Breakfast was good. The couch in the room had a stale cigarette smell even though it was a non smoker room. I asked the front desk employee at 9:00 pm if I could pay the balance with cash when I checked out , she informed that I could not only credit card ?? When I checked out in the morning cash was fine.

The room was great for the most part. The pull out couch was uncomfortable and the noise from the hallway through the night was very audible from the room where the couch was located making for a rough night of sleep. The separate bedroom area allowed for those in that space to sleep well and not hear the hallway noise as much.

Stay away from room 430 as it is the farthest from the front desk and closest to the highway. Very noisy all night long. Had not experienced this in my numerous stays at this hotel. Otherwise, it is fine.

The breakfast was great. I won’t usually eat breakfast at hotels they’re so bad but this had lots of great options including fresh eggs, fried sausages, fried potatoes. I was impressed and appreciative. Exits were convenient for letting my dog outside and we were able to turn the fan on at night to help with some of the noise. Good place to stay.

1. My husband and I got bedbugs bites from staying here!! We will have throw away a bunch of stuff before going home. 2. They said they will get a crib ready for us the day before our travel, but when we got there they said there’s none available. We had to cosleep with our baby, luckily he didn’t get bedbug bites

Excellent stay

This was the best hotel!! Clean, comfy with a large separate bedroom. Full kitchen! Easy to get to. Great breakfast choices. I believe they offered free food in the evening but we were there for a wedding so we didn’t partake. The only thing I would change I would suggest better lighting by the bathroom mirror!

What a great find! In a much quieter location than other properties we had looked at. We absolutely loved the courtyard area with the grills and basketball court. Breakfast had a lot of tasty options, the rooms were clean, and the beds were extremely comfortable. But the best part was the staff. Typically at hotels in this category, we wouldn’t have expected such warm, considerate service, but everyone we encountered seemed genuinely happy to be doing their jobs!

My check-in was very smooth. I had chosen to stay at this hotel for business.

I returned late night after a banquet I was a little surprised that the commercial toilet in my room backed up putting an inch plus of water across the entire floor. It even soaked into the carpet in my bedroom. I quickly shut the water off from the valve. I then called down to the front desk a couple of times to reach someone. I informed him that the toilet had backed up and I needed some assistance. He became instantly annoyed, stated that this was not his problem, and he wasn't interested in hearing it. I asked if I could at least get a plunger and a mop? I was informed that he would be willing to bring me a plunger but there was only one mop in the hotel and I wasn't going to get it. A few minutes later when he delivered the plunger he didn't want to enter and look at the bathroom. I finally insisted because I wanted him to see that it was not obviously clogged and how much water was involved. He still wouldn't go into the bathroom. Once he got to the bedroom door he could see the amount of water coming out of the bathroom floor into the bedroom. He stated that his only concern was that much water could flood down into the unit beneath me. He left and

Everyone was very friendly and the place was very clean. The only frustrating thing, which the property could not control, was that the luggage carts were always gone, and for hours at a stretch. The staff said some people take them tobtheir room the night before they check out to ensure they have one. I guess the only way to solve that would be a check-out system.

Overall our stay went fine. The room was a nice size and the beds were relatively comfortable. The room wasn’t super clean- lots of dirty finger prints on the door frames and a slightly funky smell. The pool worked fine for our needs. Biggest complaint is that our room was at the end of the hall which was next to an exit to outside and that door was highly trafficked most of the night and unfortunately it slammed every time it closed. This made for a tough night sleep for my family next to that really noisy door.

My only thing was that the breakfast was not great at all and the staff there were slow to refill things. We stayed for one night at this hotel while in town attending a service for a family member that had recently passed. After long day of travel from South Dakota, we arrived at the hotel after 10pm for our stay and immediately greeted by a friendly young lady who was very helpful and kind. Once we got to the room, we opened the door and immediately noticed a strange odor so turned on the fan in hopes it would help. (We both agreed the smell was similar to what could be that of a floor being mopped with dirty water but never were we able to place where it was coming from or what it was.) Due to the late hour of our arrival, we were too tired to call down to the desk to complain. We simply crawled into bed to rest up for the service we were attending in town the following day. We kept the fan on all night to circulate the air and in all honesty, we both slept great! The kitchen, bathroom and living room appeared to be clean. The bed was comfortable. However, we were never able to circulate the odor out of the room. When we checked out the next morning, we forgot to mention the odor to the front desk in our haste - but once again the staff was very friendly and the lobby, hallways, restroom next to the lobby were all neat and tidy. Despite the strange odor we experienced, we would give Homewood Suites another opportunity to host our stay. It was close to everything we needed - and the friendly smiling staff was enough to overlook what we believe to be an isolated incidence.

The property itself is fine, the frustration came when we had to pay $75 cleaning fee for our pets. Nowhere on Expedia’s site was this mentioned. When talking to the staff they were adamant that it’s absolutely non-refundable because it’s on their website. We’ve travelled with our pets and stayed in many hotels, never having to pay a fee like this. Not sure if we should be upset with Expedia or the hotel chain.

I took my family here to go swimming. The pool got “contaminated” and they told us it was closed for days. They offered us to go across the street to a sister hotel only to find that their hot tub was out of order as well. You can hear everything at this hotel. We booked a suite only to listen to the people above us very late into the night. No sound barrier. Was not a good experience and we requested a call from the manager and have not heard anything.

The only small bummer was the very small, echo-chamber swimming area. The pool is much smaller than the pics show and the echo from noise is insane. Definitely the smallest hotel pool & area I've seen, but clean and safe.
