Maples guest hotel appartment

The stay wasn’t that great the appartment I was in had mosquitos and cockroaches all over the place and I wasn’t feeling that good I complained to the staff he helped me with spraying the room and he was quiet helpful . After even putting the mosquito spray the mosquitos were still on and I even told the manager I would like to change my room but the apartment was full and holiday season so had to manage with it .

Terrible place to stay at.

Terrible bed is the cheapest u can buy u can’t even sit on it goes in. The TV has only 2 or 3 channels working . The WiFi is so bad it only works in particular places in the room. The water heater they hav used in the rooms is pathetic it only gives hot water for about 2 minutes and then it is like warm water.
After repeated requests at the front desk nothing was done about it. And every time I ask about it they say we will send someone now but nobody shows up.

The hotel staff were always friendly & accommodating. However, they should be mindful that guests from the Western side of the world use washcloths to clean their bodies and this is something that should be readily available in all rooms. Guests should not have to purchase their own washcloths from the store in order to take a shower. Xclusive Maples only provides towels & I wasn't used to that.

Average hotel but good location.

Average hotel but good location. I had trouble on 2 nights as there was a group of young lads from India who were partying in the middle of night, shouting in the corridors, playing loud music, knocking on doors etc. Did complain to the hotel staff the next day but never received any updates.

Very nice boutique hotel

This hotel was very nice to stay in. Great location near Bur Dubai and taxis are constantly available. Just make sure to turn on the water heater in the room otherwise the water is cold. They give 1 complimentary bottle of water. The towels are very scarce so make sure to ask for more upon check in.

A very standard and ordinary hotel

very weak customer service, the room was not ready when I checked in, noisy air conditioner, dirty and not enough towels, no hot water the second morning, no floor mates, the water from standing shower leaks to the floor and requires cleaning every time you take shower, very old microwave and iron, very slow wi-fi. Small little things that you expect in a 3 star did not exist. The only good feature is that it has a frig, small kitchen, so if you want to cook..
I will not recommend this hotel...

Very nice hotel for the price.

I was in town for a week and found this hotel for only $70 per night for a 1 bedroom and was pleasantly surprised at the size of the room. Very good value and located only a short walk to Burjuman metro station.

Bare minimum hotel, too expensive for what you get

Overall fairly poor. Hotel staff was unorganized, constantly late, and forgetful. The room itself was massive and the bed comfortable. The cleanliness could have been improved and te washroom in general was dated. This hotel would be okay if it wasn't as expensive and if they didn't thraten to cancel my reservation a week before if I didn't prepay (even after booking the reservation with a 48-hr cancellation option over a montg in advance).

mostly out on business meetings, but the hotel is in good location for Business Bay Area, DXB mall, and local Burj Juman Mall. Fitness First gym and spa can also be found close by, so helpful if you want to use on short term basis steam and sauna, as this Aparthotel don't have. Overall it's ok except the mornings which is noisey at reception as the breakfast area is in the same open space.

Lousy Hotel Apartment far from any place

The Front Desk could not guide us from the Burjuman Metro Station as he himself did not know the way when we called him from our mobile, the tourist fee was asked at the check in itself, we had requested for 2 single beds but we were given one king bed, no toaster in the kitchen, wine glasses to drink water, tea, coffee sachets had to be asked to be refilled every morning & no grocery stores in walking distance, so it was difficult to manage the kitchen in the Hotel Apartment, The shower in the bathroom was loose & no soap holder too in the shower cubicle & when we asked them to fit a new soap holder they had no answer, the Hotel is very ill maintained & service very slow and the staff has attitude especially the room service boy Farhane, would not stay in this Hotel apartment again as it is very far from the Burjuman Metro station and wrongly stated in its nearby to it, not upto the mark and whenever you ask any staff a question why somethings which were not in the room ,their standard reply was , it is not available as per the Hotel Policy.
the only good ones of the room service/housekeeping staff were Nabin & his woman colleague, don't remember her name , they were quite prompt in their service.

Room was poorly equipped and not as advertised. Not even a kettle in the room to boil water. AC did not work for a day. 2 English news channels on the TV. Wifi didnt work in the lobby but was ok in the room. Pool the size of a hot tub and not heated. Only positive note was that the staff were friendly.

This was my second time with family and after a long journey really appreciated fast check-in. Excellent location near metro and mina bazaar and lots of fast foods. We took 2 rooms and one was upgraded for free and rooms were spacious with free wifi and my son made good use of fitness center. Housekeeping staff very fast and efficient and our additional requests were met quickly. Overall great service.

