This place is way in the middle of nowhere. Highway literally drives right by your front door at high speed. There’s no walking anywhere. Everything is an Uber. That would be fine but it’s expensive for what you get. You might think Uber is good in Dubai $20. It’s not sound like much but on peak hours that $20 turns into $80 between 6 PM and 9 PM, it’s also very far from the beach

Room was tiny! Not even enough space for one person to stay comfortably. All the rooms were the same size, which isn’t helpful. We ended up leaving after the first day. They refused to refund us though. The pictures make it look better than it is, as soon as we drove up to the hotel, I could tell it would be a disaster.

This hotel was disgusting. We had bugs in our room—roaches. We sat on the bed, and it was like a rock, and we fell through the bed; it was so old. It was disgusting. The bathroom was dirty with cobwebs. The towels were old, and the floor/carpet was sticky. It smelt like mold. I asked for a refund, and they would NOT refund my money. I was out $1500. I will continue to fight these people; it's a shame how they treat guests.

The hotel is in a area which feels unsafe to go outside in the evening/night time unless you drive or use taxi.The room was smelling heavily like smoke and the bathroom was very old and mold was around the shower cabinet.The dining was very poor .Would not recommend if you are looking for cleanliness, safe and a tasty dining experience.

The property has great potential but would benefit from some updates and improvements in the rooms. While room service could be more prompt, the staff were friendly and accommodating. The complimentary underground parking, though tight, was a nice perk. The bathrooms could use some TLC, particularly the shower doors and heads. There was some noise from the room above, but overall it was a decent stay.

Nice hotel with friendly, accommodating staff. Room was clean and spacious. Free bottled water left every day with fridge in room to keep it chilled. Only downside, the location - a taxi ride away from the metro which was a little inconvenient. Also, the cargo port is directly opposite. The extremely bright 24-hour lights from there can hinder sleep. Best to ask for a room not on this side if this could be a problem.

I arrived at the hotel at 10 PM in the evening of 5 Dec. I was shocked to know that they cancelled my booking for no reasons. Besides, they told me that they are full !.. I contacted Expedia to resolve it for almost 20 minutes without any success. Then, I had to leave the hotel.
This is terrible act by the hotel and not acceptable. This is also a grave failure by Expedia to protect a member of long time. Lately, Expedia also embarrassed me on 19 Nov in Washington DC (Washington Plaza Hotel). They could not find the booking of Ali Hantal (Itinerary: 72428630020269) and I had to make new booking!..
I need an explanation and compensation from Expedia before I terminate my long lasting memebership.

Despite booking and paying in advance for two twin non-smoking rooms, and emailing to request a late check-in (flight landed at 1am; email acknowledged and accepted) we were told that these rooms were not available. We were given a twin and a double on the smoking floor which meant sleeping on a pull-out bed, not being able to unpack and switching rooms the following day. We were told that the hotel policy is that we would only get the rooms requested if they were still available. What is the point of reserving a room, paying in advance and notifying (and being acknowledged) of a late check-in if someone else could walk in on the day and be given the final two non-smoking twin rooms?
The night staff were apologetic about this policy and helpful in rectifying the issue the next day.
If you are arriving late and want to avoid the frustration of not getting the room you have already paid for I would suggest booking an alternative hotel.

Without a do not disturb card in the room, not only with the noise of closing door of the other doors…you will be awake by room sce cleaners shouting in service. When you ask for the DND card and the cleaning…room is not clean up to the late afternoon…and in the room of 2 people only one towel….not good for the price! Quality towel is questionable on 10 years old or 20 yo!

My stay at the Holliday Inn Express was kinda disappointing because I did not get a room at the top floor which I requested and also the Hotel doe not mentioned anything about the 2 top floors being for people who smoke when i made reservations. Another thing that I found annoying was the fact that I had to LITERALLY call the front desk just so that I can ask them to bring me a iron and table to my room which I shouldn’t have to call for that at all. So my experience at the Holiday Inn Express was disappointing and I really hope that they make changes for future reference. Thank you

Hotel with Cockroaches!! This is my 2nd time visiting this hotel and everything went well until I went home to find a dead cockroach in my luggage!!! Now I am so stressed out that what if I brought cockroaches with me. I unpacked a day after I arrived. Just because of this I will never stay in the hotel even if the location is great. Free Underground parking and Breakfast is good. Management please contact me regarding this major issue.

Don't stay at Holiday Inn Express in Jumeriah-DXB

We arrived at our hotel at 230am & we told them that we would be late arrival. When we got there they told us that the hotel was full due to a cancelled flight & they would move us to another hotel. They called for a taxi and moved us to a hotel 10 minutes away.
With this new hotel it screwed up all our plans for tours/Transfer & to catch metro. It was a pain & cost us more money, time & frustration.
Watch out for bait & switch.
They should have honored my reservation & moved the other people to other hotels & not us as I booked a month in advance. Very sad

I am very disappointed with this hotel and hotels.com. I booked to stay at this hotel during March11th-March 14th 2020 so I can go on a cruise but then the Covid pandemic was called and my flight and my cruise was cancelled so I was unable to go to the hotel. The hotel then stated that even though I was unable to make it to the hotel due to the pandemic that I was a no show and stated that they will not be processing me a refund. I am also a frontline worker and I have been trying since March to get a refund and they refuse to do so despite the contingencies this hotel may have to cover a loss as such. I find it very dishonorable that a company hotels.com and Holiday Inn could not provide me with a refund given the circumstances. It is very disappointing and when the pandemic is over I will ensure that my family and friends will not use hotels.com nor Holiday Inn for any of our travels.

The breakfast was great.Several hot options,salad items such as olive, cheese, dates, cold cuts,fresh fruits, 3 kind of juices.
hot and cold cereal, several kinds of bread and great coffee.

The staff at the front desk was polite, helpful and tried to solve the problems we had with housekeeping.

We booked a room for 3 people and for the first 5 days we had to ask for the third bath towel .It was annoying.
Finally my daughter said the if the problem was not solved she would speak with the manager.

Another problem was with the sofabed. Some days it was not folded back as a sofa , some days they left it half way folded back.

The housekeeping staff needs to upgrade their service. It was quite disappointing. We were almost changing hotels because of the bad service we got.

Everything was fine at the beginning (check in) we enter on Wednesday night and that night we asked for an iron (for our clothes) which was delivered at the room (it took lots of time) on the next day we went out of the hotel and we left a Do Not Disturbe sigh out of the room, on Friday morning we needed the iron again and we discovered the iron was removed from our room without notice or permission, basically someone entered our room to take it!!! We complained to the manager in charge and expressed how inappropriate this event has been. They said they will investigate which I do not care anymore, I got all our belongings in the room, our passports and shopping things.
This has been an invasion of property, sadly...

The staff did try there best to rectify the room issue at check in. I really liked the shuttle service to Dubai Mall. The breakfast was good but I've stay at other comparably priced hotels in Dubai and had better free breakfasts that offered a omelet station and more choice.Over all this hotel was good.

I stupidly left my headphone at the gym, the cleaners handed it to reception - i was impressed with the honest and integrity of the staff.
Location is great - must try the Truck ada restaurant, which is 2 min walk away.
Overall Fantastic stay.

The internet was terrible. I was in the 6th floor and couldn't fully enjoy the internet access. Also there was no wash clothes; I have to request each time. The ice machine was out of order. But overall, the staff was amazing, the cleaning staff was great, and the customer service was outstanding. The breakfast was excellent. I would recommend that shuttle bus to airport as mentioned on the website be provided as part of services. A shuttle bus to Dubai Mall or some special touristic places would make a big difference.
