The staff were nice. We showed up and pool was closed for painting. Floor in our room was not vacuumed. The toilet seat did not fit the toilet, so your thighs would hit the under part of the toilet. So I had to put a towel under the toilet seat. Overall it was a place that is doable for a night.

The property desperately needs updating. Beds are hard, cleanliness hampered by wear on the fixtures. They had signs they were remodeling and the pool was being painted . I hope it is the entire property being remodeled and not just the pool!

It would have been great if they would have put on the Website for the property and on Expedia that the pool was going to be closed for painting. We checked before we booked and checked when we got to the property and it was not posted. The night counter petson was very rude when asked about it and said it is posted on the front counter and was very rude about the situation.

DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!! The staff here display a mob in a gang mentality, and there is a history of this if you read the lowest star reviews. My girlfriend’s DoorDash order was delivered to the wrong room and when I went to get her money back, I was threatened with violence. I was then chased through the parking lot by one of those men along with the night auditor the night auditor name is Quan He’s at least 6 foot five and the following day because I called the police to get our money back. The entire staff changed their attitude. They were all rude dismissive. They were unhelpful. They did not give us any leeway or provide us with proper pricing on a room to stay out the huge blizzard last weekend. Juan was not there at six in the morning, but somehow was back after breakfast. When he saw me come in the lobby that morning he bolted from the front office and got in my personal space towering over me. A black gentleman housekeeper came on the left side, and I was completely towered over by two giant men. While Quan was screaming, and pointing for me to get out, I was threatened with violence, I feared for my life, and thought they were gonna shove me in one of the open rooms they were cleaning, and I wouldn’t be able to get out. I’ve called police, left message with Wyndham I’ve called organizations they don’t care, and when the manager finally called me, let’s just say she insulted me because I have mental illness Do not take your families there ever!!!!

Checked in late Friday night after a long 3 hour drive. Staff was initially nice, until I returned after a few minutes to say the room we were given smelled like smoke. The door was even opened slightly before we had to shut it using our key card. My daughter said there was a toilet smear which leads me to believe someone used the toilet. So staff said there were full and couldn’t switch rooms. I said you said there were more people waiting to check in ( I could even see behind the desk). She literally just threw the keys cards on the counter upset I was requesting a different room. She said those people picked there room, even though she told me different earlier. She huffed and switching rooms. Then the new room was dirty. At this point I gave up. The hot tub was luke warm, pool area was extremely wet all over floors- appears like a drainage issue, breakfast was practically gone by 7 am and the way the breakfast area is set up is horrible, no room and in everyone’s way. Breakfast staff lady was friendly though. Cereal spinner had only two types of cereal, even though it had spot for 4. Nothing was really restocked except the round eggs and sausage, other items were practically gone and not refilled. Place could use updating and better organized. Fitted bed sheets were put on inside out, which led me to believe they just flip them? Only 3 pillows on each bed. Major issue-no usb plug ins!!! Outlets in room wore out. Would not stay again for the price.

Staff was good, room was clean. Loved the jacuzzi tub, just the right size. Faced the tv so I could watch it while soaking in the tub. The only thing I didn’t like was the bed. Much too hard, it’s one of those old spring beds with the hard ribbon band running around the whole lip of the bed.

The gal behind the counter was having a bad day and that rubbed off a bit on her customers, but hey we all have bad days at times so that is not a deterrent for a next time stay.

When we arrived to this hotel, it looked completely different from the photos taken. They must have done \"remodeling\" at some point. It was extremely dark inside, and did not feel welcoming at all. It took us about 15-20 minutes to check in due to technology issues. When we went to our room, it just felt dirty and definitely needed upgrading. Again, our room did not look as clean as the pictures others have taken. It smelt musty when we entered, the shower looked well loved, just not what we were expecting. We actually left and decided not to stay the night due to our experience. Other hotels that are not too far from this once charge around the same price, so i would go elsewhere. Wish we could have gotten refunded for this stay, but havent heard back yet.

The hotel was good to work with me on the first of my 4 night booking, as my cancelled flight in changed my itinerary.
I was not able to access my room 2 times in 3 days due to faulty room keys, which was an inconvenience.
There is no elevator in the hotel, so travel light unless you have help carrying bags. Some of the patrons congregate outside to smoke, and then bring the smell into the hallways, which I found annoying. Not my best stay for the money.

I was disappointed with the hot tub and pool being unclean. The pool water smelled like urine. Our room was very cold set at 60 degrees and it took several hours to warm up. Walmart and server food stores are close by which was nice. But I would not stay here again.

If Nostradamus lived until July, 3rd 1566 I’m almost positive he would have predicted that this Americinn location in Sartell, MN would be ran down by an unprofessional employee at the front desk. I travel for work and have never left a review.. EVER! I hope this finds management or better yet the owners and they save this business by firing the, angry at the world, front desk lady. Pretty sure they know who she is (hard to miss). I feel bad for the hotel having to get hit with this review because of one employee that knows nothing about customer service but everything about everything! Ratings are crashing here fast.

am staff was very rude due to mix up about my dog (service dog with papers). when I looked up your hotel on line I checked to see if animals were allowed your site said dogs were not allowed but service dogs were welcome. I went to the manager at the front desk to let her know and she said only certain service were allowed but that my dog could stay. She then wrote in a book that she was allowing my dog to stay. the next morning two staff (Chris and a male) were waiting for me near the back door Chris told me my dog was not allowed when I told her that I spoke with the manager last night and that she approved it, Chris said that person was not her boss. I told Chris and the male that my dog was a service dog she asked me for what, I told her for anxiety Chris said that did not count. Chris didn't need to be rude, she said she wasn't, I told she was very rude. My husband and I went to breakfast and Chris and other staff members were watching me and seemed to be talking about me. They would walk close to our table and stand there talking about the food. I later went up to the desk and apologized to Chris about the misunderstanding and said the hotel was very nice and in return Chris said \"your dog still isn't supposed to be here\". we were big fans of Wyndham hotels, we probably won't be anymore.

