The hotel is clean. Plenty of amenities. The rooms are a good size. Breakfast is hot with a variety of selections. Easy to find and plenty of restaurants and shopping within the area. Coffee shops like Starbucks, Dunkins, etc.

You can hear everything. Kids running up and down the halls, yelling, all hours. No monitoring by staff.

The staff was not that friendly or welcoming. Did not explain anything at checkin, was borderline rude. Acted inconvenienced. The only nice person we interacted with was a young gal at checkout. Wished she would have been working during our entire stay.

Probably won't stay again due to the staff experience and the lack of noise insulation.

We arrived late in the evening and were ready to just crash.
Expectations had been lowered when just after check in the previous customer came back to the desk saying the room he had been given looked “lived in”.
Our room had an odd aroma which became worse when the ac kicked on. Turning it off helped somewhat, so no big deal as it was a comfortable evening outside.
When getting set for bed we realized that our shower had no rod or curtain. Both were stashed away in the closet. As it was now after 11 and we were leaving at 7:15 we made the best of things in the morning with clever aim and use of towels.
The breakfast was barely edible and sparse. When arriving back up in the room the tub had still not drained.
We will not be back and may be done with the brand as a whole, as there have been other borderline stays.
Seems as if franchisees are deferring maintenance.

I think you should advertise this hotel as a hostile instead of a hotel!
It smelt like the sweatiest mildew forming gym socks in my room or perhaps someone passed away in that room and it was just never taken care of.
304 was disgusting blood stains on the sheet, that were put on the bed inside out. No towels in the room, except a wash cloth and hand towel. Chair pushed up in the bed, no liners in the garbage randomly, tv remote sticky, looks like they may be started cleaning it and just walked away and said no.
I got in late at night & exhausted from my drive.
I didn't realize all of this. I fell asleep immediately and woke up to the disgust. I had to get up in the middle of the night to turn the fan on because the smell was so overwhelming.
I went down at 6am to get towels explained the whole situation and how I would love a refund of my monies however the owner behind the counter said no can't give refund. I can put u in different room! No- I just want to shower & get out of the nasty!

This is the second time ive stayed here, last time the incidental fee i believe was $50 this time it was just as much as the room i rented, not to mention there is a no smoking policy right? Well when i ealked out from my room it smelled like Marijuana extremely bad, in my opinion your staff need to be doing rounds to prevent this from happening, lots of young kids stay with their parents pretty sure they do not want to be smelling that, very disappointed in that fact and you need to have the staff do a better job at that.

Some of the other guests staying there were rude and inconsiderate as to yelling and stomping up and down hallways late in night. Evidently they were in town for a game with their children abd just let them run wild!

The hallways smelled of either urine or marijuanas. The phone in our room rang twice early in the morning and woke us up. The hotel has a pre-check in but once you get into the hotel you have to check in all over again. In the morning after breakfast my card had been deactivated and I couldn’t get into my room. When I brought my complaints up to the front the person there didn’t seem to even care and almost made me seem like it was my fault that stuff happened.

The room had a very strong, unpleasant odor—similar to fish or something decaying—which made the stay uncomfortable from the start. Cleanliness was also an issue. The room did not appear to be properly cleaned: there were visible stains on the shower curtain, and noticeable hand and arm prints on the headboard and other surfaces from previous guests. As a former housekeeper, this did not meet basic cleanliness standards.

The bathroom lighting was limited to the mirror area, which made visibility poor. The carpet felt like it needed a thorough vacuuming and deep cleaning. The provided soaps also felt very cheap and were extremely drying.

We even tried using room spray to mask the smell, but it did not help. Given the condition of the room n hotel overall, the pricing does not feel appropriate and should be lower to reflect the overall experience.

We stayed for 5 days and I had to asked for new towels each time I wanted them. They never came in to clean or make the beds. Never emptied the garbage cans. The room was clean when we got there but I don’t know if I would go back. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was boring. We didn’t eat anything.

My room did not have a hair dryer. I went to the front desk and no one was there. I called the front desk from my cell phone (room phone didnt work) and no one answered. I went to plan B for my hair which was not ideal. The shower was at best lukewarm. I tried to wait to see if it would warm up over time but that didnt work; only got colder.walls are also thin! Bed was very comfortable and zi am not that picky!

