The room was large but strange, it had a glass wall between the bedroom and the bathroom.
Allowing a poo with a view, but only to the bed and vice versa
Also the windows had sliding shutters on the inside which didn't stop light coming into the room. I woke up every morning before 0700 due to the light.
The water pressure was lacking in the showers.
Otherwise a good stay when you consider the location.

The location is the only redeeming feature of this hotel.
The room was dirty and had a faint but persistent cigarette odor. The bathroom smelled absolutely awful, so much so that it woke me up multiple times at night. When I tried to shower, the water pressure fluctuated from barely there to completely gone within 3 minutes, thankfully I hadn’t used shampoo yet, or I wouldn’t have been able to rinse it. The building itself is grimy, with mold on the staircase and an elevator that doesn’t even reach the hotel floor. Overall, do yourself a favor and spend an extra $20 and stay somewhere much better.

The staff are amazing as is the location. Good value for what you pay so need to lower expectations for what is a chain.

Shower stunk severely so had to close doors, half lights would not activate as they have not been maintained and housekeeping person did not remediate, the AC is centralised so one person wants heat the WHOLE floor complies so I had my little portable fan going with AC off pretty much all nights and only one lift goes to the hotel floor. Room is noisy but the location well makes up for it - bring earplugs 😀

Highly overpriced. The room was dirty and poorly maintained. One closet had a water heater with a bucket catching the dripping water. Bathroom was dirty. Room was dusty. Television did not work. Linens appeared stained and dirty. I was so disappointed I left after 2 hours and moved to another hotel. Pictures are not representative of the rooms either. Do not stay here there are many cheaper hotels that are clean with better amenities and services. The worst place I have ever stayed in Belgrade.

This hotel has an optimum location right on Republic Square, just steps from the National Theater, National Museum, Knez Mihailova and Skardaljia pedestrian areas that offer fantastic dining and shopping experiences. The square itself is a hub for public transportation, which is now free throughout the city.
The front desk staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The room was clean and functional, perfect for a couple. The full length closet accommodates long dresses and coats, and the built-in safe was helpful. The hotel occupies part of the 6th floor, and is accessible by elevator and stairs. We liked the couch as a place to sit and relax. The overall aesthetic was enjoyable, and despite being right on a major hub of activity, the room was quiet and comfortable.
A few items that could be improved are:
The elevator is not accessible from street level. About a dozen steps must be climbed to reach it. Not ideal for someone with difficulty with stairs, not to mention a wheelchair. Facial tissues were not provided. The water pressure and temperature were inconsistent at times. Should be more light in the hallway to avoid fumbing with the room key. Fair warning, the interior of the building is not in great condition and is undergoing some repairs and renovations. The entrance could be a bit unnerving to some, but the elevator is fine, and the hotel proper is pleasant.

Good location but far from the main train station. Room was very small and we only had small carry-on size luggage with us. Very small and cramped bathroom too. Lift access was also confusing. Also difficult to find the hotel as there is no signage outside the building or in the foyer explaining how to get to reception.

The pictures looked nothing like the actual hotel. The was on the 6th floor of a building. The 1st 2 or 3 floors were bring refurbished and in a big mess with all the building work going on. The staff were friendly but i woulnt recommend this hotel. Prob the worst hotel ive booked with hotels.com

Our room was clean and staff very helpful. The location was excellent, we were able to walk everywhere. We did not like the dirty stairs to get to the apartment and the run down building. The lift was only available up to the fifth floor and had to walk one more floor to get to our apartment with our suitcases.

Perfect location for a short visit

I booked a single room for my overnight visit to Belgrade, on a 18 hour layover. (Well originally 18, but after delays & airport chaos on my way to Belgrade it was more like 11 hours) The location is perfect if you want to see Belgrade on a short trip and be right where the action is, so you can maximize your visit. Unfortunately I didn't get to see much after all, but it was still a good spot as there were restaurants open late, and it was a nice spot to wander around at night.
The room is small but had everything I needed; space to put a suitcase, a mini fridge, a comfy double bed, and a nice bathroom. The only negative about my room was the door handle, which was somewhat loose and wonky, and it took me several tries to get into my door.
The receptionist was very nice and tried to be helpful, but seemed somewhat overwhelmed. Also her English, while FAR better than my Serbian, was not fantastic, so we had a few misunderstandings figuring out my check-in details and payment of the city tax.
I would definitely stay here again for a similar brief visit, or if I want to be right in the heart of the city, and I would recommend it to others.

Sorry, wouldn’t come back

On the picture to this review i see a yellow wall, serving as a headboard to the bed. Be careful of that wall. I don’t think it was vacuumed ever. To the management - it’s either has to be a simpler, less difficult design to take care off or has to be much more cleaning done in the rooms. I only stayed in one room for two nights and despite interesting, catching eye interior it’s not pleasant to stay in this hotel, because it’s not being cleaned properly. Dust, floor of the shower wasn’t even flushed with water, from a previous guest, faucet handle knobs not cleaned from soap, from the previous used. There’s a big yellow chair, not only not vacuumed, i got in the room and it was a receipt and black hair on the chair. I understand, not everyone would notice the hair, but they didn’t even clean a receipt of the chair, before the next guest. Bed sheets were clean and maybe the only clean thing in the room, but mine were with spots, that seems just stayed after washing.
The building is very old, beautiful architecture, high ceilings, large windows, nice view. Probably would get really hot in the room in the summer, hopefully air conditioner works, because my shower knob was missing, the rain shower head wasn’t working properly.
At the same time, very nice, helpful, caring staff. i didn’t bring up any of my concerns about the NOT cleanliness to the staff, because they allowed me to check in earlier an assigned time and i went in and to sleep right the way. Didn’tcomplainafte

The good part is the location, right in the square, and the design of the deluxe room was like in the pictures. Very spacious room.

