We have just enjoyed a fabulous 4 night stay at the Golden temple Boutique hotel in Siem Reap. The most memorable part of our stay was meeting an amazing team of staff, who will always go the extra mile to help, support , advise and guide you. They are some of the most wonderful, friendly people we have met on our travels. Special thanks to Victoria, Leak and Nuth who made sure our stay was memorable.
The hotel organised a private guided tour of Ankhor Wat and other temples, with a great driver, Mr Lucky and a super informative guide Kai.
Rooms are spacious, breakfast is a wonderful feast and the location of the hotel is ideal for accessing the main delights of Siem Reap - just minutes to walk to the main attractions ie restaurants, Pub Street, night market, old market, etc.
I would absolutely recommend the hotel.

Internet services are VERY SLOW and hard to login. The staff was OUTSTANDING! The breakfast was super. Fresh ground coffee cappuccinos were heavenly! The tour guide ( LUCKY )and the driver ( Mr. Lay) were great! Overall Cambodia is a beautiful country full of kind beautiful people. We WILL VISIT AGAIN!

It is a good hotel, but not great. This hotel is a three star hotel. This is NOT a 5 star hotel.
The pools at both hotels, ( you have to cross the road for breakfast at the other hotel), are exposed, so there is no privacy and people can see you, that's why you never see anybody using the pool.
There is a difference between traditional and dated. The rooms are dated with worn wood. If you stay on the first floor at Temple boutique, you will hear birds chirping all night long. I got moved to the 3rd floor which was bearable with the A/C on. Though I did have a leaking sink drain there which they fixed. It started leaking again on checkout day.
Two members of staff stood out. Nary at reception who dealt with everything and apologised. The second is Rin at breakfast who understands true hospitality. Both are stars!
All the other staff I came across throughout my stay were also attentive, polite and respectful, I am talking about cleaners, security etc.
Would I stay here again? NO. Unless you turn it into a true 5 star hotel.
MANAGEMENT you need to INVEST in your property. Flies and mosquitos at reception toilets are unacceptable, as are cloth towels there (unhygienic).
A/C at reception is a must!
Please do not serve cardboard bread at breakfast. The crust was tough!!
What hotel does not have a TV that you can just switch on and catch up with the news. Apparently you need to have a TV stick and be shown how to get channels!

I would stay here again. It the heart of the action yet quiet at night. Styled with a modern take on the temples you're probably here to see. Probably the best massage I've ever had. Can't forget the friendly staff atvthe breakfast buffet I made my ritual to see every morning.

The staff at this resort are the best ive experienced in 45 countries. Absolutely amazing, can never do enough for you. A bit of confusion upon arrival, got 'upgraded' to a suite in the sister hotel across the road. Breakfast and pool are available to all guests in both resort's. Quality, service and location were all perfection. Could not recommend more highly

Great hotel at the heart of the city. Close to the Pub Street and the night market so loads of dining options and great for souvenir shopping.

Staff were amazing and very helpful, definitely the highlight of the hotel, couldn't commend them enough.

The room was spacious and with a very comfortable bed. Had to get the staff for a firestick to watch live tv due to some works as otherwise the option would be either YouTube or Netflix. The signal for the firestick wasn't great but since we didn't spend much time in the room, wasn't a massive issue.

Breakfast was at their sister hotel across the road. It was very good on two occasions but on one, when we had a bit of a lie in and went later at 8.30am, the hot buffet wasn't replenished so was scrapping the dried up spaghetti. The manager at our hotel said he would speak to them but wouldn't hold it against them since it is at a different property.

Had dinner a couple of times and a complementary lunch at the hotel, which was excellent so very happy with both the service and the food.

All in all, very happy with our stay and would stay here again if we ever go back to Siem Reap.

So you would think a Hotel with a perfect rate on Hotels.com / Expedia is suspicious and can't be for real, right?

But Golden Temple Boutique hotel managed to be simply the perfect stay in Cambodia. I wished i had stayed longer there and i was truely sad to leave. The staff is simply amazing, they will make you feel like Kings and Queens thewhile entire stays. On top of that,if you select their tour packages, you will be in for an amazing curated experie ce that never feels dull and that always manages to impress you at every turn.Shout out to our tour guide Kim and the driver Soun, they really made us feel like we were the most welcome in their country. Honestly don't be scared to come to Cambodia, there are a LOT, LOT, of worse places to be in the world!

