Very convenient location for Trade Centre. Check in was a bit chaotic and for those who travelled far check in at 3 is a long time. No where in morning to get a tea or coffee and stock in room was low. Had 4 coat hangers which is crazy for 2 people 4 night stay but they did give us more. Rooms clean but small

Travelling from Canada, this hotel was an easy choice. Location is lovely, very convenient. And very safe. Was there for business, and most of the meetings were walking distance. Very nice to avoid the busy traffic. Room was clean, good size, loved they replenished the big glass water bottles daily. Vibrant, even around midnight. If you forgot anything (I needed the charger adapter) there's a convenient store in the lobby. Loved it!

The hotel is kind of expensive and the insulation between the rooms and the corridors is very bad, even when you are sleeping or at the end of the day, you can hear everything in the opposite room and the corridor, otherwise everything was good

My earpods disappeared from my room so I will defintiely suggest you to keep valuable things in the designated case as they might just go as it happened to me. The wifi was also weak. I was not super happy overall.

It goes without saying that the Ibis One Central is very well located - and I'll start with additional positives - that the staff is friendly and try to be accommodating, and the breakfast was good and good value.

BUT - the rooms are getting old, the shower tray and sink would not drain, the kettle leaked, there was nowhere to put a suitcase when using it aside from the bed, there are no modern power facilities in reach of the bed, the TV is tiny etc.

One other peeve - you can use the swimming pool at the Novotel (5 mins walk) but you can only use the gym in the Ibis - so if you want to workout and swim in one session you're out of luck.

Overall I feel this hotel was at least double the price of its value on the nights that there was a conference at the World Trade Center and 150% the other nights. Relatively simple fixes to bring it back up to par but I think it's probably busy enough not to have to bother. I'll be going elsewhere whenever possible though.

The room was smelling bad. I am not sure if they are cleaning the room well. I had my reservation with breakfast included but they said it is not included in their system. I have checked my reservation again. I talked to them and I said it has to be breakfast icluded again. They said they will double check and inform me. Noone informed me even though I asked them.

This is a luxury 3 star hotel. Breakfast per person was about $19-20 if purchased at reception. Rooms are small. Upscale area with access to metro and 10 mins drive to airport. Food in the area is a bit expensive since it is at World Trade Center.

I’ve regularly chosen ibis One Central for my GITEX visits, relying on its consistency and convenience. Regrettably, this year’s stay was the most disappointing I’ve experienced.

From the outset, the hotel appeared overwhelmed and poorly managed. A long queue at check-in signalled trouble, and things only worsened. Maintenance work—loud and disruptive—persisted from the afternoon until nearly midnight (11:45 p.m.). I enquired at the front desk at 6:30 p.m., 7:45 p.m., and again at 9:30 p.m., only to be told each time that the work was “almost done.” No resolution, no transparency.

To make matters worse, one staff member responded with visible disdain, rolling her eyes as though I were being unreasonable for raising concerns. That level of unprofessionalism is unacceptable, particularly during a major international event.

It’s disheartening to see a trusted brand falter when consistency matters most. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and implements meaningful improvements ahead of next year’s exhibition.

Upon our arrival at the hotel, we had to stand in line at the reception for a full hour before being checked in. Every day during our stay, there was constant drilling and renovation noise inside the hotel, which made it impossible either to work or to rest. This is especially disappointing, as the hotel presents itself as a business-oriented property.

Despite raising multiple complaints, I realized that no action would be taken, particularly after construction noise continued even as late as 22:30. Since my trip was short, instead of switching to another hotel, I decided it would be more practical to tolerate the inconvenience and complete my stay. I been travelled over 40 countries and this was my first time that management of hotel was so unprofessional and not customer oriented.

I am sharing this feedback so you are aware of the significant disruption caused to guests and in the hope that such issues are addressed for future visitors.

We have stayed many times at this hotel. It offers great value for money in the heat of Dubai, with easy access to metro and nearby shops and restaurants. This time, the room was not as well presented as usual, slippers and tissues were not present on arrival. However, a phone call rectified this. Coffee, extra tea bags, milk and water are all available by telephone request. As usual, we had a warm welcome and a comfortable stay.

When you go to a hotel you are there to experience relaxation. however, in this hotel they were using a jackhammer or other construction equipment directly above my room. When i went to thebfront desk they had a prepared handout to provide me that seemed to absolve them
of any responsibility regarding a noise issue in their own hotel. almost like, yes theres construction and lots of noise but thats mot our problem. also, the breakfast was 72 AED per day. theres a shuttle that goes to irrelevant places. however, it could easily drive you to the metro but it doesnt. I asked aboit any lnowledge of airport shuttles and they invited me to use a taxi for 200 AED.

The location is great, so close to a metro stop and with shops and restaurants close by. The taxi service was also very convenient. The room was comfortable, just what we have grown to expect from Ibis. This stay met all our expectations, and the welcome from reception staff was lovely. We appreciated the provision of filtered water and coffee on request, and the kettle in the room continues to be an essential requirement for us. Comfortable beds, clean and attractive public areas. All was fantastic. Thank you staff. We will definitely choose Ibis One Central for our stay next time we are in Dubai.

The hotel staff make this hotel stay even better - reception staff were so helpful and went the extra mile to assist. the shuttle buses to the beach make your stay even better so you save money for other things. Book a breakfast if you can so much choice and it was great and a good starter for the day- the Kitchen staff - chef was very accommodating! If you are on a budget but still want the comforts - this Ibis one Central is the go-to hotel!

The hotel is in a convenient location (nothing really walkable but within short uber ride) but the rooms must improve drastically. To start, my room smelled like cigarette, which I hated. The hairdryer is terrible; you burn your hand if you hold it for more than 5 minutes; I had to keep turning it off to cool down and turn it back on again. It a long time for me to dry my hair. The shower has 2 settings: burning hot or cold. Nothing in between. The WiFi was almost inexistent, so don’t plan to work while you’re there, otherwise you’ll be frustrated.
