Positives:
Excellent stay. Bed was extremely comfortable! Large room, king bed, A/C unit and ceiling fan. Beautiful internal facing balcony over looking the pool was great for drying wet clothes and sitting out on the sun. Great very clean large bathroom with a tub and separate shower.

A few blocks from the old market and all of the hustle and bustle of the touristy stuff but on a very chill and quiet street. Staff was helpful and proactive. Included breakfast and gave us to go bags when we did the sunrise tour. Pool was great! Restaurant and bar was also excellent.

opportunities for improvement:

The WiFi in the rooms. It was very unpredictable and very slow/weak at best. Rooms do not have streaming smart TVs so you’re stuck with local channels. (*Note, If I had seen these comments when booking, I would have ignore them. after 2 months of travel in east Asia we’ve learned, the hard way, that strong WiFi in the rooms is an absolute must in 2025.

Keep this in mind when booking. You will NOT be able to check emails, make WhatsApp calls or buffer a Netflix/Youtube program in your room.

They peek inside your room.

I usually don't write bad reviews.
But this hotel is totally disgusting. Hotel staff need to learn manner. They don't know how to respect guests privacy. In the morning 8 am, they randomly open the guests room without knocking the door. They don't care whether there is guest inside the room or not, they don't care whether you are not wearing clothes or taking shower. They just tap the master key card, and Boom, open the door to see what are you doing.
I wanted to stay in this hotel for 4 days, but because this happened to me too( they opened my room without knocking the door with their key card), i check out of this hotel soon right after that.
All couples, i strongly suggest not to book this hotel if you want privacy.
Maybe there is some hidden camera too. Just be careful in this hotel. They peeked us in our private time.
I do not recommend this hotel to anyone.

OKAY COULD BE BETTER

Hotel is in an excellent location, easy to get to Pub street and Night market. Hotel could do with some updating in rooms ; rooms are very basic if they put some flowers or pictures up it could make the room more welcoming; lobby was the nicest; water, coffee, tea and sugar had to be requested for replenishment every time ; they did not clean our room until I asked them to after that they did it every day; BREAKFAST was an issue - no western type breakfast - this has been complained about in other people’s reviews but obviously Bayon have not made any changes, breakfast is very basic - noodles/ rice/ bacon if it doesn’t get finished as the don’t replenish it/ some kind of small sausages and egg on request - same every day . Tea is very weak don’t know about coffee as did not drink it,
It’s an okay hotel staff are good / rooms are not what you see online/
WiFi not brill / there is no tv which was disappointing

The Manager and Staff make for a Peasant Stay

When we arrived, we were shown to a room with a shower, even though I booked a room with a deep soaking bath tub. The very friendly and helpful manager corrected this straight away and gave us a spacious room with a bath tub. In fact, for us it was the manager, the reception staff and the very friendly young lady in the breakfast room who all contributed to a pleasant stay. The location of the hotel is in a quiet side street of Soksan, but still in walking distance to Pub Street and the Night Market. My friend enjoyed the pool and spent many hours there, especially on days where it was quiet. The let down of this hotel is the breakfast. It is geared towards the Asian group tours and offers little for the Western tastes. This should be improved. Muesli, Cornflakes, better jams and more variety of fruits would go a long way. We actually purchased some breakfast items from the supermarket. Another disappointment was that the cable for the TVs in the rooms broke down and we were given a notice that this would be indefinite due to larger repairs. No compensation was offered. We would say 4 star is a bit too grand on an international scale, but the hotel definitely offers a reasonable 3 star experience.

Fantastic hotel

I truly had an amazing stay with my friends! This hotel is situated great in Cambodia and we were staying about a 10 min walk to Pub Street which had a variety of restaurants as well as Night Markets. The staff were covert helpful and they definitely went above and beyond to ensure I had a good stay! Thank you kindly and I highly recommend it for anyone travelling.

Great hotel in Siem Reap. Newer built hotel circa 2016, so everything is new and clean. I had a lovely room with double bed. It was very comfortable. I enjoyed the shower/tub combo, also the outside balcony. The staff are very nice and accommodating. Easy walk to the river or Pub Street, about ten minutes.
Many restaurants, bars and shops in the area.
I extended my stay from three to six nights as I enjoyed the hotel and surrounding area so much.

Very cute hotel. neat room, crisp white sheets and comfy big comforter. balcony was a plus! Staff is accommodating, we will definitely come back. I love hotels like this, and the breakfast omelet was very good! fruit after amazing. most tuk tuks found our hotel with ease. pub street is a 5-7min walk max. 15-20 ride to temples. its all around a wonderful hotel. thank you to all of you who made our stay wonderful!!! we will be back!~

Great location.

I had a great experience with this hotel. It’s a quiet area (quiet when there isn’t construction going on) but very centrally located. The staff are friendly and helpful. Someone is always available if you have questions or need help arranging tours or transportion. I would definitely use them again.

Amazing little gem tucked away in a quiet alley. Airport pickup was on time. Hotel was spotlessly clean and staff always greeted with a smile, nothing was too much trouble. They organised tours for us and helped with booking bus tickets at the last minute.
Would definitely recommend to friends and stay here again

Staff were very helpful and welcoming, and spoke very good English. Close ten minute walk to the pub street where all the bars and restaurants are. They picked us up from the airport and sorted out our Angkor wat tour for us and our driver was lovely. Breakfast was good.

The room was nice good air conditioning and clean. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. The standards were very poor and it's unfortunate. They had barely anything available on the menu we had to go elsewhere for lunch and dinner. They had to drill the hairdryer onto the wall for us as it was not available on arrival which made things uncomfortable.

Daily cleaning is not done properly.

ロケーションは裏が空き地で、メインストリートから路地に入ったところのホテルなので、夜は暗い。フロントは小さなカウンターがあるだけのものですが、スタッフはとても親切です。観光の手助けをしてくれます。通常のツアーパンフレットもありますが、ホテルのツアーを利用しました。ほてるせんぞじゅのツゥクツゥクドライバーのイーさんは、とても優しい。客室も大きくはないが、清潔で快適でした。

시설 : 청소정도는 깨끗함. 좁고 방음이 안됨. 객실 휴지통이 없고, 2베드 중 1개의 베드 베개에서 곰팡이발견.
직원 : 엄청 친절합니다.
위치 : 번화가에서 애매한 걷기에도 뚝뚝을 타기에도 애매한 위치여서
서비스 : 편도 무료픽업이라고 적혀있었지만 9시 이후 라는 이유로 12달러 지불함.
총 4박 중 1회의 객실 청소를 맡겼는데 청소는 잘됐지만 디테일이 좀 떨어짐.
기본적으로 매일 바꿔야할물품들 조차도 바꿔주지않아 프론트에 전화해서 해결함.
물2병, 샤워타올2장, 화장실 휴지 추가, 사용한 커피잔 치우지않음. < 매일 해야할 기본적인것들 아님?;;
더워 죽겠는데 카드키 1장밖에 안줘서 나갔다 들어오면 맨날 더운방에 들어갔어야했음.
음식 : 뷔페식이 아니라 주문식이었는데 볶음밥이 존맛
하루는 수영장에서 놀면서 맥주마셨는데 맥주시키니까 향신료 볶음땅콩 주던데 암튼 직원은 엄청 친절함.

재방문 의사는 없음. 다른곳을 경험하고싶음.
