The room assigned to me was never cleaned, and I don’t know how long there was stuck on food in utensils in the drawers. There was most poop in every drawer all over the floor. There was blood stains on the curtains on bedding there was cigarette butts under the bed garbage under the beds behind dressers. The Internet never worked once even when I tried to explain to the hotel manager about this it was resistance, even showing them the video of the room, trying to tell me that the room had been cleaned and had to argue just to get a new room. The heat in the room didn’t work at all.

It's a beautiful area, but this property is in disrepair. The only way I found the place at night was because Google Maps told me where to turn. There was a sign, but it was unlit, and no lights in the parking lot. I drove over a curb into a \"landscaped\" feature, but it was all dead anyway. Upon check-in, I had to go back to the office to get toilet paper. There were what looked like donut sprinkles in the bathtub, and the coffee machine had not been cleaned out from the previous use. The bed was comfortable, but no care was taken when making it up. I noted dust and debris under the bed and furniture. The AC unit was held in by cardboard, and the window, which boasted a beautiful view, was streaky and dirty. I'm not sure what's going on with this place. Although I needed a cheap place to stay for a conference, I'm glad I didn't have to spend more time there. The internet connection was stable, however, for a two-hour Zoom meeting. I did appreciate that.

There was no safety lock on the front door. The cable tv did not work. The bathtub was aged and damaged with cracks. The kitchenette flooring was aged and damaged. The air conditioner was badly installed. the carpet was aged and water damaged. The kitchen counter was broken. There was a dog barking next door. I did not want to sleep here I didn't not feel safe and it did not feel clean. The sheets of both beds were dirty. I had expected a king sized bed from my order and got two twin sized beds. There were no security bars on the windows of a ground level unit, a broom stick was the only thing keeping it closed. The room was not clean. There were still objects like lipstick on the floor behind the bed. I could not stay here. I called for a ride almost immediately and I left the unit after a thirty mins. I checked out the next morning. I've never felt so unsafe in any travel accommodations in thirty years of traveling several countries.

We stayed at the hotel, we made the reservation through the Expedia platform, I stayed with my wife and 3-year-old child. The conditions are tragically unsanitary, it doesn't really matter to us that everything is old, but everything here is very dirty, the room smells like some kind of stable, we are forced to stay here, because we arrived late at night, and it is unrealistic to find another hotel, because the money for the night has already been spent in the Hoteldom on this, in my opinion, barn. I would like to receive compensation for this, because in my opinion it poses a risk to the health of my child. Such establishments should not be on your platform, in general, such establishments should not exist.

Where to start….DONT DO IT!
Bathroom - green stained tub, 4 foot high shower nozzle, sink tap isn’t attached just gravity held
Kitchen area - oven is greasy, top of cupboard sticky greasy, microwave has more yellow than white
Beds - comfortable, sheets clean, top cover coffee stained like
A/C - room was cool, couldn’t figure how to turn it off, held in with red tuck tape, every 45 minutes or so make higher pitch squeal for about 15 minutes
Pool - drained and sludgy and was told it’s been shut down for a while
Room - carpet has a 4 ft by 8 ft section cut and replaced, I wonder what happened there? Window doesn’t lock but a chunk of 1x1 was there to hold down the security of the room
There is an Indian restaurant in the same parking lot, so if you don’t like the smell of fine Indian cuisine it may bother you.

The beds were great. The hot water was good. The towels were very small and there was just one face cloth. However the room was filthy. Opened the drawer by the bed and decided to never put anything in it as it also had never been cleaned. Even the phone look like it had never be cleaned I was afraid to even touch it there was so much crud on it. The bathtub was rusty and chipped. The bathroom light only had on bulb even though it was supposed to have a few more. The light bar was very rusty as well. The base board look like hair was growing out of it. It was so bad we could not bear to stay the second night so we left after the first night. What a waste of good money.

I booked this thinking it was the (good) motel to the northeast. Boy was that a mistake. DO NOT STAY HERE!

The property should be condemned. Carpeted floor was sticky, bedsheets smelled heavily fumigated (days later I still retch when I think of that smell), bathtub tap ran constantly, mildew all over the bathroom. Air conditioner was extremely loud and blew air right to the head of the bed. The doorframe looked like it had been kicked in a few times and was not professionally repaired. Parts of the property are boarded up and others covered in debris.

The Expedia listing says \"Pool not available in winter\" but the pool was empty when we arrived in late July. The clerk at the front desk said their listing said that there was no pool available - until I pulled out my phone and showed her the listing.

I had booked online through Expedia for around $100/night but on checking the listing they are letting rooms go for as low as $50.

When we arrived there were a few dodgy looking people lounging outside of a room just down from ours; when we returned from dinner one of them was in the process of being arrested by the RCMP.

We had a four day reservation and I checked out after the first night, then had to fight with Expedia for a couple of days to get the last three days refunded. We moved to the Grandview Motel next door and were happy to see a property that was very comfortable, clean, and well-maintained.

