I’ve given this location 3 chances because of the price and location of where I needed to be. The only staff member to ever smile was a maintenance man. All three check-ins I had three different people, none of them friendly at all nor smiled or offered any sort of help even when asked. Towels/washcloths are dingy/brown, cleanliness a 2, hairs and smears of who knows what in sink and headboard of bed, floors leave your feet/socks filthy, asked front desk for extra pillows and she said she didn’t have any without even checking or offering to check, asked the owners and not only did he say “No.” He said “No! No no no!”. Very shady characters working and staying there. Not somewhere I felt safe. Breakfast was minimal and questionable. Internet and cable worked 30% of the time. I’ve stayed in some questionable places, this was not the worst.. but three strikes you’re out with me.

The room was smaller than shone on the web site. The alarm clock did not work. Whatever the nationality of the staff was difficult to understand. The day before we left, the key card didn't work. The handles in the shower were rusty.

They take a photo copy of you ID without your consent and will not give you the copy back when you check out your room. I had to call police and they called the police as well, and asked me to leave or be arrested for trespassing. Extremely UNPROFESSIONAL group of individuals. No manager on duty and they will give you an email to address issues instead of providing a phone number or any information to address any misunderstandings or issues. They have hidden policies that they won't provide documentation which leads me to believe that this establishment is SHADY and most likely set you up for Identity theft. TRAVELERS BEWARE of using BAYMONT BY WINDAM on 6712 Central Avenue pike!!!! All because I am aware of how my personal identifiable information should be handled.

We wanted to stay here for 2 nights, we left after the first night because we came back to the room and found cockroaches in there. I immediately alerted the staff at the front desk, they didn’t seem surprised about my find, they said they would switch me rooms, (I was not doing that) and we wanted to leave, they told me to email the owner about the issue, I did and haven’t heard back.

This is a terrible place to stay. We stayed there for 2 nights and the second morning we found a live GERMAN COCKROACH! We took it to the front desk and showed them and the lady at the front desk was immediately questioning us on how it got there. We had to go buy large trash bags to bag all of our belongings so we didn’t get roaches in our house. We tried contacting the manger via email and the front desk tried contacting her. We have received no response from the manager at all or any type of refund.

Biggest complaint was the bathroom door. Was splintered at the bottom and did not close properly. Needs to be replaced. Also, floor and surfaces were dirty. Socks were dirty after walking across the floor and towel was dirty after wiping night stand surface.
On the plus side, king bed was clean and very comfortable and TV was a nice size and had a good selection of channels.

This is a basic hotel/motel which is dated and quite old. We stayed because of its proximity to the I-75 and because it’s pet friendly. Cleanliness of the room, especially the bathroom, really needs to be improved. Staff were helpful, but were run off of their feet. Breakfast was surprisingly good, given the price of the room. No eggs, but Belgian waffles, etc. Area was relatively safe. Restaurants were nearby, but we drove to a mall about 2 miles away as there were many more choices. Parking is plentiful. Stay if you have to, but next time we will spend the extra money for a better option.

Breakfast was advertised as hot breakfast and only served a select fresh fruit, cereal, waffle and toast, ....with only jelly or syrup. NO butter.
Was charged an additional $50 for amenditaries that was NOT told or advertised but claimed as a deposit....but when asked about extra towels was told to wait until the next morning and get with housekeeping when my stay was ending that next morning. My room was never cleaned .

I was unable to make my Grandddaughters last ball game at the convention center because they would not allow me to stay in my room because I didn't live 100 miles away but with traffic and everything it took almost 3 hours to get there from where I live they wanted a 200$ dollar deposit in cash for me to stay why and why didn't they tell me that before hand I am 55 years old what kind of damage am I going to do by laying my head down somewhere to spend the night so I could be to my granddaughters ball game that was early on sunday morning .... I have let her down because I had to come home I had to pay someone to take me up there and now I'm out the room money my transportation money and food money and from the looks of the lobby and the employ they all needed to be cleaned it looks nothing like the photo

The apple juice was out. The area wasn’t clean. There was a dirty pitcher of water under one of the beverage machines. Front desk staff was rude. The room had a stale smell, a bug and a spider in my room. The sink was clogged. Nothing about this property shows cleanliness. Will not ever stay at this property.

My second stay here. First stay was fine, second floor facing inside towards the pool. Second stay was very different. Room 142 had roaches crawling out of the ceiling in the bathroom. Reported this to the clerk and it seemed as though my inconvenience was inconvenient to the guy. He was the least hospitable person I have ever met, and I've stayed at a lot of hotels/motels. Not an understatement. And who wears sunglasses at night? I got moved to the upstairs room and that was totally fine.

