The features of this hotel are beautiful.
It’s kept the original lift - although it was broken when we left. Its structure and staircase were kept and I loved the fact it hasn’t been ruined.
However having said that it is in desperate need of a slight facelift.
Our bathroom floor was stained pink and rusty. Nothing a good toothbrush and vinegar couldn’t fix. The skirting and the general fixtures needed a little tlc and the fact it only had 1 plug socket in the entire room was … hard!
Overall the appearance was lovely and with it being somewhat centrally located the perks overlook its faults.

Such a unique and lovely hotel, especially the rotunda rooms. Cute cafe for food, coffee etc and good to get some work done. Located in the best part of town and complete with a beautifully unique and original elevator from 1920! What makes this place exceptional is their staff! I was stuck in France after my passport was stolen and they did everything humanly possible to assist and make my stay perfect...they made phone calls for me, printed necessary documents and even did my laundry. I will stay here every time I come to Cannes. Thank you to all the staff but especially Jouhans and Oliver.

For us, ideally situated: walkable to train station, the port area, beach, old town and markets.
Extremely helpful and friendly staff.
Kindly upgraded - room spacious and very comfortable.
Breakfast sensibly priced with home made items included along with fresh fruit and variety of breads and pastries.
An early evening complimentary wine and tasty nibbles available was a very nice touch and much enjoyed.

Hello hello I have stayed in this place in the past And I went back because it is A convenient location, walkable to shopping restaurants work beach, train station with however, limited parking. On the positive side, the stuff that recognize me was very professional. They did not hesitate to give me an upgrade With a smile. The building itself Has a lot of culture and heritage and if you get the higher rooms, it is amazing. The street is a bit noisy, but highly recommended area.

The Hotel is just a short walk to Cannes centre. Also very near to the train station, ideal if flying into Nice. All staff at the hotel were extremely friendly and helpful. This is the cutest, quaint hotel. It’s very old, but well kept up. It has a cute 100 year old elevator, and the room is surprisingly large with a king sized bed. The staff was wonderful to work with and the service was excellent. I’d definitely stay here again.

What a fabulous hotel. The building is lovely, the staff is really attentive, the rooms we stayed in spectacular. Free happy hour every evening not only offers wine and snacks, but also a chance to meet other travelers from around the world. We splurged on the cupola rooms (140, 240, 340, 440) and it was totally worth it - don't miss them!!! Also, the elevator dates from 1920 and is terribly cute. Also the location is an easy few block walk to all the things. Highly recommended!

This hotel provided excellent customer service given by very helpful staff. The drinks and hors doeuvres that were laid on each evening were a lovely touch that we all appreciated.
We had 3 rooms all in one annexe that were well decorated with great facilities. The rotunda room was particularly special.
Everything about the hotel worked perfectly for us, including the location.

The Cavendish was excellent. The location is perfect: a 5-minute walk from the train station, easy to find, and within easy walking distance of the port, the Croisette, shopping and restaurants. I received a very warm welcome, was allowed to check in early, and was offered very helpful information. The room was lovely, with a comfortable bed and beautiful bathroom. The evening wine tasting was an extra treat. Thank you for being such gracious hosts!

Amazing staff- they were so friendly and welcoming. They assisted us with everything and tolerated our horrible French speaking skills with a smile (although the staff were all fluent in English).
The property itself is located in the perfect spot. It is only a few steps away from everything. We walked to all of the main attractions, food and shopping without any issues.
The room itself was charming. We stayed on the 4th floor with a balcony and absolutely adored it! The views were beautiful.
The hotel offers complimentary waters which was very nice and convenient. I loved the walk-in closet. It helped us keep our room nice and tidy and organized.
The wine tasting in the evening was great as well. I would definitely recommend this property.

We really loved our stay! Before arrival they sent us a survey to be sure to satisfy our needs. They welcome us with champagne and the staff was very friendly and helpful with us! Also they upgrade our room and it was huge with views! It is very well located, just a few steps from Train Station (SNFC) and from Le Croissette where you can find lots of shops and restaurants. Amazing service. Honestly I don’t think any hotel has been this over the top friendly and nice. Whatever you expect at the Shangri-La or any other 5 star, these guys will beat it.

The location is great, but about 200 metres outside of the \"main\" part of town. A minor issue which shouldn't undermine how lovely this hotel is.

This is a wonderful hotel-great location close to shops & restaurants on Rue d'Antibes, La Croisette and Rue Meynadier. Beautifully appointed rooms, luxe linens and classic French style. Very clean. The staff is incredibly warm and helpful. They went above and beyond to accommodate our requests, provide advice on local activities and even sent someone down the street to run an errand for us the morning of our departure. Some boutique hotels do no live up to their star level, but this one certainly does! Looking forward to a return trip.

Ask for room 140. It's beautiful. The open bar is worth using but closes at 8pm.