Awesome...

It was a awesome stay... The only problem was, that I booked it for a single day, as I was not confirm about my stay duration, and it was a huge mistake... Bcoz, on check in, the extension was not permitted as the property was fully booked...
however the property was excellent... It is within a apartment... The room was decorated and equipped with all modern amenities, attached kitchen with all necessary crockeries ... Overall, it was a beautiful hotel and highly recommendable.

It was nice about 5 blocks from subway. You can walk it but take your time, very hot. Grocery stores close, go out of hotel take a left, not a right then a left on first block and you will be on the main street of stores. Reception at the time not well on directions. Cooked in kitchen and had nice fridge.

Nice size apartment in need of a thorough cleaning

The 1 bedroom apartment was very spacious and the staff was very friendly, however the apartment showed numerous signs of wear and tear. Needed to be painted terribly. Bad odor from not being thoroughly cleaned for quite some time. Doors, kitchen cabinet doors, etc. were covered in grime. With some good old fashioned cleaning and painting, this place could be awesome.

Quite Appartment with all you need.

I stayed for just one night and really liked this Appartment nad really love to stay again here.It has large rooms and a kitchen for families too.Appartment has evwry necessary this for a quite and comfortable stay.

The reservations link given in their website will re directs you to a Windows Live Mail account
A big downside! the email from the hotel needs to be changed to a more accessible one. Noisy guest in the above party room dragging furniture. The swimming pool was closed. Linings and towels smell clean and I did not have the urge to scratch meaning there was not body lice or itching mites. The Burjuman Mall and Centrepoint made my shopping easy. Some markets nearby including a Carrefour. Using the metro allowed me to commute quickly to different locations such as; from metro stations I got to the Airport Terminals 1 and 3. I went to terminal 2 by taking the free shuttle bus from terminal 3. And also try to move quicker by taking the metro at Burjuman (Red line) to the Union station. At the Union station (Red Line) I transferred to the Union (Green Line) towards Creek station. Then I got off on the station Dubai Airport Free Zone. I then asked where to go to catch bus 31. It took me straight to terminal 2. The lady at the reception was jovial and made my check in quick & accommodating, the cleaning guy was proactive professional & customer service oriented. Management was receptive to my before arrival requests. The hotel personnel were great. I was somewhat pleased and regardless of some small issues I will stay there again and I do recommend it to other travelers.

Convenient and roomy

Paid about $45 USD night for 4 night in Feb 2015. The apartment was quite large with living room, large fridge and stocked kitchen and 1.5 bath. For the price it was a great bargain. It was about 3 blocks from two different metro stops serving different lines and walking distance to a few restaurants.

Wifi was weak in my corner room, but sufficiently accessible, and free, in the hotel lobby. Breakfast was a bit lacking, but it was convenient. Remember that you do have to pay a tourist/hotel tax for each person upon arrival.

Let down by some staff

I stayed for five nights in Feb/Mar 2015 in a deluxe apartment with a queen size bed.

You get a decent size apartment for your money but I had issues with reception staff/housekeeping that significantly let the place down.

You are a good distance from the decent beaches and I would not stay either here on in the area again.

Great place at a very good price!

Stayed there for 6 nights, all the staff was very kind and helpful. Despite having checked in early at 9am, wasn't charged extra. Staff was very pleased to help with every information. Good location and easy access to required places around i.e. market, grocery stores, malls, metro at a walking distance of max 10mins. Very pleased with the prices offered and worth every penny. Will look forward to stay again.

City hotel in busy residential area

I booked a one bed apartment and the place was huge! It was clean, with a flat screen TV, sofa, coffee table, large kitchen and dining table. The bedroom was also huge with an ensuite. There was a separate washroom in the hallway.
The location was a little difficult to find. It is very close to the Bur Juman shopping mall, and about 15 minutes from the airport by cab.
Parking is free in the basement.

Awesome place!

This place is fantastic! I got upgraded to the apartment which is equiped with a kitchen, large living room, bedroom and two toilets! The belcony overlooks the city. It is not central Dubai, but very easy to get to. Only about 15 minutes walk to the nearest Metro station and only about 5 stops to Burj Khalifa/Dubai Mall. The service is fantastic, and they even allowed a late check-out of 1pm. Great place and great price!

they have a sister partner and change without ask.

they changed me from hotel maple to hotel apartment without asking when I went there they told me that I have not booked any room in there, but after some call and seeing my booking references they called and told me that they have changed to another hotel and they sent me away fro 2 blocks away hotel by walking in that hotel which they even did not helped my luggage to be transferred to that hotel. they are very bad with customer services and clean with their hotel.

