PROS:

- room was quite large and contained a kitchenette and balcony
- the rooftop pool, although quite small, was a nice extra
- assistance with porterage and luggage storage
- staff were professional and helpful

CONS:

- pre-trip communication was poor, staff stopped responding to my messages; this caused some stress for me.
- PAPER THIN walls. Unfortunately my neighbours on one side kept me up all night, other neighbours playing loud music in the morning. The hotel addressed the latter and it improved, for which I was grateful. I should have asked for help the night before, but did not.
- water in 'hot' tub was not hot

SUMMARY: All in all a pleasant stay, but due to the thin walls I would hesitate staying again. It is a great property otherwise.

The staff is extremely friendly, and meticulous with their work. The food is really good and affordable and healthy. They have different cuisines, less spicy and prepared very healthy. They clean the room every single day and keep it very tidy. I highly recommend this hotel for families with elders or with kids too. Their brunch is the best for money.

The staff was extremely kind and helpful. The room was comfortable and not very far from the airport. I would stay again.
The TV didn’t seem to work and the kitchen light wouldn’t turn on at night, but those were just a couple small glitches and not enough of a problem to have spoiled the stay.

Upon checking in I was informed that the pool hours were 8am-8pm. The only reason I had booked this hotel because the hours for the pool were showing 7am-11pm on hotels.com. Also, phone did not work in the room when I tried calling reception so I had to walked down to mention about the AC not working very well. Maintenance then informed me after fixing it that the bathroom door needed to be closed for the rest of the room to be cool. Staff was respectful and kind.

Thin walls, windows not properly sealed against sound, tiny unusable balcony that even birds could not get out of after getting trapped between the balcony glass and the window glass. Street boys playing soccer and cricket next to the window at all but the latest/earliest of hours. Pool, small but decent. Overall friendly staff and decent location. Won't stay again due to the noise concerns.

The hotel is simple and not fancy, but very adequate, decently equipped, and welcoming. Note that it was further from the airport than anticipated. It took half an hour by taxi late at night and cost 54 Dirham Arabe.

Very conveniently located to public transportation. Near train and bus stations. Hotel offers transportation to and from jumierah beach and other destinations. Lots of nearby grocery and restaurant options. The staff was kind and helpful. They brought up groceries to my room and also let me sleep in before asking for room service. The area where the hotel is located is residential with many hotels in close proximity. Hotel room was clean except the washing machine rubber had black mold inside.

We had some issues with a bad smell in the bathroom and the manager Niraj and Madan both helped us with finding us a better room to stay. My husband fell ill and the hotel staff and mangers looked him very well. Location is good.

Excellent apartment hotel and very good location. They also provide shuttle in the morning to the metro. Metro is walking distance but in Dubai heat even 5 minutes walk can be unbearable. So it’s very good option to have shuttle. I only wished they had shuttle throughout the day not just till 8:45. Overall I was very happy with my stay.

Great staff at management, desk, and housekeeping all of which were very astute and respectful. Quite clean. Very comfortable bed. After given the wrong room upon a very late check-in, management made up for this by correcting my room and even moving most comfortable mattress from the prior room inside, while even showimg other options and nearby properties of the Savoy brand. Gym with full equipment just a block away was also very good. Extended my stay and would always consider Savoy park again.

We stayed in a studio for 6 days over the NYE period. Check-in was friendly and efficient. The room was a bit gloomy due to the balcony blocking half of the available light. The studio was well equiped including a washing machine. The pool area gets sun most of the day but you have to wear a mask up there even when alone which I thought was a bit strange. All ov the staff ard friendly whicn made our stay good. The only downside is that the frong facing rooms look over a building site which can be a bit noisy. I would recommend.

It was OK for the price. The front desk guys where friendly and helpful. Nothing extra like other places I stayed. But I didn't like that my room was next to a room with very heavy smokers. I expected that there should be another floor for smokers. The cigarette smoke was so concentrated I had to always shut the door in a hurry.

The service from front of desk and overall experience was perfect.
The hotel is situated very close to central dubai so getting to and from places was very convenient.
Only problem I had was a leaking shower. From day one the shower was leaking and was puddles of water.
The in-house maintenance would come and try to fix the problem however it continued to leak.
The staff were really nice and I kept giving them the opportunity to fix the problem due to their hospitability.
Overall the leak remained which was an issue but I did not let it ruin my experience, I kept using towels to osborb the leak after I had showered.

It was a memorable stay with a very friendly and caring staff, especially night shift staff was very nice and always available to help, as we arrived the hotel after midnight we were given a warm welcome. The hotel restaurant staff was also very friendly. Only sometimes the staff at the swimming pool was less attentive and friendly and we had to remind to the room cleaning staff every day to refill tea and sugar or to bring new towels. Overall my kids and me enjoyed our stay there and it is good for families stay. Highly recommended and we are planning to revisit the place in future. Thank you Ronald and Ajo and all others who made our stay comfortable!

Incredible stay at this hotel. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. We arrived very early in the morning at about 6am while the check in was only at 8am. The staff was so kind to let us have an early check in. Had a very long flight and all we wanted was to rest. Was pleased and happy with the service. Even checked on us and make sure everything was comfortable and good for us. Indeed was a very pleasant stay. Room was clean. Although the bathroom was very small but the cleanliness was just top notch. Amazing 9 nights stay in such a hospitable environment. Thank you for being kind and especially for the staff who attended to us upon our checked in. Couldn’t remember his name but overall very pleased with the service provided! Will come back and stay there again.

