Room seemed clean to a point. But maintenance was needed, ie, toilet paper holder coming out of wall, faucet spun around so couldn't get cold water, door to bathroom stuck and seemed really cheap, either the toilet leaked or the shower allowed water to come out leaving water behind the toilet, and carpeting left bottom of my feet dirty.

Breakfast was pitiful. Only 3 items - cereal, 2 bananas, prepackaged pastries by Hostess & gallon of milk in the refrigerator. They advertise a nice breakfast. I even called the night before we were to arrive & asked about breakfast. I spoke to a nice Hispanic man who said “very nice breakfast”. Only received housekeeping 1 day. I had to keep going to front desk to ask for things. I feel like I deserve a partial refund. Who do I contact for that?

Didnt try breakfast, we always go to pickles for breakfast. Stayed here because we wanted to stay close to the OU stadium for the football game. Wasnt absolutely terrible but not exactly nice either, beds where comfortable and it was enough for just the night before heading back home. I dont like the fact that there was a door for the room next inside the room, you can hear the tv and people in the room next to you. All in all it served its purpose to have 4 walls and a bed and close to the OU stadium, otherwise yoid be fight very heavy traffic from oklahoma city on game day

Stayed two nights for a football game-NEVER again.

Room was NOT what is pictured here. The entire room smelled of stale cigarettes. ALL THE TIME. I'm assuming this is because we told them we had two small dogs. Therefore, they put us on a smoking room. At the time of this writing, the charge for pets was $60 per pet. Sink faucet didn't work properly. Very hard to turn on and off. Handle was loose and hard to control. TOILET SEAT WOULDN'T STAY ON TOILET. came off several times during use. Killed two different types of bugs while we were there, forcing us to put all food on tables or in chairs. The carpet was poor and dirty. Raveled in many places. Needed to be replaced. WIFI IS UNBELIEVABLY SLOW. My phone's network was faster. No tissues in the room. Had to use toilet paper to blow your nose. TV had three, large white spots directly in the middle of the screen. This is known as \"flashlighting,\" meaning it needed to be replaced because the LED strips inside have failed. Due to the pets and the football game this room cost almost $500 for TWO nights for TWO PEOPLE and TWO SMALL DOGS. For that kind of money, I would've expected AT LEAST the basics to be working and/or of a good quality. No Do Not Disturb sign was provided for our room, but others had them. At the time of this writing, I'm still waiting on the return of another charge--a standard $60 deposit--which had better be returned soon, or I will call. UNLESS YOU'RE IN AN EMERGENCY SITUATION, DO NOT STAY.

Not all outlets were in working order. One cup I unwrapped had debris in the packaging. At check the desk clerk walked out for an undetermined reason taking more than 10 minute for final processing. He also did not connect me with the occupant of my assigned room and quoted an incorrect credit card number. I did not receive a final receipt for my stay.

There are better options

The front desk person was friendly and accommodating and went above and beyond to find a solution to our concerns. That said, this place has seen better days. It sure doesn't look like the photos online and the folks hanging around seemed like they had also seen better days. We are generally not fussy about the motel vibe, but this location was not somewhere we could see ourselves staying for the five nights we booked and we ended up cancelling our stay. Sorry for the bad review, Travelodge Norman, but it's probably time for a little refresh.

We were put off by the conditions of the motel before we ever stepped foot in our room. Our accommodations requested were not met (a non-smoking room); we were told if the smells were too strong, they would provide air freshening spray for the curtains and bed linens. When we opened the door to our room, the odor was unbearable. We only stayed in the room for five minutes, and that was to open our phone and make reservations in another hotel. Both my husband and I walked away with a headache for the rest of the day due to the odor. Our clothes and bags smelled from the five minutes we stayed in the room with the door open. Also, the toilet was running the entire five minutes we were in the room; the bath tub had what appeared to be cigarette burn marks all along the edge. When I checked out of the room, albeit ten minutes after checking in to the room, the staff at the front desk offered us a non-smoking double, which again was not our requested accommodation. It was deplorable. I am requesting a refund immediately from Hotels.com. Please remove this location from your site. I have stayed in hotels across the country and internationally, and I cannot imagine anyone wishing to stay at this location.

If a 0 star was available I would select that. It was unsafe. The upstairs room the clerk gave us was a hollow door and behind an open glass door that was a dead end hall. Truly a bait room. When asking for a different room had a terrible smell and complete stagnant mold filled air! The health department should shut them down.

Was looking forward to the pool for the kids - closed... okay that happens. Breakfast, in the lobby was a single banana-- two bran type cereals -- and 4 packaged honey buns. Rooms were fine. Leaking showers, broken knobs, dirty towels, ripped sheets, cigarette holes in the bedding, non-smoking room that reeked of cigarettes and exhaust, air conditioning broken...the list goes on. I felt very deceived by the pictures of this place and the management argued about a refund for the remaining nights. We stayed one night: we were happy to pay for one night, but there was NO WAY we were continuing our stay...especially for the cost we payed for gameday weekend! Our 2nd hotel charged $40 more a night and was immaculate! Never again!

