Very convenient close to tourist attractions ( Burj Khalifa/Dubai Mall, Observatory Skyline, Fountain in Dubai Mall, Museum of the Future, rooms are huge with kitchenette, Accessible to Metro and Bus, cafes just outside the hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff. I highly recommended and will definitely come back

It was smelly - and furniture old - bed bugs
staff is not friendly at all - complains are not accepted so basically we anted to leave after the first day stay but hotel would not refund so we had to stay to not lose money

Worst hotel on Sheikh Zayed Road

We booked this hotel despite reading the mixed reviews . The location of the hotel
Is good but the staff does not know what service is . Despite the fact , we walked and drove in and out of the hotel more than 10 times a day , we were always questioned if we stay here . Staff is unprofessional, wifi doesn’t work, our room lost electricity. When our room lost electricity, we were told it’s normal , I was quite suprised , I’ve been to Dubai more than 5 times , I’ve never experienced anything like this , manager lied about the electricity going out like it’s a normal thing because he thought it was our first time in Dubai , there’s a reason why only this hotel is never sold out on Sheikh Zayed Road

Front desk personnel(male and female) were busy doing other things besides waiting on customers. Will not stay on this property again.

I have stayed at this hotel before and found it reasonably good. This time round there was not a single bottle of drinking water in the room or the fridge. A traveller coming in very later at night can hardly be expected to go out to buy water. The excuse given was that their restaurant was under renovation. That is an unacceptable reason. It would not cost the hotel to provide drinking water like other hotels and charge for it.

I have stayed at this hotel before and found that it was reasonably good. This time, I understand that they were remodelling their cafe area but that was no reason for there being not a single bottle of drinking water in the room or fridge. A traveller coming in late at night cannot be expected to go out and buy water. It would not cost the hotel much to provide at least a few bottles of drinking water like most others. Or at the very least provide a water dispenser on payment.

The reception staff are very nice and professional. Professionally overall the staff is great. However; The floors left my foot black with dirt. The mattress and bedding along with the towels need to be replace immediately. Television needs to be replace with a larger one and upgrade the satellite package to include more channels. The pressing iron needs to be replace. The WiFi connection was very poor. I went to the mall to get a better WiFi connection.

Most dirty hotel in Dubai

This was really horrible experience , the whole hotel is sooooo dirty with old rusty furniture . Electricity outlets are not working properly and dangerous !!! Bad smell in all toilets . Even the house keeping guys are smelling very bad lefting the room smelling like public dirty toilets rather than Clean !!

Bottom line this old dirty tower should close immediatly for complete renovation .
Nothing can be worse than this tower on sheikh zayed road !!

Over priced for the quality and service. Reception staff was uninterested mostly. Horrible WiFi. The bathrooms despite being clean used to stink so some problem with the plumbing maybe. In my room, the wall adjacent to it had a washroom behind it perhaps of the other room. During the night I could hear the water flowing and making noises through the pipes. The breakfast spread was adequate but was generally very congested and tables weren’t clean. Location was the best thing

The hotel location is really great it’s downtown close to everything and next to metro station but if u r expecting any sort of luxury this is not thw place.
Breakfast is really basic with small dining u will not find a table if u r not really early.
Rooms are not super clean but not a disaster also beds are really small and not comfortable.

The location of this appartments is good

The place was cleanless and doesnt represent a hotel it should be named as appartment not hotel! The bathroom was not clean and the water all over the ground !! Theres is hair also
They dont clean the room until i asked for the garbage also they dont take it, sraff was rude and dont want to help the wifi is misruble and its not a hotel at all.

Stayed here only because I wanted to be walking distance to Burj Khalifa for NYE countdown and to a metro station. The price I paid (S$300+ for 1 night) was expensive and not really worth it for the room but it was the cheapest closest I could get for 31 Dec night. Facilities were all available as an apartment and quite okay, just not worth S$300+ per night...

