The room is perfect but I have been staying in the hotel for over 10 years. Its about time the television appliance be changed. Everything else is outstanding. I must give a generous recommendation to the gentlemen, who handles your luggage from inside and outside the hotel. The gentlemen are the cornerstone stone of Majestic. These gentlemen provide you a warm welcome and professionalism attitude. Especially Mr. Derrick, who always provide great customer service. Thank you

It is a very old hotel, and many things don't work. Leaky bathrooms, old uncomfortable beds, and stinking carpets. Will not stay here again.

The staff were very nice and helpful. They do not have microwave in the room, that is only thing i did not like it. Another thing was elevator was taking too long during rush hour. Overall, everything was very gud and nice atmosphere.

Way above my expectations. Really great stay with excellent comfort!

The front office staff during check-in were very considerate and helpful where seeing we check-in early morning at 4am our checkout time was extended by 2 hours which was very helpful for us.

I would highly recommend Majestic retreat Hotel for anyone who wants to have a stay in Dubai during their long layover during transit.

Great view from the 20 th floor too!

The staff and service workers were all great and attentive, the food was great and there were plenty to chose from, the rooms are spacious and the shower water was easy to control cold warm or hot water, security is top notch, plenty of entertainment within the hotel, and plenty of shops and resturants within walking distance...I can't forget the laundry service it was great as well, I have no cons to give for this hotel its one of the best budget friendly hotels in Bur Dubai.

I wanted a place that offered breakfast, and was skeptical about what breakfast they offered. I LOVED the breakfast and variety of foods they had. Our room was clean, housekeeping was great, staff was great and friendly. There was supermarkets and pharmacies within a couple minutes walk. Souks within walking distance. The view was and balcony was beautiful. The tub was really nice, water pressure was good. We enjoyed the pool several days, as well as the saunas.
There were no microwaves, but everything else was fantastic. I would recommend this hotel. I’m a foodie, and just loved the breakfast. A large variety, I always left stuffed because I wanted a little bit of everything.

Budget hotel, wouldn't use again. Desperately in need of a revamp. Bathroom was dirty and needed maintenance. the rooms laminate flooring was coming apart with obvious gaps and collecting dirt & debris.

My room was at 16th floor 1612 and the rooms next to me were so noisy after midnight which couldn't sleep and the beat music coming from the night clubs in the middle of the night till 3 am couldn't make me sleep . I asked to chmagebthe room but did bot get answer . I asked for ironing machine but didn't get it .

I have stayed there so many times, but the new staff they are not very helpful especially the duty manager being a hotel.com Gold member they refuse to give me a upgrade as they said only for their own customers booking through their website, plus the small pillows in the bedrooms had really bad stains on them and the towels were very old

The Majestic Hotel has several equipment issues, including non-functional fridge, old TV with only analog channels, and an electric water heater that provides only a few minutes of hot water. The noisy AC made it difficult to sleep at night. Despite requesting a non-smoking room, the room smelled of smoke. Additionally, for a 24-floor hotel, having only two lifts led to long wait times, especially during breakfast. The hotel caters heavily to tourists from India, with Indian-flavored dishes and music in all restaurants and bars, The Majestic Hotel's old equipment needs refurbishment, as they are not functioning properly. Additionally, the smoke detector kept alarming throughout the night, causing inconvenience. The only advantage was the free valet parking.

I liked the location of the property as it was convinient. Not so much liked the quality of service, unless I was asking for more than that type of hotel should provide.
There was a mishap done by housekeepers but the upper management didn't do what it took for a come back game.

My experience at the hotel was so distressing that I would not consider returning, even if offered a stay for free. Initially, I was placed in a room that was both unsightly and foul-smelling. Matters worsened when I had to switch to another room that was in an even poorer condition, and I was forced to settle for a twin bed room despite being alone. The tranquility of my stay was constantly interrupted by loud music from nearby clubs during the night. Additionally, the hotel's elevator service was severely lacking, with only two elevators for a large building, causing long waiting times.

The reviews rating was 8.6 ... It is hugely misleading .

