I have stayed in over a hundred hotels throughout Asia, NA and Europe and this is the worst. The room was FILTHY. Floor had not been cleaned or vacuumed for AT LEAST several nights of stays before me, obvious pieces of random stuff like fingernails everywhere on the floor. Both shower drain and sink drain fully clogged. Mold. Bathroom floors nasty.

Reception is strangely in the 3rd floor, there is minimal signage to tell you that. There is a keycard reader to use the elevator, am I supposed to guess that I don't need to use it to get to floor 3 since I don't have a card yet? The elevator is old and the button has to be pressed hard to work, so I wrongly assumed I needed a keycard after it didn't work. Lobby was full of loads of Chinese people, so check in took forever. They charged an extra tax. I didn't feel like checking if it's legitimate after the long wait, but Expedia had already charged me a lot of tax. This hotel was not cheap at all for a mediocre area in Southeast Asia even if it was clean, for what it is at the price I paid this was a nightmare.

This hotel charges 26.5 percent taxes on the base amount. Going rate in Melaka is 8 percent plus 10+4 MYR, nowhere near crazy market up amount. Either they or Expedia are pocketing extra money !!

It has been many years that I stayed at this hotel and Hatten. Frankly speaking, both hotels can be managed better in terms of facade, hotel room (especially toilet at Estadia). Overall, it is ok for a short stayover at Malacca.

Check in was quick and simple, stuffs were friendly. The rooms really need some TLC. We had a family deluxe suits. Some of the lights switches are not working properly in the main bedroom. The main bedroom shower door can't fully closed and water spray out to the floor during shower.
The second bed room shower will not drain properly and over flow outside the shower room. Let the front desk know and never get fix.

Expedia has two room options, one Deluxe Twin and Deluxe Queen. The Deluxe Queen is a little bit more than the Twin room. I paid the Deluxe Queen bec we are couple and will need only one bed. When we checked in, they gave us the Twin Room instead of the Queen that I piad for. When I asked them about it, they said that they have no room for Queen room and the price are the same. This is not what was in the Expedia website and I paid a little bit more. Frustrating but for a one night stay, we went ahead and stayed.

Wrong information leads to unhappy service.

But the location is great, walkable and convenient for the bus ride we took from Singapore.

Stayed for 4 nights and it was lovely. Breakfast was good, an easy walk to the night market. Any questions we had were quickly answered by staff. Room is a little rundown but nothing incredibly noticeable unless you really focus on it. All in all would definitely stay next time I come to Melaka.

The room is quite run down. The toilet flush was missing a button and air con is not working properly. The bed is not clean,., basic hygiene is a must.

Although we support reduce waste, the toiletries are given 1 small set , no tissue left in the tissue box and no on where to get more when you used up or return if you do not need.

The hotel experience was a far cry from what we experienced back in 2018.

The staff & service workers are very helpful & friendly. Especially the security guide, he took care of our luggage after we checked out and also helped us to load them when the coach arrived at the Hotel. The only feedback is the room's bathroom needs maintenance – The shower area was flooded when we first used, though they came after we called at night and cleared very quickly. Bathroom also shows signs of mould and water stains. In addition, the small fridge was faulty, our sandwiches were stale as we did not know it was not working.

The hotel is above average. Room carpet is dirty with stains, mini fridge not working, floor tiles hollow sound, wall is thin, can hear next door people talking.

Located next to a hospital, so can occasionally hear the ambulance siren.

All stores below the hotel are closed, have to walk to nearby malls which is about 10 mins walk and cross the road.

Not very near tourist spots, have to walk about 30 mins or travel by car about 5 to 10mins.

However, bed is ok, located at bus alighting point. Price is reasonable as it comes with free breakfast.

My room was dirty. The batroom wad not clean had hair in the sink, the shower glass had never been clean. I asked for diffrent room but instead i wasvtold to wait 15 min. to clean the areas that I complained. When I made the reservation it say free parking, but at the reception I was told I have to pay it. I show my reservation and reception told me I am wrong. The parking is not close to the building. The lobbby are is like bus station. The breakfast is terrible. Unless you like fish, rice, and curry. Staff were polite, but cannot manage the luck of managment and organization. This hotel is like 2-3 star hotel. We suppose to stay 2 nights but we left after the first one.

Quite a lousy hotel. The lobby almost no aircon, very stuffy. The wifi sometimes have connection, sometimes no connection. The breakfast has limited choices, there's no swimming pool. The lift cannot press, need to trial and error, see luck. Also don't know where's the exit and entrance as the roads were blocked. The staff also serving with an attitude.

