I really enjoyed the couple nights I stayed. The room was clean and comfortable, and a good breakfast in the morning. I loved the little extras like the shovel if you want to go to hot water beach, or even if you need a beach towel. The owners were attentive if you needed anything.

Our stay at Parkland Place was great from beginning to end. Maria greeted us cordially when we arrived and provided a brief orientation. We had a comfortable bedroom, bed, pillows and well appointed private bath. The breakfasts were top notch. Fresh fruits, juices, multiple choices on bread for toast, eggs, cold meats and cheese, cereals, coffee or tea to your preference.

This is an excellent B&B. Maria and Guy welcoming warm and attentive hosts. Gorgeous property. Spotlessly clean. Breakfast is above and beyond. It is a 3 to 4 km walk to the main restaurant area but it is along the beach front pathway and easy to do., We would definitely return.

What can i say this place is an absolute retreat. Loved every minute at the bnb. From the minute we walked in the door to the second we left my partner and i were treated so well. We had a great stay here. Traveling as a couple, stayed 1 night. This is a beautiful B&B near Whitianga. Perfect location to get to Hot Water Beach (about 40 min drive from hotel) and Cathedral Cove (about 30 min drive away from hotel). Breakfast is included and Maria cooks eggs to order. Also a nice spread of meats, cheeses, breads, ham, butter, Nutella, Vegemite, Coffee, kiwi juice and orange juice. Room is spacious, clean, and comfortable. Check in was smooth and parking was easy. Would recommend this hotel!

Our room was bright, airy and very clean. The king-size bed was perfect. A little kitchen area with a fridge was available for making tea and coffee. Lovely couple who took great care of us. Yummy breakfasts and coffee! They spent time telling us about the good places to see. Gave us towels for the beach. Lovely 2-bed room above garage with A/C, fridge, sink, and big tv. Amazing shower. My daughters bed was comfortable but mine was so-so. However, I would still highly recommend this place!

I really liked this B&B and the care that Maria provides. I am an active solo traveller, so having a place that had a late checkin, with a good breakfast, and activities, was very important to me. The free kayaks off the back of the B&B was what sold me the place. And it was fun! Kayaking right off the back, into the creek and into the bay, was a real treat on checkout day. Thank you!!
Every day, I rose for breakfast, and talked to Maria and other people that were staying in the B&B. It was like having friends on my trip, and each day we talked about what we did. I really felt cared for. Maria's very professional and your room is secluded from others' rooms so you really don't feel like anyone is intruding in others' spaces. The room was very clean and quiet, a nice place to relax. The bathroom had everything that I needed. Maria went out of her way to make sure that I was cared for, even down to giving me water bottles daily, even on checkout day, for my activities and hikes.
