Don’t reserve!! I took some photos.

it was closed, « temporarily ». i asked Hotels.com to return my $178.82, which they agreed to do, after confirming that the place was closed. I am not blaming Hotels.com-they obviously didn’t know.
i saw online that they are still « renting » rooms for this weekend at $383. Air conditioner falling out, mats ripped, curtains hanging, closed up.

The pictures on Expedia are highly misleading. This was the most run-down hotel I have ever set foot in. The furniture was sagging and ripped. There were bits of duct tape all over the unit to patch up holes. The bathtub had a huge patch of duct tape, which seems to violate basic housing code. There was chewed gum stuck to the bed frame. There was sand in the pull-out couch. There was hair in the bed. The unit seemed like it had not been cleaned before my arrival. The owners of this establishment do not care about quality whatsoever. This place was so decrepit that I could not stay here and requested a refund, which I am still waiting for.

It was filthy. There were no towels in the bathroom, the bedroom television was mounted with no remote. Tge live no room television remote only worked for changing the channel. Grease on the kitchen wall.. No extra linens as stated. Disgusting. Sanitized and went & purchased my own bedding. Horrible experience. Would not even shower there No garbage. Missing lightbulbs. Screen missing from front window. I couldn’t open one of the 2 windows. You should remove this “hotel, efficiency off the hotels you offer. A lot of $$ for one night. Even more because I had to go buy my own towels, linens, wash clothes and sanitizing supplies

We got there know one there there was a disclosure to call the number on the booking for the inn. Called it 18 times from 2pm to4:30pm check in was at 4. When I called it said voicemail box full. So we found a different hotel. I would like to know how to get a refund. I will not be recommending this hoyel

Reservation Problem Resolved

There was a \"glitch\" in the reservation process. When I arrived at the property I was told it was full. However, I made another Hotels.com reservation for the night. After my trip, working with Sony at Hotels.com and the property, my full redund was processed. Thank you Inns at Lewes and Hotels.com

It needs renovations. It was filthy the lampshades were covered in dust, no one comes to see if you need linens. The closet door was broken. Both Televisions did not work. There was a couch at the dumpster for 2 weeks outside my door.

I will say the bathroom was clean & the towels were nice.

If you desperately need a place to stay!!

Stayed there a night and I regretted it I rather sleep under the bridge. The room was somewhat clean but the couch had stains and once we pulled out the couch bed the mattress was terrible. It had piss stains and everything else you can imagine. One of the worst places I stayed. Couldn’t pay me to stay there again

DO NOT SYAY HERE!!!

This room is deplorable. When you first walk in the smell is horrid. There are stains on the sofa bed which has no sheets. There was a whole in the closet that is trying to be disguised with tape. The toilet is dirty. There are not enough linen for the amount of ppl that are allowed to stay here. The tv doesn't work. There are stains on the curtains. There is a broken door under the bed. Dishes in the sink. I cannot believe the level of unsanitary violations this place is guilty of. There wasn't even any toilet paper! It is absurd! We were honestly scared to sleep there. Thankfully we found a hotel last minute! This has never in my life happened before. Too bad I can only add 8 pictures because I have more! Disgusting!

Don't do it, some of e reviews give it no justice.

Very dirty. Bugs crawling everywhere. Look like bed bugs, but im not an exterminator... which they clearly need. No additional toilet paper. Some lights/lamps didnt work. Room was in a state of disrepair at best. Smelled terrible in the room. Check in process isnt a thing. Called several times day before and day of with no response with voicemails left. Luckily was able to rouse an office person once i arrived. I could go on, but I've already spent too much time and money on a place I'll never return or recommend.

Budget motel

We had almost no issues. This is exactly the title “a budget motel” it’s pretty rundown but they have been making minor improvements. The beds are horrifically uncomfortable though and some towels were stained. The outlets were blown out in the bedroom and chargers would fall out pretty frequently. Staff was very friendly and outgoing. It’s in a very convenient location with a lot within walking distance including a brewery!!! The room was clean with new floors and a new couch. The full size fridge was a great bonus!

The Inn was cozy, quaint and clean. two rooms for added privacy.

