Unfortunately, our stay was disappointing. The room had a strong unpleasant odor upon arrival, and the couches were visibly stained, which made the room feel unclean. The restroom was extremely small and not very comfortable to use. The doors throughout the property made loud noises whenever they opened or closed, which was disruptive.

The check-in experience could have been better as well. The receptionist did not provide complete instructions, and we did not feel welcomed with the warmth and hospitality we expected.

The one positive aspect of our stay was the breakfast, which was enjoyable and offered a good selection. I hope the hotel addresses these issues to improve the guest experience in the future.

Woke up at 2 am with a bad sewer smell coming out of the bathroom. The door was shut. We used wet towels to stop must of the smell. Moved to outer room and did the same thing with that door. When we checked out and told the morning desk person. He said sorry have a cookie. And that was all. We left not to happy. Worst hotel stay ever. You should expect more from Hilton

The Doubletree Hilton is in a good location. The property is in need of updating. The elevator at the property is clunky and hasn't been inspected for years. The tub and sink in the room were clogged. There were broken railings near the pool. The staff at this location were great. They were all very helpful! The breakfast is very good and staff were excellent.

The pool and hot tub was relaxing and enjoyable. The free breakfast was good with hot food and fresh fruit. So for one day it was very good, for multiple days it could of had more variety.
The room: bed was comfortable, bathroom was dirty and not well maintained and very small. The carpet was falling apart and the sliding door would not close completely. The AC worked well and the room comfortable.

Rooms are dated, carpets do not look like they have been cleaned in few years or longer. Mini fridge was leaking water onto the carpet. Musty smell in the probably from the water leak. Restaurant food does not match the prices, especially with so many other restaurants near by. Wings are advertised as 1lb for the price, maybe half a lb was serverd. Also out of over half of the menu items. Breakfast was decent and filling, but not very many options. Pool was clean and nice, but jacuzzi jets do not work. Also, employees said guest needed a wrist band, but this was not enforced.

Personally, I have stayed at other Double Trees and this was not to any of the standards. Very sad they do not take care of this property better. Especially with the location.

First room we were assigned smelled like literal death. We actually checked the closet for a dead body. Front desk sent a handyman (Tyler -was very polite) who brought a little machine to pump a gross air freshener into the room that he called \"a housekeeping toy for some of the mustier rooms...\" That upset my daughter's asthma so we requested a room change. Only other room available was a King Suite, which meant one less bed than the room we paid for. Because the first room was so awful we didn't have a choice but definitely feel like a discount should have been offered as we now had to configure sleeping arrangements with one less Queen bed. The pool on Friday night was so packed that you couldn't even fit in the jacuzzi area. There were 2 traveling ball teams and they were so loud with different speakers and were yelling and roughhousing. We were scared one of our young kids would get hurt so we eneded up going back to the room. No one from the hotel was monitoring the fact that there were obviously more people in the hotub than should have been for safety purposes and no one came out to tell the other guests to turn down their music (with profanity--this was at like 7pm mind you, not super late night) or to tell them to stop running and diving into the pool (which clearly had many no diving signs posted). The breakfast on Saturday and Sunday was fine. The staff was nice and the food was adequate but identical each day. ICE agents EVERYWHERE! Lots of unmarked vans in lot.

We couldn’t find any carts and I asked for help they would tell us to go point to go over to the corner of the hotel and get it ourselves when we don’t know the grounds I found it kinda inconvenient

The carpet was badly stained, the bathroom door was ratty on the bottom 4 inches,(on both sides), there was not hot water in the shower only warm water, the bathroom tile was stained, the TV was buffering every 2-5 minutes, making it impossible to watch any program.
However the staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was yummy.

The suite was large--my family loved that! I'm not sure if it was the decor or what but the room did seem a little dingy. Other than that it was clean. I wiped down a few handles and surfaces with a Clorox wipe and it came back clean, so that was a pleasant surprise. The tub had some rust and other spots we didn't like. The breakfast in the morning was hearty, hot, and tasted good.

No elevator on the parking lot side, had to carry our heavy bags over stairs. The rooms are outdated, the bed is a little noisy while moving. Something actually nice is you get a very tasty cookie while checking in. Very friendly staff, and spacious suite.

Great location. Walkable to Starbucks, grocery and restaurants. Only 15min drive from the airport. This is basically an outdated motel. but the staff was excellent. The breakfast was standard, not horrible not exciting. Room rate was good, includes refrigerator and microwave and living room. The rooms face the pool so it can be loud.

The use of printer and computers for guests was a nice touch.

The staff were helpful.

The room needed a little love, carpets stained and long curtains were very dusty. The beds were nice and comfy. Overall not bad.

