Great location, around lots to do in walking distance. The room and hotel was very cute, however, this could have been a better experience. There was an annual festival happening the night we stayed and the hotel didn't bother to inform us until the day of. I confirmed parking when booking 3 months prior, but when we arrived, there was no direct parking due to the festival. It was also very loud until almost 2am and we didn't get much sleep. This could have been handled better and a heads up or some ear plugs would have been nice.

I recently stayed at your hotel in Spiez and wanted to share some feedback about my experience.

Firstly, I appreciated the cleanliness of the hotel and the warm welcome from your staff. However, I did notice a few areas that could be improved.

The room did not have air conditioning, nor was there a minibar, which I found a bit inconvenient. Additionally, I felt that the pricing was quite high for the services provided. The breakfast was also underwhelming, with limited variety and quantity.

We had a nice time in Spiez. The apartment is spacious, bright, and clean. We did have a few issues: on checkin we were told we could decide in the morning about opting in to the hotel guest breakfast package or ordering a la carte, but in the morning we were told that was not an option. We had no soap in either shower even after asking. There were no dark curtains or shades so the rooms were incredible bright very early. One of the beds didn’t have pillows or duvet but we worked it out by moving them from another bed. We had an issue with a bathroom door that didn’t work properly and had a key so my son got locked in for a bit which was unsettling but he figured it out. Overall the staff did not make us feel valued or important, but we appreciated the space and the location.

There was a little confusion about checking in. We arrive late and the staff already left for the date. Our Apartment was in the separate building away from the main building. There was no elevator in that building. The staff was nice enough to come back and carry the suitcase for us since we live on the top floor of the building with no elevator. The room is huge and clean.

The hotel itself was excellent.
It gave us amazing scenary from the hotel, within walking distance to the lake.

The only but big problem was when checking in.
I arrived shortly after 6pm, and the reception, entrance door was closed.

The note at the door sent they have sent a password to me by email, to unlock the entrance door.

However, I have not received it and needed to call the number indicated in the note to get a guidance on how to unlock.

It was stressful and as I am from outside EU, it cost me not a cheap amount as it was an international telephone call.

The lady working there was very busy, but still very welcoming and friendly, she gave me a free drink on arrival and offered me a bottle of water on departure, and the room was cosy and comfortable. And the view from the balcony really was incredible - they're not lying when they say they have the best view in Spiez!

I was disappointed in this hotel. The staff was grumpy and forgot a couple of requests. I booked 3 days, but the room very hot without air conditioning even with the windows open. It was very small and loud so I ended up changing hotels midway through my stay. For some, if you need an inexpensive option for a night, this might be fine, but I wasn't really impressed personally.

Nice hotel. Conveniently located.
The spaces were very clean. Within walking distance you will find many good dining options.
Breakfast was ok, but nothing exceptional. As a guest you will receive access pass to a fitness facility located in a building a couple of meters down the road. The staff was friendly.

Fantastic stay at Hotel La Belle Vue

Hotel La Belle Vue is so lovely. The service I have received from Andrea and Lucia has been outstanding! I also received information about hikes in the area from Noa, which has been very helpful. I had lunch in the restaurant, and the food was delicious. Everyone is very attentive, and I can’t say enough about the entire staff: Andra, Lucia, Noa n Jon make it a very welcoming atmosphere.

Lovely hotel in Spietz!

La Bellevue is such a lovely hotel. I arrived yesterday and was warmly greeted by Lucia and Andrea. They both were extremely helpful, and their customer service is truly outstanding. Andrea made dinner reservations for me, and the food was amazing. The view from the hotel is lovely, and they have a rooftop bar. Lucia brought me a welcome drink. I am so happy at this lovely hotel.

Very nice design boutique hotel with nice breakfast, walking distance to the train station. My only dislike is the sound proofing as the customer above my floor was walking about all the way till 1am and again by 7am. Because of the wooden flooring one can hear the aound clearly. Should carpet it to reduce the sound.

