interacted with were very friendly. It wasn’t the cleanest but it wasn’t the worst I have ever seen. Our deadbolt wouldn’t lock and there was also a big gap at the bottom of the door. It definitely made us nervous. But we rigged it up and we were ok with it. The curtain for the window kept popping off and was super annoying. It has a pool but we didn’t get in. It seemed pretty well kept tho. The one thing I couldn’t stand is the parking lot is shared with Sharkys. Sharkys got busy around 2 until 12. So if you drove somewhere it was pretty impossible to find a parking spot. They do have extra park a block away but it was just inconvenient for us. Then senor’ frogs is on the other side of the hotel. And it was loud until around midnight/1. But you really couldn’t hear it inside the room but on the balcony you could.

Overall, I would still recommend and stay here again. It was a great view.

The room wasn't cleaned before we checked in, we found a pair of used swimming shorts under one of the beds. Some sand on the floor as well. My son walked around for 10mins barefoot, and the bottom of his foot was turning black. Definitely could use a good mopping. The TV wasn't working correctly, no channels. The front door wasn't sealed at all. Had a breeze from the outside, could hear every conversation and traffic sounds from inside. The front lobby was closed during check-in and check-out times. Had to walk to the other hotel (Seahaven) just to use the lobby. Beds weren't too bad, very noisy though.
Beach view and proximity to the beach we're the only good things about this hotel.

This was the absolute worst hotel I have ever stayed in. The staff was not helpful at all. We only got one towel each for the 3 days we were there. When we asked for more they said they didn’t have any then suggested we go to the hotel next door and see if they would let us borrow one! The hot water was almost non existent went to check out and the door was locked. They had a metal box with a slot that said keys so I just put them in that. Stay as far away from this hotel as you can!!!! The only good thing I can say is the view was gorgeous because it was right in the beach!! Never again will I ever stay there!!!

The room was clean, however when we arrived we stayed around 20 minutes outside waiting for the door to be opened because the key magnet in the door was not working.

The biggest PRO of this hotel is the convenience to the beach. Back door leads practically to the sand. There is a shower a few feet away. The rest is 2.5 out of 5.

Right on the beach so In regard to proximity, it's excellent but.... There was mold on our light fixtures and the place could use some serious updating.. Very close to Sharky's which was great and the staff was friendly. Parking is terrible so if you find a parking spot try not tomove your car until your stay is over. Overall, the stay wasn't bad..

It was okay for the price, and it was nice to be right on the beach. The staff was not the nicest, and the main office was closed most of our stay, so it was a struggle to get more towels, trash bags, and toilet paper. Cleanliness was okay, but the pull-out bed was pretty gross. Very thin walls, could hear conversations of the people next door to us. The sink area was nice. No kitchen.

We got to the property at 8pm. Apparently the lobby is only open from 9-5. We had to goto the property next door to get the room key. The lady at the check in counter didnt write a room number on the card so we had to walk back and find out what room we were in. Once we found our room on the 3rd floor we were greeted by a giant cockroach. Inside the room there was no hairdryer. There was also rust on all the metal parts of the room (railings, pipes, door frames). Next to the pullout sofa there was a hole in the vinyl tile. The hotel is very dated and poorly kept. The pool is ice cold. The hotel maids and maintenence workers do not speak english. You get what you pay for. Spot on the beach, yes. Dont expect anything other than that.

Our room smelled like pot and cigarette smoke. My kids tried to sleep on the balcony because the smell was so bad. We went next-door to get our free kids meal for dinner, but they said we needed a card from the hotel office went to the office. It was closed. Left a message for the manager. Still haven’t received a phone call.

