I really loved this hotel, but can only give 4 stars. Here's why:
Super friendly, amazing, helpful staff. Best I've encountered with delicious amazing breakfast and cute resident pets. The staff went over and above, even made me a to go breakfast box for my sunrise wat tour. Good facilities, welcome drink, calm and peaceful - a bit further out of the bustle, which was nice but also you're a little a ways from the action.
Rooms were spacious, decorated beautifully, and good coffee. However, the beds are HARD. I prefer hard mattresses, but this was like sleeping on concrete. The ac did not get cool enough for me (sorry perimenopause, so need at least cool) but the room barely got cooler than 25 degrees. Also, my room was in front of the pool, so it was very loud. You can hear everything, especially screaming kids.
