We went down to the front desk at least 10 times to try to have someone fix our safe. It was never fixed . No air conditioning, and no help with transportation. The staff made it very apparent they just don't care about guests. We asked to be switched to a different room and they said no. The room is so outdated, the showerhead and toilet seat were broken, I could not even wash my hair. The room smelled weird and the windows did not fully open. I could not sleep because of the outside noise. I could not wait to leave this place. I needed to just spend a night there before catching the fligth. I would not want to stay there any longer. Loved the place. It is 5 miles away from transport station, but very easy to get there with bus #19. After a day in the really busy area of the grand canal of Venice, it was nice to get to this quiet and impeccable space.

Needed a place to stay overnight before heading out to the Dolomites. Hotel Altieri was a good choice. The room was a little outdated, but clean. The staff was excellent and very helpful, even helped find another guest to split the fare to the airport (was raining and we didn't want to walk to the bus stop even though it was very close.) The breakfast that was included was very good and fullfilling.

The hotel location was approx3 miles from airport which was nice. The AC in room was loud and did not work properly! The bed was uncomfortable. The cost was very affordable and getting to Venice with the bus was very easy (approx 20 minutes bus ride)

Not worth the price. Bad experience
This hotel was a bad experience. The bed is so uncomfortable. The headboard of the bed was so dirty and full of stains. The tv is basically a computer screen. The shower is super small. And to top it all up the towels that we used and left on the floor were folded back and placed on the rack in the shower, dirty and wet as we left them (just folded). It was so disgusting that we left one night before eventhough we paid for two night.

Hotel is 10 min from airport but still 20 euro cab ride. Gruff greeting at check-in. Room had broken curtain so room not dark. Bathroom had small shower with mildew and paint peeling off ceiling. Hard Pillows. Cold continental breakfast. On the plus side the internet connection was good. We were there less than 12 hours before going to airport.

There was a funny sign in the breakfast area that says something like “please you do not have any right to bring food out of this room”. The initial interaction with a the male receptionist was ok. He was professional but was not very accommodating. We requested for extra pillows and he saidbyes but we never got them. Room was dated and had a funky smell but otherwise clean and comfortable. The lady receptionist upon our checkout turned our experience around. She was so nice and went out of her way to get us a ride to the airport. She was smiling the whole time, asked us about our stay and made us feel welcome (considering we were checking out). Breakfast selection was ok.

The hotel is pretty close to the airport, I would say 7 min driving, but the taxi costs €30 honestly don’t know why, so if you are staying here try to take the bus instead. The hotel staff was okay. The room and the appliances really old but the bathroom was renovated and nice. We only stayed one night and everything was ok. The breakfast is serve from 6am to 10:30am and they don’t have much variety, but I think that is enough. It was really nice having breakfast included. The hotel is located in Mestre, not Venice. If you want to go to Venice you have to take the bust and is about 25 min. If you want to save a couple bucks definitely stay here, but also don’t expect a lot.
