Good location and facilities. Only negative point was the queue for dinner every evening. We decided to have dinner at 8.30pm to avoid the initial rush. Other than that, a good base for skiing, close to the gondola.

This is how Hotel.com advertises Hotel Massana Magic
La Massana ski-in/ski-out hotel with ski storage and ski passes.
There is no ski-in/ski-out facility at this hotel. It is in-fact about 500 along meters along a main road from the foot of the gondola lift. Thus making ski-in/ski-out impossible. This advertised ski-in/out facility was major reason for booking this hotel, as was the advertised ski passes. This gives you the impression that ski passes are included in the room rate. Again this wrong. Ski passes are paid for extra at the gondola station.
Ski storage is an inconvenient 2 floors down in the garage.
Reception negated to inform us that there is ski and boot storage at the bottom of the gondola at an extra charge, which would have made a big difference not having to drag the ski equipment to and from the end of the day.
The hotel was warm and clean. The staff were pleasant and the breakfast was good.
The rooms look better in the pictures if you like beige and brown throughout. My stay was comfortable; would I stay at this hotel again or recommend for a ski-ing holiday? The answer is an emphatic no. I deliberately booked this hotel for non existing facilities. If there was such a thing in Andorra, the hotel company should be prosecuted under a breach of trades description.

Reception negated to inform us that there is ski and boot storage at the bottom of the gondola at an extra charge, which would have made a big difference not having to drag the ski equipment to and from the end of the day.
The hotel was warm and clean. The staff were pleasant and the breakfast was good.
The rooms look better in the pictures if you like beige and brown throughout. My stay was comfortable; would I stay at this hotel again or recommend for a ski-ing holiday? The answer is an emphatic no. I deliberately booked this hotel for non existing facilities. If there was such a thing in Andorra, the hotel company should be prosecuted under a breach of trades description.

No air conditioning. 2 twin beds on casters. Can't sit up in bed without it shooting across floor. No ventilation in room without opening up huge storm window that lets in all the traffic noise from the street below. No microwave for making tea or coffee. No parking, and I mean NO parking. Cheap, tiny soaps in lav. I bring my own so not a big deal but still. This same place in the US would be a 3 star. Nice wood paneling and a great breakfast buffet don't make up for uncomfortable and expensive rooms. How this place calls itself a 4 star is beyond me.

we stayed 2 nights as were canyoning close by. Staff are friendly and efficient and Dimitri helped me book canyoning and gave me lots of info on the area and was really helpful. Rooms are tired for a 4 star and beds are really hard and we were on the front of the hotel and had to keep the window open as the weather was so hot and it was really noisy with traffic all night. I would recommend you stay at the back of the hotel in summer.

Es gibt ein Unkleide(Bunker), eine Plastik Dusche und die Nutzung der Sauna kostet 10€ extra pro Person (im Kleingedruckten aus Seite 2 vermerkt) - dazu noch die Pflicht eine Badekappe IN DER SAUNA ZU TRAGEN, diese kann gekauft werden - und die obligatorischen badeschuhe (kein Eintritt ohne) können auch gekauft werden. Otras veces tuvimos habitaciones más cómodas, en esta ocasión nos pusieron en la sexta planta, olor a humedad muy fuerte, a cloro de agua, las toallas no las cambiaron del cliente anterior y había dos sucias, me limité a dejarlas en el suelo para poner los pies, en general ya que solo fue 1 noche y media estancia, no reclamé, pero el sentimiento de comodidad por ser fin de temporada ha bajado

It offers a great location with very kind and good staff. Parking is only available at the hotel when there is space underground. Otherwise only quite expensive paid parking in garages is available in the whole city. Hotel is not the newest, but has great value for money though. Would come again.

A pesar de tener Aire acondicionado en las habitaciones, supongo que lo para a cierta hora y por la noche es insoportable el calor. Tampoco puedes abrir la ventana pues debajo tienen el PUB del hotel que es vergonzoso que permitan grupos gritando y sin ningún respeto en la misma puerta del hotel.
Por otra parte portazos y gritos en los pasillos y nadie del hotel hace nada para pararlo. Grand hôtel. Difficile de se garer dans le parking très étroit. Les buffets du petit déjeuner et du finer sont corrects. Par contre surcout pour la piscine et obligation de tongs et de bonnet de bain (vendu sur place). Le personnel n'est pas désagréable mais n'est pas, à mon avis formé.

Mucha calor en las habitaciones. la habitación para 4 adultos muy justa, sofa cama incomodo y sin posibilidades de movimiento, el sofa abierto choca con la mesa escritorio. Desayuno abundante.