Room presentation is beautiful with a lovely welcome message on the bed. Staff were faultless - always available and helpful and friendly. Special mention to Eric at breakfast - A lovely lad. The breakfast choices are good and something there for everyone and staff will go out of way to prepare something for you if there is nothing to your liking. The Aspara dancing presented by the hotel was great. The hotel is conveniently located in the heart with beer street and night market only 5 minutes walk away.

This is my favorite Hotel in Siem Reap. It is my second time staying there, and I'm sure I will come back. I'm an architect, highly interested in Khmer architecture, and there is no better place than Angkor Wat and the surrounding temples to experience it. From the moment we arrived at Golden Temple Boutique, we were treated with warmth and care by every member of the team. Victoria reached out shortly after we booked to offer help and local recommendations — from restaurants to cultural shows — and made us feel right at home even before we got there. She also helped us arrange a private van from Sihanoukville Pier to the hotel. The driver was professional, spoke both English and Khmer, and the van was spacious, clean, and air-conditioned — perfect for our group of six and all our luggage.

The hospitality didn’t stop there. The front desk staff helped us make reservations at some of the best restaurants we’ve ever experienced. The rooms were spotless, cool, and incredibly comfortable. They even packed us to-go breakfast boxes for our 5am Angkor Wat tour, which was such a thoughtful touch. One of our favorite experiences was the traditional Apsara dinner performance right at the hotel — delicious food and a beautiful show, all for an extremely reasonable price.

Golden Temple Boutique made our family vacation to Siem Reap truly unforgettable. We can’t thank them enough and would recommend them to anyone looking for a stay that goes above and beyond.

My wife and I are having a Southeast Asia trip and this property has been the best out of 6 hotels we have stayed in so far. The staff are beyond great human beings you can just feel their kind energy all around the hotel. I normally don’t use the swimming pools at hotels, but it was impossible no to swim in this gorgeous swimming pool. The Spa area was fantastic, best massage ever. Food was delicious and they helped us arranging airport pick up and tours. 10/10

Out of this world service! Every single one of the staff members went above and beyond to make our stay extra comfortable and memorable. We got a room upgrade, a free bottle of wine, a free lunch and a free dinner at two Fine dining restaurants with transportation included, and a free spa massage during check in, for a price that we couldn't wrap our heads around (comparable to fraction of a dinner for two at a mediocre restaurant back home). The room was exceptionally clean and very spacious. Drinking water is provided. Breakfast is delicious, abundant and varied, with both, local and international options to choose from, and they even had a vegetarian menu with no extra charge. The typical dance show was very nice to watch. You can see the stories behind and how the movements of the dancers connect with their culture and way of living. I could go on and on sharing many details, but it will make my review boring 😉 Special shout out to: Nary, Theary, Vyctoria, Yuth, our tuk-tuk driver Seth, our taxi transfer driver Preng (a.k.a James Bond 😅), my massage lady Song, all the breakfast staff, and really everyone during our stay. Highly recommend the Khmer Journey massage by the way 👌

This place is amazing!! We pulled up and it didn’t even look like a hotel. We were greeted immediately. This hotel outshined all the hotels we stayed in Cambodia and we stayed at a lot. The staff was amazing. Each and everyone of them. They gave us our welcome drink and checked us in and went over everything.I let them know that I would be celebrating my birthday ahead of time and they DID NOT DISAPPOINT!! They set the room up so beautifully and they even came to my room and sang Happy Birthday. That was such a surprise! I just happened to have my phone in my hand when they rang the doorbell because I thought they were bringing the luggage in and when I opened the door, they stood there singing Happy Birthday to me with a fruit cake. I was touched!! With VIP, we were given a bottle of wine. The open bathroom was unusual but workable. Our room also came with a bathtub, although we didn’t use it. I loved that we could sit on the balcony and have a drink or sit on the sofa and just relax. The TV worked and I was able to watch YouTube or Netflix when not out on the bustling amazing Streets of Siem Reap. We dined in the restaurant a couple times. Service was great, the food and drinks were just okay, but it didn’t take away from our experience. Our only disappointment was we wanted to stay an extra night, but the cost was more per night than we had already paid so we decided to go somewhere else. Other than that, we had a marvelous time at Golden Temple.

