We rang ahead for information after the recent storm, flooding and road closures before travelling. The staff member we spoke to (Bailey?) was extremely friendly and very helpful.

We had air conditioning and comfortable long chairs in the lounge, perfect for relaxing after a busy day outdoors. There was a TV in both the lounge and one of the bedrooms, which was a nice bonus. The property also featured two bathrooms/showers, carpet upstairs, a washing machine/dryer and an outdoor verandah with a beach view beyond the first row of houses. There was a small driveway for our vehicle and we were pleasantly surprised by how quiet the area was. The resort is just one street away from town and the beach, making it easy to get around.

The place was very roomy. It had large living area with clean well apointed kitchen. It was across the street from the ocean. We could park at our door. There was a nice pool. The reception was very helpful and offered us choices of things to to and resturants to visit. We are glad we stayed there. I personally liked the harder beds as too many places have sagging matresses.

We booked a one bedroom suite and when we checked in, we were given a 3 bedroom 3 level suite. You could only use one bedroom, so we chose the one on the 3rd floor. There were only bathrooms on the 1st and 3rd floors so when you came into the house, you had to go up 2 flights to use it. It was a very nice suite other than that with a beautiful view from the top floor.
There was everything you needed in the kitchen, very well equipped. We were surprised they didn't even have salt and pepper.

We stayed in a 3 bed apartment which was on 3 floors, so several steps! The weather was really hot, and an air con system on the upper sleeping area would have been useful, as the one on the middle floor didn’t cool upstairs. But a great stay, a nice outdoor pool, lovely check in staff. Apartment was really clean and modern, and the resort is a flat walking distance to the shops and restaurants. Also, it’s right next door to the Lost Springs hot pools. We would stay here again if we’re in Whitianga.

I really enjoyed my stay at this resort even though it was just for one night. I stayed in apartment seven which has partial see views and was absolutely lovely. Everything is laid out perfectly for a comfortable long or short term stay and there is even a washing machine and dryer. The lounge has reclining sofas and a large screen TV. If you like watching Netflix the TV is not a smart TV so you need to bring your chrome cast with you. It does however have-sky if you’re into that. Kitchen comes fully equipped with oven microwave and a dishwasher so you can cook or walk for about five minutes to the main street where there are plenty of eateries.

Great location. Quick registration and book in. Very disappointed to find that whilst I actually DID specify two Queen beds were required at the time of booking and I have proof of that on my booking documents ( as the accommodation was for my brother and I ) - on opening up the apartment I found one queen and two ( small!) single beds. So my three night stay costing $950 had me ‘sleeping’ in a small child’s bed. I did not sleep. Very very uncomfortable.
