We booked this place last minute, driving from Florence towards Venice. We arrived at 10 pm, super easy check in and self parking was a breeze. This is an old villa on a large property. The grounds are absolutely gorgeous, it has a golf course, good size swimming pool, old huge trees, a pond and some walking trails within the property. The building is an old villa with elegant old fashioned decor. We stayed in one of the villa suites. Comfortable bed. The continental breakfast was very good and it was included in the price for us. Staff is professional and friendly. We liked our stay here and would recommend to others.

Lovely hotel not far from the airport . Really handy if you want to stay near by and chill out by the pool . Gianluca on reaction was exceptionally good and helpful . Even asked the bar to stay open late as we arrived late evening - thank you mr barman !

The building itself is incredible but the rooms are small stuffy and dated. There was no air conditioning. We advised staff we didn't want to stay after seeing our room and they offered to upgrade us but we really didn't feel comfortable staying. We sat outside and were approached by a member of staff who literally said \"what do you want\". It is definitely not a 5 star hotel by any means.

The staff were all very helpful, breakfast bountiful, the pasta and salad for dinner the best, lots of shade and grassy area with lawn chairs by the pool, a bar at the pool convenient, our main floor with patio was roomy, clean and had great air conditioning.
The hotel itself, is a little tired. It needs a good scrubbing on the awnings and paint job in the building or cleaning. That being said, the property was very green and serene and relaxing. It was convenient being attached to a golf course for those who like to golf. It is difficult to get a taxi back to the hotel. We had to walk the 4k from the train station because we didn’t organize it ahead of a time and it was very hot. If you had a car, no problem or bikes. Yes, I would recommend this old villa in its own special spot.

The hotel once had a reputation for elegance and charm, but it has clearly seen better days. While the structure and decor still reflect its former glory, the lack of maintenance is evident in worn carpets, outdated fixtures, and general disrepair. Despite its rundown state, the staff is friendly and the location is convenient, making it a decent option for a short stay if you’re not expecting luxury. With some care and investment, this hotel could easily return to its former splendor.

I really liked this hotel and would love to go back again. That said, I will say that it's not quite the five-star luxury many might have in mind. It has a shabby chic quality to it (in my book, a positive because if it was a true super luxury, you'd pay the earth); the restaurant food is lovely, but the choice is a bit limited and out of high-season, the swimming pool is closed. I'd also argue that it's not quite bang up to date hi tech modern. Still, the rooms are very comfortable, the beds lovely, the ambience is great, the grounds charming, and if you are looking for a touring base (for Verona, Trieste, Padua and Venice), the location is brilliant! I also found the service fantastic, if a tiny bit Fawlty Towers (in a nice way). Thoroughly recommend it and its history is fascinating stretching from late 18th origins to Sting and Ronald Reagen with Liz Taylor thrown in for fun.

Horrible experience- property is very dated. Beds extremely hard. Pool is the nicest thing about this property BUT it closes at 6pm so if you arrive after this time - you won’t be able to use it.
Very unfriendly front desk staff.
Nothing around.
No music in the only dining they have which also closes at 9:30pm
No instructions on usage of the fridge - we didn’t even know that everything in the mini fridge we have to pay for - there was no pricing or instructions about that.

Excellent and welcoming service. However, we were not advised that renovations were taking place just outside our room. I took pictures. And being a five star hotel, why do they charge for coffee dispensed in the room when much less standard hotels do not? Service staff were wonderful from the reception to others - positive, cheerful and helpful. The building while on beautiful grounds needs to be updated and guests at least warned if the quality of their stay will be affected.

The evening desk manager was very welcoming and was worried we hadn’t eaten because we arrived late but the restaurant was closed so himself and the restaurant manager put together a beautiful cold dish. It was very welcoming and a pleasant experience. The grounds and history of the building is absolutely breathtaking.

The hotel was pretty; but our room was at the side building; not in the main building. It’s a good place for wedding guests; but for traveller, probably it’s not concordance. We were there 2 nights, both nights they had wedding, noisy and we had to cross the wedding party to go to the pool or outside!
The staff were friendly but the food wasn’t great. I don’t recommend it for travellers.

