Seemed like a standard French hotel room. Everything worked as it should (except the shower head would not stay up), but nothing fancy.
Elevator was small but worked.
Had issues with watching some sports channels during our stay, but found a way around it without talking to the staff.
Bakery on the corner was great and location could not have been better. Beds were comfortable.

The hotel was lovely and in an amazing location- so convenient for exploring Paris. The staff was so warm and welcoming and lovely. We loved our room- it was spacious and comfortable and the bathroom was nice too! Our only problem was that we were there for unseasonably warm weather (in the 60s in December) and the room was very warm (the ac was off for the winter) and it was very loud with the windows open (it’s very quiet with them closed). Other than that unlikely problem, it was a perfect stay! We would stay there again and take our chances with the temperature anyway!

The hotel was in the Spanish Quarter which is a very good location for restaurants and transportation. The room was extremely small. We did not have breakfast so we can’t speak on that. The staff were cordial but not overly friendly.

This was our second stay at the Albe. Whilst the double rooms can be a little small, we have also stayed in a superior room - you pay for what you get so the choice is yours. All rooms are lovely. What we love also is the location, the friendly staff, breakfast onsite, St Michel station, being at the centre of Christmas festivities, markets, restaurants, pubs and walkability to so much.

Perfect small well-run hotel on a side street near Notre Dame and the St. Michel metro / RER stop. We chose it for easy transportation by RER train to CDG airport and Versailles, but ended up loving it for its central Metro location and for its easy walking proximity to the Seine, Notre Dame, St. Germain, Latin Quarter, and le Marais. Although close to activity, it feels quiet. The very picturesque area around the hotel is not mobbed with tourists or surrounded by pretentious stores. Staff is very efficient, friendly, and helpful. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Everything we needed, and it felt like our home in Paris. We would definitely come back.

Lovely hotel in the Latin Quarter with great proximity to the Metro station shops and restaurants. Very walkable! It’s also right across the Seine from Notre Dame and St. Chappell. Loved the location, loved the price, loved the staff. We had a corner room with a balcony. You could see the seine from our room. It is very lively at night so if you don’t like hearing faintly city noise it may not be for you but I loved it. Very easy walk to everything. We took the RER from the Airport and bus to Gare de Lyon and both were super easy. If you walk a few blocks there are nicer restaurants in st Germaine area. We walked everywhere and best of all late at night you can walk to the river and see Notre Dame and the Eiffel Tower. We got up in the morning with no tickets and walked right into Notre Dame. Highly recommend this place and would stay again.

We could not have found a more convenient location in Paris. Very walkable to major attractions and steps away from a Metro stop. The staff was very helpful and the breakfast was much nicer than we expected. The rooms are quite small, but the water pressure and WiFi was excellent.

The location was excellent—just a short walk to Notre-Dame and close to a metro station, which made getting around Paris very easy. There were plenty of great food options in the area, from casual cafés to charming restaurants. We didn’t try the breakfast at the hotel, as we preferred to explore the nearby bakeries each morning. The staff was friendly and helpful throughout our stay, always ready to offer directions or recommendations. The room was comfortable and clean, providing a relaxing base after long days of sightseeing. Overall, a great stay in a perfect spot for exploring the city.

Decent hotel. Great beds we got a good sleep every night. It is well situated to see the main sights and is a short walk to a lot of places. It is ideal if you have not been to Paris before and you do not have a lot of time. It is steps from the metro stop, and a 2 min walk to Notre Dame. The only down side is it is located on a very touristy street and night bars that can get a little noisy at night. We never felt unsafe, it’s just busy. Overall good place. Probably wouldn’t stay again just to explore another area, but it is a decent hotel with a good location for exploring the main sights in Paris.

We enjoyed our stay at the Albe Hotel. The location could not be more central, with great access to the metro (including the RER to CDG airport), tons of restaurants and stores, and the ability to walk to a number of desirable neighbourhoods.

As for the hotel itself, it is basically what in the old days would be called a pension, It does not have a massive lobby and amenities as a business traveler might want, but is perfect for tourists. We arrived fairly late (9 pm) and the front desk was still staffed by a very pleasant gentleman.

