The room area was unkept by guest next door to my room they will eat and leave the dirty dishes by the door 🚪 for days and house keeping will clean up the rooms and still no one will pick up those trash 🗑️. That was terrible.

Not worth the money. Except food is very good.

I had to push them to change my room due to poor bathroom condition, disaster aircon & Iron not working, not once but 3 different ones due to loose socket.
Second room little better but bathroom same as first room, felt like it wasn't cleaned in years, mould on tiles everywhere. I will not stay again in this hotel, i don't understand who gave such hotels 4 star rating.

The hotel looks amazing from outside but when I went in the room the ac was not working i had to change the room and also there were cockroaches in the room. The room was quite spacious but when the ac was not working and i had to change the room instead of upgrading the room they downgraded the room by giving a smaller room.

Staff were lovely! Rooms were old & needed up dating ! First room. We were put in everything was broken! Food was good !but you should provide coffee after meals ! Children were aloud to run & scream until 2 in the morning without any consideration for other guests! Disgusting!!!!!! Pool & Hussan very good but you need drink fertilities up there !

Facility was okay but NO enough lights in the room and NO toiletries were replenished each day. Key will NOT work every day and very inconvenience to shuffle between the room and lobby. PCR test provided by hotel IS ABSOLUTELY not good and will NOT recommend to any. They hiked the price due to the US time restriction and accept ONLY cash and did NOT give the report until few hours before my flight which caused too my tension.

Worst hotel. Bad front office manager who works in the night shift. Room are old and dirty, smelly and expensive compared to other hotels. Housekeeping services was bad. I called three times to clean my room for 3 days and until 8 or 9pm they won’t clean.

No way can this hotel be 4 star. I am sure the property had its glory days, dilapidated is how best it can be described.

Wifi - terrible and not good enough if you need to work.

Bathroom - no hot water, broken door and fittings, dirty.

Cleanliness - this was the main issue. I wouldn't have bothered with the review had it been clean. Cockroaches in abundance in the room and bathroom. Furniture and light fittings with great marks. Hairs so visible on the floor and stuck in the wooden floor.

I hope Management looks into the cleanliness standards.

On the positives; good location and large spacious rooms. Pity it's not been maintained as can be a really good hotel.

Disrespectful but only hotel available

Not great. Room air conditioning broken so was extremely cold. As well as chairs being very dirty in COVID condition expected it to be thoroughly cleaned. We came early as flight was early so children were very sleepy but I don’t understand how a child taking a nap can tarnish the hotels view. So I was asked to wake my child up multiple times as well as the staff kissing their teething pointing when they saw him fall asleep again.

Just an ordinary hotel with large size rooms, not at all a 4 star property. Room cleaning should be better, towels should be more clean, bathrooms are not properly equiped and clean. We opted half board however food options were very limited.Staff is good speacially Sohail was really helpful in restaurant during breakfast and dinner time. Overall a 3 star category hotel which need some improvement in rooms.

My experience with this hotel was very bad. My friends checked in to the hotel before I arrived and the rooms were not clean. They were so tired that they asked the staff to change the sheets and went to sleep directly and didn'T tell me about it. The next morning they woke up feeling so itchy and couldn't bear it so they told the hotel about it. The staff changed the sheets again and cleaned the rooms but what was done was done. Horrible experience. can't believe this happened to us with Hotels.com

I booked this hotel because it was quite close to the airport and it offered great value for money. For less than £100 a night I got half board accommodation, the food and staff were excellent. A bit disappointed with the pool area as it only had 12 sun beds and 3 parasols. The rooms are a bit dated now and requires some maintenance, but I think that reflects in the price. Overall I enjoyed my stay.

Utter disappointment from the second you arrive. There's no one to attend to the door or help you with your luggage. The interiors seem classy in the pics but the faux wood fails to impress. Most of the switch boards in our room weren't working and there were no towels in the bathroom. You can surely do better in this city, this hotel is best avoided.

the covers were dusty, need to request for slippers and robes..no minibar though it was stated in the room description that there is., there's a certain kind of smell inside the cabinets..the breakfast wasn't that good, it's more of indian cuisine i guess, hope there's more variety or choices, especially for other nationalities dining in..there are also stains in the bed sheets..sorry but won't stay again in this hotel..

