TH 27 - great place to stay in Belgrade!

We really liked this hotel, we stayed there twice and every time we experienced really great service, very clean and comfortable rooms and delicious breakfast made from scratch every day! Both visits we happened to have the same receptionist - very beautiful lady with long black hair. I think her name is Anjelica. Sorry I may be wrong. She has been really helpful to us with Restaurant recommendations, general questions, they even printed for us travel information for free. Breakfast was the best part of staying there - clean, good tasting, and freshly made every single day from local ingredients. They are very proud that they use only local food. The location is also very good -within walking distance to a lot of good restaurants. We really enjoyed staying at this hotel and we hope you will too.

A stunning hotel with top notch staff. Our child got sick on our second day here and the staff went above and beyond to help us locate doctors, pharmacists and whatever we needed. The area is historical and culturally rich- would stay here anytime!

Now that is how to run a hotel

We had a great experience. The service was all one could ask for. We were there for valentines day and my birthday and the staff celebrated both, including a birthday cake! The large suite was always clean and tidy and the daily fruit fix was a welcome addition. The location is fabulous close to some great restaurants and the center of Belgrade. The restaurant was clean and food good. Service everywhere was fabulous. We will definitely be back.

Wonder experience at Belgrade

My wife and I had an excellent experience at the Townhouse 27 hotel. The staff at the hotel was super friendly and helpful! Helping us to arrange an airport transfer at the last minute, offering us an umbrella when it was about to rain, assistaning with directions... Just very friendly and professional overall. The room and hotel condition was also lovely. It's not a super big hotel so expect a cozy environment. The location is also central so only mins walk and you're in the middle of a nice shopping boulevard. By the way, if you haven't been to Belgrade, you should check it out, it's an hidden gem.

I stayed here for ten nights on a business trip and would be very unlikely to return. In summary, they don't deliver the value as promised. There are hotels within a couple of blocks that are much cheaper and do a better job.

First the good things. The location of the hotel is perfect and situated in within Belgrade's Dorćol neighborhood. Cafes, restaurants, pubs, bakeries, and shops are all within walking distance. The hotel overall is clean and welcoming. The front-desk staff were accommodating and helpful.

However, the hotel fails to achieve the claimed 4-star boutique hotel experience. It is the small things that set a boutique hotel apart and Townhouse 27 highlights many of those claims on their website. The rooms are basic, nothing different than what you'd experience in most any 2 or 3-star hotel in Belgrade. The furniture is drab, chipped, and a bit shabby. Definitely in need of updating.
The individual bottles of toiletries each had the seals broken as if they are simply refilling them and putting them back in the room. I wouldn't use those.

The worst part was the cafe. I had two Serbian colleagues join me for coffee at the cafe one morning. As we were a larger group we moved to a larger table in the nearly empty patio. The waiter came out and began yelling at my guests who became so embarrassed they insisted we leave. Upon informing the management of the incident they took absolutely no action and essentially accused me of lying about it.

Beautiful spacious room

The hotel is very clean and has lots of hand sanitizer and masks available. It is definitely a boutique hotel and does have not spacious common areas like gyms or courtyards. Nonetheless our room was spacious and had a balcony and sofa as well as very comfortable bed. Parking was at a garage a building over. The location is very good for walking the city, just a bit off the Main Street of Nez Mikaela (spelling). Breakfast service was pretty slow but the quality was good. It was unclear what was included within the scope of the breakfast. I felt like I was in the heart of the city. The women at the desk helped us with recommendations and calling restaurants.

Best hotel in Belgrade

Best hotel in Belgrade. Excellent location, good breakfast, beautiful and large room, superb bathroom, and friendly and professional staff. I wish to highlight the fact that this hotel is so good that even foreign delegates stayed there and most importantly, the staff helped me with tax refund even after I left the hotel and returned home. In this regard, special praise should be given to Natalija who was so professional and took the extra steps to assist me.

Lovely boutique hotel near the pedestrian mall. Spotlessly clean and spacious room. Desk staff went out of their way to be helpful and courteous. Breakfast buffet was outstanding and filled with fresh, local foods and delicacies. Great value and highly recommended.

Hi All,

I have been in Belgrade for 4 days and it`s a beautiful city. you will have no problem regarding English as everyone knows English very well (their education system did a nice job).

In terms of the townhouse hotel, it is located in the perfect location. you are pretty close to everything by walk and can cover all historical places. There are lots of restaurants and bars around so you will not get bored at night. If you are travelling with Familly I do not suggest to stay in Belgrad more than 3 days as it is pretty small city and if u r single stay there forever LOL.

Staff:

Townhouse staff literally are the best ones I have ever seen (I mean it). they are super nice and enourmously helpfull. at front desk you will find Tamara and Diana who are honestly awesome.

Tania is the hotel manager. She is very helpful, professional and proactive. To me, one of the best managers I have ever seen adn she knows her job. she is welcoming and grab any chance to help you.

Summary:

I DO defenitely recommend this hotel.

The place to stay in Belgrade

I have nothing but praise for this centrally located hotel. Our room - they kindly upgraded us to a suite as it was an important birthday trip - was spacious, immaculately clean and very comfortable. Nice touches such was a Nexpresso machine with pods which were replaced daily and free bottled water make a difference! The breakfast, which was included, was excellent, I reckon you can always get the measure of hotel breakfasts by the quality of their freshly squeezed orange juice! More importanlty perhaps than the physical comforts was the quality of the staff, they were universally welcoming, helpful and generous. Thank you Towhhouse 27

Small hotel down a rather grubby sidestreet but very close to the main shopping areas. It's a blessed oasis of calm and style in an otherwise rather run down city. Service was immaculate, as was the room. Difficult to fault.

We loved our stay there.

We loved being able to walk to Kalamegdan ,restaurants ,shopping on Knez Mihajlova, Skadarlija, and the beautiful churches. Rarely did we have a language problem because most of the people spoke English.We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Belgrade.The people were very friendly and we felt very safe walking at night.