The rooms had a very odd smell which never cleared. Otherwise, the rooms were clean. We were not impressed with one of the staff who complained about the city, the company, and her coworkers. We were saddened by the lack of professionalism. The pool is nice, but the hot tub is decaying.

We booked this property for a birthday weekend and we planned on using the two beds and couch for sleeping. We got there and the couch was ripped with mystery stains so we had to smush into the two beds. When I asked the woman who checked us in (who clearly hates her job and maybe people in general) said she couldn’t transfer our rooms and since we prepaid we were stuck. There are so many other places to stay in that area so I would pick another spot.

Eh, so so.

Room was good. We booked one with what we thought would have a couch, it didn't. But it did have a jacuzzi. We got a roll away cot for an extra 10 bucks instead.
Left in the am for something and came back to find our room mid way stripped.
When getting a receipt they claimed our room door was left open and that is why they went ahead and started cleaning it.
I know we did not leave our room open. Even if we had planned to check out early when we left, I would not leave a hotel room door open.
I told the lady at the front desk that I did not leave the room open. She kept saying it over and over, you left the room open that is why, you left the room open. No ma'am we did not, but not worth arguing. We've stayed here a few times before. Probably won't be back because of this.

Hallway smelled like an old folks home. King suite had numerous issues that need repair. Chipped paint/sheetrock around fire alarm, patching compound smeared over hole behind door, chipping paint on ceiling, musty smell in room, soap scum ring in tub. Not what I expected for $185/night.

When we arrived, the parking lot was being seal coated. We were told to park in the dirt in back that was crowded and muddy. Since the hotel has a relationship with the bar across the street, it would have been nice for customers with cars to be able to use the space. Other than that, check-in was fast and the woman at the desk was polite and suggested the bar across the street for food. The room was nice, clean, and well stocked. The outlets largely worked off the wall switch by the door, so turning out the lights were from the wall switch or separate fixture switches. Breakfast was fine, though later it was not well stocked. A little tension among employees at checkout (one was training on the computer and the trainer was very short with the trainee). Overall, a nice stay, but some attention to details would be nice (temporary parking and breakfast kept current).

The main parking lot was blocked off due to them resurfacing so we had to park in the back on the gravel and haul all our luggage to the front doors around the building.The hot tub was barely even warm (84°F)The staff working said she \"wasn't trained to adjust the temp\". It also had a weird smell (we did not smell any chlorine at all) and the water was murky looking. Half the lights were off in the pool area and when someone asked to have them turned on she said everything that could be on was on. But then when I asked her minutes later, she just flipped a switch and they all turned on. No towels available until we had to ask for some. Breakfast was ok. Good variety of food, but we had to ask them to refill things that ran out twice and one of the containers holding the food was broke. Coffee was cold and almost gone by 8am. Would not stay here again.

It could have used a bit more cleaning in the bathroom. Check-in took a while and they had an AirPod in with loud rap. Finally took it out and when had to call for assistance it switched to phone saying n word a bunch in the song 😅 he was nice but had kept trying to run a card on file without asking me and it was very expired which is why it kept declining and didn’t ask for another until I asked if something was wrong because it’s been about 5 minutes.

I’m writing to express my disappointment following a recent stay at your property. The bed in my room was extremely hard and uncomfortable, making it nearly impossible to get a good night’s rest.
When I attempted to address the issue with the night auditor, I was met with complete disinterest. Rather than offering any assistance or even showing concern, he remained focused on watching a sports game on his phone throughout our interaction. This lack of professionalism was both frustrating and disappointing.

We stayed at this property eight years ago and it was nice. Unfortunately, it has not been maintained and updated so furnishings were damaged and chipped from years of use. The room had an odor. A coin on the floor and filthy corners in the bathroom and by the tub. The tub’s surface was worn off and disgusting. Most breakfast items were gone. Evidently an altercation in the parking lot between someone and a hotel employee had brought police to the premises so staff was busy outside instead of attending breakfast needs. Never again.

If you enjoy people who aggressively pursue you from across the parking lot when you are minding your own business, approaching you while they are raising their voice at you, making nasty comments, raising their voice at your 11-year-old child, accusing you of committing a crime, and deciding to be judge, jury, and executioner, then this place is for you. If that's not enough to excite you, how about having a K-9 officer involved and clearing you of any wrongdoing just to be told that you are never allowed to come back or you will face being arrested for trespassing. If you enjoy someone saying that they are afraid to hand you the letter themselves because they are afraid to talk to you when they were the one acting aggressively, then the management team at this hotel is just what you need to make an impossible situation all it can be. Just the kind of thing that makes a family emergency everything you hoped it could be.

Stayed two nights. A Fiday and a Saturday, had to have two separate bookings Expedia's system. Saturday was for my sons birthday pool party. On Friday night the hotel reeked of weed. And the hotel staff didn't seem to care. My only issue with that was other parents dropping off kids. Friday night I was informed pool and hot tub heater not working and was informed it would be up and running by Saturday. Now come Saturday and guests arrive for the pool party, only to discover someone had defecated in the pool. Pretty disappointing experience overall.

They closed the pool right when we checked in, out of the staffs control, but it was a big bummer because we had swapped hotels to have a functioning pool to relax in after a long day of travel.

Trash was left in our room from previous guests, and period blood was in the wall next to the toilet upon check in. Not impressed.

The front desk staff was very nice and apologetic. Front commons area clean and spacious. Just a very disappointing experience after spending over $200 to stay in a dirty room with no amenities to enjoy.
