Great location with a friendly helpful staff. This hotel is an experience with lots of Arabian flavor and charm. The rooms are clean enough and everything worked. Hot water could take awhile for showers but eventually warmed up. We would stay here again.

Rejoice and Mr.Paul were incredibly helpful, patient and knowledgable and went above and beyond expectations whenever we asked for their assistance.
We did order a meal from room service which had an odd odour and my meal was inedible so that was an a waste of money.
We had tried to eat in the Bodhi Cafe ( i understand that this is not run by Arabian Courtyard but had to leave due to the very overpowering use of incense and very loud music. In the past we have eaten Egyptian food at the Pharoahs (?) restaurant which was outstanding but as there was a function on we were unable to get a table.

I am writing to formally express my deep dissatisfaction with the unethical and unprofessional treatment I have received from Arabian Courtyard Hotel regarding my recent reservation. I cancelled my reservation two days before my schedule check -in, Yet I was still charged for the full four- days stay. Despite multiple attempts to resolve this fairly, including four emails and multiple phone calls, their management has been completely unresponsive, Shockingly, my calls were even hung up twice, which is entirely unprofessional and unacceptable. Asa good will gesture, I requested to be charged for only one night instead of the four- full day stay. Even Expedia intervened d on my behalf, they refuse to coperate. This conduct is not only unethical and unprofessional but also potentially illegal under consumer protection law. I demand an immediate refund for the excessive charged beyond a one -night stay. I am prepared to escalate this matter to Dubai's Department of Tourism.

The hotel is suited for 1 group of people who albeit are catered well by the host do not care. Breakfast was one of the worst experience I have ever encountered. It was worst than a zoo. Staff were trying, guest were the problem, filling 2/3 plates, I even saw some filling containers.
In terms of the accommodation, it is not 5 star, however a facelift is required.
I witnessed an incident with front reception staff, reprimanding a member of the cleaning staff in front of guest. This was nothing less than bullying, I have taken the matter up with management and awaiting a response.`if a response is not forthcoming I intend to communicate the incident.

Large but loud room

The public spaces in the hotel are in good condition but hotel rooms could do with some serious refreshing. My room was on the 1st floor, right on the street, hence very loud. I could not sleep all night as, in addition to constant traffic noise, there was some work ongoing and I had the sound of trucks and machines right outside the window all night. The mattress is also very hard. When I told the counter about my experience, they did not seem very bothered. I will not stay again.

The website's high ratings raised my expectations, but unfortunately, the experience fell short. While the location was convenient, the rooms need significant updates, as the one we stayed in was overly dark. Although the towels and linens were clean, they were noticeably worn and in need of replacement. The service was commendable, but the hotel could benefit from some much-needed upgrades to enhance the overall guest experience. Lastly, there was no mention of the Dubai Museum being closed for nearly two years, which is a highlight of the location.

Great Authentic Dubai Hotel

Our stay was amazing. From the time our taxi pulled up till we departed, we were treated extremely well. We arrived early in the day and the receptionist gave us our rooms early. What large, spacious rooms they were too. Comfortable beds and a spacious bathroom. Good shower. We even had a separate lounge with a sink and microwave. The staff were amazing greeting us each time as long lost friends. Everyone was so willing to help. Swimming pool looked great but unfortunately ran out of time to have a swim as there was too much to do. Our room was serviced well providing bottles of water which was much appreciated. Beds lovely and comfortable. Would love to return.

At the time of Check-in, the room was dirty and dirty, water was leaking. We asked for another room they charged extra for the family room and we found cigrattes on the carpets. VERY BAD SERVICE THEY DESTROYED MY VACATION. I HAVE A VIDEO AND PICTURE WITH THE HOTEL STAFF IN THE ROOMS.

the service at the desk was terrible, i was a couple of hours early due to my flight, my room was ready but they still charged me. The Ac didn't work in my room. The TV had only 4 English speaking channels as oppose to the many offered. The tap in the new room offered was broken and the towels we hard and discoloured.

The location was amazing. The comfort of the bed was not to my taste. It was hard. The room was spacious, bathroom was a bit smaller than an average Emerati toilet. The wood varnish was a bit too dark and had darkened to room much darker. Could have been a bit more light natural varnish.

Hotel was situated on the busy street which is great for my tour purpose.

I was just disappointed that the hotel refused to reissue unused food vouchers that I paid for, but did not use on the appointed day during my stay. I tried to use it the next day and they declined it, and further refused to reissue it.

I've been to many hotels in my life, and I would NOT call this a hotel.

I booked it for two nights, and left the hotel in the MIDDLE of the FIRST night for a different hotel.

The windows had paint, dirt, scratches all over them. There were weird holes in the ceiling. Nothing in the hotel had been cleaned in a long time it seemed. All the outlets were physically broken. EVEN the main elevator was more dirty and awful than I could have imagined, it seemed as if people were just spitting in it and no one was cleaning it.

I was planning on leaving the day after I checked in because of the conditions, but the reason I just had to leave in the middle of the night was because of the night manager.

He was a Pakistani guy, I forget his name, but he DID NOT KNOW how to speak with another HUMAN BEING. Most disrespectful person I've ever encountered. Even simple genuine questions or requests, he completely threw a tantrum about.

The location is excellent, close to the old Dubai and the street markets. Lots of restaurants, shops, groceries, etc nearby. Staff was very friendly and helped us at all times.

Great service by reception desk, the restaurant at the 7th floor and the cleaner who took care of our room.

The room looks a bit dated but everything works and it was not an issue. No outside noise, TV had western channels and aircon works really well. I'd stay there again and recommend the hotel to other travelers who want to stay near the old Dubai, instead of the flashy new districts. Thank you for the great service.

I had the worst and horrible experience at this Hotel - the room carpet was completely soaked in water and my night pajamas got wet by the wet carpet and I had to sleep wearing pants with total discomfort- when asked to change the room they had no room available and the housekeeping put some towels on the carpet which soon got soaked as well - they changed the room next day but that room was bad too with no running hot water in the shower

I have regularly stayed here. Unfortunately lately the management has become awful especially the front desk. They do not provide any upgrades or any perks to expedia members who are platinum even though they mention they do. Also for just asking for 1 hr late checkout after they did not updrade room or any perks they blankly now ask for money. Also the lobby has become full of sketchy people during the evening and looks more like a pickup joint. I would recommend this place to families or single women. During my stay police were called for a drunken brawl.

The hotel itself needs maintenance, I was stuck in the elevator for 30 mins before they managed to rescue me out. Not very clean either, the turndown service doesn’t do much.
However, the surrounding area is good. Close to metro and the Souq.

This hotel is surrounded by shops. 15 to 30 minute Depends on the traffic closer to the airport. All the activities like the frame, global village etc was closer. Calling Uber was no problem. From the desk staff, housekeepers were very helpful any time of the day. The restaurant in the hotel had good food.

Hotel checkin was chaotic with people jumping the queues and staff did not step in to manage the queues. There was only one girl checking in and checking out guests. Beware of the mosquitoes in the lounge area!

Really Disappointed that hotel charged us for breakfast but did provide the breakfast take out on the day of early checkout at 6:00 am with kids!

Room was good size with little kitchenette however we had issues with lights not working which took few attempts to fix. Housekeeping was good but there was never enough complimentary water in room for all the guest.

Staff were pleasant and happy to assist when required. Shuttle service to LeMer beach was also good.

Location not recommended for relaxing holiday. Area is surrounded by markets, very dusty

Definitely not a 4 star hotel….Having stayed in so many hotels and for Dubai standards i would give it 2 stars.
