Had a wonderful time at Golden Temple Villa. Room was perfect, staff was very friendly and professional. Mey helped us book rides and tours and was very kind to us throughout our stay. Breakfast was very nice, and the location was very good (close to the center of Siem Reap).

AC worked great, hot water in showers, beds comfortable, etc.

Would definitely come here again.

This is the best hotel we stayed in on our 3-week trip through Southeast Asia. From the service, to the amenities, to the room, to the restaurant; everything was above and beyond.

The staff here are what really make it- everyone is friendly, kind, and gives 5-star service! The bed was the most comfortable we had in our 3 weeks, and the room was beautiful, spacious and clean. The pool was an oasis to relax after a hot day of exploring temples. The access to spa services after trekking around is also such a perk! The restaurant was incredible, we enjoyed delicious lattes daily as well as an incredible dragon fruit smoothie bowl.

I cannot recommend this hotel enough! Book it and experience the beauty and welcoming energy Cambodia has to offer.

The staff at the property were all very professional, polite, kind and super helpful. They arranged a 2 day tour with a wonderful tour guide named Som who was awesine all around. Excellent English and full of information that was accessible to both teens and adults alike. My son and his friend loved swimming in the saltwater pool and service by the pool was great! The rooms were large and well appointed. All around a great stay.

This hotel is a little gem- walking distance to pub street and markets, plenty of food options and massage options around. We did not have breakfast or lunch at hotel due to our itinerary. Staff extremely helpful and friendly; swimming pool a nice way to cool off st end of the day; we borrowed umbrellas one night due to rain & noticed they also have bikes you can use (we did not).

Both our room and bathroom were good size, bed is firm but comfortable.

Staff were excellent. Nary was very helpful with any request we made. She also helped book a tour for Angkor Wat with a private driver and private tour guide.

Ask for Som as your tour guide and Hoy as your driver you won’t be disappointed. Som is very knowledgeable and Hoy is S great driver.

Very very pleased with this property from the ever accommodating front staff, to the clean very spacious room. The hotel staff takes the gold medal here, anything we needed or wanted they provided - we wanted a spontaneous trip to the floating village, done, driver was there in 10 mins. Tuk tuk driver? Easy, one right out front ready to take us anywhere we wanted. Great experience . The rooms are clearly sound proof as I heard nothing at night.

WOW!!!! What a pleasant surprise from our arrival until we left. We were greeted warmly by the front desk and were offered a cold towel, refreshments and breakfast, as we were a very early arrival. My husband and I, are not high maintenance journeyers, who have travelled extensively, and are always pleasantly surprised when the staff (especially: Mr. Kol-Manager, Ms. Mon- assistant Manager and will make a great Manager, Ju, Kianthiea, Sotha) were all so very welcoming, informative and who genuinely enjoyed engaging in daily conversations with their guests. The staff is what makes this boutique hotel what it is. I would also like to mention that the room is fair size, clean with a very comfortable king sized bed and a beautiful bathroom. Beautiful pool for cooling off. Breakfast was provided and we had also enjoyed the set Western and Cambodian dinner at the hotel. The dining staff were very attentive and always provided top notched service. This boutique hotel provided airport transfers for a fee, of which we took advantage of. Mr. Cheat was our driver, a personable man, so we requested him to be our driver on excursions booked via the hotel. The hotel also provides Spa services which I took advantage of. For our visit to Angkor Wat temple, we opted for a tour guide who was Mr. Phirum, he was very knowledgeable, personable and who truly loved his profession. A huge “Arkun” again to the staff for making our visit such a memorable one.

The best and most luxurious hotel that I have ever had the pleasure of staying in. All of the staff I interacted with were so friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent with such a large selection of items to choose from. A breakfast box was put together for me on the day that I went on a sunrise tour to Angkor Wat. The pool area was lovely and relaxing. I only wish that I had at least another 2 days at the hotel to relax further after the tours of the temples and exploring Siem Reap. Would love to return.

A few details can be improved like giving guests truly bottled free water in the room and making sure that something is available to make the shower floor non slip. I used the rubber sand les that were left in the room and that worked well but a warning about the very slippery shower floor with remedy might be in order. Lovely pool and lovely people at the hotel.

