The room floor was not clean, I was given a room with a balcony but firstly you cannot use it as too small secondly you could not even open the curtains as the room was being overlooked by a building opposite. In this instance there should be 2 sets of curtains, one sheer so as to be obscure to a degree but most importantly to let natural light into the room

The staff at this hotel were great. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. Rooms are a bit dated, but comfortable and, during our stay, very quiet The breakfast is nice. For the price the hotel is a good value. Walking distance to Old Dubai City and the creek (to catch a boat to the souks across the river). Lots of good restaurant options. About a 10 min walk from the Metro, then 15 mins on the metro for the Burj and DIFC etc. Neighborhood is safe. Largely a residential area with a majority SE Asian population.

\"I am writing this to address your defensive and inaccurate response. I have documented proof of my experience that directly contradicts your claims:
The Deposit: I have the receipt proving that a cash deposit was demanded. For a solo traveler, being forced to pay an unexpected cash deposit is unprofessional and stressful.
The State of Room 114: I stand by every word. Anyone can walk into Room 114 and see the massive concrete wall inches from the window and smell the foul, lingering odor. Giving a guest the worst room in the hotel and then calling their description ‘misleading’ is dishonest.
The Service: My nephew was a witness to the entire encounter. Your claim that the Duty Manager 'personally offered assistance' is false. I was left to struggle with heavy luggage alone after my help was barred from the floor, which is why the situation became distressing.
It is disappointing that instead of apologizing for the poor hygiene and lack of service, you chose to attack the guest. I was so uncomfortable that I chose to lose my prepaid money and leave immediately rather than stay in such a depressing environment. I have kept my receipts and will be escalating this matter to the Al Khoory corporate office.

The hotel was good in terms of staff, cleanliness, and breakfast.
Its location is also very convenient, with two metro stations within a short walking distance.

However, there was a major issue: a building right next to the hotel is currently under construction, and the noise was extremely loud throughout the day, starting early in the morning.

Another problem was the deposit. The amount they returned to me in cash was less than what I had originally paid. When I asked, they said it was because of taxes, which didn’t make any sense and wasn’t explained properly.

the property is old not clean, however, area convenient, staff nice, it is in the Burjuman area where many Indian gathers, shops and restaurants.
May not be ideal for family travel, OK for business travelers who want to save money yet still convenient to access the transport system, easy to buy things. few supermarkets around. 13 minutes walk to the intersection of green and red metro which is not bad for the price.

This is a great option for your stay in Dubai. Budget friendly, clean hotel located near subway, about 10 minute walk. There are plenty of stores, a shopping mall, and restaurants in the area. The hotel staff made the bed and folded the towels almost every day, and stocked new water bottles. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. On the negative side the water pressure in the bathroom was underwhelming. The bed was on the hard side, even though it had additional padding. Otherwise, I highly recommend it.

We were initially drawn to this hotel by its attractive pricing and convenient proximity to the metro. However, the photos proved to be slightly misleading. The property is showing signs of age, with dated interiors, sluggish internet, and a bed that left something to be desired in terms of comfort. There are no fitness or pool facilities available, but given the affordable rates, it serves as a reasonable option for budget-conscious travelers. This hotel was exceptional. The staff were among the most accommodating and friendliest people of most hotels I've stayed in. The breakfast was amazing and fulfilling. And the room was clean and relaxing. My only con would be the fact that the metro was a bit of a walk. Other than that, my family and I enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this place.

La zona parece insegura pero debo reconocer que no pasó nada. El último dia pedimos a la recepción que nos llame un taxi para trasladarnos al aeropuerto y nos mandó una auto privado. Eso no nos gustó entonces salimos a la calle y paramos un taxi por nuestra cuenta.

This is a great hotel, excellent location close to alot of local restaurants and shopping. Close to Supermarkets, malls and restaurants.

The staff are very courteous, and extremely helpful.

I would like to thank the staff Muhad, Sylvne, one other young gentleman and 2 of the young ladies staff who were very helpful and all are a great asset for the hotel. Kudos to all for your hard work and dedication.

