We stayed for three nights, when we arrived there was blood and stains on our bedding as well as no blankets on one of the beds. Our room was never cleaned and linens were never changed. The power also went out twice and took hours to come back on this was an issue for us given the fact our son is on an oxygen machine that cannot run very long without being plugged in as well as another machine that needs plugged in 24/7. Our stay was quite unenjoyable and we will not be staying here again.

Our room was definitely not as clean as it should have been… we arrived very late (after an 18 hour drive…), and we didn’t have the energy to mess around with things once we arrived…

I had to clean a few things first, before we actually slept. The fitted sheet was inside out (small error but still), the sink faucet was leaking quite a lot, the toilet had a poo mark in it, the shower was SUPER slow to drain, and there were ants in the bathroom (toilet/shower room).. and the floors felt wet the entire time..

Also anytime the people above us used any water, it made very loud noises in our room…

Hot Tub was out of commission during the time of our stay, and we had the jacuzzi in our room, but with the cleanliness of our room upon arrival, we weren’t willing to use it at all.

The breakfast bar was sub par most days to be honest, the hashbowns were almost “raw” every day, milk was expired most days.

Upon checking in, I was told there was an additional $50 fee as a Justin case damages, but it was gonna be refunded the day I checked out
I checked into the room it smelled like mold and mildew, to the front desk about changing the rooms and I was told there was nothing available, and all they gave me was a spray, dresser drawers wer we’re pulled open when I walked in. I shut them and they opened up by themselves. (It might be haunted.)
The showerhead sprayed in every direction, even the out onto the floor bathroom door smelled like mold and mildew furniture inside the room was outdated and was pretty beat up

The room was clean, however the little fridge was outdated, too small for a suite and my food was frozen overnight. The little freezer part had no door anymore and needed to be defrosted. I liked the blackout rolldown blind however without curtains to accompany light flooded in around the edges making enough light to wake me up in the early morning. The outside of the property was poorly maintained and the back door closest to my room did not lock all the time as stated on the door, making it easy for unauthorized people to get into the hotel at whatever hour they chose. The stay was average at best. The hot tub was out of order, and they didn't let outside visitor's (my grandkids) come and use the pool while visiting. I will not stay here again.

Very clean & you could tell they are trying to upgrade with freshly painted walls. But apparently they moved things attached to the walls, so there were holes in the walls where Molly's were removed. They needed spackling & painting over the sparkle. We were greeted with the Hot Tub doesn't work right now & the internet is down (no TV) so can't finish check in. But later in the evening the internet was up again & we finished check-in. Very nice desk.desk.agent.

This place is under new owners and management so they are working to make improvements. I would suggest the first improvement should be to clearly mark the location of the lobby and make sure it is operating 24/7. Signs on the lobby desk telling customers to call the operator for service are inappropriate and very tacky. Lots of improvements are needed. This place is kind of threadbare and needs some TLC inside and out.

It is obvious the Ownership is in the middle of a refresh, or at least it seems to be. However, the contractors who got the deal must be the low bidders. The painting detail is horrendous, it looks like it is being done by 2nd graders. Also the HVAC unit does not work correctly , any setting over 66 degrees is stifling hot. Why is there two remotes for the TV? Also, they locked us out of the room before we checked out! The mounting for the hairdryer on the wall is broken. When we checked it, the desk clerk said the pool and hot tub might get closed because of a pump leak, maybe, fortunately it never happened. The room lights are a joke and in need of repair.

Overall it was a great stay, with the pool open till midnight and waffles in the morning! But the hot tub was not hot and smelled a bit strange. The pool was very large and a nice temp. Everything was clean and it was a quick checkin. I used Expedia and found a good price compared to other hotels in St Cloud. Was surprised that 3 messages came from the property before my stay welcoming me and reminding me of the stay but it was nice to be contacted confirming.

The hot tub was cold & overflowing. The pool floor drains were completely clogged leaving huge puddles all over in pool area. Room had glass chipped tile next to tub that cut my sons foot when he got out & accidentally brushed it. One staff member was extremely rude & acted as if I was an inconvenience when I requesting bedding for the pull out couch bed that had nothing in the room for it. For $160 staying the weekend was very disappointing for spending over $320. We will not be staying here again.

The Bad:sink was plugged so hard to run the water, there was no shade, so when sun was up, you were up,rooms not very updated and dirty. The heat was very inconsistent, turned heat down to 62 at night and could not get it to stop kicking on, was too hot to sleep well. Paid 115 on a week night for king bed room.
The good:breakfast was pretty good, quiet hotel as it is small, bed was decently comfortable.