Clean spacious hotel in good location

Hotel apartment was lovely , we had a one bedroom on the fourth floor with a balcony with a view towards burj khalifa. It was spacious with a kitchen, large sitting/dining room, bathroom and bedroom with large queen bed and an extra cloakroom which was handy. Location was perfect, 10 minute walk to metro station and located centrally to all places of interest. 24 hour spinneys supermarket located close by which came in very handy.
We did not use the facilities much as we were out most of the time however the gym was lovely and new and had a fantastic view of burj khalifa and all the other skyscraper landmarks in Dubai. I would definitely come and stay here again.

Not as Xclusive as i thought

Overall, I was not particularly satisfied with my stay. There is nothing in particular that I can point out and say ruined my stay, but the overall experience in that hotel was not the best.
The lobby always smelled like stale unappetizing cooking, the location was difficult to find - taxi drivers constantly got lost trying to find it, and the TV channels are mainly Indian.
On the plus side, the rooms are spacious and comfortable, and are ideal for a small family visiting Dubai.

As I mentioned, there is no solid reason for my dissatisfaction... but I was not impressed nor happy with the experience... far less than Xclusive in my humble opinion.

Under renovation but wasn't too noisy. Took an HOUR for my room to be ready. It was suddenly ready when I threatened to cancel my reservation. Room appeared clean but I washed all the dishes I used. Good hotel for exploring Dubai

The apartment was clean, spacious and perfect for use as a base for exploring the city.
We spent most of our time out and about discovering what the city had to offer, and the location of the apartments allowed relatively easy access to taxi, bus and metro (albeit a short walk away).
I would recommend to anyone looking to spend a few days in Dubai, as it was ideal for our purposes and reasonably priced. However, it may not be suitable for everyone, as the pool is tiny, and facilities are not on a par with the larger chain hotels closer to the city centre/ beach areas.
Overall though, excellent value for money! Be warned though that construction work is still on-going at a site next to the apartments, and this starts at around 6am most mornings! A morning wake up call for us, but not to everybodies taste!

Capacity of room types

We booked through Expedia as it showed how many adults the room could accommodate.
3 adults was very clear for the level we booked, but to make sure we said it again in the Special Requests - queen bed as listed for the room, plus an extra single bed for the third adult. This was not in the room, nor where 3 towels etc, this took repeated requests to get.

Eventually, the hotel was kind enough to upgrade us at no extra to a larger room after so many hassles, this was most appreciated. Thank you.
Expedia should not show capacity 3 when the hotel only wants 2 in a room!

Great value and location

A great place to stay in terms of value for money.
Well located for getting around and seeing Dubai. Lots of taxis passing by with Dubai Mall, Creek, Airport and Karama areas under 10 minutes away. Jumeirah and Marina areas about 20 minutes. Bus and metro stations near by too.
Supermarket and a mall within 5 minutes walk.
Staff very helpful and keen to make your stay comfortable.

Good location - burjaman mall and a supermarket 1 block away - metro 1 block further but taxis easy to get - set amongst other apartment buildings so little in the way of strip shopping - 1 bedroom apartment very spacious and clean
Rollaway bed was not prepared and shabby.
Took several calls to get it arranged after our 2am arrival
Overall good value and would happily stay again

Fantastic Hotel, Great Service

From the pick up at the airport, to the hotel was a good experience. I would have given 5 star but the internet was erratic and there was no bath tub. The room was spotless and the front desk was always willing to help. The metro is 10-15 mins walk but there are taxis for 10 Dirhams. There is Spinneys not too far from the hotel if you want to cook or get fruits and cold drinks.

Nice central hotel but staff need training!

Having arrived in Dubai at 9am from flight. We aimed to leave bags at hotel and explore until 2pm. We were told very vaguely that it might be 2pm or up to 4pm and they was no way of knowing which as apparently, guests don’t check-out at 12pm like required, they do as they please and stay longer, meaning housekeeping cannot revamp rooms. This is very frustrating and shows a lack of strong management, every hotel I know has strict check-out time and given knock on door to get you out on time. So, we arrived back later than expected at 4pm, and no room was ready. After kicking up a fuss, they eventually found us a room!!

