Check in was difficult with not enough staff to clean the rooms. The shuttle to the beach was \"not working\" and we really relied on this to transport to the beach. The mattress for the sofa bed was covered in stains and the entire unit needs an update. It is hard to get into the soaker tub and it looks like mold/stains are growing throughout the bathroom.
Staff at the front desk were friendly and when we needed maintenance in a previous trip, they were also very helpful. Breakfast is underwhelming but the coffee is good and hot.

This was one of the most poorly maintained hotels I have ever been to. There was no lake view property because there’s no lake Then the pool is not swimmable. And the rooms were not clean. A lot of false advertising on the website

Pros: location- very short walk to beach, bars, and restaurants. Have a trolley if you don’t want to walk, but seriously like a block away. Room was clean. Staff were very friendly.
Cons: bed is like sleeping on a rock. Charge 10 additional dollars a day for housekeeping even though they don’t provide it. Not sure why they wouldn’t just include that in the cost. They shouldn’t advertise as having breakfast, barely a continental breakfast.
Overall: I know it sounds like I wouldn’t stay here again, but I would because of the location and cleanliness. I would just have lower expectations.

While having breakfast, our son opened a bag containing a bagel and toasted it. After he began eating it, we noticed that the bagel was covered with mold. This was extremely concerning and suggests that the breakfast items are not being properly inspected and that expiration dates may not be carefully monitored by the staff.

We immediately brought the issue to the attention of the breakfast attendant and showed her the moldy bagel. However, her only response was a simple \"Sorry,\" with no further action, concern, or attempt to address the issue

There is not housekeeping available unless it is requested. That works for us because we are very near people but I thought that placed a lot on the housekeeping staff on rooms that were taken by up to four people and not cleaning up. It causes the staff a lot of work and tougher to get the rooms back on the availability list.

The only issue for us is no one replacing your soap, coffee pods etc., you can go to the Fr desk and they are gracious. They need to add more than one bar of soap and other items upfront. Base it on number in room. At check-in you can add.

It was a very convenient hotel to all restaurants etc.. thanks

Very clean hotel, good location to walking distance to beach, parking was very convenient. The only 2 things I don’t give a 5 is because breakfast choices were very limited and they were all prepackaged.. I feel it should be posted more like a grab and go breakfast and the other thing would be they don’t recycle and being all is prepackaged there’s a lot of waste could be recycled like the cans of juice, cereal containers etc

I have stayed at the breakers for several years about twice a year. It's convenient to the beach for those early birds who like to watch the sunrise. It's close to the electric charger which I need for my car. It's not far from the main street and restaurants. At the same time, across the street is lake with geese and rabbits. I enjoy watching them. It was pointed out during this trip that there are so many cameras on the property that I felt even more comfortable there. Also, it's never loud. My only disappointment is the breakfast. Please bring back your pre-Covid breakfast!

The property was as good as it could be for being an older building and was well l-maintained. The outdoor seating area, just before entering the lobby was inviting and was a nice, welcoming, touch! Staff were fine. Rooms were clean and the balconies were nice. The breakfast was a basic continental breakfast (as advertised), but if you like bagels, packaged muffins and packaged eggs, cereal and yogurt you'll be good. The one negative is the coffee was not good (not strong enough) and there was no flavored creamer, so we had to try to doctor up the coffee with sugar and little creamers (didn't work). We booked this hotel for the pool, closemess to the beach and breakfast. Overall, it was a good stay and I recommend this hotel.

Staying on the top floor was awesome with the balcony view walking distance to a whole bunch of places to eat in the boardwalk staff was great and helpful unfriendly. The pool was a nice size in plenty warm while outside was cold on earth next visit.

We were there a few years ago and loved the breakfast. Was disappointed to see it was a continental. The only other issue was bathroom was small. Everything else was excellent. The location and parking are a big plus. We had a beautiful view of the lake from our balcony. The room was quiet.

This hotel was definitely a little worn! Overall, it seemed clean enough but the walls and ceilings were definitely showing signs of age. Staff was very friendly! Cannot comment on breakfast because it was only served from 8-10am (which is wild to me). Beds were actually comfortable.

There should be a grab bar in the tub as it is very dangerous getting in and out. Also, the room is missing a pen, small writing pad, enough coffee pods and cups. There should also be decaf pods as well. The bed was a bit uncomfortable but passable. I did not use the maid service so can not speak to that. The room needed a face lift.

We stayed in Room 220. Was not my favorite room. I didn’t think to question it since we have stayed many times before with no issues. I booked a King Lake View Room. The room was clean and spacious but very dark and was not Lakeview. It was parking lot view. That was the only downside. Other than the view great location and nice staff and property. Will be staying again in October for SeaWitch fest.

There was only on bar of soap and it was a used piece on the bathroom sink. We used it reluctantly and wondered if that was a good decision.

Artemis 2 landed the day we were there and we needed a rocket scientist to operate the television. I think there were fewer buttons on the spacecraft than on the tv remote. We are not techies and the remote was impossible for us to use!

Check in was good. General manager told us breakfast would be on the 4th floor between 8-10am. Went up to get it on Wednesday morning, doors locked. Went downstairs and the general manager said here’s a few muffins. No juice or any other choices. I said you told me there was breakfast on the 4th floor, which is advertised on their website and on hotels.com She said not today, just Tuesday and Thursday. Went up this morning, hoping for a hot breakfast and fruit which is pictured on their website. There were small bagels, muffins and cereal. Nothing hot. No fruit.
It is in walkable distance to the shops and beach, so the location is good. The staff was friendly and the place was clean.

Breakfast is a total scam no where does say you get dry prepackaged muffins that are sitting on front desk in box that is not a continental breakfast. My daughter and I only stayed one night for my Birthday. The staff was wonderful and the hotel is beautiful. My daughter enjoyed the pool. My only problem came that night when I checked my account and The Breakers held a little over 2,700. Deposit on my card even though I had paid for our stay. That hold fell off 24 hours after we checked out. But I got a message from my card company that I was over limit while the hold was there!! I will be back because I loved the hotel but that hold was uncalled for. It was my 75 birthday and my daughter is 48. We were not going to tear the place up!!!!!!

The staff were professional, attentive and helpful. The room was fine except my room was on the 2nd floor over the car parking area. The floors were very cold, especially the tile in the bathroom. The blower for the heat was very noisy.
There was a Festival at the Convention Center so there was a large number of guests. The breakfast items and coffee ran out after 30 minutes with no restocking. Even the coffee available in the lobby ran out with no refills.

We asked for extra towels and never got them. Breakfast was all packaged food. Our last day, the shower didn’t have hot water. I called the front desk (from my cell because the room phone didn’t work) and the front desk clerk sighed and told me to let it run a while. My husband had just taken a cool shower so it had been running. We only had a little time before checkout. She said she would send maintenance up and I said we didn’t have much time left and she said, very rudely, “Well I don’t know what you want me to do then!” Honestly, she could have offered another room for my shower, she could have offered to extend our checkout until after maintenance came, she even could have just said “oh I’m so sorry to hear that” but she chose not to do any of those things. We would not return there.