A TOTAL SCAM!!! WASTE OF MONEY!!

staff were unhelpful and miserable . The room was disgraceful full of dust, dirty sofa covers, curtains. So we decided to speak to the manager and we requested a total clean, manager started blaming us and in the end he put bathing amenities on the table as everything was alright. They didn't provide water, as other hotels do, they had snacks which was so expensive and could of bought from shop much cheaper they did this intentionally to make extra profit.Room service staff talk behind our back, wifi/ signal was appalling and had to re - type wifi details within half a day even though it was stated 24hr Lack of customer service and speed asked for wifi password during midnight despite phoning 2 times no answer. Breakfast was not at satisfactory level food was cold,quantity the layout of the dining was terrible and over crowded, not enough options to choose from, food gave us diarrhoea so we didn't eat for the remander of our stay. During checkout the staff were not friendly or enthusiastic whatsoever. I would never recommend to anyone. Worst hotel ever! 'Number one tower'??? MY FOOT!!!

Good location. Condition of property is tired looking. No coffee/tea available in room. Self contained kitchen - no dish cloth or washing up items/tea towel. Not enough bath towels for each guest in the booking. Hot water not hot but ok for shower with no cold added in. Floor was dirty -black feet if not in shoes. Internet connection not great - drops out regularly.

Cosy hotel with great staff who were very attentive. Great location but a lot of drivers unfamiliar with hotel. Hotel name is outdated compared with some of the other big modern names around. Rook facilities could have been improved. No microwave in a room advertised with kitchenette. Iron had to be changed twice as it wasn't working and charging A LOT of money for WIFI per person and per device. Well priced hotel and would definitely stay again but with some improvements. Credit to the staff though!!

During the check in, the recipient his name is Hisham or Mahdi both from eygept, one of them game me hard time. I booked for two rooms, hone room for me and the the wife n the other room for my two children. The recipient told me that I booked each room for for one person hence I have to pay additional charges. I checked with expedia and an other Indian recipient confirmed that I shouldn't pay additional charges since the rate applies the same for 1 or 2 persons since I booked without breakfast. He finally agreed to allow me in with no charges after he called his manager.

The apartment was good value for money. Stayed in a 3 bedroom apartment which was spacious and clean. Bedrooms and bathrooms were well done.

The WiFi speed and service was poor and the sofa fabrics had stains. While there definitely had been an attempt at cleaning them, remnants of the stains were still visible.

There was no complimentary water or tea making stuff kept in the apartment. Some basic amenities, especially when you just walk in after a long flight, would have been a nice touch.

The location was terrific; just next to Financial Center metro station, so getting in and out was easy. There were plenty of coffee shops and restaurants within walking distance. Supermarket was also close by.

This Hotel is nice for the budget travellers. It is good for preservative gulf families where bachelors are not allowed to receive female guests even if the room is booked for two.
This is declared clearly by the receptionist at the check in time but not in the hotel website.

Enjoyed stay again. Pleased the male staff in all departments were much more friendly and helpful this time and they knew I'd stayed before which was appreciated. Yet again a very good stay was a bit spoiled by the check out. Having asked me to give my check out time and I checked out on time, check out still took 15 mins. The ladies on reception just said 'Wait 5 minutes' with no explanation. After 10 and me chasing, someone went to check the room. I even said to the manager you make me feel like a criminal checking I haven't stolen anything! He assured me it was not. My advice to the hotel is to explain what you are doing and why, and to be a bit friendlier at check out ladies - don't make guests late and guess the reason.

Bad value for money. Wifi is weak and you can connect only one device through the free wifi, for other devices you have to pay a ridiculously expensive price. everything was nice, room is clean, staff friendly, breakfast abundant, location convenient. Didn't experience any things negative reported by other reviewers. The only reason I didn't give it rating 5 was that they said a bottle of coke was missing when they did the checking-out survey. Since I didn't use anything in the mini bar on the kitchen table, I was a little unhappy when they insisted on charging me 6 Dhr for that. Well, it was not worth fighting for that since it was only less than 2 bucks.

Lobby is small and busy at times the pool is quite small more tables n chairs are needed at the time of breakfast gets rather busy WiFi is my biggest moan allowing only one device not suitable for a family shud be more having complained about this the staff were not concerned take it or leave it and is quite slow at times and wouldn't connect as well having to call the IT guy out reboot the router behind the TV having stayed at the majority of hotels along sheikh zahid Road this one rates low on my list of hotels due these issues overall OK if gonna sleep n go business users who ain't fussed but when u paying top dollar in peak season you expect sum value for your money. I hope the hotel listens to these reviews and makes sum improvements Ahmed in front of house was very helpful n courteous to our needs and checking us in.. Top man!!