The perfect place to stay

We spent 7 nights at Golden Temple Villa and it was the perfect place to stay. The room was spacious and comfortable and the hotel itself close to a range of restaurants and bars. The staff were friendly and helpful - they assisted us with planning our trips around the area and visits to the temples. The pool offered the perfect way to cool off and relax and the spa treatments an added bonus. We highly recommend staying here.

The Golden Temple Villa is a relatively small facility, a few blocks from the downtown area. There are a number of eateries between the hotel and \"pub street\"/night market area where you can get a good meal and $0.50 draft beer. The staff are extremely attentive and ready to help. The rooms are comfortable and reasonably sized to spend a bit of time in, plus the lounge and poll facilities downstairs effectively increase the effective size as the whole place is rather intimate. There is a spa on-site, and we got a couple of nice massages. Good breakfast.

Very nice property. Very clean great staff. Location very quiet but only 5min walk to Pub Street or plenty of tuk-tuk on street at the front.
Only two areas of improvement would be to note no elevator so stairs only. Just two stories high so not a lot but for those needing more accessible access may be an issue. Beds are also hard which is normal in SE Asia. They can put a topper on mattress which they did for us but still a little hard.
Rooms very spacious, great toiletries, lovely pool area and very tranquil. Very recommended for couples.

Excellent hotel - the location is convenient - quite close to the town centre. The hotel itself was very chic like a boutique hotel and the staff were very friendly and attentive. The hotel also has a lovely restaurant on site. The pool is in a courtyard and so is fairly shaded from the sun - but that is not a bad thing. I would definitely recommend this hotel

From the minute we walked in to the hotel, the staff treated us like we where VIP’s we had great room with lots of space, a lovely bathroom and a fantastic bed with beautiful bedding. Had a meal in the restaurant the first night and once again they delivered. If you want a quiet relaxing day you have a great pool to cool down and mins away from all the nightlife. Please don’t take my word, check it out yourself, it won’t disappoint…

Our group of 8 had a terrific experience at this hotel. The service was excellent starting with a personalized pick up service from the new Siem Reap airport 50kms away to the welcome reception, daily service, and drop off at the airport. The massage service (first one complimentary) was very good (the compression oil massage in particular) too.

We enjoyed a nice breakfast spread everyday. They took special care to feed us vegan food which we highly appreciated!

The hotel manager Moon is a great host. She helped organize daily trips with a local guide and van and we truly had a pain free and relaxing trip overall.

Highly recommend! The hotel is just a few mins walk from old quarters and pub street which made it super convenient in the evenings.

We loved everything about this hotel and we wish we could have stayed here longer. I did so much research about where to stay in Siem Reap and all the amazing reviews for this property won me over and let me just say, they did not disappoint!

A couple days before we were supposed to check in, the hotel reached out to us to get our flight arrival details and when we landed, they were ready and waiting at the airport to pick us up.

Check in was a breeze, we sat in the lobby and provided our passports while staff took care of the rest. We were given a welcome drink and snack while we waited.

Our room was wonderful, spacious and decorated beautifully to help us celebrate a special time! They provide plenty of drinking water.

We booked a sunrise tour of Angkor Wat for the next day with a private guide and driver, the hotel took care of everything for us and it cost $85 ($40 for the driver, $45 for the guide). They even arranged for breakfast boxes to take on the tour. After our tour, we returned to the hotel and enjoyed complimentary lunch, followed later by complimentary dinner. Both were wonderful so if you get a chance, definitely eat here!

The staff were so nice and remembered our names. We kept saying to each other what a great time we were having and how much we wish we could have stayed longer.

Definitely stay here, this hotel and their staff are amazing!

Everyone (I’d name names but worry I’d forget someone) gave you their undivided attention; the quality of the food, the facilities and services were all first class. It was warm and welcoming. The decor was modern. The rooms had a great floor plan for 3 people. The shower and toilet had their own separate room. We visited Siem Reap for my mother’s 60th. The hotel staff made it a little special by decorating her room with flowers and balloons. They also surprised her with a cake. We were all thrilled! The pool is saltwater. This is a must stay hotel!!