This was the most DISGUSTING property I have ever laid eyes, and stepped foot into. I wasn’t expecting the most pristine property with it being an Inn, and the price was cheaper than others. The second we opened the door it’s like we were smacked in the face with a stale moldy smell. We booked a 3 nights stay, and did not stay any longer than 20 mins. FILTH stains covering the mattress, wads of hair in the sheets, crumbs throughout mattress and sheets. Floors were unswept & unmopped, something had been splattered all over the door and just left there. There was a nasty pot holder hanging above the stove with crusted on food and it and was about as stiff as a board. Paw patrol stickers stuck to cabinet peeling off, crumbs/dirt/sand covering the floors - proving it has been uncleaned. Upon complaint to the office a younger girl was present who stated she doesn’t work for the property she just lives in the house. She informed us that younger kids (college age) are in charge of cleaning rooms and operating check in, etc. She had to contact the owner, Yash, who initially had stated that we would be refunded first thing the next morning. Morning rolls around and he refuses refund and starts ignoring any type of contact from us. We booked through Expedia so we had to reach out to them to get a refund - which is still in progress because he will not get in contact with Expedia. Just beware if you’re interested in this property and DON’T BOOK!

My friend and I recently stayed at the Inn at Lewis, an Economical motel on the main strip and centrally located to Rehobeth and Lewes. I booked our stay via Expedia. The rates were comparable to similar hotels in the area. The Inn at Lewes is a row of eight bungalow type rooms, perpendicular to route one. I assume each room is identical, offering one bedroom, one bathroom, a small kitchenette, a pullout sofa/sitting area and TV. It is clean, a bit dated, but the room got more comfortable with each day we stayed. The main attraction for this motel is definitely their location, as well as the staff, who were very pleasant and eager to please! We enjoyed our stay at the inn.

For starters it's very dated which I was made aware of by the desk when I checked in so knowing that I tried to look past it however it was very hard to do. The bed ding had numerous yellow and brown stains on it the closet door was broken and literally hanging off the hinge there was a drawer front missing from under the kitchen sink which was very unsightly, there is a huge draft coming in from the air conditioner in the bedroom and the heat in the bedroom did not work, also the television in the bedroom was smaller than my laptop or only about 13 in and the one in the living room was only about 19 so along with the wood paneling on the walls that made it very difficult to enjoy television. There was no door separating the bedroom from the living room which was also a little disappointing. The desk staff was incredibly friendly and helpful or at least try to be as helpful as possible and accommodating I can say that but the accommodations themselves are definitely lacking and in desperate need of remodel and upgrades.

Old yet comfortable unit

The only reason I did not give it a higher rating is because someone in the unit next door was vaping and the disgusting scent was coming through the vents in the bathroom. This is a SMOKE-FREE place. It is an old motel venue with side-by-side apartments, but it's comfortable and pet friendly. Janet, the manager, is fabulous! She communicates clearly and is so friendly.

Another drawback was the recent snow and ice. The owners never had someone shovel the parking lot. I keep hearing that they have staff but they do not work weekends. If you work in the hospitality industry, exoect to work weekends!

I am an extended stay guest and have been here for a couple months.

We were just staying for one night there on our way to the outer banks . On the way back to PA we we were going to stay over night again. When we arrived it was raining the side walk to the place was flooded with water. We had to walk in water ankle deep to get into the door. And we were given the same room as coming down. The smell in that room was terrible. A couple in the next room was walking out said they couldn’t stay in their room. They called to complain and they told them to go down to the Heritage Hotel which you own also. So we called and they said we were to come down to the hotel also. Also my brother and his wife were to get a room there with us .. they couldn’t stay either. My husband is also handicapped. The experience was extremely terrible. When we got to the Heritage it was ten times better. You need to close the Inn at Lewes it isn’t fit for anyone to stay there!!!

This was not an expensive rental so I didn't expect much. The bathroom was very clean and towels were really nice. The couch in the living room was dirty and very uncomfortable and the carpet was old and worn out. The kitchen area was not bad with a full size coffee maker, refrigerator, microwave and nice dishes.

The hotel was not as advertised, the image of the exterior of the hotel was a deception. The interior were old tired, worn and soiled carpet, smelled old. Upon arrival we had to go to a partner hotel to check in which took far too long