A home away from home!

We couldn't stay the first night at the Golden Temple Boutique, & stayed instead at the Golden Temple Villa. Joey of the Golden Temple Boutique warmly welcomed us. The bed in our room was beautifully decorated with fresh flower petals. For our first full day in Siem Reap, Joey arranged a private car & an English speaking guide to take us to Angkor Wat. While we were away, the staff moved our suitcases to the Golden Temple Boutique. Seamless!

The guide was very knowledgeable about Angkor Wat. We walked through 3 temple areas. Each time, we arrived at an exit / entrance, the hotel driver met us, and offered us, in the vehicle, a refreshing cold wet facecloth, a bottle of cold water & a chance to cool down, before driving us to the next temple area.

Before we went to Siem Reap, we arranged, through Joey, a private car to meet us at Siem Reap airport & one to take us back to the airport when we left. Joey also arranged a birdwatching trip, by boat, on the second day.

It is easy to walk past the Golden Temple Boutique & not notice it. The entrance into the hotel, once you find it, is a calm & serene oasis, with running water, beautiful plants & flowers.

The buffet breakfast was excellent with lots of choice, & we enjoyed other meals. Our room was large, well appointed & very clean. The staff, especially Joey, were wonderful & kind. We would love to stay again at the Golden Temple Boutique. Truly, a home away from home.

Although almost all tourists go to Siem Reap for the temples, but there is no need to choose a hotel “closer” to the temples, as I find it best to be close to where you will also spent time walking around, especially in the evenings going to restaurants and bars. First class service, large rooms, and always friendly and smiling staff. Note that the “Golden Temple” group has 5 hotels in Siem Reap so it’s important to know which one you are going to for Tuk-Tuks and taxis. I had reserved at the “Golden Temple Boutique” hotel but I was lodged across the street at the “GoldenTemple Residence” hotel which is the one I am reviewing.

We had a great stay here. Rooms and decor are very unique- like you are in a temple, but much more comfortable! Beds, pillows, AC, etc are all in great, new condition. Staff are super polite and accommodating - genuinely happy to have you staying with them. Breakfast was really good - better than other hotels we stayed at in Siem Reap (this is our second time visiting). Location is the best - restaurants, markets, and all sorts of shopping right here. We had our laundry done just a few meters away around the corner. Super convenient. We won’t hesitate to make this our home base again in the future.

I have been to 40 countries and love a good hotel This was the best Not only was absolutely gorgeous and the rooms are large, but when I arrived I was told there was a complimentary bottle of red wine in my room, a $20 credit for the spa, which was outstanding and I went twice, they also included a complimentary lunch And each day when I came back from being out all day, the greeted me with a smile and an ice cold cloth to cool myself off If I needed anything, they attended to it immediately I can not say enough good things about this place You must stay here!!!

The architecture, layout, furniture, and amenities are all thoughtfully designed and beautiful. But what truly sets this place apart is the staff. They take care of every need with genuine warmth and a smile.

Visal, the manager, was incredibly helpful in every aspect of our stay. And at the front desk, Nari stood out with her welcoming smile and kind demeanor. She always had a bottle of water ready and was quick to offer help or a kind word — a true reflection of Cambodian warmth and hospitality.

I haven’t experienced the kind of tremendous hospitality that this hotel have shown us. This place is one of a kind, and a place close to my heart. From the welcoming smiles of the staff from Joey in the front desk to Ratanak from the restaurant. To their amazing Manager. Everyone’s just incredible. A welcoming peanut, banana chips and refreshing lemon drink to start your experience. To cold towel offered everytime you come back after a long hot trip outside. The respect and accommodation that they made us feel. That’s not the end of this amazing experience. I was surprised not once but twice with an early birthday gift. First, I was watching the Apsara show and in the middle of the show, I found myself being greeted by all the staff with a Happy Birthday with Fruit Cake. Second, I came back from a long trip to Angkor Wat and entered my room. A full on Birthday Decorations were prepared in our room with Balloon, flowers and greeting cars. I was blown away, I was speechless. I am truly grateful for the experience and hospitality from Golden Temple Boutique. I will take this experience back to Los Angeles with my heart full of love for this place. Thank you! For all the other staff that I cannot mention by name, know that I am also grateful to you guys as well.