Wonderful building with incredible history. Needs some money spent on it is very run down in places. Dinner menu very limited but of very good quality. Check if there are weddings on before you stay as if there are then service levels for residents drop off. Impossible to get food or drinks during the day of weddings and the noise is very loud and music etc goes on well after midnight. Very poor sleep quality when weddings are on. Pool area ok and sunbeds were good but although staff were very good in general, don't expect any regular service at pool. We couldn't even get a sandwich at lunchtime. Hotel is quite remote and there is next to nowhere else walkable to get food or drinks. One takeaway pizza place and one restaurant quite close. Both of them are of good quality though. This is a decent venue for a two or three day visit.

We stayed at this property for 2 nights before flying back to the UK. It is a short taxi ride to airport but in a lovely quiet area.
The building is beautiful, really stunning and the staff were extremely friendly.
The restaurant for dinner was not cheap but the food was excellent.
You would need a car/taxi to get to the local town for more cafes/restaurants. There are no tea/coffee facilities in room so all drinks need to be bought.
The pool was lovely, plenty of loungers which can be reserved by guests if it is going to be busy. They serve drinks and snacks from a little hut by the pool.
It was a charming and peaceful alternative to a big modern airport hotel and we really enjoyed it

Hotel stuffs are all nice and kind. They are always prompt when I request something. There are only one restaurant in the hotel and the foods are unbelievably good! I had local red wine that was recommended by a server, and it was super good. The hotel offers free breakfast with a lot of variety. It was not like the ones offered in the US. A complete buffet type of breakfast for FREE!
The hotel building looks pretty old which makes this hotel look noble.
The room amenity does not include hair conditioners, so you need to bring one for yourself. I stayed at this hotel in December, so the room needs to be warmed at all time to stay comfortable. The only problem was that there is no humidifier, so the room was very dry.
Because the hotel is located 15 min away from airport, city center, and near by train station, you need a taxi ride. 30 euro to the airport and 40 euro to Mestre train station. The closest train station is Mogliano Veneto which is 5 min away from the hotel and costs 10 euro, but the taxi driver asks you 15 euro anyway.
\"Holiday taxis\" is the most reliable taxi company you wanna try.

We stayed on our way between Venice and Austria. Location was perfect for us as it was easy to get to after a couple of days in Venice. The hotel is an old villa and you will feel the age. The rooms are pleasant but a bit tired. I had expected this going in so it wasn’t a surprise. The room we got was great for a family of four and had enough space and was very clean.

The grounds were really fun to play in. We had a great game of hide and go seek in the grounds. My wife and I wondered around the hotel as well and you can feel the history.

Staff were good. We didn’t have anything to test them and nothing really went wrong. Breakfast staff were attentive and perhaps a bit overworked. Breakfast was a mix of Italian and Austrian hotels.

The parking is a bit annoying as you have to loft the bags over a gravel driveway. A bit hard with a big bag.

Fabulous 3 generation vacation in the Veneto

Perfect airport hotel with sophistication

This hotel is very unique. It has beauty and sophistication with enough comfort for a family. This is the perfect night before a flight hotel but don’t plan to see Venice from this place without a vehicle. This hotel is on the mainland and it’s a drive to get anywhere. If you love Venice and it's not your first time there, this is a great hotel to stay in, especially if you are a golfer. The building is fabulous and historic. The décor is period but not stale. The hotel was absolutely beautiful- it was tranquil and relaxing, the perfect place to stay compared to the crowded tourist bustle of Venice. Traveling to Venice was very easy from the hotel, simply taking a taxi to the train station and around a 30 minute train into Venice. The hotel staff were excellent and very helpful and friendly. The pool was also very nice. Cannot wait to return.

Nice historic property with great pool area and outside breakfast area.

The Junior Suite is very spacious and the two additional beds for the kids could easily be placed in the living room area. Unfortunately the quality of the beds was far away from anything acceptable.

If you travel for business or as a couple the Hotel will be perfect for you but if you travel as a family just look for an alternative - your kids will be grateful.

