An unforgettable stay

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel in Siem Reap. What impressed me most was not luxury, but the special atmosphere. Surrounded by rice fields and water buffalo, with beautiful stilted houses, the whole place felt calm and unique.

The staff were excellent—always friendly, attentive, and professional. They really made us feel welcome and comfortable. The hotel’s design is stylish yet reflects the local culture, which made the stay feel very authentic.

A lovely surprise was receiving a small bag of rice from their own fields when we checked out. Such a simple but meaningful gesture left a deep impression.

We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone coming to Siem Reap. It’s a place that creates lasting memories.

This was one of the most exquisite properties we have stayed on in our travels around the world. Five stars gets over abused, but this is a truly five star experience. When you enter the gates, time evaporates and you get lost in the serenity of the natural surroundings. This property is absolutely fantastic. The wooden cabins in the middle of the rice fields are fabulous.
The staff is always smiling, ready to do whatever it takes to provide the best possible service. They are discreet yet always present – true luxury.
The pool has the perfect temperature, is very large, and offers plenty of loungers and beds for ultimate comfort.
The massages at the spa are also of exceptional quality.
The cherry on top is the food, what an incredible culinary experience. From breakfast to dinner, we were delighted. The tasting menu at the Hang Bay restaurant gave me richer emotions than some Michelin-starred establishments.

In summary, it truly lives up to its name. It’s a green haven offering a luxury experience that only Zannier can master.

Our recent 5-day stay at Phum Baitang Zannier Hotel from November 1st to 5th was nothing short of magical. From the moment we were picked up at the hotel, every aspect of our experience was exquisite. Our room was a sanctuary of comfort, and the service was impeccable, from the delightful breakfasts to the thoughtful turn-down service and desserts.

The highlight of our stay was the private day tour arranged by the hotel, where we had the privilege of visiting Angkor Wat for a breathtaking sunrise, exploring the captivating Bayon temple, and discovering the beauty of Banteay Srei. Our tour guide for the day, Mr. Lorl, was a true gem. His extensive knowledge and passion for Cambodia's history made our journey all the more enriching. Kudos also to our dedicated driver, Mr. Savornnak, a member of the hotel staff, who ensured a safe and comfortable ride.

We feel truly fortunate to have experienced such a wonderful blend of luxury, culture, and hospitality. This stay and tour will remain etched in our hearts as an unforgettable journey. Thank you, Phum Baitang Zannier Hotel, and to all their staff, for making our time in Cambodia so special.

The property was amazing, so peaceful and tranquil. The villas were lovely and perfect for us as a couple. We spent 4 nights for our 30th anniversary.
Siem Reap is pretty busy and the hotel was just devine to head back to after a busy day.
Having lots of transport options available was also very convenient as well as the free airport pick up and drop off.
We used the tuk-tuks over 2 days to trip around the temples, our driver Lin was lovely.
The staff were all so lovely and friendly. The rice paddies were getting planted when we were there and the 2 water buffalo were ploughing. A great way to keep the grass down afterwards, true eco-friendly and added to a special place already 😋
All up we would highly recommend this hotel for many reasons. We really loved our stay and I think from the 3 places and hotels in total we travelled to, this was our favourite.

This has been the most spectacular stay. We have thoroughly enjoyed every second here at the resort. The staff are very generous, helpful and kind. The rice fields in the property are tranquil, authentic to the surrounding area, and very well maintained. This resort really takes you into an oasis within Siem Reap with idyllic vibes of padi fields, beautifully restored and constructed village houses. One of, if not the best hotel I have had the pleasure of staying in, don't really want to call it a hotel as that would not do it justice. The service is second to none, every single staff member was amazing. The quality of service, the warmth and friendliness of everyone. From the moment we arrived to when we left, nothing was ever too much trouble. Staff were warm, happy to have a conversation with you but not too intrusive. Absolutely disgusted with Expedia.

My mother and I were booked to fly Phnom Penh to Siem Reap today and stay at a resort. Both booked via Expedia. I paid premium prices for both bookings.

In the early hours of the morning my 76 year old mother became extremely ill. High fever, constant vomiting, constant diarrhoea. By 6am she was totally exhausted and distressed. I began emailing Expedia and the hotel at 6am. I have had zero response from Expedia all day.

As with most foreigners overseas, we can’t use our mobile phones to make calls, and Expedia have next to no other contact options (other than phone), which makes travellers extremely vulnerable when things go wrong.

We are set to lose $2000AUD and can not get an answer out of Expedia.

Our stay here at Phum Baitang was just perfect. Everything was unforgettable, full of sweet memories, kind and friendly staff, delicious and authentic local dishes and more and more. We would like to specially thank receptionist Tita (if I wrote her name right), who was very helpful and helped us extend our stay. Also would like to specially thank Mr. Som, an experienced driver who took us to the airport and explained everything about the hotel and Siem Reap for us. And also thank other kind staff that we didn’t know their name but just impressed by how professional and friendly they were. The smiles of them made our stay here completed more than the luxurious amenities. Would definitely recommend this hotel to travellers who are seeking for a real retreat from busy city life.

