The hotel has excellent in house housekeeping. Rooms are comfortable and very well maintained. The staff is very friendly including housekeeping, Mohsin, Suleman, Dawood, Bilal at check in counter are excellent and exceptional, very helpful, and polite. Security staff are very friendly and polite. The hotel has excellent restaurants and breakfast facilities. Pool and gym are great, with added family for women to have Spa, sauna . Shops and restaurants are open long hours, transport is available to the beach and mall by the hotel. I would highly recommend this hotel to everyone.

I stayed at this hotel hoping for a relaxing and professional experience, but unfortunately, that wasn’t the case. Here’s what happened during my stay:
•False fire alarm at 2AM — I had to run downstairs in a robe, only to find out it was due to someone smoking in their room. It was frightening, disruptive, and not handled well.
•Strangers opened my room door — Two men tried to enter my room while I was inside. Thankfully, I had the security latch on. The front desk told me the men didn’t speak English and thought it was their room. That excuse was unacceptable — proper ID and guest name checks should be standard.
•Constant phone calls from staff — I was repeatedly called at random hours for unnecessary reasons. It disturbed my rest, especially since I often sleep in the mornings after working late.
•Key cards kept deactivating — Every time I returned to my room, the key wouldn’t work. I later realized it wasn’t even near my phone, so the cause was clearly on their side.
•Thin walls & noise — The room was not soundproof. I could hear loud voices and what sounded like parties from other rooms. Not ideal for rest.
•Terrible food — I ordered room service . It wasn’t fresh food, and later, a staff member admitted the food wasn’t made in-house — it’s bought and reheated. Completely unacceptable for a 4-star listing.
•Overall poor service — The staff didn’t feel attentive or professional.

The Jumeira Rotana is an excellent hotel near the financial district and the airport. The staff are very attentive and deal with any query raised. The hotel has a private and secure car park. It is also off 2nd December Street, a popular shopping and restaurant area. The rooms are large with excellent facilities and all at a reasonable cost

Hotel and staff great only one criticism

No issue with stay although air conditioning a little on the loud side although I didn’t complain so may be could have moved.
If I have one criticism is that the TV channels were mainly Arabic and only the odd English Channel.
For me being there on business and not necessarily for pleasure I’m not interested in staying in the bar all night and would have preferred to watch the TV in my room but this was very limited but that would be the only criticism

We stayed at Jumeirah Rotana for a week while exploring Dubai. The hotel is located near to many shops, food shops and few attractions points as well.
Our room was spacious, clean and had good ventilation.
Hotel staff was very friendly, professional and polite. Shoutout to Sandani who helped us with our check in. We had the room with view of Burj Khalifa, thanks Sandani.
Breakfast was really nice with many different options. Thanks to the Restaurant Manager who fulfilled our request for providing alternative options for breakfast.

We would have appreciated if there was an early check in option since our flight landed 6:00am and we had to check in into an expensive room because we wanted to relax after 17 hours flight.
Other than this we had a comfortable stay.

Thank you everyone. I would recommend Jumeirah Rotana to friends and family.

Don’t book this hotel

It takes about 3 hours or sometimes all night before the toilet flush is being refilled. We told them twice came once but remain the same.
The lights are switched off by itself when using the toilet or shower.
The air conditioning is not that cold.
The room service is very poor. I requested an ice bucket because my wife is vomiting. It came after an hour. Our room is suite and we stayed for 2 nights. We did not request to clean the room but requested the coffee and creamer sachet but no one came.
They demanded every visitor we had to photocopy their passport.
The breakfast has only few choices and the coffee maker is broken.
There could be a ghost there as well as some there were some strange feeling as if there were presence of unseen stimuli.

This hotel was a value for money. You will get the service beyond the price you've paid for. I stayed for 12 nights and loved being there. I will be booking here again on my next trip to Dubai. They provide a shuttle service and great dining options for which the prices are very reasonable and you will get super discounts if you are a hotel guest.

Very good value for money. We went as a family of 3 (3 year old toddler), location is excellent as it’s very central.

Breakfast is average with very limited space as the restaurant is tiny, be prepared to stand a while if you go late. As someone with a toddler, this wasnt great for us.

The A La Carte served in boston bar &grill is amazing and not pricey, highly recommend. We had half board and it was nice to choose between lunch or dinner, some hotels dont offer this option so this was a nice touch.

We had an issue with our room and the hotel was kind enough to move us to another room same night. Many thanks to Adil and Mohsin at front reception for this.

The staff at the hotel are very good and friendly, Ariful in housekeeping was kind enough to help us set up in our new room and rooms were serviced daily which is nice.

Overall I was very happy and would come back again.

The property is a kind of old with bad smells. The breakfast was not good very limited variety. The price is very expensive comparing to property, services and the breakfast. Even the location is good for first day to go to downtown. I just stayed there three nights but very regretful to booked and paid in advance.

The hotel was fantastic. Spent 6 nights with my wife and kids but, those nights just went by so quick. Breakfast, access to anywhere you wanna go, staff, just name it. The early check in, the wait allowed by the hotel because, our flight was later at night, the internet. And the number 1 thing I enjoyed was the room service by (hate myself for forgetting his name). The handsome young man was just there to make my kids happy. He used to make different things out of towels for them

The hotel was nice and the staff were kind and helpful. It wasn’t near any malls or attractions. I didn’t like that they had only one small shuttle van a day and if was full you had to take a taxi to go to the beach and back. Rooftop pool was nice but got crowded fast. Also, the area wasn’t so great. In front was land and a parking lot. No views but buildings. The food for breakfast was okay.

Check in staff Mr Mohsin was very helpful, an asset to the company and he is very professional. Made our stay very pleasant. Bevan on the check out day was also very helpful and very professional.
Room was nice and clean.. beds were comfortable.. breakfast was nice but the room is too small you have to go early.. once we went around 9.30 on friday and had to wait good 20mins to enter for breakfast.. which was not convenient with small kids.

Property is kind of central to many areas. Hotel is clean and rooms are spacious.
Recommend:
Just a mile from here is La MER you should visit.
We rented a car and it made our trip so much better and being able to visit 3 times more places that way.
Taxi can get expwnsive.
There are supermarkets and restaurants at walking distance feom the hotel.