My room was not fit to be used. Terrible patch work on the wall as well as a rotten subfloor right next to the window that they tried to cover up which was also right by the heating unit. What made it more disturbing is that I was on the 3rd floor of this hotel. 100% will never even consider staying at this hotel.

I arrived late from traveling all day. The staff was friendly, but the heating unit in the room was loud when it wasn't running and extremely loud when it was running. It made sleeping very difficult. If I had to pick between that room and continuing to drive tired, I would choose to drive tired.

Got to hotel America Inn checked in the room was paid for on Expedia. The desk clerk was very nice.
Needed my credit card to hold a 150 dollars that would be refunded once my stay was over.
My stay was 3 days we turned in keys left a day early. Might have stayed all three days if things were cleaned.
As I headed to my room.
I noticed pee on the floor which I had to walk around it.
Got in elevator there was graffiti on walls of elevator stains on floor in elevator. I was not going to let any of my bags touch the floors.
Hall floor all the way to my room dirty.
When entering my room the room smelled of smoke.
I had to go out and buy air freshener for room. My shower was dirty.
Corner of bathroom dirty. Rugs in living area dirty.
I felt uncomfortable even getting in bed to get sleep.
I did because , I was extremely tired being in town. My daughter was in hospital with being induced early due to complications.
So on top of stress there was added stress. I feel should not be a case when spending money to stay over a few day period.
At one point leaving the hotel.
I was extremely disturbed there was either a dog turd or a piece of sausage sitting on the steel edge in the elevator.
I looked away from it as I was on 2nd it was so incredibly disgusting. Furniture was stained.
I feel you should never have to experience a stay as this. I feel we should be refunded our money back.

The staff was friendly. The room was clean. Although it did have a water stain on the ceiling of the main room and the bathroom did not really appreciate that, but it was clean. The pool did not work. It was very very cold. The hot tub did not work. It was very very hot and then when we reported it, they did something and it was very, very cold. The workout center nothing worked. The treadmills did not work the elliptical did not work. The only choices we had was very limited. I feel there could've been much more and it could've been much better.

The pool is ice cold, broken plastic at the bottom, hot tub is bath tub warm, hallways are cold our room is not warming up, our in room refrigerator is covered in mold, the elevator has graffiti and smells of pot.
Not what we expected. Not excited and very let down.
If they would immediately refund me I’d be looking for other accommodation immediately..

The check-in was professional and helpful. The room was terrific. I messaged my wife that per dollar spent, this is the best hotel that I've stayed in all year! The cleanliness and the comfort, the amenities of coffee, fridge, set up of chair, desk, tv, bathroom shower supplies ~ it was terrific! As a coffee-lover, I really appreciated being able to make myself coffee even during hours when the kitchen was not open. I also truly appreciated the excellent breakfasts at Wyndham/AmericInn of St. Cloud, too! Highly recommend this hotel to all!

Check-in was the start, got put in a room stuffed with furniture storage so needed to get into another. The new rrom was vacuumed and sheets changed but that was the extent of cleaning. All tables and counters were simply wiped, leaving behind food, coffee spots and god only knows what in the bathroom. The bath sink, tub and floor were very dirty and had tons of black curly hairs everywhere. The toilet had paper and waste in it. I needed to clean before we could settle in. Ice machine was broke and halls had baskets of tools, & stuff everywhere. Pool area needs updating, hot tub was cool and jets don't work and pool felt like a hot tub. Picked because of drive & health i needed a hot tub to help. Was in town for a funeral so the option of putzing with changing rooms or even hotels (I would have) was not an option. I could not recommend nor would I consider staying here again. Honestly, reimbursment would be in order.