Not a 4 star hotel by any means

I choose this hotel as I had a course there, it was either The Grand Excelsior or CityMax, I ended up choosing it for convenience, although the price was favoring the later.
The This review is in two parts:
The first 5 nights, we had a serious problem with the amenities. There were no towels in the room, no toilet paper unless we called and asked for them. The \"mini bar\" as written in the description is a \"room temperature chiller\" ? As per the guest relations representative. No slippers unless requested, not enough hangers. The carpets needed cleaning, and we killed two cockroaches.
The guest guide book left in our room clearly says there is free shuttle bus to and from Burjman mall, yet the front-disk said they do not offer it any more.
The employees are very nice and apologetic, but calling reception daily to get toilet paper wares a person down.
Then our course organizer kindly spoke to the floor manager with my concerns and some other attendees of the course who had the same problems, after that we had toilet paper, water bottles, the towel set was not complete, but we always had them. And he was nice enough to offer late check out and transportation to the nearby airport in compensation. Bumping up my rating from 2 to 3 stars for effort.
The hotel is located in a nice area in bur Dubai, the hotel is in a decent condition, but for the price payed, the services provided were not worth it.
We did not try the breakfast, and lunch was included with the course.

it was amazing. i have never stayed in this hotel before. i am so so happy that i made the decision to choose this hotel this time around during my visit to dubai.. i was attended by a lovely attentive front desk lady that upgraded me to a suite. and she ensures that though the suite is a smoking room, it will not hinder my health in anyway due to my asthma. and true enough, the suite did not smell of smoke at all in fact it was perfumed in the most delicate of scent. it was relatively easy to get around in the taxi from the hotel to any of the major malls. there is a supermarket about 2mins walk from the hotel. it is safe to walk by yourself within the hotel n its surroundings. i would definitely stay here again.

I called twice before my stay to upgrade my room to one that has jacuzzi and i informed by reservation department that is okay i can pay 200 AED on the spot (check-in) and i can proceed so he told me it is confirmed. then the second time i called two days before to confirm the upgrade, unfortunately he said there is no note about your request and in all cases you can come and upgrade with no issues. on the check in time, i surprisedly informed by receptionist that there is no request to upgrade and all rooms are fully booked> i didn't receive any information for example that my upgrade subject to availability. Finally i had to pay extra more than what i informed by phone to upgrade two levels of rooms to get what i wanted. Also, the suite is not clean and doesn't have the amenities...

bathroom amentities was poor. The shower gel, shampoo, and conditioner was so small, it was not suited for any normal adult and despite it being too small, you are expected to share it with your spouse. How silly to put tiny amenities in a room for two.
floors were filthy
towels are to be shared and rarely changed unless you put it outside the room.
during the two week, stay, sheets were never changed.
staff does not listen when spoken too. They look at you and do what they want.
Speak in answer to your comments that is not relevant to the request or question made resulting in no service.
hotel restaurant had roaches and incompetent staff who doubles as waiters, cash register operators, and hotel check in attendants and room service.

They need better management!

Staff are nice and helpful. I observed guest room attendant workers working so hard to keep guest rooms clean. They deserve a lot of credit. The GYM is awesome. I doubt this hotel deserves to be a 4 star hotel. The hotel doesn't allow you to have a visitor in your room at any time but in the lobby. This sounds ridiculous and very controlling. I have never experienced this anywhere. I love to have my freedom to meet my guests in my room or in the lobby as I pleased. Due to this I gave it an overall rating 2.

we arrived at the hotel with so many guests but the receptionist are fast and very efficient in checking us in, they even called for our welcome drink! there are many elevators to choose from.we got a family room which is huge for 3 people like us. the downside is the washing lavatory , the water overflow and takes a long time to drain. The pillow cases and linen were soft and clean but the SMELL OF THE PILLOW ITSELF IS NOT GOOD, airconditioning is good.
i was just wondering why so many indians.at the lobby. it looks like a public meeting place.

The location is good the rooms are clean but service left much be desired. Perhaps this was because there were not enough staff to handle all of the different our groups who fully booked the hotel. very noisy in public areas and hard to use elevators friends who stayed on the same flor as me complained about noise from the night club which was down. That said hotel staff did respond to issue of laundry which was sent out and shrunk

This place is in the middle of Bur Dubai and Karama.On the lane connecting the two areas in Dubai. You need a taxi to go anywhere around so be prepared. Predominantly an event hotel but has decent food and a bar.

The hotel was very clean, only problem we had was the AC in the room stopped working throughout the night and it leaked a lot of water into the dressing area because of this. There is a nightclub downstairs and although our room was on the 6th floor- it was still pretty loud. It didn't bother us but it may bother others who may want to stay in the hotel. There is a local supermarket where we bought our breakfast each morning as breakfast was not included in our package. There isn't much shopping close by to the hotel and we had to take a taxi everywhere. I would stay here again but the fact we had to pay a tourist tax on top of the hotel room price when we arrived was a joke because there was nothing touristic about the area
