After check in we went to our room. Upon opening the door the room had an odor. The air conditioner was making a noise. I called the front desk and she promptly changed our room. The 2nd room had a better smell. The air conditioner was working properly. Hiwever the bathroom cleanliness was lacking.

This was an emergency stop due to car troubles we were having. Everything was wonderful and the staff was amazingly accommodating! Everything was clean, the pool and hot tub were great, and the breakfast was small but delicious!

We stayed in a handicap room because it was almost full. The mattress was about 4” thick and appeared to be past its age of providing any form of comfort. It was absolutely awful. My husband and I took days after to actually feel better when we returned home. We almost left after the first night, but we had prepaid and it was a holiday weekend so we were most likely stuck. In the bathroom, the ceiling had stains from water overflowing above. The popcorn ceiling was bubbling, but rather then scrape it and start over , it was simply painted over. The updates in the room felt like putting lipstick on a pig. We will not be making that mistake again.

We were feeling really optimistic when checking in, as the facility looked clean and taken care of. When we got to our room, the A/C unit did not work so it was approximately 80 degrees in our room, with no way to decrease the temp. Additionally, there was a smoke alarm that chirped throughout the entire stay, even though cleaning staff had been in and out of the room. I had initially booked the hotel due to the pool and hot tub, and the hot tub was filled but was closed off, saying authorized personnel only, so we were unable to use that too.

We were in a large group and had an excellent two night stay here. The staff was so nice and helpful. The pool and hot tub area is very nice and the rooms are fine. Dated but very clean. Very convenient location, things within walking distance. We all agreed we would stay here again!

Bar/pizza spot was perfect! Amazing staff great selection. Breakfast area in hotel was super small with minimal seating-lots of sports teams so it took along time. Our a/c unit went out in the middle of the night! Super frustrating when we had to leave for a game at 720am. When we checked out at 11 my husband told the front desk and they made a comment that we should have told the when it happened! Very frustrating

We had two rooms. Both had maintenance issues. One had a toilet that wouldn't fill with water and a TV remote that didn't function. The other had a shower that wouldn't get hot. Between the two rooms, we had one complete room. When I went to the front desk, I was informed that the hotel was booked and there were no other rooms available. I was also told that the woman could do nothing for me, no one was there that she could send to fix anything and no manager would be in for the next two days. So, I was urged to call and speak to someone later.

When we arrived and checked in we went to our room and when we unlocked the door with our card there was someone still using the room. So we went back to the front desk to tell them there was someone still in the room the staff had no clue that there was someone still in the room. The person at the front desk got us another room and when we got in that room it didn't look like it was even cleaned. There was hair in the sheets of the bed and hair all over the bathroom floor. And when we checked out we told the person at the front desk about it and all she said was oh I'm sorry to hear that and pretty much just sent us on our way. We will never go back to the Quality Inn St Cloud West in St cloud MN.

Our stay at this Quality Inn was overall much better than another hotel we had previously booked in the area. The room was clean and comfortable, and the location is excellent — close to restaurants, shopping, and other conveniences. It is also connected to House of Pizza, and guests receive a 10% discount, which was a nice bonus.

The only issues we experienced were related to noise. Around 12:30 a.m. on Saturday night, there was a loud disturbance in the hallway involving someone screaming, which woke me up. Then during checkout in the morning, there appeared to be a disagreement between employees at the front desk that was also quite loud.

Aside from those incidents, the stay was positive overall, and I would consider staying here again because of the cleanliness, convenience, and location.

I was onl6 able to get a room with 1 king instead of 2 queens. Why dont they list dog rooms as an option if they only have 3 dog rooms? I can pick hearing impaired room, why not a pet room?

Staff was very courteous. The bathroom had a bulb out and the tub surround had a missing bar. We reported it and they stated it was put on the maintenance schedule. The staff wasn’t on top of cleaning tables in the dining area. The treadmill was also broken. This was not reported to staff.

My stay was OK, not great. The room was so hot that it was uncomfortable to be in. I had to run the air conditioner to cool it off. Not being able to control my own heat was very inconvenient. When I ran the air, it was so loud I couldn't hear the TV even at a high volume setting. I stayed 4 nights. My room was only cleaned once on my last night, and the bed was barely made. The sheets and pillows were not straightened, and the bed cover was crooked, hanging on the floor on one side. Coffee was not restocked, and several dirty towels were left on the floor. I only saw someone at the desk once, and that was at check-in, so I never had the opportunity to ask for more coffee or to adjust the heat. I was staying for work, so I just made do, as I wasn't able to choose a hotel myself.

Rooms were clean, but very dark. There were not enough lamps to light up the room. The bathrooms only had 1 bulb in the so it was like showering in the dark!

Front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. Prompt to check in. I'd been having a long day, and she was very sympathetic to the situation. Just laughed it off with me. After my sister arrived, the front desk called to see if everything was good and if we needed anything. That's awesome, definitely will be going back.

It's a nice quiet place, convenient to everything; gym is very small but the equipment was usable; I like that the hot tub is restricted to adults only after 10 PM.

The staff is really the reason that I’m giving this a few stars here, the man at the front desk checked us in late and was still there the next morning and was SO kind and understanding. We slept fine, but woke up to a huge amount of humidity in the room, a massive spider, and a moldy ice container. Overall aside from these things the staff deserves all 5 stars.

Property is obviously older and kind of “tired”. Bathroom had rusty dark stains around the tub and tile, but everything was clean. Beds were very comfortable and our room was pretty quiet. They seemed understaffed - we had to call out to find someone to check in. However the staff members who we interacted with were very friendly and courteous.

There was trash in the parking lot, even though there was a dumpster right there, and there were chicken bones around my bed and sauce from wings on the sheets and bedding. I had stayed there once before and it wasn’t like that so it was really unclean and gross even compared to the last time I was there I didn’t sleep at all

The pool smelled of mold, our room had a major ant problem that I would consider an infestation. They ruined some of pur groceries that were on a table. Dogs were barking at 7 a.m and didnt stop until after 8 a.m. The party room was good, but the stay wasn't great.

They were super nice. I accidentally booked a handicap room and they were able to transfer me to a regular room. When I decided to stay another day they made sure to keep me in the same room. It was quiet and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was good. I would stay again.

Staff was pleasant - we stayed for a couple days so we did not need cleaning, but Housekeeper was super nice, (an older gentleman) asked us if we needed anything extra as we walked by while he was a few rooms past ours.
Was very nice to check with us, I have never been asked. :)

Probably will not choose this one again.

We used a lint brush to clean numerous hairs from our sheets and mattresses. No elevator was an issue for us.
We tried to use the attached pizza parlor at 10:30 pm and they said they were not making any more pizza, even though they were open until 11pm.

Having a restaurant attached is a major convenience, especially when it's a very good one! The in-room AC unit was very noisy when running. Also the bathroom fan was a bit noisy, too. The stopper in the bathroom sink didn't work. Overall, I was satisfied. Just some little things to look at.

Average hotel, liked the hot tub being a bit away from the pool. Workout room needs some care - treadmill and weight equipment did not work. Shower was warm but not hot like every other hotel we have stayed in. Beds were comfy, plenty of pillows, very quiet and close to things to do.