The good, the bad, the ugly. The bed was the good, or better yet the great! That mattress was so comfortable all the pain in my body left. The bad was the animal hair. Even though my room supposedly was a non-animal room, when I used the iron, there was a lot of animal hair transferred to my clothes. The ugly, oh boy, the food was a different kind of “don’t eat that”. I am familiar with hotel breakfast but I could just see the intestinal problems that food was going to cause. Another ugly was the ironing board had dried food on it like someone had used it as a table to eat on, gross. The bathroom was small but I can get past that. Overall the room wasn’t the newest or most updated. I am picky and bougie so I would not normally ever go back to a hotel like this. The ONLY thing that will get me back (potentially) is the mattress. When I tell you all the pain in my body disappeared (and I take meds for the pain) I am telling you, it was heaven. So much so that my daughter and I chose to stay in the beds and chill rather than go sight-seeing. The beds redeem the rest of the mess this hotel is. If you can look past the rest of it the I recommend this budget friendly hotel. As for me, I will be looking at the more upscale version of the Wyndham Resorts.

Not sure how it is Wyndham affiliated! The lighting was terrible. Dark room and dull lighting over the sink. The wind howled through the window all damn night, that was not conducive to a good nights sleep. By the time we got to breakfast, all the hot food was gone. We waited 30 minutes to get warm (uncooked) meat, and eggs.

With weekly trips to this area the next 4 months, we’ll never stay here again!

They put a new chair in my room during my stay. The chair is way too big for the space and would not allow me to get into the bed on the left side without running into it. I re arranged the room so that when I got up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom, I would not run into it. The staff was fine. I just really question why they would choose to update furniture with something that does not fit!

The lady at the front desk was pleasant and friendly but had a lot of trouble with her computer when dealing with our reservation. Despite the hotel having several floors, there was only one ice machine (first floor) which was out of order. :( The pillows on the bed smelled strongly of cigarette smoke. I don't know if they had been washed or not, but ICK! The breakfast was good!

The hotel has a strong cleaner smell that seems to cover an old smoking-room odor. Carpets and bathrooms are dated and could be cleaner. The beds are comfortable with good pillows, though the overall atmosphere isn’t very relaxing. Staff are friendly, and recent updates like fresh paint and new trim are noticeable, but more extensive improvements would help.

The toilet barely flushed, the hot water lever was broken - so we couldn't get hot water. The ice machine was broken, one treadmill was broken and the other needed service because is squeaked so loud, there was water all over the floor from the broken ice machine, the elevator seemed like it would get stuck and the beds were sloped in from too much use. Overall it was very unpleasant.

The manager told me well….It’s not broken…it’s hot water…. Seriously!
Definition of a hot tub is hot, aerated water!!! literally booked a place to sit in a hot tube for my bad back… next time I’ll definitely be going to the Holiday Inn!

When we went to check in, we were told that we didn't have a reservation at this AmericInn. We then traveled the 6 miles to the other Americinn only to be told that we we didn't have a reservation at that hotel. We then called the first one and were told we did have a reservation so had to travel back. The hotel needed some updating but overall was a decent place to stay.

Internet was miss leading. Room was dirty and when asked for cleaning supplies to clean ourselves. Desk he didn’t any and wait for day cleaners. Over could move to another room. We felt if our was not cleaned why move to another dirty room. So my husband went out and bought cleaning supplies. Next day when I went back to the room the cleaning lady was surprised that I want her to go and clean. When we returned she had not even vacuumed. The crumbs that we found when we walked in the night we got there was still there. We left the room cleaner than when we found it. We will never use that hotel again. Horrible experienced

Not a very nice run hotel. Had to wait to check in, even though we did it online. Got in our room and noticed crumbs under the bed. Must not of cleaned to well. The digital clock on the nite stand was full of dust. Funny odor in the hall ways too. Just didn’t feel clean. No Kleenex in the room either? I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. Checked in online thinking it would save time, but when we got there, had to do the process all over. Very limited parking, after the concert, lot was full and had to park in the business lot next door, hoping we didn't get towed. Breakfast was edible at best, watery eggs, sausages were grey and only 4 left and only a few pieces of bacon left. They had no intention of refilling. Our carpet had a huge wet spot in front of the fridge, had to make sure we had shoes on.

Room smelled musty, was clean though. Toliet overflowed at 6 am, they gave us another room to change to, asked for a discount but since was booked thru Expedia- told that have to go thru them. Frustrating experience.