You don't make it 5 stars by providing a robe

I have read other reviews, and I was quite prepared to accept faded grandeur, but this place felt unfriendly and haughty, for which its elements of charm could not compensate. Yes, it had charm, but the building and decor can only take you so far. What then matters is the staff and the detail. In our stay, neither were up to scratch, and certainly not 5stars. We received a mediocre welcome. We had adjoining rooms. In both bathrooms (dated) 3 of the 4 bulbs above the mirror were not working. In one bathroom, the shower attachment on the bath was not connected to a hose, and in the other, the plug lever disappeared down the back of the sink when we tried to use it. We were woken during the night by a sudden flashing light from the air conditioning control which bathed the whole room in greenish light - the receptionist shrugged when I mentioned it to her in the morning. The menu in the restaurant was unsuitable for our family, so we went to a local pizzeria. That was fine, but when I was asking the hotel manager a question, it was clear that his focus was on the guests in the hotel who were coming to dinner in the restaurant, and he interrupted his answer to me specifically to speak to them. Breakfast was adequate, but not stunning. One waiter was dealing with the room, with the effect that he was reactive to requests, rather than anticipating needs, eg no bowls, failure to top up orange juice or offer another coffee. The waiter was pleasant enough though.

My wife and I spent a weekend at the hotel while seeing Venice. The hotel is in Mogliano Veneto which is approximately 40 mins away from Venice. We were travelling through Italy during summer (extremely busy holiday period) so accommodation prices in Venice were astronomical. Hotel Condulmer had a special on which matched basic 3 Star Hotels in Venice.

Getting to and from Venice by train was cheap and easy. The hotel has a local taxi driver who will pick up/drop off from the Mogliano Veneto train station to the hotel for a simple flat rate. He was very polite and helpful. The driver can be organised through the hotel.

The hotel is an old mansion and estate turned hotel. It is beautiful inside and out. It does need repair in places where it is weather worn and dilapidated. It is easy to identify when it was renovated into a hotel the priority was the rooms. The room was clean, comfortable and beautiful.

Over our stay we did enjoy ourselves. The only concern was the hotel proudly displays a 5 Star rating but unfortunately did not provide this as an overall standard. This is not criticism towards the staff. The staff (concierges, porters, bartender, waiters, cleaning) were polite, helpful and professional except one concierge but I won't tar all with the same brush. Overall the staff are wonderful people. Our issue was management. Procedures and coordination were not in place to keep us informed of our stay or experience the hotel facilities properly.

An elegant and peaceful haven

We stayed just one night in August on my birthday - 2 adults and 2 children aged 10 and 11. The hotel was wonderfully peaceful and relaxing. The food is exquisite, the room was very well-appointed and comfortable and the general atmosphere of the hotel is one of luxury and Italian elegance. The children enjoyed the pool and the poolside service is excellent. Behind the pool area there is an enchanting and romantic shaded woodland walk, around a lake. In general the grounds of the hotel are very well-kept and attractive and the building itself has an interesting history. We found the hotel to be very good value for money, too.

The location is 10 minutes drive to mogliano veneto station. The access to Venice is nice when take trains. The garden are well-treated and beautiful surrounded by many greens. The low grade room I stayed has no bath tub, but overall it was comfortable. Staff are friendly.

Nice modern bathroom but no shower, not sure if other rooms have showers. Nice sized rooms compared to other Italian hotels of this era construction. Only issue is hotel has gravel roads to entrance, and they block off the ability to drop guests or luggage off. Not sure why the gravel is so protected; instead my luggage ended up dirty and wheels were damaged.

