When you walked inside of the room, it had a horrible smell to it. It didn’t smell like smoke. It just smelled stinky. The floors have stains on them like they hadn’t been mopped. The beds were made nice the hotel does make it seem like suspicious on the outside. The insides aren’t too bad. I love that. It has the key access to get in the building, it makes it more secure when you’re traveling with kids. It’s just really dirty. Their staff needs to do better cleaning, the doors are dirty. Everything is just like built-up grime. But it’s not bad price for the stay.

We really enjoyed our stay. It was a last minute decision and felt nice getting to go into a clean room after hours on the road. They are pet friendly - not just dogs which is a bonus. Well worth the price. Easy walk to Waffle House, Golden Corral, or Dunkin Donuts.

While the outside looks dated, our room was updated and clean. There was a bit of an odd odor in the hallway but not in the room. The only areas I rank poorly are access to the property and amenities. There is a single entrance to the parking lot near a stop light that gets backed up and entry/exit can get backed up. In terms of amenities the \"Fitness Center\" is a single elliptical and a pair of 10 pound dumbbells and the breakfast is prepackaged donuts/muffins, a few bananas and oranges, and bottled apple (and apple based) juices.

Greeted by friendly staff. Cleanest room we have stayed in. Laundry room available for travelers. Grab & Go type breakfast. Juice, donuts, etc all prepackaged. Coffee only in room. Felt extremely safe. Quiet. All wood floor in room. Three nice fluffy pillows per bed. Hair dryer, iron, ironing board, microwave, fridge, & coffee maker.

The rooms are very minimalist and it's not your five star hotel with all the bells and whistles, but it makes up for it in the exemplary cleanliness and the amazing staff! It is super clean and super comfortable. Pulling up I was worried looking at the outside of the inn.... It has definitely seen some years! But upon entering my room I was pleasantly surprised. The staff are very courteous and extremely helpful and always had smiles on their faces and treated me with extreme kindness. Every staff member there was above and beyond! The beds were comfortable, the room was spotless, and everything worked and nothing was broken. Definitely a five-star stay!

I could tell the room has been updated recently. However, the A/C unit was very LOUD. I don't think it had been updated. It was LOUD and annoying.
Also, the TV in the room did not work. I got it to turn on but could not get another screen to show.
Overall, fair place to stay. It just needs more updating.

This was an awful experience. A number had worn off my credit card and the front desk had there card reader not working and i was told I couldn't stay there because they couldn't read the numbers and was also told even if there card reader was working they wouldn't let me stay there because they couldn't verify the numbers matched. This is a complete joke. The name matches my drivers license and it is not my fault they have faulty equipment. Soooo now i get no refund and just out the money for awful service

Continental breakfast as a joke! Not even premade coffee. Just the k-cups already in your room. Thank goodness a Waffle House is next door. But for what a paid for a room and breakfast advertised, you think you get something better than sugar donuts.
AC worked awesome! Probably the best hotel AC I've experienced in awhile.
Comfortable bed.
Toilet was difficult to flush.

The price is right so expecting a four or five star establishment would be ridiculous. The room I stayed in was in what was called building 3. I was upstairs and the room had a sliding glass door and balcony. The mistake I made was opening the door. There was so much smoke smell onside the room, I assume from the room next to mine, it made the room I was in stick the whole first night. The room was clean and had been remodeled. The room was more than adequate for my stay. I stay alone with no family. If I had a family, I would opt to spend a little more money and stay somewhere nicer. That being said, if you are a tightwad like me or working in the area, this place offers a toilet, a tub, a good sleeping bed, a microwave and a fridge. I read som other reviews before I stayed and saw where the air did not work for the reviewer. I stayed two nights and will not stay here again because the no smoking room with smoking balconies ruined it for me. No, I did not complain and yes, this is my honest review. If you are saving per diem while on a job use this place. If you are short on funds use this place. If you are looking to treat you wife and kids to a week or weekend of relaxation and fun, pay more and stay a little nicer. Oh, the place did offer hbo too. And never went for the breakfast cause Dunkin is beside the place.

When i pulled into the parking lot, i was immediately feeaked out due to the appearance outside, and when i went to check in there was one of those glass windows like in a cheap or unsavory motels. I seriously thought what did i do, i was scared. Inside the \"lobby\" is just as rundown as the outside. Its really not nice at all. The staff member was nice, and friendly. She provided me with my room key which was at the far end of the hotel and i was going to need to walk up steep stars to get up stairs. I drive back there and the stairs have a bunch of guys sitting/standing drinking and enjoying the night. I am a woman traveling alone, i didnt want to just make thst known and if i were to solider up those stairs which is a little wider than an adult person, they all would have to go inside, stand waiting for me to make multiple trips. I just drove back to the office and told the staff member i was not comfortable making my traveling alone known and didnt feel good about the situation. She understood and got me a lower level room. My room was very nice, clean and comfortable. My only complaint about the room is the door that leads outside had gaps so bugs kept coming in, and i was on bug patrol for my stay.

The best I can say is that the room was clean and quiet. I did not like getting hit with a $100 deposit that I knew nothing about. (I have never paid a deposit on a motel room and don't want to start a tradition)The \"breakfast\" sucked. It was essentially non-existent.

The toilet did not shut off--I had to close the valve at the wall to stop it. (This is amazing since I had to pay a $100 deposit to access the room.) The faucet for the sink was ridiculous. The shower was better but not what I would like. I imagine that they are trying to reduce water use but this was too far.
Finally, (a small thing) didn't care for the wood floor instead of carpet, although this is very trendy.

Location is convenient. Low water pressure in the bathroom sink, never got warm. Breakfast is grab and go. Not too nutritious. The building needs a complete remodel. The landing and ateps ti the aecond floor are very rust. There is nocement ramp leading up to the back, first floor door. No safe, convenient parking for the back rooms. Fair for a one night stay. They do allow dogs in some of the rooms, a plus.

Oddly enough the hotel had no power. Or somehow half of it did? I was too tired to put up much complaint about it or to find another hotel. The lights and TV worked in my room but the light in the bathroom and the air conditioner did not. So we had to poop and shower in the dark, and while the temperature was tolerable the lack of ambient noise from thr AC meant my friend didn’t sleep at all. This may have been an odd one-time catastrophe that happened, but I didn’t like that there was no effort by staff to acknowledge or apologize for the extreme inconvenience or fix the issue at all.

I’ve stayed here before many years ago but I don’t remember it being this way. Roof tiles are falling off the main building. And there was a rather loud person yelling crude commentary from her room at 6am for all to hear.

When attempting to check in there were homeless people wandering around in the parking lot. Then the lady at the counter said I had to pay a $200-$300 deposit. Finally she said my credit card was declined even thought I had used it to buy fuel less than an hour earlier and rented a vehicle with the same card 5 hours earlier.

I informed her the card had been working and she curtly said without a form of payment she wouldn’t do anything to get me a room. I went back out to the car, found a near by hotel, reserved a room (with the same credit card) and checked in there instead. No security deposit, No homeless, no snarky staff and they processed my credit card payment correctly.

Avoid the Days Inn, go to Stone Hill Hotel instead.
