Clean, average hotel which was comfortable. Challenges for the hotel are breakfast times, clearly not enough seating to accommodate the amount of guests, and the food was poor to average at best. I had an executive room which was very large, but very cold, no matter the ac setting. The hotel lacks a bar, so you won’t get a night cap here.

Staff at the reception and everywhere in the hotel was friendly and helpful. Around the reception are you can get coffee with dates around lunchtime. Also there’s a cafe with coffee and pastry in the hotel. The room was clean and modern and was very well cleaned. The view from my room was really bad - it was in front of another building, I had to leave curtains shut because of it and I couldn’t see the city at all. The view from the roof, however, was very nice, but it was closed too early in the evening in my opinion. I went there every morning. On top of the roof are two swimming pools (one is for children) and you can get a towel there. There are sunbeds as well. The nearest subway is around 45 minutes walking. There are many grocery shops, pharmacies and restaurants in the area. Walking to the beach La Mer is about 15 minutes. There was no VIP access and no food discount, even when I asked.

Le stanze non erano pulite abbiamo avuto tanti problemi per la prenotazione, perché sul vostro sito mio figlio di 15 anni risultava un bambino e quando siamo arrivati là, non c’hanno concesso il letto per mio figlio. Questo è un problema, perché se sul sito io prenoto la stanza per due adulti e un quindicenne e tutto va a buon fine. Io devo avere il letto e così siamo stati costretti a dormire in tre in un letto matrimoniale. Il cibo che abbiamo provato sia a colazione che per una cena era terribile qualità bassissima e cucinato male.

Clean room, towels changed whenever requested, friendly staff, and good amenities — no issues there.

The problem was the desert safari tour we booked through the hotel’s tour desk. We paid for what was presented as a full package that included safari car, ATV riding, a camel photo, henna, a photo in traditional Arabic costume, and barbecue dinner. We paid the full amount without negotiating, expecting a proper experience.

Instead, we were given the lowest-tier version of everything. The ATV ride and camel photo were done at night, the costume photo was taken in a dark room, and the henna was limited to one small design with no option to choose. Seating was on the floor, not on chairs. For dinner, we had to stand in line twice — once for appetizers and once for the main dish that doesn't include barbecue.

In the end, we had to pay extra on-site just to upgrade to decent services. The so-called “full package” sold by the hotel turned out to be the bare minimum, and once you arrive, they call the proper experiences “extras” or “paid upgrades”.

Had a bad experience with hotel policy for asking deposit of 200 canadian which is approx 500 aed, they encouraged to take 400 cash or wait for tefund for 14 day. And when they took deposit it took 2 minutes to charges. Staff ignored me and refused to listen. Left with i will never ever go back to that hotel.

I recently stayed at Al Khoory Hotel with my family for a vacation, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The hotel was exceptionally clean, which made our stay comfortable and relaxing. One of the highlights was the food—everything we tried was absolutely delicious, with a great variety to choose from.

What really stood out was the customer service. The staff were incredibly kind, attentive, and always willing to help with anything we needed. Their warm hospitality truly made us feel welcome and taken care of throughout our stay.

A great place to stay in Dubai

The hotel was the only thing we liked about Dubai. The staff were friendly we had a free upgrade to a suite which was lovely. The bed was extremely comfortable. The sauna, steam room and gym were great too. The decor is a little dated but this does not detract from the overall experience. The only negative thing I would say is the breakfasts were very poor, stale food with bad service.

I explain. At checkin Hotel charge you extra 350.00 AED with a transaction not an autorisation! They said will revers transaction later. Lots of people are complaining they don’t received the money after 1 month!
I stayed in over 1000 hotels all over the world and never happened to have a transaction instead of an autorisation. It is no reason to do this, is disrespectful regarding the customer.
I worked for MasterCard. An autorisation doesn’t cost nothing - only block an amount in case something happened. If something happens the autorisation will be transformed in transaction which it cost hotel. The way you are doing 2 transactions is double cost. Doesn’t make any sense.
Beside this issue hotel can be a 5* review :
- cleanest- impeccable
- room spacious full equipped
- breakfast amazing
- superb pool on top with a beautiful vue
- location - if you have a car is perfect, if not metro station is 30 min walk World Trade Center station
- Hotel has a good parking 2 floors

Please add some hooks in the bathroom. The only one it is very inconvenient for the towels.

Can somebody from management explain why you charge with a transaction at checkin ?

I hope my review it helps to correct the money anomaly!

Disappointing Experience – Not Recommended

I stayed at the hotel from 8th to 12th January 2025, and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory.

•Cleanliness Issues: On the second day, I discovered bed bugs in my room, which was extremely distressing. I had to kill three bugs and even found one on a towel. Although the reception staff moved me to a new room, this should not have occurred in the first place.

•In the new room, I encountered further cleanliness problems. Towels had lipstick stains, smelled unpleasant, and were not promptly replaced by housekeeping despite my request.

•WiFi Problems: Throughout my stay, the WiFi was unreliable. I had to visit reception four times before they provided a new voucher on the last day and a half, which finally worked.

•Compensation: Given these significant inconveniences, I expected more than a single day of complimentary breakfast as compensation. It felt inadequate given the multiple issues I faced.

While the first day of my stay was fine and the reception staff made some efforts to address my concerns, the overall experience was disappointing. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to friends or family. Solo travelers might find it tolerable if they are not too particular about cleanliness and service quality.

The hotel was fine. But there is one thing. My neighbor, who lives in the neighboring apartment, set the alarm clock for 5 am during 3 days. The alarm clock did not ring but vibrated. I could hear it very well in my room. I told the staff and security at the hotel several times. Nothing changed. I knocked on neighbor's door by myself, he did not open the door. This went on for 3 days, instead of resting I would wake up at 5am and wonder how to resolve the issue with my neighbor. His room number is room 105.

This hotel is great for middle class budgets! It's close to downtown and is overall a safe area. We were welcomed very nicely by the staff and everything was clean inside. The room is surprisingly a good size and so is the bathroom as most hotels give you the tiniest bathrooms. Because all of Dubai is safe, we explored the area and shops right by the hotel and it's a place where you can tell the locals live and shop, lots of options for food!
We didn't get a chance to eat there due to many tours and sightseeing But the water is always free in the room and they bring it to your room when needed. They have a coffee shop downstairs but the coffee isn't free. The surrounding area is quiet and we slept just fine!
We rented a car and it was great to have safe and covered parking for free!
I would stay here again because the price is right, the hotel is very clean and pretty, the staff is great, and its safe.

The ‘VIP” access this hotel advertises is fake. They said during busy season they don’t provide the room upgrade that comes with the booking. So why are they falsely advertising something they cannot uphold? Very disappointing. Next I went to my room and there are stains on the pillow and it smells and hair on my bedsheet!!! House cleaning took forever to come and change the sheets which should have been cleaned before we checked in!! You can hear noise from rooms beside you not soundproof at all. The internet was horrible as well I had meetings and it kept freezing everyday. Don’t waste your money. Go somewhere better.