We booked the Villa for a relaxing one night stay in a traditional Italian Villa, which it definitely was. However, the hotel was virtually empty the night we were there (maybe 5 other guests although we only saw them at breakfast), and the large open spaces really need some life. There was not much staff around, either, so it felt odd to us-like staying overnight in a museum. Wireless wasn't working, but they let us use the hotel's computer to do what we needed to do. Staff was pleasant, we got a an absolutely lovely room, and the Villa is in a lovelyrural and absolutely quiet the location, but still just 15 mins to the airport. Interior seemed recently renovated, but the grounds were a bit shabby -lawns were overgrown, hedges untrimmed, the umbrellas and back facade were dirty. Likely the summer maintenance schedule had not yet kicked in. If you stay there, you will definitely need a car or cab to get around and there is nothing touristy in the neighborhood or anything to do other than a golf course on the adjoining grounds. If, however, you just want to enjoy the setting and the experience of staying in a traditional Italian Villa, this is a great place for that. I also think this would be a lovely place to have an event of some kind, like a wedding. It is very stately and can accommodate a fair number of guests (the presence of which, again, I think would have transformed our experience).

Heaven on Earth

We couldn't believe our eyes when we arrived at this magnificent villa. we spent hours just walking, sitting,relaxing and admiring the beauty of every area of the property. Couldn't wait to get back after the day in Venice and it was a shame we only had 2 nights. Staff were amazing and the price was unbelievable. We thought we must have made a mistake but we hadn't . six weeks in Europe and the best accommodation by far.

A great alternative to the \"tourist environment\"of Venice.

From the minute you enter the groomed gravel driveway leading to the Villa Condulmer you know you are in for a unique experience - the antiques and paintings in the entrance foyer, the courtliness of the staff, the quiet rooms (with air conditioning), the extensive grounds and the pleasant swimming pool. Only a few of the 39 rooms were occupied when I was there, but that did not influence the full and discrete service provided by the restaurant for enjoyable, al fresco breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Die Villa ist wunderschön und ist gut eingerichtet. Das Frühstück ist gut. Es gibt nette Kellner, die einen unterstützen.

Das einzige, was uns nicht gefallen hat, war die Dämmung zwischen den Stockwerken und der Tür. Wer ein sensibles Schlaf hat, sollte eine Suite im obersten Stockwerk nehmen.

Minha experiência neste hotel foi simplesmente impecável. Desde o momento do check-in até o último minuto da estadia, tudo superou minhas expectativas. O atendimento da equipe foi atencioso, cordial e extremamente profissional, sempre prontos para ajudar com um sorriso no rosto.

As acomodações estavam impecáveis: quarto espaçoso, cama superconfortável e uma limpeza irrepreensível. Cada detalhe parecia ter sido cuidadosamente pensado para oferecer o máximo de conforto e bem-estar.

O café da manhã foi outro destaque – variedade, qualidade e apresentação impecável. Produtos frescos, opções saudáveis e um ambiente acolhedor para começar bem o dia.

As áreas comuns do hotel, como piscina e restaurante, estavam sempre organizadas, limpas e funcionais. É visível o cuidado com a manutenção e o desejo de proporcionar uma experiência única aos hóspedes.

Sem dúvida, foi uma estadia memorável. Recomendo de olhos fechados e, com certeza, voltarei!

Meget flot og historisk hotel, flotte omgivelser, god service og du kan gå direkte til golfbanen på få minutter.
Et perfekt sted at slappe af efter nogle hektiske dage i Venedig som kun er 20 min derfra i bil.

Schlosshotel nahe Venedig

Schönes romantisches Schloss nahe Venedig. Großes Familienzimmer im Nebentrakt. Das Hotel ist schon ein wenig in die Jahre gekommen aber hat noch immer den Charme vergangener Jahrhunderte. Ein großes Plus ist auch der kostenlose E-Autolader.
Einziges Manko ist das Frühstück, was leider in Italien nie vergleichbar ist mit Mitteleuropa.

Charm vergangener Zeiten,aber nicht sein Geld wert

Das Hotel wurde aus einer sehr alten Villa umgebaut. Daher ist alles im Hotel alt. Im Allgemeinen kann man sagen, dass es gepflegt ist, aber wirklich sauber war es nicht. Es war so alt, dass ich sogar sagen kann, dass wir im Zimmer gefroren haben. Das Frühstück war nicht schlecht. Würde ich noch einmal so viel Geld für dasselbe Hotel ausgeben? Nein. Es war nicht furchtbar, aber es war das Geld nicht wert.
