This hotel is located in the small town of D’Altino, which can be convenient to stay at for cost purposes.

Making the trip to Venice is a 25 minutes journey by train (there are 2 trains per hour) and then you can take the 1 hour boat ride to the main center of Venice.

If you miss your stop to D’Altino like we did on the last train around 12 am as 2 young ladies ( because the stops are not always mentioned or show up on the screen) don’t count on help or sympathy from the nighttime hotel receptionist who will tell you that the phone is ringing a lot and he’s the only one there so he can’t help you.

Ubers are rarely used in this small town and so they’re hard to get. On the night we missed our stop, the uber cost about $90 dollars.
Unless you’re well versed with using European train systems, please stay in a more populated and closer town to Venice like Mestre or better yet spend more money to stay in Venice for peace of mind.

The hotel itself is clean and not bad. They have a breakfast selection for an additional add on. It’s a good deal.

We stayed over one night to tour Venice for one day. After check in we tried to have a quick bite at the bar that offered lunch items. Our drinks came right away then a staff member seemed like she forgot to put in our lunch items- there were two of them and we waited for what seemed to be an hour for the lunch items. It seemed like the person who took the order might have been new but the order was not put in until the more supervisory person asked about it and why it was not ready. Other than this the hotel was wonderful and so convenient to transportation and Venice City.

Traveling from the US to Venice, the hotel was actually about 20 minutes away from the airport. Hotel provided a free shuttle to and from the airport. Easy to book. The train is literally outside of the hotel, so traveling back to Venice for day trips was very simple and straightforward to navigate. Everyone spoke English very well which was very helpful because we had a lot of questions. Breakfast at the hotel was great also. Nice neighborhood with shops and restaurants within walking distance.

The hotel was clean, the rooms spacious and the staff was friendly and helpful. The proximity to the train station made it easy to travel to San Lucia for the day and the hotel breakfast was amazing. The on sight restaurant and bar made dinner plans easy and the food was delicious. I would highly recommend this hotel.

It was an okay hotel for one night before our flight home the next day. Rough around the edges and a strange odor in the room. Also, at 3 am the lights kept coming on and off (along with AC) even though we had the keycard in the slot as you need to. Luckily we had to be up at 4 am anyway for our flight otherwise we would have gotten no sleep. The one good thing about the hotel was the shuttle services to and from the airport

The hotel staff were extremely polite and helpful. the room was comfortable. The only issue was the restaurant. The service was great, but the food definitely not worth the price. We tried in on two occasions and were disappointed both times. I would suggest eating elsewhere. The hotel is well worth it. And it is so close to the train station. We will definitely return.

There were four adults in our group, and we received a large room with one king bed and two single beds. The bathroom was spacious and well-equipped. They have a traditional restaurant and a bar that also serves food. The staff was quite helpful, prompt, and friendly. Although we missed using their free shuttle service, it’s good to know they offer it for future stays.

Overall a nice hotel with reputation of Crowne Plaza. One was inconvenient was that there was no power outlets on the bedside which I don’t ever recall any hotels don’t have outlet by the night table. You have to plug your phone charger on the TV wall, that wasn’t convenient at all. The coffee at breakfast was very good!

The hotel was fine for a quick stay. We were flying out the next day so just needed to be close to the airport. Really appreciated the free airport shuttle as most places were charging. The front desk staff were kind enough to let us switch our shuttle time the night before as well. The real standout for the hotel is Joesph/ Giuseppe who worked in the restaurant. He went out of his way to make every guests experience a special one. He was so attentive and kind. He gave us extra information on the wine and where is came from. He was phenomenal.

I was in a different room this time and the wifi was not as good as the room I had before, but I was tired and didn't feel like a Whatsapp call anyway. This hotel is wonderful. I chose it partly for the airport shuttle, but I found it to be outstanding in all areas. It even has a restaurant and bar that also serves light dishes on the premises. I arrived exhausted from travel and was happy to make use of these without having to go out looking for something nearby. I give Crowne Plaza a 10!

This is a great hotel to spend your first/last night in Italy. The shuttle service was easy to set up, the driver was prompt and easy to find at the Marco Polo airport. The hotel is quiet, away from crowded, busy places and the perfect spot to rest and relax after a long flight. It is only a 15 min drive from the airport, so very easy to access airport services and water taxis to Venice. The breakfast was far better than many other included breakfasts I had during my stay in Italy. The bar serves a quick and easy menu. The room is very clean and comfortable. The staff were very welcoming and accommodating. I highly recommend this hotel, whatever your travel plans are.

Great location if you’re relying on public transport the train station is just a short walk behind the hotel, making it very easy to get into Venice.

I also appreciated the daily housekeeping and the hardwood floors in the room, which were a nice touch as I prefer them over carpet. The breakfast staff were friendly, and the selection was good.

However, the room experience was worse than poor. The hotel overall feels outdated for an IHG property. The bathroom was horrible old and with a strong sewage smell that was unbearable. We contacted IHG support, and hotel staff came to address the issue, but only sprayed what seemed like bleach. The smell did not go away and made the stay extremely uncomfortable.

After reading other low-rated reviews, it’s clear that these issues are not isolated and reflect ongoing problems that need to be addressed.

Overall, excellent convenience for transport, but the room quality — especially the bathroom — needs serious attention and proper maintenance. I did appreciate the hotel transportation to the airport.
