Worst hotel i have stayed.

This is the worst hotel i have seen in my life. Checked in here at 3.30 am on 9th of June and the lobby and facade all seems nice. I was given a room and as soon as i entered the room there were 2 things wrong. First the aircondition was not working as i wanted and secondly the air coming out of the aircondition was full of mould and other particles. I informed the night manager Sanket and he showed me 3 more rooms which were all the same and worse and one of them smelt like ciggaretes. I did shower because i reached dubai from London in the first room. I could not live there and checked out. I have been waiting for a refund from hotels.com as i think there should not advertsis this hotel as a luxury hotel. Whoever is reading my review needs to inspect this hotel before putting it in the luxury category.

We stay at Savoy Suites for a total of 6 nights, the breakfast was wonderful, there were many options to satisfy different needs. I would say the best part of our experience was the staff, the service from the staff was exceptional in my opinion. I would definitely stay there again if I were to go to Dubai. Location was good for going to the Spice and Gold Souk and Indian Shopping.

I would not recommend this place it unless you are forced to be in that area. Main bedroom smelled moldy. They claim \"Washer/Dryer\" per Expedia, but you are expected to hang your clothes in the balcony area! Washing machine smelled bad and seemed to have never been cleaned.

ZAZ - Zero Alcohol Zone!

Not the best hotel choice for Dubai 7s Rugby fans, who have a tendency to enjoy a beer or three with their sport - not only in the stadium, but also in the evenings after the matches have ended. The Savoy Suites does not have a bar, and does not serve alcohol in any other areas such as the pool, or main lobby. If we had realised this, my friends and I would not have booked this hotel. It would be helpful if this deficiency could be clearly pointed out on the hotels.com entry for this property.

We arrived late and upon entry to room the bathroom had a significant leak - the staff quickly repaired but at 2am the last thing you want is to have to wait for room repairs on a vacated room. Secondly you have to turn the hot water on in room which we were not told about and switch location and signage is poor - so a cold shower wasnt a great start to next day

Home away from home!

Love this place!!! I hunted for a location which provided the amenities that they offer, close to shopping and in a neighborhood to purchase groceries for minimal food preparation. Room service, breakfast, super comfortable bed and sheets. New smart/roko streaming TV!!!! Spacious bathroom with tub/shower. Couch and eating table. Pool and upper deck. Just like the photos. My 3rd visit and will go back again because its so convenient to everywhere. Taxi rides can get you most places in 20 minutes. The hotel does offer shuttles to some locations.

DID NOT FEEL PARTICULARLY SAFE AS A SINGLE FEMALE GUEST AS A MALE STAFF GOT OFF THE ELEVATOR ON THE SAME FLOOR THEN SAT AT THE CONSOLE TABLE BY THE ELEVATOR BANK AND GOT ON A MOBILE PHONE AS I WAS SPEAKING TO ANOTHER GUEST.

HOT WATER HEATER RUNS OUT OF HOT WATER DURING LONG SHOWERS OR IF ONE SHOWERS AFTER WASHING DISHES OR WHILE USING THE WASH MACHINE.

INTERNET IS OCCASIONALLY SPOTTY.

THERE IS A STEAM ROOM AND SAUNA FOR MALES BUT ONLY A SAUNA FOR FEMALES. FEMALES NEED TO GO TO ANOTHER PROPERTY TO USE A STEAM ROOM.

UNIT HAS SLIDING DOORS TO SEPARATE THE BED AREA FROM THE REST OF THE UNIT.

SIZE OF UNIT IS LARGER THAN STANDARD HOTEL ROOMS.

HOTEL PROVIDED COMPLIMENTARY BOTTLE OF WATER AND ADDITIONAL VIP PERK INCLUDED FRUIT PLATE AND ROOM UPGRADE TO A BALCONY ROOM.

Its run down and I was given a room was on the 1st floor (very close to the street) and very noisy. I felt I was sleeping on street... My room was also not ready upon arrival and and I arrived after the check in time. Room was suppose to come wiyh a braekfast buffet but instead they had a fixed menue to chose from and no buffet, and the food was old and horrible. Basically they want you to pay for something and they offer nothing or somthing totally different. The pics on expedia are deceiving and do not reflect the run down condition of the place...

We stayed here with our 2 year old toddlers for 10 nights. The room cleanliness as well as the hotel was excellent. The housekeeping staff were very polite and courteous at all times. Breakfast buffet had variety of options I would only say if they could include more cereal options for the kids. There is a great chef on ready to make your choice of eggs. The hotel is located at very close to 2 metro’s AlFahidi and Burjuman. You can easily get to Mall Dubai and other places such as Gold Souk. There is also Westzone Supermaket very close by. The hotel room we stayed in had everything as prescribed by the hotel. Since we had toddlers we also received as requested a cot . I can honestly say Travelling with kids we have enjoyed our stay very much. Thank you all for the lovely hospitality and I we hope to come back again. I would like to say the Housekeeping staff work so hard and are always smiling it left us with such a great impact.

