Great option for Siem Reap!

Cannot say enough good things about this hotel! They arranged complimentary tansportation to/from the airport. Every staff member at the hotel was friendly and personable (cracking jokes, asking about our tours/plans etc). They arranged an awesome tour of Angkor Wat the night before we wanted to go. Breakfast was included and with omelette station as well as Western/traditional breakfast items. The lobby was open/airy with a pool and our rooms were spacious with a great shower and AC unit. Additionally, the location was perfect and we walked around town and to multiple markets. We were sad to leave after a few days and will definitely stay again next time we are in Siem Reap. We will be back.

My wife and I spent 6 wonderful nights at this hotel as we explored Siem Reap. The staff were wonderful in every way of looking after us. Breakfast although simple was very tasty and always coming with a smile. Arrangements for airport transportation were flawless. The 3 day temple tour they arranged was the best tour with the best guide, Sam, that we have ever had.

Excellent first trip to Cambodia

My husband and I stayed here for 5 days and felt so comfortable and well taken care of by the staff. All the staff were friendly, helpful and always smiling. We would definitely recommend our friends and family to stay here!

Just a few suggestions:
1. Have more lights or stronger lights in the room. With the curtains drawn for privacy, felt that the room lights were too dim to read. Even the lights in the shower was very dim
2. Have another shelf in the shower area. There was only a small shelf and I had to put some of my toiletries on the floor.
3. Have a few hooks in the shower area to hang clothes, toiletries bag, etc
4. Have a list of places to visit / things to do, etc for guests. There were only a few individual brochures in the lobby but a complete list with some details of all the sights/things to do would help guests to plan their itinerary for their stay

Other than that, we thoroughly enjoyed our trip and the staff definitely made the difference during our stay.

Super value for money. Nice room with excellent service from Aden and the breakfast is decent as well. Location is slightly out from pub street area but a 1usd tuk tuk can settle that. Room is comfy and nice with balcony but the shower can be improved as there is rust smell in the water.

This is the 2nd time of staying here. All of the staff are excellent. Cannot do enough for you. Reception staff incredible. Helped us with booking trips, bus travel to battambang also sorted out for tut tut driver to take us to clinic as my husband unwell. Cannot praise them enough. Also room amazing.

I really liked all the services in this hotel. I used airport pick-up/drop service for round trip, and the breakfast was excellent. Especially because the hotel staff were so kind, I got too much help. They always greeted me kindly, asked me about my day's schedule, and asked me if I had been well when I got back to the hotel after the tour. They tried their best not to make me uncomfortable, and it made me remember this hotel as much as Angkor Wat, who visited for the first time. I am planning a family trip to Angkor Watro this time, and I am planning to use this hotel.

Oasis in Siem Reap

This hotel was a nice oasis in the middle of Siem Reap. The staff, particularly Robert and Rose in the restaurant took time to chat (I was travelling alone) which I appreciated. Everything in my room worked as expected. The only thing they could improve was the wifi/internet which was inconsistent - sometimes fine, sometimes slow.

What an amazing staff!

We highly recommend this hotel. It's in a good location; an easy walk to Pub Street and a few small bars even closer. The immediate area is interesting, but safe.

As for the hotel itself, it has everything you could ask for in a boutique hotel, and then some. We've stayed in a a few hotels that were more luxurious, but not many. And the service is literally the best we've ever had at a hotel, far exceeding even that of high-end luxury hotel chains that pride themselves on their level of service. The staff is super helpful, and bends over backward to help you arrange transportation, tours, and entertainment. Even though we only stayed for two nights, everyone went out of their way to get to know us, and by the time we left we felt like we were saying goodbye to family.

We really wish we could have stayed longer, and if we ever return to Siem Reap, we will definitely be staying there.

Nice hotel with excellent services by the staff. Extremely friendly and caring staff. Spacious room with facilities.
I personally feel hotel needs some renovation, experienced some minor issues but due to the warmth attention and care by hotel staff - non of those really bothered me. Hotel provides free airport pickup and drop off. Special thank to one of the staff members for his extra help (as I remember his name is Devon or similar). Good breakfast.
Guests can talk to the hotel staff to arrange your tours as hotel may have better options than elsewhere

This hotel is a gem. This is the third time that I have stayed at the hotel and I continue to appreciate the hotel and its staff. The location is great; it is near the center of Siem Reap. It is a four block walk to the city center where the bars (not of interest to me), dining, and both markets are located. This is a much better location than where the large, luxurious hotels are located, which is on the main road that leads out to the airport. Those hotels would require transport to the center of the city. The staff are wonderful, friendly, and very helpful. The lobby and other public areas have delightful plants and artful decorations. The room comes with a breakfast buffet with several choices and an omelette chef. The room is well equipped: good bed, small frig, 2 bottles of water each day, toiletries, safe, rain shower, plenty of hot water, AC, hair drier, and good wifi. The TV has some English stations (e.g., BBC, CNN). There is a pool, although I haven't used it--it is quite small and I'm a lap swimmer. I consider this hotel to be excellent value.

