The staff and hotel was wonderful. However there was a person who was screaming in the alley behind the hotel that could be heard on the 8th floor. Not the property's fault, but disappointed this wasn't resolved faster (went on over an hour).

The staff couldn't find my Expedia reservation so I paid with a different card and when I checked out the next day the money I paid Expedia triggered and I basically paid twice and everyone I've contacted at Expedia and Courtyard by Marriott St cloud has done nothing to help to return the money that by the way was almost $30 over what I paid when I made the reservation through Expedia. This has been an absolute nightmare dealing with your staff.

Room was good. Hot tub was a funky color with lots of suds. I was very frustrated with not having any creamer for coffee in the lobby. The front desk was very helpful getting some creamer for a cup of coffee from the bistro for my first cup, but later in the morning the bistro was closed and there was no creamer to be found anywhere. It’s the little things like that, that make a great stay. Get some creamer for your guests please!

Nice, just loud on weekends

Room was clean and had all the things I wanted. However, if you have a west facing room (towards the Red Carpet bar), late at night on the weekends you can hear everyone out and about.

Otherwise everything else way great and we didnt hear other patrons in the hotel which is always a plus.

We stayed one night for a concert at the Ledge. Room was clean, bed was very comfortable and had lots of space. The room had everything we needed! We would stay again.

The front desk could have been friendlier, the ramp was free to park nights and weekends (we stayed a Friday night) but we were still charged to park in the ramp by the hotel. I feel for the price of the room the parking fee should be included.

Our rooms smelled of either mold or musty/wet smell. Paint spill on the walls. Only 1 garbage can. The carpet was dirty making our shoes, feet, socks black. TVs could be upgraded to smart tvs. We couldnt even watch 20 minutes of a show without the cable digitizing or pausing during it. The issues were brought up to the manager but no refund was offered. We only got an apology. This hotel doesnt offer free breakfast unless its 4 hours past breakfast and they have extra fresh fruit to get rid of.

Everyone was very nice and helpful, but the wallpaper was covered with white paint and it looked like a bug was squished on the ceiling. Our view out both of our windows was a brick wall 10 feet away unless we sat on the window seal so we could see what was going on in the street. The elevators had a better view….

We had a beautiful 2 room suite on the 7th floor. Everything was clean and the beds were very comfortable. My only complaint is that the lighting in the bathroom was too dim and there wasn't enough counter space for 2 people, let alone a family of 4. (Especially with one of the children having a dance competition to get ready for.) A counter with mirror and sink outside of the bathroom would've made the room top notch! The pool area was nice and the kids had fun swimming. The front desk was left unattended alot. Out of the 8-10 times I walked thru the lobby, i only saw someone at the desk twice. I waited over 5 minutes to buy something at the little market and nobody was around to pay so I put my stuff back and left. All of that being said, I'd still stay here again.

Eh, expected better for $300/night

Per usual, I was asked to use a card for incidentals upon checking in even though the room was paid for in advance. When I entered my room and read the \"welcome card,\" I discovered that the guest parking was contracted in the adjacent ramp & the $4 nightly fee would be charged to my card as an incidental fee which I found off-putting. I didn't complain because, after all, it's $4. But, still. C'mon! The room, at a glance, all appeared orderly. When I 1st used the toilet I noticed that there was toilet paper in the water. I dismissed it as a simple house keeping oversight during cleaning. The bedroom television never worked properly. Each channel was pixelated & choppy. The living area TV work perfectly so I simply chose to do all my viewing there since I was staying only one night.

Parking 🅿️ ramp, small, tight spaces. Worried about people hitting me. Just the whole layout of the ramp and hotel was odd and didn't make sense to me. Why would I pay to walk all around a weird ramp that I cannot easily determine which spots are for the hotel and which are for private spaces, then go back in and out to start over while it's 3 degrees outside. No, not happening again. WIFI not working, as in, not working at all. Unacceptable for anyone much less business travelers. Won't be back here.

“The Red Carpet” across the street had an all night bar brawl that lasted through a thunderstorm; and the yelling was louder than the thunder. If you look it up online apparently this is not unusual for the area. It’s also rated “F” for safety online; we did not know this when booking.