I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely stay here again in the near future.They all made our stay comfortable and enjoyable. Thank you all. 🙏

It is a very nice hotel. The location is on a quiet road but near to the bustle of that area if you want it. Near two metro stations. Staff are lovely, polite and always there to help if needed. The breakfast is a little basic but all the options are there and you can fill up. Air conditioning is good. Only issue I had was with water leaking out of the shower (or maybe up from the drainage cover) into the bathroom each morning after a shower. This meant leaving towels on the floor to soak it up each day, which in turn needed replacing each day. I dont think the television worked either but i didnt need it. Wifi was very good. I would stay there again.

Embarrassing Experience - Not Worth the Money**

I booked a room at Al Khoory Inn for my family, and I was utterly embarrassed when they showed me pictures of the room. I paid a high price expecting decent service and a clean, comfortable space, but everything about this stay was disappointing.

First of all, the room was not clean. There were visible stains on the furniture, dust on the surfaces, and the bathroom was in unacceptable condition. It was clear that proper attention had not been given to housekeeping.

On top of that, we were charged extra property fees that were never mentioned at the time of booking. These fees seemed completely unjustified and added to the frustration of an already disappointing stay.

To make matters worse, the Wi-Fi was terrible. It was slow and unreliable, which made it difficult for my family to stay connected. This was especially frustrating given the additional charges we faced.

Overall, this was a regrettable experience. For the amount of money I spent, I expected much better. I wouldn't recommend staying at Al Khoory Inn until they improve their service and transparency. This was a huge letdown.

Excelent no frills basic clean hotel with out unnecessary luxuries. Basic breakfast included. Short walk to Burjum,an interchange metro station allow access to most sights of Dubai. Also area around Sharaf DG metro station has many shops and restaurants. Only criticism of room was that shower not provided wif door or curtain, consequently floor was always wet after use

We like the location of the hotel. It is very close to Mena Bazar an old souk. 10 Mins walk from Dubai Creek. You can take a 5-minute boat ride to go to the other side and another 5 minutes to the world-famous gold souk. Overall, from the hotel to all the old Dubai attractions is pretty close. If you would like Asian food, this would be your haven. There are so many restaurants around this hotel that are open 24/7.

The hotel is quite nice inside and staff is friendly and helpful. They even extended my check-out time one hour as I had to catch a late flight at night once I left and helped keeping my suitcase after checkout.

On the negative side: 1) the area is nothing special, and I got to pay a rate that was relatively high (for the same money, I got a hotel close to Dubai Marina just on the few days before my stay in Bur Dubai); 2) the room was facing on a construction site just next to the hotel, so the view was absolutely horrible; 3) even though the hotel is on a very quiet street, there is noise coming from the temple for the prayers at 5:30 am; 4) rooms on the first floor are so close to the lobby and to the restaurant that at night you can hear all the conversations in the lobby, in addition than the noise from the restaurant in the very early morning when they are setting things up for breakfast; 5) the drain of the shower of my room was quite slow, so if I showered for more than 4-5 minutes I ended up flooding the entire bathroom.

Despite the few issues, it was overall good.

The property was clean and all, but no services to help get luggages and the automatic door did not work so you have to pull your luggages with no help and still open the heavy door to walk through. Also limited transportation in this area.It took me me over an hour to catch a taxi in the very hot, humid and sunny weather. I was trying to get to gold souk. The hotel can arrange taxis, however, a booked taxi is more expensive than getting the taxi in the local yourself.

The staff are really great. Always ready to help. Whatever you ask, this hotel has it (dental kit, shaving kit etc.) Which even 5 star hotels save money on these days. It is many small things that make things better overall. Rooms are great, bright with temprature control etc.

One improvement in my view is breakfast. It was a let down.

Staff and service needs an improvement like keeping 2 towels when 2 travellers are staying. Keeping hand towel set rather on demand. Reservation pax was courteous to fit in all the needs, thanks for that.
Major issue was hot water which was very unstable as it was either very hot or very cold, mixed seems not working. Aircon vent option was making my room chill at 21 degree Celsius. :((