Compared to our stay last year, noticed that conditions & service was slacking and bad. Toilet bowl & basin choked, lights not working (flickering) in rooms & living room, 1 of the unit air-con not cold even after servicing (rooms should be checked that it's in good working condition before check-in), no air-con at lobby, wifi connection bad as get disconnected every now & then and need to re-login after leaving & coming back to the room, confusion during check-in, had 2 units 2 bedrooms but was only given 1 unit. Told staff to look at the print-out of my booking which was handed over to her but she could not find it and claimed I did not give to her (told her there were 2 print-out as there was an additional deluxe room booked) and eventually found it in the thrash can as she had thrown it away even before my check-in process was completed). However, the FOM was helpful and apologetic and was told there is a recent change in management and hopefully they can eventually resolve all issues and improve. Breakfast spread limited and lousy, coffee machine too slow and seem lots of things need to be replaced/repaired. Parking fee supposed to be included in booking but due to change in management were charged a fee for daily parking as was told parking not within the jurisdiction of the management.

A 3D2N holiday stay with my wife at Estadia Hotel was an average satisfaction with this property.
Things were alright, just that some maintenance was not put in place where 1 of the bedside light bulb was not able to light up, the 'emergency' torchlight battery was flat, ...
Very little walking space in the bedroom as well as inside the toilet.
Last but not least, the hotel lobby at the ground floor (1st floor) that is leading to the Hatten Hotel was very warm without the 'AirCon' turned on....

It was clean, safe, and right by the coach parking so you don’t need a grab to get to your Singapore coach. There was 7-eleven nearby. The historical places and Melaka river were in a walkable distance (around 15 mins). There are a few shopping malls nearby. I just didn’t like the breakfast service - very crowded with people (I had to queue) and food options not satisfying.

The deluxe suite at Estadia hotel is tastefully decorated. Comfortable bed. Large bathrooms. Good facilities. Overall clean. Good customer service. However, we suspect that the carpet was not vacuumed (alter last occupants) and had hair on the floor all over (the only regret). We enjoyed our stay there and hopefully the hotel will look into improvement in this area.

During check out they allowed me two hours late. Location of hotel five minutes walk to Shopping Mall and food courts. Very convenient to get taxi just door step of the hotel.

Check-in was easily done at the reception on the 3rd floor. Parking can be done on the 4th to 6th floor. The access to Estadia can only be via Hatten hotel after 10pm. Accessibility to Estadia was a 10mins walk due to various walkways being closed. Hope that it will be opened later on. The room was quite a good size. Beds were comfortable and bathroom was as described.

Very valued for many stay at the 2 bedroom deluxe suite, place is rather well maintained and clean, however, we do realise that the hotel feels like it have aged a bit, with the finishing of the bathroom to be improved as the water get stuck at the shower stall due to the flooring for water drainage not done properly in the room I staying.

Wifi was really bad and when we feedback to the hotel, they say they have some issue with their wifi.

As I drove there, it was easy to park as the parking is the same as Hatten Hotel and is complimentary once you give the front desk your TNG card.

Good location, walking distance to many amenities and food, good size room. Will definitely consider to stay here again if I am coming with my extended family again.

However, do hope the shopping in the area will come back to live as the connected shopping areas at Hatten's property itself is almost totally bare and vacant with all shops' shutter closed.

I have a pleasant stay in the hotel but theres a few things that make me and my family feel so inconvenient.

1) The proceess to pay the hotel room. I understand the idea of cashless is good but at the same time its hard for me without credit card as i prefer to have cash when on oversea

2) The breakfast. No complain about the food but to going to the next hotel is so inconvenient. I and family need to take the link lift at the carpark. Most of my family is having knee issue and hard for them to walk there.

Afterall i like the design of the hotel. Hope the hotel can improve on this.

Overall the stay was good except there was issues with the key card when using the lift as many times unable to press the floor level as the sensor not working well. Also there was no aircon at the ground level and air very hot and stuffy whilst waiting for lift and our other family members. The breakfast was good and value for money.

The location is really convenient. The breakfast provided by Hatten Hotel is really nice. The hotel staff is friendly.
However, the hotel is really dirty. I found a cockroach 5 mins after I stepped into my room and we had to change to a new one, but the new one has tissue papers below the bed.
Never book this if you are a light sleeper. It has the worst soundproof ever. We can clearly hear what my neighbours were talking.

Over the months, the restaurant at the hotel itseif still did not open, needed to walk over to their sister's hotel at Hatten for breakfast. The walkway from carpark to hotel check in is still very dark and warm with no ventilation and eerie, this need to be improve immediately. Finally, there were too dusty for all desks in the room, house keeping standard too poor.

Room is spacious. Buffet breakfast spread is satisfactory but can better. Would even be better if its at ESTADIA itself rather than to go to HATTEN Hotel.

Sofa is dusty. Bidet is leaking and safe box for both rooms unable to use. Hotel is quiet not many guess even though its weekend.Musty smell in one of the bathroom needs to be looked at.

In general stay is acceptable considering proximity to shopping malls and the room size.
