No longer a fan!

Seven of us stayed here many years ago and loved it, we were blown away by the beauty of the place and the kindness of everyone we met at the hotel. We had new people with us this time and raved about how excited we were to share it with them….this time we just felt disappointed. The staff was friendly enough, but there was no warmth from anyone other than the cleaning lady who was very kind. When we booked, it showed under amenities that breakfast was included. Upon arrival we were told that it was not included and cost 15.00 euro per person. It was definitely not a breakfast of that value. We tried to make a case showing what their website said about breakfast being included vs. every other place we stayed in which it stated specifically that there would be a fee. The front desk girl was kind enough about the situation when she tried explaining things, but it still left us with a bad taste as the explanation made no sense as it showed breakfast included as an amenity with no additional fee.
The sparkling wine and chips in the garden were a nice touch to start our stay.
The bedding was substandard, not soft at all and the pillows offered zero support as they were all so flat.
We are a very friendly family and found everyone to be very pretentious and we didn’t feel the warm welcome we had several years ago. We left feeling heavy hearted about this stay. Sadly, this will be our last stay at Villa Stucky.

This is the most beautiful hotel I've ever seen. The design and furniture is exquisite. It was clean, has elevator, free breakfast and the staff is amazing to get you anything you need. They will even call you a taxi if needed to get to the airport. A short walk will take you to many restaurants and shopping. Our whole family loved staying here.

No AC nor coffee in the room.
Staff were very courteous and location is great if ypi are going to Venice by train. The station is 8 minutes away walking.
The hotel is inexpensive and maybe that is why you can’t demand much.

Restaurant as described on the Expedia app was only a bar; a few restaurants within walking distance, though. Sauna was a joke because it didn’t seal and heated the room. Over-priced breakfast buffet…get local with better options and considerably cheaper.

It was amazing! Incredibly beautiful, the staff was so kind. They recommended great places to eat and were so helpful. The atmosphere was peaceful and clean, we left like we were transported back in time to the regency era it was gorgeous. We wish our stay was longer and we will definitely be coming back!

Paid for luxury suite and in my experience had no qualities of luxury. It was a cold evening and the bed only had sheet and thin duvet, no blanket for comfort and warmth.

Only windows in room are on ceiling and they are blocked by shutters.

No elevator to 3rd floor, only to second.

This is a unique accommodation. This is converted from an hundred year old mansion. All the deco show its great taste, history, beauty yet also modern functions. Breakfast is excellent in a graceful setting with great choices. 10-12 min walk to the train station, 30 min or so train ride takes you to Venice central station. Clean, safe and tasteful. Love it.

Beautiful hotel

The hotel is gorgeous! Everyone was extremely kind and helpful. The breakfast was yummy & the included cappuccinos were a special treat. The room was plenty big & the shower hot with good pressure. 5 minute walk to the train station. Would definitely stay here, again.

I wanted to love it, I was very exited about this property and ended up disappointed.There is room for improvement when referring to customer service, courtesy and manners. The Hotel Villa Stucky is wonderful, set just outside Venice, it is a beautiful period hotel, with excellent facilities and features. Very clean, lovely attentive staff. It is 5 minutes walk from the train station and a 15 minute train ride to Venice.
It has parking, which is great if you were driving and wanted to visit Venice. The village is very nice and has some lovely shops bars and cafe’s. All round wonderful!

Lovely property and really enjoyed my stay. On check-in there were a few small issues with the room that were promptly and professionally corrected. The breakfast was wonderful. The staff were so friendly I would definitely stay in this hotel again. Also very easy access to Venice via a short train ride.

There is little I could say negatively about our stay. We were guests for 4-days and 3 nights. The staff were friendly and helped out with many things (restaurant ideas, bank location, other random questions) all in English though I tried to speak (very poorly) in Italian. The room (camera quadruple) was perfect for my family (me, my spouse and our two children). We loved our stay so much , we wished we would have extended it in this area.

Not what I booked. Poor customer service.

Didn't get the room I booked, 3 premium suites available, I specifically booked the one with the jet TUB, but it wasn't available. Receptionist was rude both on check-in and a different one at check-out, where I was 'accused' of taking things from the mini bar, which I didn't even know I had and turned out to be an internal error. Poor sound insulation, very loud from guests and cleaning next door, slamming doors, etc., not very quiet at all.

My husband and I stayed at Hotel Villa Stuckey for 5 nights in early May 2023. I cannot say enough good things about this hotel. The rooms, the grounds, the location and the staff were all top notch! Everyone was so helpful and friendly. We have to give a special shout out to Alessia! She was the best! She went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed! My stay in the hotels was okay but I booked my stay with shuttle bus service from the airport to the hotel and front the hotel to the airport free but I have to pay to the taxi 45 euros comings to the hotels and 22 euros goings to airport

What a lovely place, fantastic building (albeit the room was a little tired and needs a bit of tidying), this really is a great hotel. Good breakfast, lovely surroundings, really nice town with plenty of restaurants and bars. Perfect stop over and base for Venice, rail link is 10 minutes max.