The bed was alright but the bathroom was horrendous. Dirty and not somewhere you would want to use. I was very frustrated with the service after I left. I went to work and when I finished and went to change I realized I left my shorts in the hotel room when I went back to get them they said nothing was left in the room and that they weren't there, but they most definitely were left there. I don't know if they decided to throw them out and didn't expect me to come back but it was not good service and I'm choked about losing them.

Very disappointed, from hidden pet fees to garbage and old appliances all over the grounds. The ice machine was out of order, not that id trust having ice from this place (drinking tap water in Mexico feels safer) Junkies came and went all night, thought i was going to wake up to my car broken into. Want to relax by the pool, nope it's just an empty flthy pit. If you're not absolutely broke, pay a little more and stay somewhere else like the Ramada right across the street.... i slept on top of the covers in my clothes and got out of there as soon as the sun came up.

We only stayed one night but the motel itself was a little run down. The room we stayed in was right beside what looked like a portion of the motel that had caught fire. The outside was blackened cinders on the back side of the room and the front was all boarded up and looked like it was condemed. The room was just \"ok\" it looked a bit patched together.
1. Bed was clean and comfy
2. Floors were a bit dirty and looked like it hadn't been vacuumed.
3. Bathroom was clean, however the bath mat had dirty foot prints on it so not sure it had been washed ever. The shower was only in working order barely. And the toliet made horrible noises after flushing.
4. Ac worked great
5. T.v and WiFi worked great.
6. Price was low but you get what you pay for.

If your looking for a quick stay over for a night and you don't expect anything great then this is a fine motel. But if you have higher standards than a 2* then don't stay here.

The room was extremely dirty. There were stains on the walls, it smelled like stale air and cigarettes. Also, some if the outlets didn't work, including the ones in the bathroom. There was mouse droppings in the draws of the tv stand. There was clumps of hair and blood stains on the bed sheets. The curtains had holes in them. There was garbage under and around the bed. The tub and shower curtain were filthy and the stained. The bathroom vanity was covered in cobwebs and sand on the counter. The housekeeping/maintenance workers constantly smoked weed outside our room with other guests. There was broken glass outside the window all over the ground. The A/C was only held by duct tape on the wall, and the hotel floor looked like it had not been vacuumed and the bathroom floor was dirty as well.

On a positive note, the front desk lady was very friendly, kind, caring, helpful, and was quick to get us at least new bedding and bathroom linen. She is definitely the heart of the place. I can't say the same for the maintenance/housekeeping staff. I feel like if she was fully in charge, the place wouldn't be so dirty. Other than that, the purpose of our stay was merely a place to sleep.

You had to use the plunger everytime you used the toilet which sat in a cup of the last persons liquid, the rug was seriously stained, and old. Bathroom
mildewed and black in most of the bathroom grout. The floor in the bathroom sqeeked/water damaged and sunk down, bathtub was black from degrade and dirt. Windows looked never washed. Food from the last person behind curtains. Safety lock missing on door. I understand old but you can still keep old clean and disinfected! I was truly disturbed.

This slum hotel in Kamloops was absolutely appalling. It was so dirty, run down, in ill repair with one ground unit showing fire damage. The pictures and reviews are completely false. The pool had no water, (July) The only thing this hotel has going for it is a prime view location. It is too bad they don’t appreciate it by making this a decent hotel. Cobwebs, moths in room, dirty carpets, floors, corners, bathroom faucet loose, grimy shower, Glass was cracked and broken in art pictures on wall. Dog poo in grass, broken laundry equipment in plain view at check in. List goes on and on. This hotel should be condemned and will be contacting the City of Kamloops to do so. Hotel.com needs to vet the hotels much better and decline having these slum hotel/Inn advertised on their sites.

Property is condemned. The state of the room we stayed in is evidence of why it should all be condemned. Dirty, insects, gap at bottom of door, taped across carpet, noisy wall fan that was taped to the wall, dirty floor and walls, many holes in the old curtains, dirty windows and sill, no towels, no plug for badly stained tub, little fridge door was hard to open and water leaked onto the dirty carpet. No vacuuming under furniture. Requests for service was belittled or slow or ignored. Female receptionist was arrogant, unaccommodating, patronizing and rude. Outside of our room 425 was dusty, dirty with black cobwebs on the walls and garbage everywhere. Was the job and mostly boarded up old motel just a place to squat? We were shocked when we walked into room 425. As pensioners my sister and I were on a tight budget. Our requests were responded by the female receptionist \"Sarah\" ?? She at first would not give me her name and questioned why I asked for her name. Finally it sounded like she said said \"Sarah\". ??? After the 2nd day of me calling the phone number posted on the front office door (landline in the room did not work) \"Sarah said the solution was for us to check out\". Never in our years have we witnessed such rude, unaccommodating, unfriendly and arrogant service! There was no thought to our safety as elders and our budget and commitment to our Expedia service gave us no choice for our daily trips to Kamloops Hosp. This is being reported to the city of Kamloops.

On arrival, receptionist was absent and another guest had to call her. She arrived 5 minutes later and checked us in, in a very uninterested manner. Room was a bit dingy, bath base was old and stained, window units had blown so view out was obscured. Bedding was clean but looked like hadn't been pressed so looked like someone else had slept in it. Out side grass was long and unkempt.
Plus points, we could park right outside our room, there was a fridge and microwave in the room and water was hot and plentiful.
Overall though we were not impressed and wouldn't stay here again.