The view here is unbeatable and we really enjoyed the breakfast. It was so convenient to order breakfast at the cafe downstairs and have it brought to us on the patio or their beautiful dining area. Some things we wished were different—we were here in mid August and it was so hot and there is no AC. I read another review that someone asked for a fan so we didn’t do that until the third night. Since we had to open the windows for any air flow, a lot of bugs flew in. It was a bit loud due to the open windows, we were on the street side and sometimes you can hear people walking by and talking loudly. It seemed like whoever was staying above us were chatting on their balcony til late in the night. We would probably stay again but wished we had asked for a fan sooner but if they had AC, it would make a world of difference since we could then close windows and not be woken by the outside noise.

What a gem!

We stayed four nights here and loved every minute. It is a short walk downhill from the train station, located just off the main street of the town, so it's lovely and quiet. It's close to Migros and Coop as well as restaurants.

We were warmly welcomed upon check in, our room was ready early, but we were encouraged to take our time and enjoy our complimentary local wine.

The rooms are well appointed, no air con though, and a coffee maker, kettle and bar fridge are on each floor for your use.

The rear of the hotel has spectacular views to Lake Thun and the castle.

Breakfast is amazing: Berry smoothie or apple juice, yoghurt with fresh fruit, granola and mixed berries, lovely fresh breads or croissants with jamon and a different cheese each day, tea, coffee or hot chocolate.

The snacks and lunch menus are quite innovative too. It is truly a delightful place and the staff is amazing.

Great location for the property with the train station connecting to Interlaken, Bern and Thun. The town of Spiez is incredibly beautiful too. Ferry port just a few minutes walk away as well with a picturesque cruise over lake Thun. As for the hotel, the staff were incredibly helpful and welcoming, with advice on sights to experience in the area. Very nice clean rooms too, also love that the bottles of water at the end of the hall was free to people staying. Price for this time of year considering the location was reasonable too, I would definitely recommend to anybody think to stay here

Highly recommending!

Everything about the hotel was amazing!
Free water provided by the restaurant, free coffee by nespresso machine and tea available. We got lucky and even got some free croisant and sweet in the evening that were left by the hotel staff for no food waste. All the staffs were friendly and helpful. 5-10 mins walk from the train station, great location if you want to catch train to Zermatt, Interlaken, or to Milano. Spiez is a beautiful small town that's quiet, not touristy. I found Interlaken too much touristy... you can't experience local.
*The only disappointment about this hotel is that there was no air condotioner which we didn't need because we travelled in June and cool air from the window was enough*

A 10/10 place to stay in Spiez. We had the panorama double room and was perfect. You’ll be able to walk down to all of the attractions by the lake in minutes while taking in the breathtaking scenery. This is quite a „catch“ in the tourist town of Spiez!
The staff reached out to us in a friendly manner.
It also made us realize how much better Hotel Sonne in Schwarzenburg COULD be!

the room wasn't very clean and the bathroom was moldy. I booked the panoramic double room and my room was on the first floor with a terrace that was actually directly connected to the main public terrace of the hotel so i had people on my terrace next to the windows of my rooms every day. the room didn't have any privacy. I also had to keep the blinds shut at all times despite the beautiful views because anyone could access the terrace and see inside my room. so I booked a room with a view for nothing.

Disappointing as I overlooked that there’s no fridge and kettle in the room. Room is small. We have to walk out of the room to the corridor to use the kettle. The filter water at the corridor was not topped up within the day though we can bring down to cafe to have it filled up during cafe operating hours. Kettle is also very dirty with what I believed is limestones or calcium from the hundreds times of boiling. You can see the residue floating on the water in the kettle. Hot should ensure it’s cleaned or changed periodically. I had to wash it myself so that we can boil and drink clean water. We booked for 2A2C but only 3pairs of slippers provided. Beds were not very clean. But the rest of the daily housekeeping is satisfactory. Room has a nice view of the lake but was uncomfortable as the family room we booked opens balcony to a shared terrace where anyone else can actually access. Paid CHF338/night which I feel is abit pricey for the amenities provided.
But receptionist Deborah is nice and polite. We dined at the hotel for dinner and food is exceptional good! Staff (a man whom we mistook as the chef) who served us was friendly and attentive too! Worth a try! Dinner only available from Thurs-Sat. Hence, the staff and view of the hotel makes it an overall pleasant stay.