You have our stay dates wrong.
Courtyard is very clean, neat and the staff was wonderful! It was raining, so asked if they had an umbrella we would borrow. They found one for us to use two different times...different staff. The maintenance staff was also extremely helpful when needed. The hotel is within walking distance of many fun dining places, flower shop, gift shop and antique shops. We felt very comfortable with the surroundings.

Perfect location for the convention center. Parking garage is great. Staff is super friendly and helpful…. Everyone is nice.
But… the hotel seems run down. It needs a “not so gentle” facelift in the guest rooms. I had a suite and you have to close the bedroom door to walk into the bathroom because it opens across the bathroom entry— seems simple, but not fun in the middle of the night. Positives: The little restaurant area has Starbucks coffee - if you can get there before 9:30am, when it closes. The food for dinner is a simple menu but food is good. Also, it is in a great location with many restaurants to walk to.

This property is right in the heart of downtown St. Cloud near all the bars and restaurants. They also have free ramp parking.
The downside is that the amenities are not great. And the service is not good. No continental breakfast. Check in was two hours late because of computer issues and no offer of any sort of discount.

Not worth $200 a night

This room is NOT worth $200 a night. The room has an office chair that has the seat pealing apart. There is also a side chair that has the cushion showing serious age. I would not recommend this hotel at this cost. I would stay there for $89 a night. The carpet seam is coming apart as well. Front desk staff are very friendly. On site kitchen was closed, probably due to staffing which is not surprising right now.

Pre-purchasing the breakfast wasn’t ideal. Kids don’t eat free and it was just $ to spend at the bistro. The staff weren’t familiar with how to handle the situation. I paid $4 for parking in a public ramp through the hotel on the weekend that was free on the weekends. Nothing terrible, just a few irritating things I wish I had known.

Perhaps my expectations were too high

This was a short overnight and I spent more time than expected in the hotel and room. The room was clean and fairly comfortable, although some of the furniture was definitely worn and dated. The mattress and bedding were very comfortable. The bathroom had modern features.

The air conditioning in the lobby apparently was not working, so large barn fans were attempting to cool the space. The attempts weren’t working. Apparently this reality also affected the operation of the bistro, which was closed throughout my stay.

Staff weren’t rude, but didn’t got out of their way in any way.

Finally, I had been looking forward to spending some time in the whirlpool, which was also not working.

All in all, it was fine for a Midwestern motel experience. Certainly not a Marriot hotel experience however.

The staff we encountered were friendly but not very knowledgeable. The furniture in the room was very dirty, I put the blanket from the extra bedding bag (that smelled of bleach, so I hope it was clean) over the couch before letting my kids sit on it. There was a gummy bear stuck to the cabinet next to the TV, the TV signal was awful and attempting to watch it was more frustrating than anything and we just turned it off. The hot tub had a lot of sand at the bottom, and my kids and other guests fell in the swimming area by the restrooms because the floor was so slippery. Good luck figuring out what they mean by \"breakfast included\", my reservation was for 5 people but when I looked it only included breakfast for 2. The staff had no idea what that meant - from Starbucks or the little market area?- , so we got 4 breakfast meals at the Starbucks, which was never recorded anywhere. I hope I don't get a surprise bill, for a poor breakfast that cost way more than our dinner for 4 of us at Red Robin that night. We won't be back.

I used my reward night for this stay, and still had almost $175 come out of my bank account. And it was just a standard king room.. And I had requested a nice view and got to stare out at the brick wall 10 feet from my window. and they only put me on 3rd floor... And then to make matters worse, the hotel said they would refund my money and i havent seen a dime of it. And the lady swiped my card like 10 times and it tried to charge me all sorts of amounts. And then the hotel sent me an email receipt or whatever it was and that said that they had only charged like $5 to my card. So i dont know who to contact or what to do now but im pissed! And i keep getting ignored when contacting the support staff on the hotels.com app. Nice hotel though, it WAS one of my favorites.

This is a decent, clean hotel downtown, located by lots of different walkable eateries. It was not busy at all on a Friday night stay, and it was very quiet. Even though the listing said free parking in several places (including Google), we were charged $4 for an overnight parking spot - and we weren't notified of this charge in advance. Other than that we had a very pleasant stay.