DON'T FIRE JUST WARN RECEPTIONIST

I never made it to the room and turned around and went to another hotel mainly because receptionist left his work and went to eat...after a long wait I was unhappy and decided to go to another place but on a way out when I met receptionist I became furious because he didn't care and was the most careless receptionist I ever met on 3 continents for the last 30 yrs. Just a simple 'sorry\" would have made a huge difference.
This attitude usually happens when you book at places with Non-Refundablr policy. I will never pay in advance again.
I looked for a manager and met a gentleman who seemed to be one of the owners who apologized and verified with receptionist that he left his work to eat but didn't use delivery services. He offered me coffee and genuinlly apologized.
I accepted it and thanked him for 2 coffees which cost me $103 anyway.
I believe this happens once in a million and am not trying to give bad review to the whole place..it is in epicenter of Belgrade and good for younger people who don't mind carrying luggage from nearby public garage and are not used to valet parking. Assuming you find receptionist at work.
He will not be fired so I took liberty to write about this...
And it would not make me happy to learn he got fired.

Great hotel in city centre

We had a great stay at Boutique rooms in Belgrade! The hotel is located in the central pedestrian area of the city, which is the perfect location as it is within walking distance of tourist sights, shops, restaurants and transport. The hotel itself is quite small, it occupies one floor of a 6 storey building. The rooms have a very modern decor and are clean, comfortable and spacious. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We also took the airport shuttle from the airport and back, we went for the private option which is €20 and it made things easier after a long flight. You also get vouchers for breakfast at the restaurant downstairs, which is pretty good. The only thing I found offputting was the building itself - it is a very big and old building that doesn't seem to be fully in use (there is another hotel on the 5th floor but not much else). There seem to be renovations going on so it'll probably improve, but don't let the building put you off as the hotel is great and very safe.

The hotel is in a very lively location with many restaurants and shops. It is in an older building but they have renovated their rooms and are very fun and funky. The restaurant downstairs has great food and it is located perfectly for walking around the old town area of Budapest. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly.

A Gem in the Heart of Belgrade

What a gem of a hotel in Belgrade. The location was amazing as the center is right outside the front door. The breakfast was one of the best ever included with a hotel we've stayed at. And the staff were so friendly and helpful. Great experience in Belgrade.

Don't judge a Hotel by the Hotel Entrance!

The Building seemed a bit deceiving at first but, the rooms were well designed comfortable and nice. only issue was lack of Wifi signal....an issue when you are working. other wise staff was very friendly and helpful.
I had a very early flight that check out morning and I would miss the included breakfast. the front desk staff went as far as making me a bagged breakfast to take away.
that ahs never happened at any hotel that I ever stayed at. So Thank you for that!!! its the little things!

L'état général de l'appartement est correct sans plus.
Une journée sans eau chaude, mauvais état du tuyau de douche, limite dangereux car coupant, moisissure dans la salle de bain. Le débit de la douche est très insuffisant, impossible de se rincer les cheveux.
Robinetterie de la cuisine est branlante.

Rekommenderar det absolut. Rummet litet och wcrullens hållare är förstärkt med tejp och du måste lära dig trixet att skicka upp vänstra hissen så att höger hiss kommer ner - för det är bara den som går upp till sjätte våningen.
Men du bor maximalt centralt utan buller till bra pris. Rent och trevligt och personalen är charmig och hjälpsam. Vi hade frukosten inkluderad och njöt under parasollerna på trg Republika med färskpressad juice, cappuccino och dagens frukostval.

Couldn't be more central & the hotel room itself was fine. The staff was friendly and helpful. Stayed for two nights. No cleaning which was fine, but would have liked the rubbish bin emptied.
The lift goes to the 5th floor - then walk up to the 6th floor. Would stay here again.

Konum olarak çok merkezi ancak başlı başına bir rezillik. Otele ait özel bir giriş yok. Eski bir binanın 6. katı ve tek asansör çalışıyor ve eski. Asansörde kaldık kaç kişi binilmesi gerekiyor vesaire hiç bir yerde bilgilendirici bir ibare yoktu. Otelin yerinin merkezi olmasına rağmen girişi doğru düzgün olmadığı için biraz zorlandık. Odalar çok havasız ve tuvalet banyolar inanılmaz kokuyor. Bu sorunu biliyorlar ama herhangi bir çözüm yok. Zorla oda değiştirttik. Oda da kalınacak gibi değildi kokusu. Tam bir rezillik. Saat 11den sonra resepsiyonda muhattap kimseyi bulamıyorsun.

It smells so bad! It’s so bad!
It’s an old building with relatively old (not so clean) furniture.
I don’t recommend. The reception was kind to change my room, and for an hour, it was acceptable but smell starts right after conditioner is off or you enter the bathroom (not use, just open the door). I got vomiting every time I used bathroom.

But location is perfect!

Muy bonita y limpia la habitación, sin embargo es sumamente incómoda. El personal muy amable y con ganas de ayudarte y contestar tus preguntas.
Si vas a llegar después de las 11 pm o antes de las 8 am; coordina con el hotel para hacer el ingreso, ya que entre esas horas no habrá nadie en la recepción.

El hotel está ubicado en el sexto piso del edificio y en una zona muy conveniente.