Such an amazing place to stay! I really felt like I was well taken care of and that the hotel did their best to accommodate me as much as possible. They included a lot of freebies that I really appreciated, such as airport transfers, a traditional dinner, and even massages! Compared to other hotels that try to nickel and dime you, this one included everything and made me feel extra special. The location is a further walk than most places to the main area near pub street but it also is a more quiet and relaxing area to be in. Would highly recommend this place!

The unique thing is the service of the hotel team - few names are on top of the list - Ms Tworn, Mr Lipin and Mr Lesung. I have met few people like them who are so nice and friendly - there is nothing my wife & I found in the hotel that demand some criticism or scope for improvement. As a matter of fact, considering all, it is a 10/10 place to stay.

We hope to visit again and hope to stay in the same place.

Beautiful boutique hotel in a great, central location. The staff at Golden Temple were incredible! They organized our airport shuttles (complete with cold towel and beverage), day trip to Angkor Wat (private driver and 4:45am breakfast to go), cooking class and all of our transportation around the city. Royal treatment at rock-bottom rates

The only reason I am giving this hotel a 5-star rating is because I can't give them more! Every aspect of our stay deserved the highest rating: the pickup from the hotel was smooth and well-organized, the hotel itself is beautiful, stylish and conveniently located (walking distance to the market and entertainment area of Siem Reap), the room was gorgeous and quite spacious, the food (breakfast buffet and the complementary dinner) were excellent, and the service was absolutely incredible! I have never experienced such friendly, helpful and accommodating hotel staff. All of.that came with the lowest nightly rate I have ever paid at any hotel anywhere. And, if you plant to visit Angkor Wat and the other archaeological sites, let the hotel get a tour guide and a driver for you: the tour we got was outstanding (very knowledgeable and extremely professional guide), again at an incredibly low rate.
PS: try to go during off-season!

We had massage service almost every day during our stay, of which the first hour was complimentary of the hotel. Location was great. It took us about 10 minutes (walk) to both night market and pub street.

So it is the little things that make the difference. We were picked up at airports by 3 different hotels, however only from Golden Temple Villa was 1) it offered free and 2) were we picked up by a driver AND William: a member of the hotel reception team. In this was they could ensure one person was focussing on any questions/making sure our needs were met, whilst the other was parking/driving.

William then ensured we had ice cold towels and drinks on arrival, checked us in, arranged a time for our complimentary massage and dinner, booked the transfer back to the airport and gave us a quick tour of the facilities and then let us check in early at 9am. He opened the door to an already chilled room (another nice touch which was not repeated at our next 2 hotels); our room was spacious, very comfortable huge bed. Helpful socket/USB port beside the bed. Shower was excellent and nice touch was free water for drinking and separate water for doing our teeth with.

We did the temple tour as suggested by the hotel via email in advance another nice touch.The massage was excellent as our introduction to Khmer massage.

The free dinner was delicious and service excellent in all parts of the hotel. We also used the computer and printer facilities. Pool was clean/refreshing and goodbye photo another nice touch!

Location was perfect for us - near enough to walk to the main action of the city, but far enough not to be bombarded with noise.

The Golden Temple Villa was fabulous! I truly enjoyed my stay, and it is a great value. I highly recommend it. The 2 day tour they set up for me to see Angor was just OK. I suspect you could do better by booking your own in town, and most likely for less money. But hotel itself was fabulous.

I can quite honestly say that this is one of the best hotels that I have stayed at,in Asia, let alone Cambodia. It is clean, efficient, well located, the pool is fantastic after a day of site seeing and the attention to detail is exceptional. We were met at the airport by a very lovely lady called Nary, who escorted us to the hotel. The fruit platter and welcome drink was lovely, and Lucky the tourism manager went through the hotel extras with us, inc some Khmer basic words! Throughout the whole stay, the staff remember your names and genuinely treat you like royalty! With the stay came a free lunch,(superb quality and beautiful presentation) a free Khmer massage which we took that evening, a free evening meal, which was superb and a packed lunch for whenever you wish (presented in a little drawstring bag that makes a great travel laundry bag!) we also took advantage of the 30% disc on a 2nd massage!
The room was great, really big, with a good shower and very comfy bed. Early evening, the staff visit the room, turn down the bed and leave treats and a bedtime tale, it's a great little touch! You even get a free mobile phone to use locally so that you can make bookings or call the hotel.
I can really recommend this hotel, the staff are exceptional. The personal service at reception, in the restaurant and by the pool is second to none. Half price drinks from 4-6 as well! We had lunch by the pool one day, that was faultless too! I literally have nothing to complain about!!