Clear view of beach limited amenities we had 4 guest 3 towels and were told to bring dirty towels down to front desk which is in another building 🤔 we went out on the balcony, the door locked me outside and kids out front with the room keys inside😒somehow on first night it was after 9 and all i could get was reservations number they were hella rude no help to be being stuck out on the balcony had to call 911 which gave me beach police they came quickly one had a knife which we had to use to get inside no damage to the door but very unsettling due to not being able to get in contact with front desk after 9 pm no emergency number nothing

This was one of the worst places I have stayed in a while. First the room had no hot water whatsoever, we brought this to the attention of staff and nothing was done. Then a water main broke on the 4th floor drenching the entire hotel top to bottom, setting the fire alarm off and causing everyone to leave the hotel. After which the elevator did not work for 4 days causing us to carry all of our belongings down flights of stairs. We checked out early and went someplace else it was so bad. We will never stay here again.

I don't think the tile has been properly cleaned after they remodeled. There wasn't a bath mat so I had to use the other two towels as such and the towels turned black after I stepped on them from shower.

The fridge was leaking which stained the floor

But over all good night sleep beach time was great

The first thing I had to do when I walked in the room is get poop off the wall when we went to lay down on the first night there was sand in the bed tell me how if the sheets were changed?? We needed towels went down and there were no towels we had no hot water the smell of sewer made us all sick we could only do 2 nights there so the 3rd night we didn’t even stay it smelled soooo bad the workers can’t understand what your saying I went to lock the top lock and it literally just fell off they got maintenance to come in put A new lock and they were supposed to fix the hot water which was never fixed! I’m so very disappointed these pictures they have posted are nothing like the property if you walk on the floor with no shoes your feet are immediately black! The location was the best thing about this hotel. Price was not bad either but….. the beds are trash!!! As in, you lay down and there’s no support. The mattress will literally buckle with your body weight. Also room was older and needed better cleaning. The blinds has mildew on them and the ac had mildew also. Also no one works before 7am or after 11pm and no one works on Sunday at all, so if you need clean towels you have to go to the sister hotel down the road to do so. Speaking of towels, you have to take your old towels down to exchange them for new ones in the office. The housekeepers are not very nice either.

I’ll start with the good. Staff was courteous at checkin. Hands down the A/C was the best of any place we have ever stayed. Now the bad: 1) the bed was terrible. We had to go to a nearby store and purchase a $150 mattress topper just to continue our stay. When we went to put the mattress topper on we found mold all over the mattress. The room had been freshly painted but not professionally with many parts not even painted. Then there was the ceiling which was literally falling off into the floor, dirty and moldy. They operate 2 motels out of one office so if you need anything you have to walk to the other motel to get it. We asked for our room to be cleaned one day and when we got back the bed had been made with exact same sheets and pillowcases. When they “cleaned” they did not sweep or mop the floor and left sand everywhere nor did they leave any new towels or washcloths even though they took the dirty ones. Once again another hike to the other motel to get towels. The swimming pool was nasty and had algae everywhere. We had never been to PCB so we didn’t know about this place when we booked but they should not be able to call themselves a hotel or even a “resort”. It would be best to tear it down and start from scratch. The worst part, and the reason I will never stay here again is the parking. They share a parking lot with sharks restaurant and their customer take ALL the parking spaces.

Love the easy excess of beach...but just wish they would paint and do proper repairs...such as no hot water in kitchen sink... low water pressure in shower..no cover on hood light on stove...no silverware for kitchen... dangerous uneven pavement on sidewalk on back of hotel..I tripped and almost fell...on shower coming off beach was out of order .. and the step off walkway sand needs to be shoveled up..hard to step up and down... without falling... Office not open to request towels or other supplies..have to get in vehicle and go to other office at another hotel...no parking at hotel if you leave hotel and come back during busy hours at Sharkey's...not convenient for family with children or the elderly...to have to park across road and travel to hotel and cross against traffic... Very dangerous at night...

Terrible parking.

We went and bought our on bedding cause there’s had stain on them. There was No service at this location had to drive to different place for service. Then parking was absolutely terrible had to drive nearly a hour in a circle waiting on a spot. Awful!!!!