In Cambodia, this is THE place to stay!

Wonderful staff. Fantastic food. A perfect calm amongst the chaos of tourism that surrounds the Angkor Wat temples. Set a little into the countryside from Siem Reap but ‘pub street’ and all that is has to offer is easily accessible by hotel organised tuk tuk. Traditional stilted ‘villa style’ accommodation set around a paddy field makes for lovely colours during the day and interesting sounds at night. Charming. Central pool and breakfast wonderful. If you’re in this neck of the woods this is where you want to stay.

Hospitality at its best

Everything about this property is phenomenal. Complimentary pick-up at airport in a Land Rover. We got a pool villa which includes a 8'x10' pool outside our own unit, a Cambodian style hut with a large bathroom, wide plank flooring throughout and very tastefully furnished. The ambience of the whole resort allows good relaxation, with an almost exclusively Western clientele from the US and Europe. The setting of local paddy fields (with rice being grown) and oxen is beautiful and romantic, while the pool side bar and restaurants are charming and reasonably priced (most entrees below $20). The staff are extremely friendly and welcoming, arranging tours at a moment's notice. We met with both the Catering manager David, and the General Manager Colin, who are always around to speak to guests. We stayed only for 3 nights and were there for the New Year's Eve celebration but wish we could have stayed longer. The resort owner, Zannier, is a relative newcomer but they provide an \"Aman\" style luxury for less than half the price, and we look forward to staying in their other properties in future.

FAVORITE PLACE IN THE WORLD!!!

WOW! I can't possibly explain how amazing this place is. I've been traveling the world for over 30 years and can honestly say this is the best place i've ever stayed in my life. It isn't the most \"luxurious\" as far as fancy expensive amenities, but the way they have created this paradise will make you feel like they knew exactly how to help you relax. The rooms are unbelievable in design and function. The wood and stone is breathtaking. The grounds are SO PEACEFUL. Don't get me wrong - it is very noisy, but the noise is all about the nature around you. It is extremely eco minded and you can hear nature everywhere you go. The only little thing is the food isn't the best. I was a little sad about that, but it was good enough that i'd for sure give the place 5 stars without reservation!!!

Its entire idea is fabulous, from unique villas to the staff, great-organic food (they farm their own vegetables and have a local community farm from where they go get what it's served in the hotel). I stayed at the Phum Baitang for two nights which defiantly not enough. Staffs are super friendly polite and helpful. you can simply tell them your thoughts and they will arrange for you. The terrence villa is beautiful, comfortable and clean. we have two twin beds, they are a bit smaller than i expected but still they are comfortable and wonderful. The hotel infinity pool is big and nice with outstanding pool service. resort restuarnt is good but just a bit pricy. you will love every little detials from the hotel.

A Magical Stay

Phum Baitang is a magical place. From the time of our arrival my wife and I marvelled at the way we were treated. The staff is extremely well trained but relaxed and friendly. The setting is unique amid rice growing and water buffalos. The swimming pool is a delight after touring the sites of Angkor. And the bar and restaurants are excellent. The only disappointment was not booking our spa services ahead of time as they were fully booked. But everything else fully compensated for this gap.

One of the best, simply amazing. A Siem Reap must.

Phum Baitang was everything that we were wishing for if not more. We stayed 3 nights there but we are definitely going back and will stay for longer time hopefully. We got upgraded to the pool villa which was really sweet and our villa was bit further in the end of the resort so it was very quiet and more private than those closer to the entrance. From the minute we got transferred from the airport till the end of the trip, the staff were so nice, so attentive and they did everything to make our stay so special and comfortable. The resort is so beautiful and it is different than other high-end resorts we stayed in before, it is luxury but at the same time it's not over the top and you just feel so relaxed and private. The food at the pool restaurant was good, breakfast options were great. We only tried lunch once and it was good but the menu was not very big.

We loved the hotel - incredible combination of traditional architecture and gorgeous design, huge, comfortable, natural/minimally decorated rooms, great terrace, big comfortable couches inside and out. The pool area was beautiful and the cocktails were delicious. This was a perfect stop to relax and celebrate our anniversary after visiting the temples of Angkor. The spa was definitely worth a visit, I had one of the best treatments I've ever had there (Khmer Splendour Ritual). There were a few glitches with service, but all of the staff were very eager and attentive, and with a little more experience I am sure they'll be great. The management was excellent and very open to feedback. The food was tasty, but the options were more limited than we expected. Overall, we loved our stay and would highly recommend.

phum baitang is not just a hotel. It is an experience. I have travelled everywhere and this is one of the best hotels I have ever had the pleasure of staying in. The staff is so on top of everything and very kind and reliable. The food is the best in all of siem reap. You don't even need to leave the hotel to get that Cambodian experience. 5 stars all the way. I know it is new and that is why is isn't as expensive as the Aman but it could be. I am in love and want to Bring my family back as soon as possible. This is an extremely special place and I will always look back on my experience as being one of the best I've ever had

