Set in the countryside about 30 minutes from Venice by public transport, the Country House Country Club is a comfortable renovated farmhouse. I was very well looked after during my stay and really appreciated the relaxed but efficient support by the staff. I would certainly consider returning if I were to visit Venice again.

Very pretty. Out in the middle of the country, the owner was a bit controlling could be a little standoffish. The husband was fantastic and extremely funny. The kitchen where the food is prepared needs a lot of help! A young girl they have working for them is phenomenal probably would not stay there again, I think was enough

Fantastic swimming pool area. The restaurant was really overpriced (there are no other restaurants nearby) and we had poor table service. Ask to see the menu before you agree to get some antipasti and simple pasta dishes and end up with an eye sore bill.

Could not stay here due to many bugs being in the room. Additionally, it seems due to some city regulation they could not have Air Conditioning running in Oct. which meant my wife and I felt very uncomfortable (it was very warm weather). This was not an issue for other hotels in the area
They also declined refunding us, this was a horrible experience and suggslest people book elsewhere.

Excellent stay with Rosa and her husband! Loved the pool bar and having a nice relaxing pool time with some cold beer after a hot day of touring in Murano. We took advantage of dinner on the property. Dinner was a fantastic homemade affair. Excellent breakfast offerings with croissants and breads. Comfortable room accommodations

And I would suggest to take the private boat to Murano or Venice! We wish we took advantage of this additional service

staff asked me to pay more money for the room I booked, while she show me smaller room. I waked her up when I checked out at 7 am, and she refused the shuttle service for the airport. So U paid 40 Euro for the taxi. This is terrible!!!

Rosa and her husband were lovely hosts. They both work incredibly hard for their guests. Our sense was that they were slightly understaffed (likely due to covid) and worked extra hard to compensate. The room was lovely and very clean and the air conditioner worked very well. The meals provided were delicious and dinner was very reasonably priced. The grounds are not as well kept as I suspect they are when fully staffed. Internet access was not available as there appeared to be an issue with the router. But Rosa was very generous and helpful in accessing everything I needed on her main computer. The shuttle service was excellent and half the cost of a cab ride. I would definitely visit this property again if flying in or out of Venice airport.

Beautiful location, hotel is stunning for an older property & the staff were friendly. Room was spacious & the beds were very comfortable. Very clean & was quiet even though it’s near a main road & airport. Shame pool wasn’t available but it was probably down to it not being peak season yet. Overall I’d happily stay there again with my family & friends.

We were only overnighting near the airport before starting a cruise. Previously been and stayed in Venice and a quick reminder of arriving there on a hot day and facing the huge crowds mainly dragging suitcases through the streets to remind ourselves of the benefits of staying outside and close. Country House is near airport a few minutes drive and about 30 minutes from Venice. Rosa who runs Country House is an amazing multilingual who is a delight to meet. The B&B is a rustic interesting building in the countryside and a pleasant escape from the city. There is some plane noise but not overnight. Breakfast was adequate but would probably get boring if staying a while. Bus to Venice is only E 3.50 each way from the end of the road and if returning this would be my chosen place to stay and travel in each day to sightsee.

So convenient for our departure from the airport, and extra quiet so we slept well before our trip home.
On our arrival we took a local bus from the train station/airport to the stop nearest the hotel and our hosts picked us up from there.
One caveat: The bus leaves you on the side of the road and that was a bit nerve wracking, but we phoned the hotel from there and they picked us up immediately.

Great Location to the Airport

We booked this hotel because of its proximity to Marco Polo Airport and it seems the other guests did also.
The property is family run by a husband and wife. She let us know she was 66, but very strong. She offered to help us with our bags up the stairs when we found out, to our disappointment, that there was no lift as the hotel.com information stated.
You must be able to drive to the airport area or Mestre if you want anything to do or go out to dinner. Otherwise you can eat at the property. Our dinner bill came to a hefty 89 euros, partly due to the fact that we wanted to share our dinner entree, but were brought two separate dinners instead.
The room was basic and actually a little drab. The light was pretty dim.
If you are looking for a quiet hotel, close to the airport, this one is good.

This place is in country side so there is nowhere to go or to do. We stayed there because it is close to airport and we had an early morning flight. They had their own shuttle that took us to airport at 5 am for 20 euros.
The house itself is beautiful surrounded by garden and swimming pool (was closed for the season). We were given a two bedroom suite which was modern and clean and very comfortable. Bathroom was spacious and immaculate. The owner cooked our dinner herself. One of the best food we had in the entire trip. Home cooked meal with simple but fresh ingredients, nothing can beat that.
I would strongly recommend.