We picked doubletree over hampton due to the cookies (for experience).
Not offered any at check in. When we asked about an hour later they said they were out of order probably until the next day. They did receive some later that evening. The same with checkout , told they had none but did later that day.

We would consider staying again at this location because of the breakfast experience and the pool/ hot tub.

I stayed at Double Tree for 8 nights last week, and I chose the place mainly for its competitive price and the availability of an in-room safe – something that was missing in nearby options. Overall, the experience was mixed: the space and basic functionality were positives, but maintenance and organization left much to be desired.The room was surprisingly spacious, with a separate living area and a proper bedroom, which provided comfort for relaxing. Despite the evident age of the property (which desperately needs an urgent renovation in walls, floors, and finishes), everything worked perfectly: air conditioning, TV, lights, and bathroom operated without issues, avoiding any major disruptions.However, cleanliness was the biggest disappointment. The bathroom, in particular, seemed poorly maintained, with rust stains on the toilet that indicate negligence in routine upkeep. This made me uncomfortable, especially since the hotel wasn't full – the staff could have prioritized rooms in better condition.Another issue was the room's location: they placed me right next to an ongoing plumbing construction site, with constant hammering and machine noises during the day. As the hotel had vacancies in other areas, this could have been easily avoided with a simple check or inquiry about preferences for quietness. Our stay on 09/27/25 was absolutely fantastic, we were greeted with freshly baked cookies upon check in, hotel staff down to breakfast staff and house keeping were very nice, rooms were clean, roomy, pillows and beds were comfortable, any need was met immediately. There is a $75 holding fee that was refunded immediately after check out. Swimming pool was sparkling clean hot tub was just the perfect temperature. Breakfast was a buffet style with the option to purchase different options. Overall our family of 5 were very impressed and will be back!

Just what we needed for a short stay.

We were in town visiting friends, so just needed a landing pad, a place to hang out to recharge when we needed a break from visiting, and a good shower. The pool looked great, even though we didn't have a chance to use it. Would love to have a voucher for a meal other than breakfast, as we are not big breakfast earers. Our room was clean and had everything we needed. The bed was not the most comfortable, but was fine for three nights. Would stay again.

The property outside was nice. The pool was sparkling clean & cool ( especially for August in Arizona). The rooms need to be remodeled. They are extremely outdated. We had issues with our ac unit to two rooms. We had to move twice because the ac units broke. We woke up in the middle of the night with no ac. They did give us points equivalent to 200$ for the inconvenience. That was a nice gesture although my nightly rate was 135$. I don’t think I can go back there. The staff was very nice though. The rooms need a better cleaning. I found a dead bug in one room.

This is not a doubletree. This hotel looked like a low housing apartment rental property. Every single thing about it poor. I mean you need a wristband to access the pool.. this only tells me people that live nearby come to use the pool. By the way, I have never seen a pool so crowded. Breakfast was blah for a Hilton. I was disgusted with this hotel. Definitely not a place to bring children.

First off the didn’t know where the cart for the luggage was at our room was at the 2nd floor and she said either way the cart wouldn’t go to the 2nd floor so we Carried all our luggage upstairs. Next my pillow had a hair on it. Then the shower was dirty you can tell they don’t scrub the shower floors all dirty I had my kids wear sandals when showering. The pool was dirty. Never staying here again.

Hotel seemed rather dated. From the front desk to the entry ways. Couple of homeless guys next to my car parking lot. The room was clean. Ice machines were far away and took a while to find. The whole layout of the hotel was rather quirky. But again, the room was clean. Shower worked fine ☺️

On entering the room the temp. read 84 degrees. I selected 80 on the thermostat with the fan on auto. The room temp continued to read 84. Called the desk with our complaint. Desk person said she would have maintenance look into it.After approx an hour no maint and no relief. Called the desk again and requested another room as this was unbearable. Desk arranged a meet with housekeeping mgr. at another room. Second room was definately cooler and mgr assured all worked well in the room. With my first use of the bathroom sink the water would not drain. Another call to the desk. When we returned after a few hours at a party ( the purpose of the trip) the desk person informed that the drain had been cleared and all the drains were working well. The room temp was now chili. Temp control was very poor, we were unable to maintain a reasonable temp without feeling cold. We checked out a day early the next morning as there were too many negatives to justify a continued stay.

We were somewhat disappointed with this place. It is old and I don't think there have been any updates since it was built. The grounds were pretty clean and the rooms were clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. Our particular room had a very bad smell. Like it was sprayed with something to cover up cigarette smoke or dog urine. The free breakfast wasn't bad and the gentleman who runs it was very nice and accommodating.