We booked three rooms at this property and thoroughly enjoyed our stay with kids. We received a warm welcome from Usman the manager when we first checked in as if he knew us personally. All the staff were just as courteous and friendly. The rooms were very spacious and extremely clean. The kitchen facilities were also perfect, not to mention one of the most comfortable beds I have slept in! We look forward to staying here again.

I liked that they had 2 electrical adapters in the room and that was the best part of the hotel. I didn’t like the old refrigerator, the leaking faucet (in the bathroom) when you turn it on, the loose faucet in the small kitchen, the outdated bathroom, living and bedroom (need update/upgrade). I didn’t like that I was told my sister & niece had to pay 120 aed per night per person to stay in the room with me (they got to Dubai before me and was supposed to stay with me) when it was a 2 person occupancy room and only one had to pay!!! That prompted them to get another hotel room at another hotel!!! They paid less than the total 240 aed and had a better room at the Park Regis hotel!!!

3 Star Hotel with 5 Star Service with a smile

We had a lovely stay at this hotel/apartment. Service from check in was excellent. However, was disappointed about not being provided with a baby cot - a hotel/ chain like this should really have more baby cots. Also, cleanliness of the rooms especially with regards to vacuuming the carpets and floors needs to be improved. Non-smoking rooms should not allow smoking, even on the balcony as the smoke inevitably drifts inside.
Breakfast was good (try the omelettes). There's a pool on the roof top and a gym which close at 11 pm (neither of which we tried as we didn't have time).
A special mention must be made of the excellent staff- they were always courteous and friendly, and paid special attention to our children, especially the baby who is crawling and learning to walk. On the day of our check out I mentioned to a staff member that it was our anniversary and the hotel surprised us with a lovely cake, balloons and singing to wish us for our anniversary as we checked out (they were also kind enough to give us a late check out!). The front office manager Mr. Saduker together with his staff is doing an excellent job.
Location is not too bad as there is a 24 hour supermarket as well as takeaways/fastfood places 5 to 10 minutes walk away. Mercardo is also nearby, offering souvenirs and memorabilia at very reasonable prices.

I was pleasantly surprised to find this hotel so nice. It does not take much to please me so this hotel was more than what i expected. Clean, comfortable room, black out drapes. If i do have one issue it was the wash machine, it would not stop when cleaning my clothes but i think the timer was bad. Other then that i would definitely stay at this hotel again. Staff very nice and friendly and quick to answer your question. Close to Burjuman Mall and the Burjuman Metro station, about 10 minute walk. The room was quite and the bed was comfortable.

The hotel Managers and staff were very friendly, helpful and good. The breakfast was very good and the menu change every morning. The location is good. Shops and restaurants were nearby. However, only one free bottle of water provided for us during our 4 days stay. Only 2 towels provided but we'd booked a room for 3 persons.

The Perfect home to enjoy Dubai!

The hotel is in a great location in the Old Town not far from the Burjuman metro which has both green and red lines so we had easy access to travel to all the sites. The breakfast was very good and really kept us full for most of the day. The studio has a kitchenette so we also stopped by the supermarket for extra snacks. The rooftop pool was a great way to cool off. I can’t say enough for the staff as they accommodated us with every request.

AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE

Firstly when we arrived at the hotel, we were welcomed and greeted. Arrived at 7am. We checked in and were all so tired, after a long night flight. When we got to our room, we were so shocked to see the size of the room. It was a studio and we booked it for 4 people. 2 adults, 2 children (5 & 2). We knew straight away this was not going to be suitable but we were so tired that we all just slept.
I booked the hotel from the 26 Aug until 8th Sept. after getting some rest, I spoke with someone on the front desk and said can I upgrade, because the room is not suitable. They said no no. I advised them I was not asking for a freebie, I would pay. He then said we do not have any available without even checking. This annoyed me A lot. The reason I choose This hotel, we could not find 1 or 2 bedroom apartments within this location for our dates of stay. Hence why we booked a studio room in this hotel. We wanted an aprtament rather a hotel room.
Long story short, we checked out the next day, it seems like our location had a lot of rooms available. We found a 1 bedroom available for the rest of our stay. We checked out and when leaving the hotel staff wanted to help me all of a sudden. I told them, I told you about my issue and no one wanted to help. They thought since they had my money. I was not going anyway. Useless Staff and hotel. They knew that no body leaves a room paid for nearly 2 weeks unless it was a big issue. Size of the room, cleanliness of the room, layout of the room

Only 1 think I m not happy about wen I book I been told 2 botel of water free every day but giv me only 1 day free than start charge me wen ever I order! Over all is good 👍

We stayed for 10 days at the place which is very well located for Metro & taxi access. The staff are very pleasant, helpful and always with a smiling face. A few small convenient stores are 5 mins walk away & are open till late. The Hotel rooms and Common areas, Pool, Jacuzzi, Gym and Steam rooms are very well kept at all times of the day.