This hotel is struggling a bit. The location is great for Venice and Treviso. The room was stunning. But then it all goes a bit wrong. Initially staff could not be bothered. It was obviously a long season and they had enough. The staff changed in day 3 and they were far more attentive and friendly. On the day we were not travelling they drained the pool without notice.- and were not that bothered when we asked when they would refill it. In reality it was closed all day. The hotel advertises a restaurant - but I never saw any evidence of it. And the bar was tinned beer out a fridge- no atmosphere
In summary- could do better. Wouldn’t take much but if it doesn’t improve its general ambience it will probably go to the wall
I wish it luck as it’s anlittle gem if the management sort out a few issues

Got 3rd. Floor rooms. No side windows and no elevator to 3rd. Floor just 2nd. Nobody offer to help with luggage. Also in the fridge there’s drinks available but they should inform there’s a cost per drink. No notes. Breakfast was good, staff very helpful.

There isn't a swimming pool. There is a fountain.

It doesn't have a swimming pool. It has a small, onverted foundation with the middle feature removed and a ladder put in. Great for cooling down at the wnd of the day but don't expect to swim. My four year old could stand up in it. All of it. It clearly didn't have a filter as there was an abundance of dead insecta and leaves floating about.
If you want to go to Venice this hotel is a five minute walk to the station and there are restaurants and cafes all about. Excellent place to stay.pizza places near by to dine.small town and nice place.have a super store near by. We really appreciate Marco and stephano staff members helping us out. Both are very friendly and helpful. Would again stay here on our next visit.train station is 10 min walk. Overall great location and staff.

Good place, close to train station to visit Venice, city hall nearby, nice garden, free parking. Very nice gentleman in the restaurant helping with breakfast, tasty buffet, amazing fresh boiled eggs, yummy croissants.
Now to ranting: cleaning agent is very smelly, we tried to ventilate the room after check in, then escaped to Venice for 4 hrs, came back and it was still smelly. And you can't throw some stuff into mini-fridge and then call it \"minibar\", comon people. Shower drain is clogged up and when you shower the water goes up to your ankles.

The only issue I had during my stay is the sound of pigeons throughout the early morning well into the afternoon. I imagine this only occurs in the suite, since it's set right in the roof, but it's not the hotel's fault. And I wouldn't want them to destroy the habitat, of what sounds like, 15 or so pigeons, so just be aware. In the suite, the bed is a true king sized mattress and it's comfortable enough. If you're American, you'll find the breakfast spread to be a bit underwhelming, but it's well above par according to European standards. If you're not pleased with the breakfast selections, then I'm sure you can at least appreciate how beautifully it's all arranged. The front desk staff is very attentive despite there being one or two people you ever actually see at once. Overall, I had a great stay and I would visit again.

We had a lovely stay here. The staff were so helpful and welcoming and the service that they provided is to be commended. Stefano in particular provided lots of information and advice on our trip via email prior to our arrival which was superb. The villa is very quirky and it was fun looking at all the ornaments and old stuff, like typewriters, clocks etc. The room was very spacious with a king size bed, chaise lounge, table and chairs, fridge, wardrobe, dressing table etc. We had a laugh at the safe being located behind a painting, very old school. Large bathroom with gold fittings, 2 sinks and a whirlpool bath, room cleaned daily with a change of towels.The grounds of the hotel are well maintained and picturesque, though the pool and outside bar appeared to be closed, possibly due to the time of year. Mogliano is an ideal base for visiting Venice and has a charm all of its own, without the chaos of Venice and only 15 minutes on the train. I would highly recommend this hotel and will hopefully return in the future.

Nice location, close to the train station for quick journeys into Venice amongst other destinations. Pizzalonga is a must!
The pool is small but nice enough, I couldn’t really fault the hotel.

The hotel is lovely and right in the town centre, though feels secluded in it's own grounds. Our suite was spacious and comfortable. The hot-tub was actually a bath with jets, but the bathroom was one of the nicest we've had and the shower was great. Wi-fi was temperamental. The pool wasn't set up when we arrived and was only filled and ready when it was too late. The staff were okay but could have been warmer. Strict food rules in rooms for a hotel that doesn't provide room service. Overall, we really liked it and would come back.. The town is lovely.

Large beautiful Beaux-Arts mansion, great value

This is the 2nd time in 10 years we have stayed at Villa Stucky and we love it more each time. A 1880's mansion built by a wealthy aristocratic family that created an Italian Art Nouveau master piece that's just a 15 minute train ride from Venice. The rooms are huge compared to Venetian hotels and the price per night is just a small fraction of the Venice rates. A 2 generation family run property with wonderful service and breakfasts. The town is pleasant and peaceful with nice sidewalk restaurants and gelato shops.

Blood sucking ticks infested the suite room

Avoid at all costs! We had ticks in the bed and the bathroom that would attempt to bite us at night. We notified management, they said \"Well, those aren't bed bugs so you are ok\". When we were still concerned over the possibility of a tick borne infection, the manager then decided that he was no longer able to understand use and said \"I don't speak English\". Additionally since we rented the suite, the reservation said we would have a jetted tub, which turned out to be a shower, not a tub. Breakfast tasted stale and old. Not even an apology.

Great hotel if you don't want to be in Venice

The Hotel was hared to find if you punch in the address provided by Hotels.com.. check for Hotel Villa Stucky in points of interests/hotels on your GPS (if you are driving) and you will find it - this Hotel is great for easy 20 min access into Venice without the stress. Free parking, great service and the breakfast was fine. The funny shower in the suite with the multiple functions - great for people who have time to fiddle with the device. The room has a good feel. The pool is more like a small tub. There is a regular market on the street on Monday's til noon. About a 5 minute walk to train station.