Great staff, good breakfast. I thought from the pictures it would be almost identical to the Savoy central but the room seemed a little smaller and the convertible sofa was too small for two people. Staff were brilliant and put up another bed in the room so we had a king size, a sofa bed and a folding bed for our growing children 14 and 11 years old. Super super friendly staff and room cleaning service every day is impeccable.

I was in Dubai for many times and i have experience on some Hotels there. This is the awesome, fantastic Hotel with very friendly staff, cleaning every day without requesting. Maybe a little remark is to train the cleaning guy to put everything daily, and here I'm speaking about napkins, shampoo, soap... in my 14th day's there was some times when he forget to put shampoo... I will come again for sure at one of Savoy Hotels...

We had a great stay at the hotel. Staff was awesome, friendly and always willing to go extra mile, from the usual hospitality of wake up calls, luggage hauling, room service, answering questions to accommodating unusual requests like my kid threw up all over the bathroom in the middle of night can we get help to clean up and my sick kid wants some orange juice. All requests were completed with a smile and promptly.

Breakfast at the in hotel restaurant was healthy and had good set of choices. They added something new everyday.

We had some noise issues with a large group of Arab families with noisy kids that got very active after 11 PM. The hotel staff tried their best to talk to them and have them tone down. This happened for a couple of nights. Other than that we had a relaxing and fun stay.

We enjoyed our stay. The staff were very punctual and helpful with whatever we needed - their attitute was great and for me that is a priority.
The only niggle i had was the airconditioning worked a bit too well. And the cold water was very warm due to the heat outside so we couldnt have a cool shower.( the trick was to use the hot water in the hot water tank in the apartment that had not been switched on and therefore cooler than water coming in from outside the building).

Apart from that it was good.

We arrived at 9am, tired after a long flight, but the room was available early, within the hour. The room was a reasonable size and fairly well equipped. Beds were comfortable and the bathroom was okay, albeit a little small.
We ate both in the restaurant and via room service. At all times the food was good quality, reasonably priced and sufficient.

There is a nice little swimming pool and jacuzzi on the top floor which was kept clean and well staffed.

The staff were excellent and were always very attentive - it was no trouble for them to solve our problems, queries and requests.

I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel, based on our experience.

We were a family of 2 adults/2 children travelling in Feb 2017.

it was located in Old Dubai, about 15 -20 mins from Airport (should be about AED45 by taxi, if it's more and u know u are being ripped off by the taxi driver). there is a shopping mall called Burjuman (about 15 mins walk from the hotel), if u don't want to take taxi, u can get the skytrain from the mall and basically it's connected to all the majority tourist destination and most of the major shopping mall in Dubai. If you have kids, I would recommend taxi (since the price is quite reasonable). There is a construction work nearby the hotel, so it will be very noisy since 6 or 7am, we got awaked by the noise everyday, including weekends!! Some Indian family was staying on the same floor banging the doors few times and adult shouting loudly at the corridor at 11pm which is very annoying. the nearest food café/restaurant is about 15 mins walk. the only good thing about the hotel is the staff, they are very friendly and efficient, we have problem with our wifi, a staff comes to us within 5 mins. The only problem with the staff is they can't get us a taxi in the morning during peak hour time, they have to get the taxi by waving them, not quite sure how the taxi system works in Dubai, I was expecting the staff to call for a taxi, probably there isn't a phone call facility for the taxi?

first of all the management and staff are the best. I have been coming to Dubai for 11 years and have stayed in all the high end hotels and this staff and management rates high with the best. Hotel is clean and they really care about your comfort. The best I would stay here ever time I come to Dubai,you cant bet the price and 24/7 someone is ready to asset you. Nice hotel although far from beach - 30 mins drive

We were two adults two kids, and had to share three to one bed and one in single sofa bed. This wasn't really ideal and I didn't sleep too well. Staff are lovely and the place is clean. There is a free bus leaving at 9:45 to jumeirah kite beach returning 2pm. However, it is extremely hot so beware (end Oct 37-40 degrees).
Breakfast was nice at 35 dirhams per person and kids are free, so this was cost effective.
We ate at a lovely Iranian restaurant AL USTAD ten mins walk away. 112 dirhams for four, delicious food and few tourists (mainly locals).
We dislike the bling of Dubai so this hotel gets you away from that and a more authentic experience. We would stay again.

Fair hotel but dirty

I stayed several nights at this hotel. The size of the room and layout was quite good and the service was fine.
The room was nevertheless quite dirty. All the areas where the room service cleans was actually clean and they did a good job there but when you look at the kitchen cabinets, the remote control for the tv etc... this is where I got actually disgusted. Black fat from people touching it is something that even the least trained people can see but not at this hotel. Very bad.
Then, Internet. They have a special wifi spot for each room which is very good and the signal is very good. They had however some technical problems resulting in no functionality of the Internet. After a call to the reception they sent a team to fix it within minutes and it worked. The Internet was more or less stable after that but maybe fell out once or twice per day for a short time.
My overall evaluation of my stay is maybe best described that way that I am still in Dubai but at another hotel. Not recommended from my side. If they would clean the rooms properly and update their shower equipment then I would consider it.

Great hotel with great rates!

We stayed at this hotel for 6 days. We thoroughly enjoyed the hotel; staff were very friendly and always helpful. The rooftop pool was great and we used daily. Jafor, the staff who was at the pool was always friendly and helpful. The room was a good size, very comfortable bed, great kitchen (with cooktop). The location was superb for shopping, transit and local grocery shopping. Great location and would definitely return again to this hotel.