We stayed for two nights and weren't able to take a shower because our room had no hot water, and when we asked about it, we were offered to trade rooms, but the room offered smelt like someone had been doing some kind of drugs in it and had an air purifier on the ground. Travelled through huge snow storm on Dec 28th. Female night staff super friendly and easy check in. Morning man (not sure if owner) not friendly at all. On phone watching videos in the dining area even when I walked up to the desk. During check out was more concerned about where room key was and wouldn’t give receipt until he got key and asking more questions about night staff because they hadn’t charged for pet fee yet and didn’t have credit card. Like was trying to get her in trouble. Told him the night staff was great and compassionate after we travelled 14 hours in snow storm.l arriving after 9pm. Told him we didn’t want her getting into trouble for not taking payment for the pet that night and told him multiple times to just take our payment. By the end of it all (talking down to us) he ended up not charging for the pet. Won’t be recommending.

It started when we checked in, he could not find our reservation when I had it pulled up on my phone. He kept asking if I had the right day even after showing him my reservation email. He had my ID and still couldn’t figure out what name to type into the computer.

Finally found my reservation, we got into our room, not long after, the person behind us when we were checking in was coming into our room with a key. They had given keys to 2 different people at the exact same time for the same room.

We then left and came back later and the hallway smelled horribly of weed.

Their hot tub was also not working. With it being winter it would have been nice to have it working.

We will not be staying with them again.

My husband and I stayed for 5 nights. Overall, it was adequate but there were things that could have used improving.

PARKING: On arriving, there was road construction work preventing us from entrance to the parking lot and no indication of a detour

POOL: The Pool/Hot Tub were closed all week

ROOM SECURITY: Our room keys stopped working after the 1st night, then again on the 2nd night. The property replaced all room door-lock mechanisms; this new hardware prevented inside security latch from working

BREAKFAST: For the entire stay, the House Blend breakfast coffee was THE WORST I have ever tasted. (The room coffee packets were better tasting!) Not enough staff watching when things run out; had to alert staff myself then wait as new coffee was brewed (no backups waiting)

ROOM CLEANING: Claim of room cleaning every 2 days for extended stays is wrong; apparently, that was suspended due to COVID. If you want the room cleaned, you have to tell them.

Front Desk person rude.Gave impression did’nt want anything to do with checking me in. Whistled at his relief person several times. Unprofessional! Reserved a handicapped room gave me a non handicapped room 2nd level. When I showed him my reservation said handicapped crabblily gave me a room downstairs. Not handicapped. When I returned to the front desk to point this out he handed me to the woman who he whistled at. She was much nicer and finally got me a handicapped room I reserved. I use to work at a hotel front desk and this was clearly the worst experience I ever had.

This is a very basic motel. It was mediocre in terms of cleanliness and overall ambience. The front desk woman was very nice. The refrigerator had an high-pitched squealing noise so we had to unplug it and then all of the bedside lamps and outlets stopped working while we were there.
The alternate entrance door had to be pulled tight to close and lock. Highway noise is notable.

Stayed there for three nights on a business trip. Hard to get to as the roads were closed off.
When I checked into my non-smoking room it reeked of cigarettes. Called front desk to tell them so they wouldn’t charge me for the smell and they came up and sprayed deodorizer. Night desk person was nice.
Carpet was in bad shape. The hot tub in the room has cigarette burn marks on the side of it. (I was too afraid to use that.)
The second night gave me two individuals yelling and arguing with each other just below my window until around 11:30 pm. They kept hitting their lock on their key fob making their car honk over and over again.
The front desk day guy could barely speak English and I had a very hard time trying to tell him about the incidents with the smoking smell and the people yelling the night before.
I’ll probably find another place to stay next time I’m in town.

Booked for moving child into college for Freshman year. Double checked on pool and hot tub before booking. Went to check in and sign says neither were in service. I also have an autistic child so pool was needed. Front desk did not even try to explain, just processed the payments and handed keys over. When I asked how long the pool area had been out of service I was told 4 weeks. I had booked within that 4 weeks and nobody said a word. Checked the website the day we were checking in and it still showed pool and hot tub operational. Manager not on duty at check in time of 3pm. Will never go back and have tarnished the entire name for me.

The parking and outside appearance of the AmericaInn was good. The motel facilities were out-of-date, the staff was minimal, the service was poor. The room had many problems: outlets did not work, window could not be opened (sign that said window would fall out), towels were ragged. One young lady did all the work (desk, room cleaning, breakfast service), the manager did nothing to assist. Your service would not let me cancel.

Room was very dirty, I had to ask for Clorox wipes, as soon as we walked in the room, I could see the wooden headboard was disgustingly dirty! I cleaned the headboard! Fridge was so dirty, I could smell cigarette smoke all night in our room😡

Disappointed to find pool and hot tub were under repair. Our room did not look like those pictured online. Was incredibly humid as well, bathroom had a leak by the bathtub and previous guests belongings left in fridge. Public bathroom in hallway had a horrible smell.