I purposely booked this hotel based on price. I’m tired of paying upwards of $250 a night for a place to sleep. Is it run down? Yes. It’s not the cleanest in some areas but the beds were comfy and the sheets were clean. We saved at least $300 by staying here. I’ve read some of the reviews and am shocked at some of them. What do you expect for $55?? You arrive then blow a spaz and leave cause it’s not perfect. If you want perfect then go elsewhere and pay top dollar. But if you want just a place to sleep that’s not going to break the bank then this is your place.

Coming from Vancouver Island and back to back storms cancelling many Christmas and Boxing Day ferry runs and in addition with the Coquahala snowstorm my planned Kamloops arrival at 2:00 Pm was delayed until 11:00 PM two hours Past check-in :-( but I phoned several times to let them know and they kept someone standing by for my late arrival. Two thumbs up for that as I was also greeted with a smile and happy to have us. Rooms were as shown in the photos, modest and clean, Beds very comfortable. Very rundown and old, but bedding was clean. All I wanted was a clean bed to sleep in and this place just met the criteria but nothing more than that.

Don't stay here

Oh boy, avoid this place. Worst hotel room I've ever stayed in. You get what you pay for. Overwhelming stench of mold, most dilapidated bathroom and fixtures I've ever seen. Most of this property is closed due to being condemned; I'd suggest the rest is soon to follow.

We selected this property because of the price, and the photos showed decent rooms, plus the outside looked really, really good. They only took outside photos of the back, which had a treed, grassy area with easy chairs, picnic tables and a terrific view over the city. Upon arrival, we saw an old, somewhat delapidated building. The room was on the small side, which was ok for just a couple of nights. Because of the age, there was a musty smell in the room, the bathtub had a black strip going down the middle toward the drain, and the showerhead was so small, it was difficult to get wet. Waterpressure was ok though. The sink faucet wasn't secured properly and lifted right off a couple of inches, and upon using the toilet for No. 2, it didn't flush. At the office we were informed that the maintenance man wasn't in at the moment, and were offered a plunger. So in the end, we fixed that little problem ourselves......

Poor condition

I have stayed here on quite a few occasions but this room is by far the worst room I have stayed in. The room is quite dated there is what I believe to be black mold. However I am not an expert so I can not be sure. The window is broken and the glass is still laying outside the window on. The ground and the window is covered by plywood. The bathroom is on such rough shape due to being dated and the fact the water was left running for a very long to I will not say how long it has been running because I have not been here but I will say I stayed here a week ago they tried to give me the room the water was on I brought the keys back because I could not turn the water off and I was told this was the only room available this time around the water was still running eventually I found a pipe wrench and shut the water off. The room was very humid. Overall I would not stay in this room if I had a choice. And if I ran a hotel there is no way on gods green earth I would let anyone stay in this room. Now the young lady at the front desk I have grown to appreciate her work ethic. She is very by the book follows all the rules and can not be pressured in any way from any guests.I very much admire and respect that. She is a very nice person and is overall my favourite part of coming to this hotel. However some of the other staff have been here a while and yet it still seems like it’s their first day every day.

The place is very run down, half of it was burned down while the other 1/4 was boarded up. There was, even a burned down car in the parking lot. The rooms were so old and wallpaper peeling from the walls. I wish I can post pictures cause I didn't end up staying cause it smeeledlike smoke. I didn't get a refund after checking in and leaving 15 min later.

The parking lot was clean, with lots of space for parking. The door was lockable but poorly sealed. The bed was comfortable and clean, there was soap, towels, a hair dryer, and two rolls of toilet paper, stains in the tub —TV, AC, heat, stove, fridge, and microwave, no pots pans, or utencles. Two chairs, both in need of repair or replacement, two tables, dresser? for TV and one night stand. Nice view out back with a bench and pick-nik table. The smoke detector would start beeping once in a while for no apparent reason. Pool available.

I’m surprised it has a business licences. It looks condemned. Half buildings burnt or boarded up. Dirty rooms no landscaping maintenance. Looks like some low income housing could be happening but most of place is inhabitable. We did not stay. Looked inside room and canceled booking. Made complaint to Expedia. Photos online were probably from 5-10 years ago. It probably was a cute place at one time. I’ve stayed at many three star or less places. This should not be allowable to advertise as proper inn or motel. Beware.

The bath hot water tap was stuck to running. It had obviously been like that a long time as the bath had turned green where the water was running. Sink cold water tap would not turn on. Food splatter up the wall near the fridge. Too tired to complain, thankfully the pillows and bed were fairly comfortable and seemed clean.

Not good even a $70

Terrible...should have called Kamloops business licensing.
poor reception. room 430 has power bars and extension cords attached to the walls. Window was cracked and dirty.

Bathroom disgusting with sink taps not attached and tub worse we have ever seen. WE WOULDN'T EVEN SHOWER!
We had prepaid ....no refunds and it was late
The bedding was clean.