Ruined our family vacation.

The hotel gave us 15 seconds notice before fogging the entire property with acrid mosquito smoke while we were trapped in our room with our baby and 2 kids, contaminating all our clothing also. They then washed our pesticide-laden laundry with fragranced detergent instead of the free and clear detergent we asked them to use that we had lugged from overseas, ruining our clothes and leaving us with almost no clothes to wear for the remainder of our vacation.

Very good service from staff. Room was too hot even with air con on, got changed to another bigger room at the new building at a cooler location and newer air con.

Breakfast buffet was not too bad for vegetarian. The hotel offers packed breakfast for us leaving at 4:30 sunrise tour, was a good option to have. Though the packed breakfast was really pretty minimal, could be improved I think.
Small pool. Common area like lobby and dinning place are open air with no air con.

Really nice little place to stay, the room we stayed in was good size with a beautiful outdoor bath. The pool was OK, sometimes it looked like it needed a bit of cleaning/correction. The staff went above and beyond to try to help us enjoy our trip; the only feedback that I could give is to the housekeepers; on some occasions, things didn't get replenished (like water or soap) and sometimes they did. I would definitely be happy to stay here again though.

The staff was great, warm, friendly and helpful. The location was great and most tuk-tuk drivers seem to know where it is. The room was spacious with airport transfer and breakfast included.

Feedback for the property:

- We had breakfast in the hotel twice -- once when there was a big group back from the half-marathon and the food and service speed was decent. The second time there was only one other couple but it took forever for us to get our fried eggs (the staff seemed to have forgotten to inform the chef) and when we got the eggs, they were undercooked so we dare not eat them. At that point after 15 minutes, we also had no time left to ask the chef to cook the eggs again.

- Our airport transfer from the airport was super smooth and very comfortable. Our airport transfer to the airport however was a bit bumpy. We had requested 1pm transfer the day before, and reminded the staff multiple times on the day of, but when it was time to go, the staff informs us that the car has not arrived yet as there is traffic with the King in town. After 15-20 minutes, we checked with the staff again and this time they say we're waiting for other guests who are also going to the airport. This makes the story about the traffic/King seems suspicious and if they want to coordinate the transfer with other guests, it should have been done upfront and communicated clearly with the guests.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel is very tranquil. However the area around the hotel is a bit noisy and busy. However very convenient to walk in the center of town.

The hotel arranged a tuk tuk for us to see angkorvwst and the other temples, this was convenient.

However we also did the halfvsay excursion to rhe floating village. The hotel recommended this independent tour company. It was a waste of time. The guide was very bad. I would not recommend this.

However the hotel was great. The rooms were clean and spacious.

The location was easy walking to all the action and shopping in town. We would definitely stay here if we’re in Siem Reap again. They offered private tours to the temples but we decided to take a group tour that we arranged ourselves and the staff didn’t have any negative teaction to our choice. Staff was great, very helpful and friendly. The rooms have sliding glass doors and so to get any privacy, curtains have to be drawn which makes the room dark. Also the doors don't close all the way which allows mosquitoes to come in through the crack.

The Diamond was perfect for us. We needed just a comfortable hotel after long days of exploring and the staff made our stay perfect. They were incredibly friendly, remembered our names, accommodated all of our requests with huge smiles, and helped us feel very much at home. 1. This hotel is very close to all major centres eg. Siem Reap city, Old market shopping complex and adjoining reputable restaurants, temple and all other facilities. Lots of shops/restaurants next to the hotel.

We were treated with a nice cold juice on arrival which was so needed as the humidity was extreme. We had an early flight and this wasn’t a problem as our room was ready for us early. The staff were always helpful and can speak very good English. An amazing full buffet breakfast each morning is available with English and Asian foods. It is walking distance to Pub Street and all of the Local markets but make sure to wear decent footwear as the footpaths are quite broken up. Take a Tuktuk to Angkor Wat and to the Killing fields. This should be no more than $20 for the day.
The amazing history and stories of these places is both breathtaking and sad but it is a must do in Siam Reap

Restaurant is very good but one night they were closed for a private event. We booked a guide and driver to the temples for both days but first day the guide was not very good so we had to request a new one and the second one was much better. It’s unfortunate for the first bad experience. Small confusion on laundry so it wasn’t done like I had hoped but partially a misunderstanding. Overall would stay again.

