Lovely staff, decent bed. Room wasn’t great. Lots of construction work happening which doesn’t make for restful sleep. I had to phone housekeeping for basics such as robe, body wash, shampoo. The showerglass was full of limescale and lots of mold amd damp walls in bathroom. Bit disappointing.

But lovely staff.

I rarely leave reviews, but this was worth warning others. The location is decent but not amazing, but that’s where the positives end.

The hotel is dated, poorly maintained, and extremely noisy. Room was unclean, smelled off, and clearly not refreshed properly before our arrival. Towels were worn thin, and the bathroom was far from what you’d expect in a hotel at this price. MOLD and MILDEW everywhere. Absolutely disgusting and I got sick off it.

The staff was unhelpful and disengaged, and even basic requests were met with shrugs. We had issues with AC, and nothing was done to address it despite multiple complaints. Yahya the duty manager specifically was the worst service I’ve seen at a hotel.

The hotel may look fine in pictures, but reality doesn’t match. Avoid if you want a relaxing or even passable stay. Spend your money elsewhere.

The Tower Plaza

The Tower Plaza Hotel in Dubai is really lovely hotel. It has the best location with the metro rail situated on the door step. The rooms are clean and newly renovated. The rooms are also very spacious. Everybody working here is kind and hospitable. I have to give a special mention to Aicha at the front desk. She is really top class. So kind and friendly and she provided me and my family with excellent service. Its because of people like her that hotels like The Tower plaza are 5 star. Thank you Aicha.

Just 1 small issue. Housekeeping needs to
improve. There were times i had no towels no water no tissue paper. However everything was great.

From the time I checked in the Hotel to my check out, I had a terrible experience. The staff member who checked me in was impolite, the room that was assigned was unclean, rusty and almost everything from the door handle, electrical connections to bathroom fixtures were broken. The breakfast setup was below average and the size of the restaurant was inadequate compared to the number of people walking in. None of the staff serving during breakfast cared to even ask for a cup of coffee - complete self-service. Out of the 5 days I stayed, I only attended breakfast the first day and that was it for me. Average wait time for elevators going up and down was around 10 minutes. Never staying here again.

I wanted to really like this hotel more a I had a lovely big room with comfortable bed. But a couple of issues were the fact there was never hot water for a shower. Just luke warm at best. Also, there are shops on the ground floor, and a couple of the sellers always pounced on your when you came out of the elevator which just made it unpleasant.

I recently stayed at this hotel for one night. Check in was smooth. While the hotel appeared slightly dated, my main concern stemmed from an incident regarding my identification. Upon checking out on , I confirmed with the staff that I had settled all charges. Later, at the airport, I discovered that the hotel had mistakenly held onto my ID without informing me. This caused significant panic and inconvenience as I wouldn't have been able to board my flight without it. When I contacted the hotel, they offered to deliver my ID to the airport, but required a 100 AED driver fee. Given the urgency of my situation, I reluctantly agreed to pay the fee to retrieve my ID and avoid missing my flight. This was very inconvenient, I understand mistakes can happen but they could have at least fixed their mistake

Not a 5 star hotel. Very dated rooms, poor check in experience. Breakfast is chaos, one coffee machine for hundreds of guests. Lifts could take 15 minutes to traverse. My room had two different sized beds pushed awkwardly together. The toilet area smelled bed. Mosquitos in the room, on the 55th floor!

A very underwhelming experience.

Myself and my wife visited Dubai for business / leisure purposes. We booked this hotel because it was close to the World Trade Centre, and had good gym and spa facilities.

Upon checking in we were advised that both the Gym and Spa were closed for refurbishment throughout the duration of our stay. This upset me, as I do enjoy some leisure time before starting work.

Very little in way of apology. Certainly no compensation offered.

When we arrived to the room, we noticed a Nespresso Machine, but no coffee pods. I called reception to ask for some pods to be brought to the room, only to be told they do not offer coffee pods.

The TV’s did not work. I did ask reception 5 times to fix the TV’s, however on the final day I managed to solve the issue myself.

On the first night we returned from work to find the room had not been made. I had to call reception and ask for house keeping to send someone up to replace the towels, water etc.

On a positive note; the bed was beautiful. Very comfortable. The housekeeping team were very friendly. The room was spacious and very clean. Nice hotel, but not the 5-star experience I expected in Dubai.

Overall a good stay, the only issue i had was the plumbing problem on the first night i was there but rectify and no issues after. The water pressure for the shower was slow and the warm takes some time to be warm. The tv wasnt in good condition too, the remote we got was broken too. Other than this, beautiful place to stay and convenient as its just opposite the metro station.

Rooms need makeover.

The Tower hotel is outdated, the carpet is very 80s and in terrible condition and the whole room reeks of smoke (I was in the smoker room).
The armchairs had stains on them and were very old fashioned. The whole room gave me a retirement home vibe.
The mattress was terribly soft and hurt my back.
Also the rooms are not soundproof I can hear the music and the loud cars from outside. I can also hear the guests above my room and those entering their own rooms in the nearby rooms.