Awesome stay. Rooms are modern and generous. Staff service was meticulous. The hotel had great ambiance, and is located close (but not too close) to the bustling Pub Street. Best of all, a top-notch (by any standard) French restaurant - Mango Cuisine - is right next door. Overall a fantastic experience. Highly recommended!

Good location, quiet, in a street away from the night markets and pub street but still a short walk or tuk tuk ride away. In the room we had, toilet needs a night light as the door is glass and lightens the whole room.

Great Stay At The Golden Temple Villa

My wife and myself stayed two nights at the Golden Temple Villa, mainly for the purpose of touring the temples of Angkor Wat. Apart from a hiccup on arrival at Siem Reap airport when the driver we had organised from the hotel didn't appear - another member of the hotel staff made sure we reached the hotel, albeit in the company of other guests - everything was excellent. We were greeted at the hotel with cool drinks, cold towels and a snack. The hotel is set back from a busy road but is very quiet. We had a huge room on the first floor which was very comfortable. Throughout our stay the staff were exceptional, extremely friendly and always willing to help .Included in our price, all complimentary, were the pick-up from and return to Siem Reap airport, a traditional Cambodian dinner for two, a light lunch and one hour massages for both of us and delicious packed lunches for our day spent touring the temples. We had arranged our tour privately with a local company before travelling, but the hotel would have organised that for us had we wanted. The swimming pool was a lovely place to relax and drinks prices both there and in the restaurant were highly affordable. Siem Reap itself (Pub Street apart - no more than a ten minute walk form the hotel) provided a real insight into how the amazingly friendly local people live. Food and drink was incredibly cheap in all the local restaurants. Angkor Wat was just awesome! Would we stay at the Golden Temple Villa again? Most definitely!

Picked out hotel just based on the online description. Turned out to be a wonderful find. As soon as I booked I got an email asking for my flight info for pick up, and sure enough they were there as promised. Centrally located so you can walk to markets and restaurants, tucked away off the quiet end of a busy road--very quiet (except for an occasional call to prayer from a nearby mosque). Amazingly gracious staff. Very large room. They even give you a local phone to carry with you in case of emergency.

Fantastic service - get them to arrange your tours

I was sceptical reading other reviews prior to booking but found the Service was fantastic throughout our stay. Recommend if you're looking to do tours around the area, ask the hotel to book - it's cheaper, service is excellent and you can have the cost added to your bill at checkout ( their parent company owns a tour service company so expect service to be just as good). Couldn't find anything to fault and had a fantastic time... Even got free t shirts and massages from the hotel

Impeccable service at Golden Temple Villa

Everyone was so nice and took very good care of us. The hotel sent me a message confirming my reservation and to provide information about the complementary airport car service, massages, and dinner. They also arranged for an amazing private tour to take us to see the Angkor temples ($65). After exiting immigration at the airport, we were greeted by William. He was very professional and spoke great English. We were provided with cold water and towels and William provided information about the local area as the driver took us to the hotel. When we arrived at the hotel, we were welcomed with cold drinks, cold towels, and a beautiful display of fresh cut fruit and sticky rice while William checked us into the hotel. We arrived early in the morning and were not expecting to be able to go into our room until later, but were pleasantly surprised when the room was ready. Gorgeous and spacious room, comfortable bed, great view, and nice rain head shower. We lounged in and by the pool while enjoying inexpensive cocktails. The complimentary Khmer acupressure style massage were so relaxing. Dinner at the restaurant was yummy&servers were friendly. Breakfast was also very good. Buffet selections plus we were able to select from a menu of prepared food. Only about a 7minute walk to the night markets and Pub Street making this hotel in a great location. Far enough away from the nightlife but easy to walk over to explore. Amazing hotel. Highly recommend and can’t wait to go back.

Excellent stay - the most friendly and welcoming staff, and nice rooms with lots of lovely extras including a free dinner, 1 hour massage and airport transfers. Buffet breakfast was amazing and staff could not be more helpful. Pool is on the smaller side but really lovely.

Only suggestion is to ensure new towels/ sheets if required.