Then another day, after the room had been cleaned, there were no clean towels and the ones we had been using had been taken away and it took until midnight to be able to shower or dry hands. Apart from those issues due to bad management, the rest of the trip was good, room service was good and cheap. They even gave us a free cake for birthday for one of our party which made up a little for disastrous issues.

Rooftop pool and Jacuzzi was very nice addition also, there is a gym too but we didn’t use it. We had lovely bedroom and lounge and kitchen area fully stocked. Would recommend the hotel but management need to improve and their reception customer service skills.

Good value for the cost

Overall I would recommend this hotel as the value is good for the cost.. The hotel looks like it has been recently renovated and has a very nice gym and pool area. The maid service was good and our room was kept clean for a long stay (9 days). The location, in Bur Dubai (old city), is convenient as it is within walking distance of shopping, the Creek, and the Metro. The only disadvantages were the surprisingly high charge for internet access, and the hotel staff's service. They forgot to give us a wake-up call we ordered, had to be called several times for even simple requests like extra towels, and some did not speak English that well. Overall though this is still a good choice if you have a longer stay in Dubai and can manage your own plans.

Hotel review

Our room was cleaned everyday and we had fresh towels and linen. The staff were very helpful and the hotel is in walking distance of the metro.

Just OK.Good but needs to improve.

Each and everything about this hotel was great except for the speed of service.We visited and stayed at this hotel in the last week of Jan 2013.The location is decent and the hotel is clean and upto date.The staff is soft spoken and courteous.Rooms and decor are also good.The only drawback was that there was a shortage of staff and for anything we wanted we had to call them atleast 2-3 times in the gap of ten minutes each.Maybe they are under staffed or they couldn't reach up with 100% occupancy because of the Dubai shopping festival.It is the managements responsibility to arrange for extra staff at such times because the kind of money we paid we expect perfect and prompt service.Other drawbacks include they not providing free Internet and free pick and drop from the airport.I would go again included we are promised better service at good rates.

My check in was late, due to some maint. in the room. In a quiet place, no traffic, nice neighborhood, Very good parking. very good for families.

Very good and fantastic place to stay. Metro is about 6 mins walk. front desk checked us in pretty fast. Will come again. Will give four star as my room didn't have a bath tub.

last minute trip to Dubai

It was a late booking and on arrival we were kept waiting over 40mins while a member of staff tried to find the booking, we were very tired because we had flown on a late night flight and wanted to get to bed.
The room was basic but adequate for a long weekend stay, the bed was very comfortable and the room clean.
We did not use the dinning facilities, however we did make use of the pool, the jacuzzi was a little too warm and the pool was very cold so neither used
Overall our stay was pleasant hotel was within walking distant of the metro which we made use of to get around

Facilities: Basic; Value: Acceptable price, Reasonable, OK for Eid al-Adha time; Service: Professional, Respectful, Friendly, the driver was great; Cleanliness: Hygienic , Tidy, Nice;
The floor could have been cleaner and catlery could have been better washed. The blankets were too hot and there was no lighter blankets awailable

Good experience at low Cost

Hotel Location is excellent. Staff is very gentel. Indian Food is available inside at v.affordable price even onion Bhajiya can order by Al-Carte.Break fast is Excellent.
Its a new property. Freely offer Airport Pic up drop facility. Absolouteley worth to Stay Hear.

I wouldn't recommend this hotel

The room was very clean and a great size. The location however was not central at all, we had to get taxis everywhere we wanted to go. Unfortunately the staff were completely incompetent. We missed the major attraction we wanted to do because the staff didn't follow up on the booking and confirmation. We also had staff book a smaller tour and nobody turned up to pick us up for that either. I would not recommend this hotel at all

Great Rooms, Bad Service

Nice clean rooms. I have to agree with another reviewer that water in the shower is just warm/hot and no adjustment. Service is bad, anything we called the front desk for, they did not respond to. Whether we called for wifi info or someone to pickup the bags there would never be a response.

Filthy and old hotel

This hotel might have been good 20 years ago but from that time there was most likely no change of furniture or reconstruction.
But you can survive old cabinets or couch but the main issue is that there is a weird smell around hotel and rooms and that the room was simply not clean, mold in the shower and other places, dust on every lamp and the main dusty couch in Premium Appartment was a joke - we dared not to sit on it.

Only the location is good and hotel staff was nice and helpful (e.g. when we asked for new clean sheets).

It has been the worst value for money ratio ever and after 1 day we were out.

In the middle of night around 4pm, the fire alarm was activated by mistake.

Inside of bed has bugs so my body was very itchy..
Refrigerator makes sound each 10mins…