This hotel is not diverse and I won,t recommend this. You may think you are India and not Dubai. The worst of it all they have 8 nightclubs with load music until 4am. None of these are diverse and all play Indian music. Is great for those who want to explore the Indian culture. The staff are friendly. Be aware that the spa and sauna come at an extra charge. My biggest regret 😪 it was also my first time in Dubai. It was a complete waste of money fell ill after not being able to get a decent night sleep.

The front reception was littered. The front reception couches are worn down and have no strenght in them. The rooms need repairs. Walls have marks and the TV's are from 90's. I don't recommmend anyone from North America to enter this hotel.

The worse hotel I have ever been .smells was like……! Food was very bad and low quality. The rooms smells very bad and old. Don’t even go to this hotel even if you have to.
So disappointed! I reserved this hotel because was close to US embassy but I couldn’t even sleep there . The lift was so slow and the crowed was crazy!

There is nothing to like.

1. It is not a 4 starts hotel

2. There are only 2 elevators and took me 10 minutes to get a ride (up and down). The elevator was always full of people

3. The toilet spred an unbelievable smell and when I called they brought someone with an air freshener. It didn't help at all. I couldnt sleep and had to change to another room. Same smell form time to time

4. An alarm noice starts shouting at random times Daily and after midnight. It woke me up every time. No answer from receptionists on what it was

First day met Krishna at the reception. Very friendly, very accommodating and pleasant . From there 3 days was just awesome.This hotel is Very convenient for me .All the staff I met were helpful and kind and I had a great stay . This hotel does have one thing that I like and that is the restaurant/bar called \"Sundowners.\" The things I didn't like is the room we were given didn't have a walk in shower so finally Customer Service moved us to a room with a walk in shower. Next thing was there was no iron in the room, no slippers, and the smell throughout the hotel is not good. This hotel is way different than before due to it being under new management. Lastly, we asked multiple times for towels and shampoo and didn't receive until we checked out. Unacceptable hotel for any traveler.

It's not suitable for family vacations. The building is too old, cleanness was poor, has too many lounges/clubs, is noisy, and a lot of people traffic inside the lobby just for 2 elevators. They have a limited buffet breakfast. However, the staff was very friendly and helpful.

This hotel offers good accommodation for the price it charges. However, the staff at the reception desk are quite inefficient. Check-in takes forever (waited for 15 minutes for my first time checking in, and the second time, they told me there is no room available. Eventually, they offered to let us stay at an ungraded room in partner hotel nearby, which we greatly enjoyed staying at).

Very bad experience, I have stayed one extra night and paid at reception but at the time of check out staff changed and they said have not paid, they called the staff to check and staff also said no i have not paid.
After that they had to check at CCTV and they came to know that have paid.
It was so embarrassing. They made me stand at reception for 30 minutes to clear this matter. Room size very small, no staff to handle your lugggae at check out, u need carry your own luggage .

Overall property condition was good except for some construction works were going on at the pool area. The hotel has added a night club at the top floor and I was provided with a room a floor below the night club. The sound kept disturbing at night.

Further, the hotel seems to have some management issue in handling reservation. I booked the hotel a week in advance through Expedia. The hotel sent me a notification a day before my arrival while I was travelling stating that I should contact them directly otherwise they will cancel my reservation. Pretty strange! I had to contact Expedia and they had to deal with the hotel to keep my reservation effective until my arrival. This is the hotel I used to choose while travelling to Dubai. However, it looks like the hotel is compromising in its services.

Stay at this property was horrible. The wait for the elevator can be for a good 20-30 mins as its overcrowded. There is a night club downstairs and its very noisy and loud for if you plan to sleep in the night. I had a wooden plank fall on my foot and there is no course of action in case if injury. They sent a secuirty guard with a small kit bag that didnt even have a basic ice pack. There are call girls in and out of the hotel with their business ! Hence this place is not good if you are coming to stay with family

Whenever I visit Dubai I always stay at this property since 2012 and since it have felt under new management the property is not the same, but everything else have same. It since like they only cater to one group of people. So I think that’s the last time I will stay there. Don’t get me wrong the Property is good.

After I had to pay for upgrade 100 dirhams each night which was 300. They did not open the kitchen till later after I had to go down stairs to talk to receptionist to open door did not take it on the phone. I never received no VIP benefits, but after my room and stuff was worked ou I will stay again but please get my VIP benefits thank you