Hotels.com Should have Warned About Deposit

We've stayed at this location many times over the years and never had an issue. I got a great deal on Hotels.com which included prepaying for the room. Upon check in, we were hit with an unexpected $60 deposit that had to be paid in full. Then at check out, the desk clerk had to come inspect our room before issuing a refund of the deposit. This property accepts pets, so the deposit was reasonable, our problem was that we weren't expecting it but had prepaid so we had no choice but to accept it. I blame Hotels.com for this. The deposit should have been mentioned on the website. We will not return to this location as the surly staff left a bad taste. Pity, the room was clean and comfortable.

Our room smelled terrible and had black mold behind the toilet. We bought some air fresheners for the room but it didnt help. Woke up next morning and noticed light shining through the bottom of the door - guessing water comes in through that when it rains so we suspect the bad smell of the room was from mold and/or mildew. Requested a different room and got one within a couple hours because they had to clean it) and it was much better. The front desk guy (Sam?) was very helpful but they are clearly understaffed.

Overall a good spot to stay.

The room had some minor issues, sink faucet worked but is broken. Shower curtain rod is broken but still did it’s job. Continuous gnat problem. The mattress cover was dirty but the sheets and such were clean. Blanket had old cigarette burns.

Difficult check in, a surprise deposit. Put us on second floor with no elevator, we are both in our late 70’s. Asked for ground floor but claimed they were all booked, although only about 10 cars in parking lot.
Air conditioner not working properly and noisy. Shower not working with low water pressure. Refrigerator not working properly. When called front desk got no answer.
Decided to stay just one night due to uncomfortable conditions but had already charged my card and would not refund. Said I would have to call Expedia

We were charged a $60 deposit and was told it was refundable. The guy at the front desk didn't want me reading the paper he handed me, so I wrote on it refundable deposit. He did not like that. There was no damage to the room and they still haven't refunded it. It was 104° that day and my air conditioner went out, that's why we booked there. The room's air conditioner wasn't on and the room was excessively hot, it took hours to cool it down. The hotel is in a convenient location but I wouldn't stay there again. Not with the attitude of the front desk and how we were treated.

We were not given any information upon check-in, just one key card. Had to request coffee, cups, toilet paper every day. \"Continental breakfast\" consisted of several overripe bananas, a few Honeybuns, and dispensers with raisin bran and frosted flakes. This included the weekend and from 6am to 9:30am. The bathroom door had obviously been kicked in, and the repairs were amateurish. I would guess the managers are skimping and/or skimming.

First, when I arrived I booked a non smoking room with double beds and I was given a smoking room that smelled like an ash tray. I was then put in a king sized non smoking that still smelled slightly of smoke and mold. The bathtub was old and dirty looking and the shower bar was coming out of the wall. I didn’t even stay. I cut my losses and left to stay somewhere else. The front desk staff also let me know about someone else’s booking because we had the same last name.

Went and told the front desk and got an apology, that’s it!
We felt dirty being in there! We were not offered clean sheets or anything! So disgusting! In the morning we spoke to the manager and he said he would mention to the housekeeper…how about a refund!!! This place is absolutely disgusting and would not recommend to anyone…. EVER!!!
To think that Wyndham keeps this place associated with their chain/name. Crazy!

The deposit I was required to make for the room for the night was stolen from me by the property. When I contacted the hotel on Jan. 5 I was made to call back 3 separate times before the property manager informed me I could only get my deposit back by driving all the way back to the property in person and was rude and unwilling to have any discussion about it. I've disputed the charge through my credit card company but want people to be aware of this awful lack of customer service and frankly of robbery of a customer. Will never be back at a facility owned by this company and for sure not this one.

The property itself is old and looks like is getting upgraded but our door had a huge gap and the cold was drifting in. Good thing it was not windy or we would being having huge waves of cold coming through. The dumpsters where overflowing and we were not able to put trash inside so had to leave it on the sides. The good thing is that is close to the highway, restaurants and stores so is on a convenient location. Staff was great!

Convenient off interstate stay. Condition of property is a little run down. My room was clean and comfortable. A little road noise but not bad

The walls were very thin, so we heard every tv show and alarm in the rooms beside us. The A/C would cycle off an on every 5 minutes or so waking you up. The shower leaked at the handle. The hair dryer did not work. There were only 2 packs of items for coffee, so they were used up on day one. House keeping no longer cleans rooms daily, yet the rates did not go down for this being taken away. But, the staff was nice and the towels were very soft.