Magical Cambodian Experience

We have just returned from a completely magical 4 night, 5 day stay at Phum Baitang with our three young children (7, 5 and 9 months old) and can honestly say that it was one of the most fantastic hotel experiences we have ever had.
The moment you drive through the gates you enter a tranquil haven of lush paddy fields scattered with discreet wooden houses. Although the hotel is seriously luxurious and offers every modern comfort you could wish for, it also feels like such an authentic, Cambodian experience with the traditionally styled wooden villas resembling those of traditional stilted wooden homes. As we sat by the pool at our villa and gazed at the view, we could have just as easily been sitting in the heart of the Cambodian countryside watching the water buffalos wallowing amongst the paddies.

The service and staff at Phum Baitang deserve a special mention. Every single person we came across from the reception staff, restaurant and bar staff, ladies cleaning our rooms, to the gardeners were so charming, helpful and warm. The service was impeccable and yet there was a wonderfully laid back atmosphere about everything.

The hotel was the perfect base from which to discover the incredible temples of Angkor. Although it offered everything a young family would wish for in a hotel stay, it would be equally special for a romantic get away, which I will definitely be plotting in the future!

Fantastic hotel. Lovely place to stay overall, however needs a bit of polishing round the edges in terms of food. Also be weary of the price of excursions. We wanted to see waterfalls and it was arranged for us. On the day we were due to go, we were advised it would be 250 dollars! Should have been good this at the time of discussing.

We stayed 4 nights at Zannier Phum Baitang and loved the accommodation.

The room with a pool is incredible and worth it. If you can, consider staying there, both for the greater privacy and because of the beautiful pool.

The hotel is beautiful and has incredible service. Everyone is always available to help.

The food is good, but not exceptional. The prices are a little high, especially considering the taste of the dishes. But the wines and cocktails are really expensive. It's worth buying some wine in the city or at the duty-free shop before going to the hotel. The snacks are also a good choice, including for room service, as they are well-served and tasty.

The tours offered are an absolute success. We booked everything with the hotel and didn't regret it. Always on time, comfortable car with water and air conditioning, as well as a guide who explains the entire history of the temples and accompanies you on the tours. We did two days of tours and both were exceptional. The price charged is fair for the quality of everything on offer.

Another highlight is the main pool, with an ideal temperature and plenty of space, as well as the beautiful rice fields in the central area.

Wir haben so unsere Hotelfavoriten, welche in der Regel sehr hohen Standard haben wie auch keine 4/5* Bunker sind, aber das Zannier hier stellt zur Zeit alle in den Schatten. Alles ist extremst stilvoll und durchdacht. Ich würde am liebsten einiges im Zimmer einpacken wie die Türen, der Boden ;) das Zusammenspiel der alten, massiven Holzlatten, das Badmöbel mit dem Aufbauwaschbecken die sanitären Anlagen.einzig der Kosmetikspiegel auf Bauchhöhe ist für die Füchse. Am Pool hat es in den Pavillons Steckdosen um das Handy zu laden sowie einen Ventilator. Noch nie so gesehen und ist es erwähnenswert ? Wenn man auf das Besondere hinweisen will, schon. Die Zimmer sind sehr schön und immer sehr sauber wie auch alle übrigen Einrichtungen. Alles sehr weitläufig, man hat Platz und Ruhe, wenn man will. Einzig \"lärmig\" sind die Frösche am Abend, vor allem in der Nähe der Bar.....

Das Essen ist absolut hervorragend, selten so gut gegessen. Auch wenn es auf den ersten Blick etwas komisch aussieht, es war bis jetzt mit 1 Ausnahme hervorragend. Die Ausnahme war unsere Schuld, wir dachten fresh spring rolls wären die uns bekannten frittierten und nicht kalt. Ansonsten kam am Anfang 2x Weiss anstatt Rotwein, oder man wartet etwas länger auf den cocktail, aber man ist ja in den Ferien. Ev sollte man die Gäste auch darauf aufmerksam machen, Kohlenhydratbeilagen oder zusätzlich Beilagen zu bestellen, wenn das Gericht nur mit Gemüse kommt. Für uns Schweizer ist das ungewohnt. Es un hotel Maravilloso, ofrece como experiencia él hospedarse en una villa rustica de lujo entre campos de arrozales. Excelente personal hospitalario y amable.
Mi tour guide Tusa, chofer de Seam Reap a Phnom penh Leo x mencionar algunos de los servicios.

I had high expectations for this hotel and the reality exceeded them. A fabulous hotel in a wonderful setting. Staff are extremely friendly and helpful and the food excellent. Spa treatments very relaxing and enjoyable and the whole experience was superb.
I look forward to staying in other Zannier Hotels in the future.
