I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Museum Hotel. The property was spotless from the moment we arrived — every detail was beautifully maintained and thoughtfully curated.

The staff provided truly outstanding service. Everyone was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, making us feel special throughout our stay.

The massages at the spa were out of this world — one of the best experiences I’ve ever had. It was the perfect way to relax and fully enjoy the magic of Cappadocia.

We will definitely be coming back. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a luxurious and unforgettable experience!

Spectacular in many ways, but not without a few disappointments.

The Museum Hotel is undeniably beautiful — the views over Cappadocia are absolutely breathtaking, especially at sunrise when the hot air balloons fill the sky. The service overall was fantastic, and I really appreciated the thoughtful gestures throughout my stay — from the complimentary bottle of wine and desserts to the chocolates left in my room. My room was also upgraded on arrival, and I even got to choose the one I wanted, which was such a lovely touch.

The Michelin-starred restaurant was mind-blowing — genuinely one of the best dining experiences I’ve had. Every course was exceptional, and the staff were wonderful. The spa was also incredible, and the hotel’s overall charm and sense of history make it truly unique.

However, there were a few things that left me disappointed. My cave room, while authentic, felt quite eerie and dusty, which made it harder to relax. The activities offered through the hotel are extremely overpriced — about triple what you’d pay elsewhere for a private tour, and the “full-day” option ended up lasting only three hours. The takeaway breakfast was also surprisingly poor — just a few pieces of bread in a box and bad coffee, which really didn’t align with the hotel’s otherwise high standards.

One experience that stood out for the wrong reasons was an encounter at reception. A female staff member assumed I wasn’t a guest when I asked where the restaurant was and rather bluntly tol

Beyond spectacular. This is an amazing property with a beautiful view, great staff, great ambience, great restaurant and a definitely great vibe. The rooms are cozy and luxurious at the same time. It was an incredible stay, and I would definitely recommend it to anybody traveling to Cappadocia. There are plenty of nice restaurants around as well and going into the main town is only a five minute cab ride.

Beautiful hotel in quiet area of ushicar but with easy access to Göreme ten minutes in taxi. Located near to some of the red tour sites. Staff provided excellent service nothing was too much trouble for them even offering Turkish tea while we waited for our pick up for a tour. Breakfast was fantastic one of the best we have had on holiday. Rooms was great large with separate shower area and jacuzzi bath, would definitely stay again.

We love the little tiny things that the hotel staffs try everything to make our vacation be the best experience to stay there.

One of the best hotels I have stayed. The staff was incredibly nice and really made you feel like you’re home. No detail was spared. Everything’s was thought of. The amenities were L’Occitane. Including shave cream and razor to a loofah and cleansing towlettes. The food was one if the best from breakfast to dinner. Delicious sustainable food.

We had a superior suite that had a lot of room but no windows and needs more lighting, a different shower structure, a body mirror, a better location for the safe, and sifter pillows. Our 3-night stay was over $4000.
For the price we paid the room must have all of the above to make it up to par.

This is a truly remarkable hotel - absolutely loved it and would come back!!! Highly recommended.

Ideal for couples, which was our case. Not so ideal for children it seems - be warned.

If I had to think of one thing it could improve: even though the staff was absolutely lovely and the service was superb (no complaints there), sometimes communicating with them was a bit confusing - they'd seem to understand our English (and act as if they did) but then they would do something different to what was requested, or nothing at all, or just act visibly confused. Maybe some English refresher courses are necessary. :)

Amazing Hotel!

The hotel is so beautiful it is located on a hill where you can see all the hot air balloons in the morning it is truly magical. The Hotel is displayed as an actual museum and you will see some displays in your room and around the hotel also the gardens are so relaxing and the pool is heated and has such a beautiful view. Absolutely loved our stay at the Museum Hotel! We booked just a standard cave room and it was adorable! We even had a little sitting area with a window looking out at the gorgeous scenery. The views from the pool area (especially at sunrise) are worth every penny! They even had a happy hour out by the pool where they served mulled wine at sunset and music faintly playing in the background. It was beyond words! We had dinner and breakfast on the property. The dinner service was phenomenal! And we especially loved the breakfast buffet because of all the options! If you stay here, do not miss the complimentary breakfast!! :) We loved the hotel dog and gardens as well!

Hotel is set in an elevated location, high above rock plain and with stunning panaramic views of the valleys and rock formations. Was amazing to sit on the terrace as the sun set. Stayed in a prime suite, lounge (badly in need of updating, old fashioned, impractical uncomfortable) bedroom (fine but finishing roough in places) bathroom large great amenities need refresh too. Staff generally friendly and polite, food at hotel ok (some nices touches at breakfast) dining room needs a refresh, several chairs we sat on being spotted with stains or just needing a good clean. Hotel grounds range from very well presented to quirky/clumsy. Had oddest massage experienece of life, tiny room, two beds, staff in attendance enter time (dressing etc). All-up an ok to good experienece. Given choice again would definately visit the hotel for drinks amd balloon watching but would stay at SacredHouse (which has mindblowing interiors and is off the scale chic, but lacks the view of the museum) easy tradeoff.

It was pricy compared to other hotels in Cappadocia, but it is worthy to staying in there and has a breath taking scenary. Their breakfast is also an extraordinart with an exotic atmosphere. If you'd like to have memorable pictures, it would be the best hotel in the Cappadocia.

This place is awesome (hey, we have never stayed in a cave before) and filled with interesting artifacts they have collected. Yes, the hotel itself is exceptional, unique, beautiful and offers amazing views (you can see that from the pictures on the web site), but what truly makes this place worth staying is the staff. They not only offered suggestions of things to see and do but they were also helpful, attentive, professional and warm-hearted. They jumped through hoops to help us arrange a last minute balloon ride after the company we booked it with could not fulfill our reservation. They did not have to do that but took the time to do so.
There is nothing negative we can say about this hotel. It is as advertised and then some.
STAY HERE!!!! It will be the experience of a lifetime for you.

P.S. The breakfast they offer is exceptional because it is traditionally Turkish and probably the best we have had.

Best place for honeymoon

Nothing much you can ask for, museum hotel has everything you die for. The view, the facilities, the restaurant and the room. Unfortunately the day when I stayed weren't a good weather, hotair balloon was cancelled. We didn't manage to see the sky of colorful balloon.

Beautiful hotel with a stunning view, defiantly a highlight of our turkey trip. wasn't happy with a few things, overall is positive, Greeting staff explain details about the hotel and area, they have beautiful peacocks.
Is very nice of the hotel to set up our table with rose petals for us but when we requested to sit outside when we first got to the hotel. Wanted more privacy much not much light far outside tho.

the room they choose for us was very nice with a private view, thank you

Using app on phone to communicate with the concierge is very convenient! brilliant idea.
Staffs are well groomed. Manager greeting hotel guests during breakfast, nice touch, Breakfast variety is good. Will definitely come back again.

The hotel was OK but don't expect a 5 star luxury hotel in terms of staff, food and overall service, We have been to many exotic places and in my opinion this hotel was overpriced for its service and overall quality. I would stay at cheaper and less advertised places which offer similar quality.