Friendly place with good wifi, near the airport

We stayed one night before flying home after a week in the Venice area. The hotel was selected for its location (5 mins from airport), swimming pool, free wifi and free breakfast. Although the hotel is rather old, it's quaint and charming. The staff are very friendly, if a bit eccentric, and the food was fine. The setting is very nice, with a big swimming pool outside and plenty of sunbeds to relax on. Very nice gardens, with limes, lemons, figs and pomegranates growing there, as well as lots of flowers and shrubs. Being close to the airport there was naturally a fair bit of air traffic noise, but that was only to be expected. Room was very spacious and well-equipped, with a comfy bed, good a/c and good wifi connection. All very clean. It's a shame that the menu wasn't more flexible. We were strongly encouraged to have lasagne (which was very nice) and not really given any other options, but when we asked for dessert we were told there wasn't any! The weather was good enough for us to eat outside on the terrace, which was very pleasant. Would stay there again if I needed a one nighter near Marco Polo airport.

We are a family of three who wanted a nice but affordable hotel near Venice. This hotel was extremely friendly, comfortable and a nice place to stay. Rooms were cleaned every day. Very comfortable beds. We had a hire car so drove to Venice, parked outside and spent all day/evening in Venice. Would recommend. (There is very little sporadic aeroplane noise but not late at night).

If you prefer, hospitable, kind, helpful, informative, loving people persons, a home away from home, then look no further. Money cannot pay for services render from the heart. Rosa is quite a Rare Gem. Even though other staff spoke little English they tried their very best to help. Thank you all very much. Location is secluded just right for the soul in search of peace. Shuttle, information getting around Venice & other islands is provided. Rosa help me planned both my days. Louisa gave me change for the bus. Thanks.
Breakfast was good. Dinner was ok. My room was clean, spacious It had a refrigerator & well kept. I felt very safe. 2 lovely dogs are around they don't bother me even though I don't have pets. Small, family friendly, quiet location near airpor

We stayed here since it was close to the airport. We were pleasantly surprised. This is a small family run hotel. Quaint and quiet. It's pretty far from most things but very convenient to the airport. We don't speak Italian but managed since Rosa speaks English. When Rosa was busy we managed just fine because everyone else was friendly. We had a wonderful meal at their restaurant. We would definitely choose to stay here again

I booked the hotel for one day but the hotel didn't receive the confirmation from Expedia although confirmation email was sent to me from Expedia. The hotel did try to offer me to another hotel and honored my reservation, at the end. However, this hotel is located in a remote and isolated area of the countryside that is not recommended to people who has no access to transportation.

Perfect Recovery Spot

My mom and I spend a week in Germany before doing a one week medeterranean cruise from Venice. After returning from the cruise, we stayed at the Country House Country Club for one night before heading to Istanbul for the final two days of our vacation. We found this to be a great place to rest and recover from a hectic two weeks of being on the run.

The staff were friendly and beyond helpful with everything. We accidently left a bag at the Country Club and didn't realize it until we got to the airport. Rosa, the owner, was able to get the bag to us quickly because they are located 10-15 minutes from the airport.

The Country Club is located 10 minutes away from the water bus station and that was accessible using their shuttle. Shuttle service fee is reasonable at 5 Euro per person each way. From the water bus station, you can get to all of the main sites such as St. Mark's Piazza.

We were very surprised when we arrived at the hotel. It was like being in the country. The grounds are beautiful with many fruit trees and a very large swimming pool. The manager and staff were wonderful. We were fed home cooked meals that were delicious. They have a boat that took us to three of the islands in Venice and they have transportation to and from the airport. I highly recommend the hotel and look forward to returning.

The hotel staff was extremely friendly, offering to help accommodate parking needs while taking short trips away, as well as tips for traveling in Venice and surrounding areas. Rooms were dated but clean. The adjoining room for my kids offered a TV, but no chords to connect it to a wall. The dinner was lovely--a terrific assortment of seafood in pasta, the evening's special was fantastic. Overall the rooms suited our needs as a great relaxing place to stay prior to flying to another destination early the next day.

We were hiking in northern Italy and spent the last two days in Venice. Though not real close to \"old\" Venice (20 minutes), it was a great secluded hotel. The staff was SO friendly and always made sure we were taken care of with either food, or transportation, or anything required for our stay.

The hotel is easy to reach from the airport (less than 10 minutes by car). The facility is clean, with a beautiful garden. Enjoy it, even if you have 30 minutes to relax. The breakfast is like everywhere in Italy, not reach, but sufficient. The caffe is very good. The best way to make a stop if you are tired after your flight, or if you missed your connection.

