Nice room, one staff member was not great, the other was nice so I guess it evened out ha. Park nearby is beautiful. Train blocks the way in and out sometimes. Hot tub has been out of order for a very long time, maybe it’s forever, and they don’t mention that anywhere.

Start off the front staff was fantastic. We arrived early and they were able to get us in with a short wait.
Overall the hotel and room was okay. Superficial updates. Bathroom was run down. Newer shower head but no pressure.
Bed was quite comfortable.
I paid extra for park view but couldn’t really see out the window with all of the dirt. Sat on the couch to find clothing under the desk.
Have to request a refresh for bed making or light cleaning. Seemed like a lot of effort for over 300/night.
Close to restaurants and the park is wonderful for walking.
Overall not worth the price in my opinion. We travel and stay in tons of hotels. This is not up to the usual sandman standard.
Location is the main draw.

The room we had was small and seemed to be designed for one person. There was a huge desk with an office chair that took up all the floor space so we had the bed or one office chair for two people to sit in. The room is showing its age , pretty beat up in places and had the smallest shower we had ever seen in a hotel room. The room had a little kitchenette with a micro, sink , a few dishes and a small fridge.
The staff was helpful when we had to phone down as there was no tv remote in the room, they had a nice young man bring us one.

Hotel and staff were fine, but if you’re a light sleeper at all make sure to not stay on the city view side for the hotel as there is an extremely high amount of train traffic passing through 100 feet from the hotel. Maybe up to 10-20 times per night during my stay.

This hotel is located right beside the train tracks! If you are booked on the front side of the hotel, it is unbelievably noisy. The train goes by every 40 mins. All night long!!!!

It would have been beneficial if restaurant survived gave advice on size of portions. I would have changed my order. Rooms were average cleanliness. A deep clean needs to be done. Issues with fire alarm, lasted for a long time. The next day, electrical issues. That too lasted a long time.

The train was annoying at first once you get it in you head. It could be gunshots (im from usa) or sirens or alot of homeless outside it's not bad and EZ to tuen out. The park was great. Room was awesome.(water actually got hot!!) The breakfast....meh. rather microwave sausage patties and some frozen waffles. Not sure what was being served but im also not that fancy. .Overall really good experience. Also...took me a few days to realize there's underground parking for thw hotel..thats on me tho..

First thing they missed was my VIP Expedia perk of 2 free drinks. As stated on receipt! Never even offered. I text Expedia and they contacted hotel about this and no reply. Second. The room sucked. Couldn’t shower. So had to use the bathtub and that took 20 minutes to fill partway as water valve must be no good. As sink worked fine. Not even a sorry.

Nice hotel, getting tired and well used. If you are on the railroad side then you better be a heavy sleeper. The train runs beside the hotel 24/7. It’s well located, with lots of restaurants in the area.

The hotel itself is nice and comfortable. However, the proximity to the railroad tracks made it difficult to sleep. Heard trains and the clanging of the rail crossing throughout the night. A room facing the river is probably much quieter, I can't recommend the city view side of the hotel.

The room was clean and tidy. I wasn’t in the room very long, but found it quite comfy. I like the way the Sandman does up the beds - so comfortable! Slept like a baby when the trains weren’t happening. The bathroom grouting could use a deep cleaning or replacement.

Very tiny rooms, nice amenities like restaurants and bar but the hot tub had dirt in it and all over the stairs into hot tub was dirty and brown. There were no jets in the hot tub. Just taking a hot bath was all it was. All in all wouldn’t stay here again.

The constant trains going past, noisy guests and car alarms, did not make for a good stay.
I know the hotel cannot alleviate all outside noise, but this was ridiculous. If you can, ask for a room on the opposite side of the train tracks.

Tried to check in at 3pm but lineup of 6 people and only one person behind the counter. Hotel is tired and filthy, needs major do over. Wanted to spend some quiet time in the hot tub and pool area but there were 30-35 unruly kids that took over the space. Will be cancelling our time booked in December here.