Pro: The view from this hotel is stunning!! The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. We really appreciated a bottle of water waiting for us. It was a quick ~5 min walk from the train station (keep in mind there is a steep hill). Also, the breakfast in the restaurant was amazing.

Con: We did not realize the elevator would not be working, so we carried luggage up 3 flights. The check-in instructions were also unclear. We arrived around 9pm, but the desk/restaurant were closed and we did not receive a code to open the door. Luckily, another guest happened to walk into the hotel and let us in, where our keys were waiting for us in an envelope.

Pristine rooms and wonderful beds with fine linen. This was a great discovery. And breakfast is to die for, we made our own selection from the beautifully presented and fresh selection. The staff were lovely, friendly and professional. The Boutique Hotel is situated off the main thoroughfare but within easy walking distance from the lakeside or the station. Ideal base to discover the Lake Thun or even Brienzersee area.

It was a lovely boutique hotel. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The cafe had delicious food - salad, breakfast, coffee. The hotel had a lovely view from the dining area and the outdoor lounge. We liked that it was centrally located, close to the train station and the boat station. It was also comfortable, clean and has the essential amenities. The only thing that could be better would be the pillows, which were a little flat. We would return again.

I think it is a hotel with a nice atmosphere and good hospitality.
Upon arrival, they offered us welcome drinks. I was grateful and it
was delicious since I was thirsty. There is also a bottle of filtered
drinking water in the room. Moreover, there is a shared kettle and
espresso machine in the hallway. It is nice to be able to drink coffee
or tea freely.
The room is spacious and the bed is large. There is also a shared
terrace where you can eat and drink what you bring with you.
The rooms are not air-conditioned, so it is a little difficult to sleep on hot days. If you sleep with the windows open, insects will enter the room, and security is also a concern.
However, enjoying the inconveniences of travel should
also be part of the experience. As for the daytime, opening the
windows allows a breeze to come in, keeping the room cool. The large
windows that can open are a pleasant feature.
One disappointment regarding room cleaning was that the drain in the shower room was not adequately cleaned, so the next day the water drain was clogged and the water did not drain.
At checkout, they gave us bottles of drink water. Overall, it was a
hotel with a pleasant atmosphere, friendly and kind staff. The front
desk staff were approachable.

Schöne Zimmer aber nur mittelmässiges Frühstück.

Das Zimmer war sehr nett und hübsch aber etwas hellhörig nach draussen. Das Frühstück war zu knapp und nicht nach unserer Vorliebe: Wir wollten eigentlich nicht fast nur Kohlenhydrate essen. Wir hätten uns mehr Fleisch, Milchprodukte, Eier und Gemüse gewünscht. Davon gab es nur Spuren. Das Frühstück basiert auf einem Brotkorb und Müesli. Mag den Geschmack von manchen treffen. Für uns war es etwas enttäuschend.

처음에 도착하자마자 웰컴드링크를 주심. 살짝 추운날이었는데 따뜻한 커피가 맛있었다. 조식은 평균 22프랑 정도로 가격대가 있지만 깔끔하고 맛있음. 가끔 1층 계단참에 카페에서 남은 빵을 무료로 두어서 유용하게 먹었음. 체크아웃할때도 물을 서비스로 주심

에어컨이 없다고 들어서 걱정했는데 8.18-22 숙박하기에 괜찮았음. 냉장고가 없어서 아쉬웠지만 층에 공용냉장고가 있음.

역에서 도보로 10분도 안걸리는듯. 경사도 체크아웃날 캐리어 밀며 올라갈만 했습니다

타 숙소보다 넓고 수납선반도 많아서 편하게 지냈음,(매트리스는 좀많이 푹신함) 깔끔한 화장실, 넓은테라스의 인상적인 뷰, 매우 친절한 직원들 덕분에 슈피츠에서 좋은기억 남기고 갑니다.