This place was so dirty and nasty. It was live cockroaches crawling everywhere. They were stuck all around the base of the toilet on the ceiling on the tables. I ordered pizza and I had it sitting on the table and had cockroaches in it within not even 10-15 minutes of the box sitting there. I had to go buy bug spray because they wouldn't give me my money back and I had to spray all the way around my bed, the walls, the tables and everything just to be able to sleep to keep them from getting in the bed. I did not bring none of my clothes inside. Didn't bring nothing besides what we had on hands down the nastiest place I've ever been to. I do not recommend it

Thankfully, we were only staying one night. Staff was nice and was room was clean, but the tub in the bathroom was unuseable. The tub bottom (enamel?) itself was physically peeling off in rather large chunks and definitely did not look like anything you would want to shower in. If one of my children had taken a bath, the enamel would have been floating around with them. The hallway light is incredibly bright, which i understand is for safety, but the curtain choice by the hotel does not block the light from the room, even with the dark shade. The light floods in around the small curtain and your room feels as though you are trying to sleep with a lamp next to you. My kids were also bummed that the pool was closed.

The front check in staff seemed to be condescending. The first room had cockroaches and again the front staff seemed to be put out we wanted a new room. The second room was run down.
In the morning we wanted to shower however had no hot water. There wasn’t any staff to report the issue too.
We just left much earlier than expected. Will never return to this location.

I am unable to complete this survey because I was not allowed to stay at the property. After finding and noting online that the hotel was ' dog /pet friendly' and then booking through Expedia, upon arrival at 6.45 pm I was informed that my dog, being mid sized and weighing 40 pounds, was 15 pounds over the 25 pound limit for pets. I had planned this stop carefully enroute from Toronto to Florida to allow me to check in with sufficient time to lead an important on line meeting (video required) which was scheduled for shortly after my check in. This was a prepaid booking and suffice it to say i was pretty annoyed that i had to start looking for another place to stay after driving 750 miles. I think that the info sheet promoting hotel amenities should note on the web site the fact that is it only pet friendly to small dogs should be posted in BIG AND BOLD letters. Learning it during check in (which of course was denied) is not the time !!

My wife and I are frequent, loyal guests, staying at your location every two weeks. The property is incredible—the rooms are decent and the service, in general, is excellent.
However, we have encountered significant issues with the front desk staff, who are consistently very rude and disrespectful.
Specifically, we received very poor treatment recently regarding your 100-mile cash deposit policy. We were not allowed to speak or explain our situation, and the interaction was highly disrespectful.

A couple in front of me was denied allowing their pets to stay after they called to verify. There were roaches in the front lobby and in my room. The breakfast was a joke. The shower curtain in my room had drywall mud, paint and/or blood on it. The sheets had holes and the pillows were small and uncomfortable.

Don't plan on staying here unless you have least $200 in cash on you. You can book and pay for your room online and then when you get there they demand $200 in cash (they won't accept credit or debit card for the surprise \"Deposit\"). They told us it was because we are local. The Hotel is an hour and a half drive and in a different time zone from where we live, so not sure how we could be local. Overall a very bad experience that nearly derailed our trip to see the Joe Koy comedy show in Knoxville. Fortunately we were able to find a different much nicer hotel on short notice and Orbitz got them to agree to a refund.

When we checked into the hotel, the front desk.Gentleman wasn't very pleasant. I was there for my son's 21st birthday and when they walk to him, he just stared at them. He stopped assisting me just to stare at them. It didn't have to do with race because we are the same. I had 2 rooms. One of the rooms 157 was horrible. The floor was so moist it was like i could skate on it. I called the front desk and spoke with a woman this time who seemed confused about what I was explaining. She allowed me to come to the front and switch one of the rooms. The facility was just not clean. The beds had stains and spots. The bathroom rags and towels were dirty. There was hair in the bathroom and the toilet paper was used. I got a blanket out of my car and slept. Checked out and would never go back.

We have stayed at many Baymont motels elsewhere with no problems. This one was the exception. Rented 2 rooms and had 1 pet to stay in 1 room. At check-in got receipt for 2 room charges & no pet fee included. 1 room had mold in bathroom and sink did not drain. At checkout I saw a sign on counter that said $50 refundable deposit assessed for each room. This was not mentioned when I checked in & not included on receipt. After getting home, bank account showed 2 deductions of $50 in addition to room charges. I sent message to hotel and asked why I didn't get receipt for the 2 deposits. I also reminded them I wasn't charged for the pet fee. I later got one $50 refund and a $25 pet fee charge. I reminded them that I still needed a 2nd $50 refund. I then got a $25 refund and was told the account was settled because the other $25 was a pet fee for the 2nd room. I'm waiting to hear back and find out why I'm charged pet fee for 2 rooms for 1 pet.