I would like to specially mention & thank you to Usman Sadekar he made our stay so special my mum has walking difficulty he made sure she was comfortable he also ask if we wanted to change our room so mum can be comfortable and offered a wheelchair. we will definitely come back and recommend this hotel.

Good cheap stay for central location. Dubai Mall is 20 mins one way and sharjah is 20 mins the otherway. So driving anywhere from here was pretty central.

Rooms are ok, i stayed here 10- years ago and the decor has remained the same and a bit dated now.

We had a nice quiet room at the side of the hotel, our booking said \"a room with a view\" but there was no view. We were not worried because if we had have been at the front we would have had all the traffic noise.

Great value choice in Dubai

The hotel 10 min walk from Burjuman subway or about 15 minutes (AED40-60) taxi ride from the airport. It is located in the low-rise residential expat area, a commercial area is nearby with restaurants, fast food, groceries, and pharmacy on Al Mankhool Rd. Do not confuse this hotel with Savoy Crest, which is also nearby.

During our visit to the area, we stayed there twice, the first time in room 115 and the second time in 403. Both rooms are effectively the same with the exception of the balcony for 403. Although, if you prefer quiet, you might want to opt for a no-view room. Both rooms had a king size bed and a twin pull out couch. I believe two double beds is also an option. The rooms come with a kitchenette complete with a fridge, hot plate, microwave, washing machine and utensils. Smoking is allowed on the balcony.

Very friendly service. Most aspects of the hotel are very nice, but it has been used extensively and soon will require a bit of upkeep.

Free Wi-Fi was strong and reliable. There was a free daily shuttle to the beach in the morning. On the roof, there is a very cosy pool. You can have a quick bite there with the views of Burj Khalifa. Breakfast was generous with many Middle-Eastern, European and Indian options.

Not clean, unprofessional staff, noisy

This hotel is so dirty with very limited bourse for housekeeping. Staff are unprofessional and don't have the basics of customer service & care. We never found a manager to complain, though we had to call the police to check out and get our money refunded.

The attached photos will show you how dirty they are & also how their solutions are very unprofessional & unpractical. I wish I didn't stay a single minute. Basically, they ruined my break which we needed so badly.

Nice Rooms and very helpful staff

Very Good and will be coming back next year again.
only issue i would note was that once you checked out of your room we were not able to use the Wifi.They didnt even have it in the Lobby. we had to check out at 12 and our flight was not until 9pm in the evening. We were planning on chilling on the roof top by the pool for the rest of the day.

TV can not be watched from bed,

Convenient, accessible and clean hotel.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Checking in was pleasant and were greeted by a glass of juice, which was a nice touch. Room was very roomy and clean, albeit a little dated in one or two areas, but this did not detract from the overall experience, which was good.

The Hotel is close to the metro, as well as malls, and restaurants and more importantly for our stay, a short drive to the airport. Would definitely recommend this Hotel.

Good Hotel/Apartments in mainly residential area.

We arrived early evening and whilst checking in was immediately given a juice each which was welcome. As we were there for more than 7 days they gave us a NOL card (public transport card) with 19 AED credit so saved us buying one. We were allocated a second floor studio apartment at the front of the building so had a balcony with seats and a low table. The room was good with a bedroom area which could be isolated by sliding doors from the sitting/living area. There was a TV in each area with a reasonable selection off English channels offering news/entertainment. The bathroom had bath with shower over it. There was limited self catering equipment, 2 ring hotplate, microwave, kettle, fridge and washer/dryer. Minimal crockery/cutlery/cooking equipment although a notice saying extra could be supplied. Rooms were serviced daily with tea coffee replenished. No condiments were supplied in room. The roof top pool was small but adequate but closed if it rained (it did several times). The onsite restaurant offered meals/room service at reasonable rates and there was a daily set 3 course menu that was good and excellent value. The hotel provided a daily shuttle to the beach along with towels and beach mats. The staff were attentive and friendly. As an unexpected bonus a cake was left for my wife on her birthday (no prompting must have picked it up off passports) and on valentines day a red rose was given to the ladies. All in all a nice place to stay. No alcohol is available in hotel.

Nice budget hotel with good amenities.

Brilliant staff. Everyone goes out of the way to help you out. Though they don't make big promises but silently deliver on what the client asks. Great hotel and conveniently located. Our main reason to book this was the small kitchen that they have with every room. It was important for us as we were with a small kid so found this to appropriately priced at a good location with all that we needed. Though the appliances provided are a bit dated now but overall good experience.