A hidden Gem

Rosa (owner) was most welcoming and went the extra mile to make our 3(1 & 2) nights stay most enjoyable.
We were welcomed on both early morning occasions provided with coffee whilst our room was being made ready.
On our last day a Sunday, Rosa invited my wife and me to join her family and friends on a boat trip from the hotel to Sant'Erasamo & Burano.

Near the airport.

Owner very friendly, tried to please us all the time, the hotel is in the middle of nowhere so without a car you are trapped or need taxi. Was out of season so would be better in the sumer, owner organised a very nice boat ride for us, which made the stay.
Food only alright and not to English palate.
Hotel is on flight path to airport so can be noisy. Also the night we stayed they had a party in the dining room which was below our bedroom. Fortunately the noise and music ceased at about 1am. (Including the planes) Only stayed one night and was a stop over awaiting plane back to UK after a cruise. It served our needs at a reasonable price, but trapped and having lunch and dinner there increased the cost considerably. Would have got better value staying at a more expensive hotel but within reach of alternative eating establishments.

The hotel is just of the Marco Polo airport runway so from 6 am to 11pm every couple min a plane goes over. But kick on the ac and close the windows and it's fine. Very close to airport, clean and nice staff.

We could not fully rate this hotel because we did not get an opportunity to stay at it.

After an 8 hour drive the day of our stay, I called the hotel (as per the email discussion I had with the owner) for shuttle pick-up. The owner advised me that she had given our room away because a test run of my credit card had failed, and they didn't know how to reach us (despite her having been emailing me).

I will give this location some credit in that they still sent the shuttle (although we had to still pay the 10 Euro for it) and found us a replacement room, which was lucky, as all hotels near the airport were fully booked. However, our location went from 5 minutes to the airport with Country House to 40 minutes to the airport at our new location. We were left to figure out a city bus route to get us to the airport the next day. Being so far from Venice, there was very few who could help us in English, and we had to taxi to a restaurant for dinner, despite booking a hotel with a restaurant as we knew we would be arriving for a late dinner.

We are grateful for the assistance in finding a replacement hotel but find it hard to believe that they had no way to reach us when we had been in email contact several times. They knew what time we were planning to arrive, and gave away our room before that time. Don't believe that having a reservation and confirmation code for this location will mean anything - they will take the dollars in front of them first.

Convenient location, nice management

Overall, we were satisfied for the price. The manager was kind and the property was clean. The complimentary breakfast was good. Our room was located above the courtyard area and it was loud from the other guests eating/drinking until past 11pm. The pool is very nice-but beware to use it there's an extra charge to use it plus an extra charge for a towel.

Not at all as advertised.

Upon arrival, owner tries to sell you boat trip and transport - very pushy, despite our protests of having made arrangements. Food frozen heated in microwave inedible. We wanted to wait by pool for a friend arriving at the airport and were told that pool is not part of hotel and was closed to hotel guests. Not at all as advertised very bad.

Good hotel close to the Venice Airport

The staff was very accommodating, especially Rosa, the owner. She speaks good English.
It is out in the country, sort of the middle of nowhere but very close to the Venice airport. There
is a nice pool. There is also a bike path across the highway, good for a jog.

We loved our stay at country house country club! Rosa was an amazing help and was able to guide us about getting to and from venice every day! She is unbelievable and is willing to do just about anything to make your stay as best as possible! The food at the hotel and the staff, including Luisa, is excellent as well and the pool is nothing like we have ever seen before. We would definitely stay here again!

Good value but a long way out

The hotel is a little difficult to find by bus or taxi as it is a long way from downtown Venice(not too far from the airport though) and it is located at the end of a 200 metre unlit lane off the main road.
The hotel is good value for Venice but you will need to allow extra time and cost to get to the island of Venice
The owner and staff are very helpful and full of information about transport and Venice itself.
The hotel itself is pleasant with comfortable rooms in good condition and a nice indoor outdoor restaurant.

Close to Marco Polo Airport

Very convienent for anyone leaving Venice by Marco Polo airport. A 5 minute drive. The hotel charges just 5 euro to drive you right to the departure area. The rooms are bright, well furnished and have excellent bathrooms. The meals were excellent. The pool area is huge. A mixture of airport travellers and Italians on holiday.

Great stay, Great people

We had a great stay, very close to Venice. Owner had great suggestions on shopping and best way to drive and park for trip to Venice. The owners speak great English and we could have talked with them for hours. The cook was great and ensured we where happy with our meal. The dinner was great and so was the breakfast. She was a pleasure to talk with, she even made it a point to go out to the parking lot to tell my wife goodbye. We will definitely be coming back.