I would never recommend this property to anyone. The room smelled and dirty. Asked staff to vacuum the stinky carpet and was never done during our 5 days stay.
We paid for breakfast and dinner for the entire stay, we tried it once and never went back.
Very cheap, never seen anything like this in Dubai before. Nothing to the Dubai standards, don't know how it rated 4 stars hotel.

I booked there for 2 nights with an intention to extend for an extra night. At around 16:00 of the second day, I came back to the hotel only to find the lobby super crowded with customers. It turns out, the electricity was cut off for the entire building! I decided to wait in the lobby for a while since elevators were not working, but I urgently needed my laptop for work (which was still in my room). Everytime I asked the staff, their only reply was: \"It will be fixed in 10 min maximum\" . After waiting for 2 hours, I had it with them. I asked them to get me my laptop from upstairs so I can attend my meetings... They said it will take around 45 min-1 hour.
To cut the long story short, I had to climb 35 STAIRS to reach my room, with no lightning, no ventilation, no security, disastrous conditions...
That's only a small part of my awful experience at the hotel: I came down to the lobby the next day to extend for 1 night. The guy gave me a price of 270 AED for the extra night. At first, I was shocked that he even dared to charge me after what happened, but then I realized that I booked the night before for 250 AED!!!
In short, they were charging me more instead of refunding my whole stay and appologizing for what happened.
But that's not all... I directly asked for a check out and explained to the front desk agent why this was probably the worst hotel experience I ever had.
I later received a call from the duty manager, apologizing for what happened and offering me a complimenta

Excellent experience at the Millennium Plaza Hotel! Great service, amazing staff, and spacious rooms. Everyone is friendly and very professional in their job. The hotel is across the street from the Metro station. The only problem I had was the WiFi. Every day I lost connection. The great staff tried to help but the router was old or defective . Since we had two rooms I used the WiFi there.

This was the worst hotel stay I have ever had. From start to finish the staff was completely disorganized, check in took forever, bringing our baggage took forever and then they forgot half of it! We had to run around looking for our suitcases. The wifi was not good enough for a zoom call and no ethernet could be provided. But all of this pales in comparison to the electrical issues. The \"smart lights\" in our room randomly began turning themselves on in the middle of the night, repeatedly waking us up. Rather than sending a manager and moving us immediately to a proper room they sent an engineer who proceeded to spend an hour experimenting with the relay panel. When finally given a replacement room they demanded we pack up and move everything at 2 in the morning. The replacement room was then noisy and smelled like cigarette smoke. A terrible night, a terrible experience. I would warn all my friends off this place.

Anywhere in Europe and probably also the rest of the world this would be max 3 stars hotel. Service is nice but they don’t know how to maintain a hotel up to a high standard. Room floor was never cleaned. We left dirty towels on the bathroom floor and they hanged them back?! Who does that?! I had to call housecleaning to explain that everything from the floor needs to be taken out and clean towels put in. It was quite and the location is good. Overall this is a cheap 5* hotel so you get what you paid for.

In general, the location is good and the facilities for business.
The client service of reception and restaurant are very good (10/10), but the housekeeping service is (1/10), very bad in all aspects. No information of the facilities available and the opening time, call 4 or 5 times to a simple request (every time), waiting so long (20 to 30 minutes) to obtain a request from a housekeeping, any request that required coordination between them never done: request every day to clean the room in morning hours from 09: to 13:00, never performed. They went between 18:00 and 19:00. Very bad housekeeping services.

I always stay at the Millenium Plaza when in Dubai.
The ease of the metro and surrounding restsurants is awsome but thats it. The hotel is getting old and its starting to show. My stay for 2020 was not as it used to be. The bathroom was dirty and. The basin was blocked. I also had to always ask for towels and toilet paper. The cuboards were broken and the carpets were old and dirty. Its ok i suppose for a 1 night stopover but definately not for a family vacation. There are better hotels out there.

I had a good time there.

I had a very good time there. The service was very good too. Breakfast was also good. Every staff is potite and helpful.
Only one thing i do not like, it is that the swimming pool is closed too early. I think you can start late in the morning but make it longer in the eveneing, maybe until 11:00 or 11:30

I've stayed here in the past and enjoyed my stay hence why i chose it again. I felt the staff on this occasion where very disappointing and unhelpful.Firstly when i arrived i had to large suitcases and no one helped me bring them in. Secondly, i never got the room i paid for and thirdly i received a call a 4am saying do i have a visitor staying?? Which was very confusing so i came down and asked for an explanation from.the desk person only to be told its the wrong room. Last but not least when i was checking out it took them an age to bring down my luggage. The whole stay was disappointing the new layout of the lobby area is all wrong its very confusing. Doubt i'll stay here again, it was a disappointing stay.