Found this gem and the experience was amazing all the way. First, we had complimentary airport transfer then was welcomed with cold towels and drinks upon arrival at the hotel. Room was spacious and bed was comfy. The pool looked great (a pity I forgot my swimming suit..).

But I got to say the service here is impeccable. The most friendly hotel staff I have ever met - remembers our first names and always ready to give us advice :) shout out to jiiry and jessica. We'll definitely be back here again!

The hotel staff are beyond amazing- they are attentive to your every need and SUPER helpful. They even make a point to remember the guests’ names so you get a personal greeting whenever you get “home” from your daily activities. We did have the opportunity to experience the loudspeaker ceremonies as described in some posts (started at around 5am and I’m not sure that it ever stopped... ), but this is something you would deal with no matter where you stayed. HIGHLY recommend trying this place out.

This was a fabulous place. My daughter Hannah and I were guests here. The staff was the friendliest and most accommodating of anywhere I have stayed before. We loved Cambodia and all of the staff . I definetely will recommend this hotel to everyone I know.

Amazing staff!

We had an amazing time as Diamond D’Angkor. The staff could not have been any more helpful. They were friendly, polite and genuinely wanted you to have a great time. We particularly loved Jiiry who was bubbly, fun and made a real effort to make us feel welcome. This is a beautiful little hotel and perfect distance from Pub Street; not too far, not too close!

Good stay

Location is good. Close to Pub Street. Bathroom and toilet are in 2 separate rooms which is not convenient. The sink and shower are in stone color, can't tell if they are clean or not. It is dirty behind the sink for sure. Staff are very friendly. We are being greeted when we exit or come back to the hotel. Good breakfast choices.

Great staff and location.

Collected from the airport was Included and we were welcomed at reception by smiling happy helpful staff. Location in town is brilliant, not far to walk and there are hotel tuk tuks right outside. Room, or should I say suite is clean with the unexpected free mini bar, with endless supply of water and beer. Pool is great for relaxing by and the open reception area beautiful for sitting in and catching up with emails etc. WiFi is free too. Breakfast provided each morning with fresh coffee, omelet and fruit. We had a late flight booked and dear Jessica was wonderful booked us an excursion to fill up our morning and provided us with late checkout. Oh and whenever you come back from a hot adventure you are welcomed by a refreshing cold towel. So if you want a high quality, true Cambodia attention this is the place

nice hotel, the staff were friendly. convenient location, close to night market and pub street. breakfast was ok, the only draw back was the Wi-Fi in our room wasn't so good. I would stay here again and recommend this hotel.

Wonderful hotel with brilliant service

What a fantastic hotel with a lovely team of people. Location is ideal, breakfast is varied and tasty, service from staff is excellent. I would certainly recommend the Diamond D’Angkor Boutique Hotel if you are staying in Siem Reap!

Comfortable place to stay near Market

Staff was very helpful in recommending and arranging tours in our limited time here. They didn’t push anything on you to do. Just gave you your options. They knew and remembered your name and greeted you by name when they saw you. That was a nice personal touch. Overall a pleasant stay.

Booked a tour of Ang Ko Wat through hotel. Driver and tour guide were good..Guide Sam speaks good English and knowlegeable.

Tropical style and very nice staff

The first thing that I want to say is the staff is really kind and helpful. They are willing to everything to help. The open-air restaurant and swimming pool made us feel good. It takes a few minutes walk to the most popular bar and restaurant area in the town. the hotel can help to plan the trips to visit Angkor sites and arrange the transportation we choose.

Fantastic location with really friendly staff

I stayed there for 7 days and it was an absolutely terrific experience.
The location is great, walking distance to all of the night markets, pub street and movie theatre.
Staff is always warm and friendly and makes the effort to inquire on your day and how they can improve it.
Breakfast buffet was good as.well with an assortment of food that changes daily.
All in all, one of my best hotel experiences.

What an incredible hotel. It felt like a 5 star

LOVED, LOVED, LOVED this hotel!!! Make no mistake -this is the best place to stay at in Cambodia. So clean, lovely staff, breakfast included and airport transfer included as well. Cannot wait to go back there already.