I reserved a \"junior suite\" for me and my two teenage children. The \"junior suite\" was basically a standard triple -- one queen sized bed and one twin/single bed. The room was not huge but it was fine for the three of us, given that we were not planning on spending huge amounts of time in there. The bed itself was super comfortable and I had a great sleep. The bathroom was very nice, with a fabulous waterfall shower and decent bath amenities, although there was no hair conditioner. We were thrilled about the very strong air conditioning, given that it was very hot in Paris when we were there. The hotel also had complimentary newspapers -- a nice touch that seems less common than in the past. People with mobility issues should know that one must go up a few steps to access the elevator. Also, the elevator only fits two people at a time with suitcases, so we had to make two trips. Just something to be aware of.

In addition, very helpful staff, especially Sandrine. My grandson left his cellphone in the taxi on our way to the train station. Sandrine was so kind to contact this taxi driver, get the cellphone and sent it to me in USA. Great service!

The Albe Hôtel Saint-Michel is a perfect location for a wonderful boutique type hotel. It us located an easy 10 minute walk to Notre Dame Cathedral and located off busy traffic streets. There are several restaurants in the immediate area. The hotel's breakfast room has a very attentive and friendly staff. The assortment of hot and cold food and quality was great. It offers a nicely balanced selection of freshly prepared hot and cold foods - dried cereals, fresh fruit, scrambled eggs, lunchen meats/ cheeses muffins, breads, juices etc. A selection of hot tea was available as well as a self-serve coffee machine offering several choices of fresh coffee. My favorite was the decaff cappuccino. Regular was also available. You simply press the button of your choice, and within a few seconds you have a fresh hot cup of coffee.
Our room overlooked the street we walked to the cathedral and did have very active pedestrian activety during the day. However, the window in our room was totally effective in blocking out sound. We were out of the room most of the day sightseeing anyway. Our room was cleaned very nicely and efficiently every day. Our twin beds were very comfortable and the bed linens were very cozy. The bathroom was very nice and included electric towel warmers which also helped dry simple hand laundry. I would highly recommend this hotel. Wonderful, friendly staff also.

Location is perfect, the nearby station has a lift at exit 6 so it was very convenient to get around with luggage. Very close to several tourist attractions, so the area is always busy with good food options. The only issue with the location is that because it’s busy, at night it can get very noisy and it can be difficult to sleep. Soundproofing the rooms would have been helpful. I could definitely hear people from nearby rooms, upstairs and downstairs when they were walking around. Room was clean with a balcony, the pillows could be better as they were too soft for my liking. It would have been nice to have some disposable slippers in the room but I understand they are operating environmentally friendly. I enjoyed my stay at Albe Hotel and would definitely stay again for the location.

Unfortunately I think we had the worst room in the hotel, it looked nothing like the pictures on here. It was tired and it showed. It was also VERY noisy at night with the bars outside and partying people till 5am. The windows did not block any sound and the trickle vent was broken shut open, so it amplified the noise from outside. Would not recommend if you like sleep.

This was a lovely hotel nicely situated. It was a few minutes from the Seine and NotreDame so is very walkable for other spots. The Metro is a minute away. There are loads of eateries- including a fantastic bakery a stone’s throw away from the hotel. The room itself was basic- but clean bathroom, comfy bed and kettle and fridge. You can’t beat the location of this hotel. Right in the centre of everything and on the RER-B line from the airport. Excellent access to shopping, sightseeing and restaurants. Staff were very friendly. Rooms are compact but comfortable. Absolutely showing signs of extensive use and could use a refresh. But good water pressure, consistent hot water, comfy beds and an excellent location make it a great choice.

Lovely little hotel in great location for Latin area, St. Germain and taking off to Marias. Perfect if you are taking the RER from Gare du Nord or CDG. Room has plenty of room to walk around the bed(s), has a nice bathroom (plenty of hot water and great pressure), nice in room coffee/tea set up and the staff was very kind (has a male attendant in the evening so we felt very safe walking in late at night). I will stay again!

Able Hotel is in the business of providing good sleep but their Queen bed matress was in terrible condition which we cannot sleep on it. I ended up having to sleep on the floor and my wife was trying to put up with the terrible matress. Able Hôtel pretty much ruined our 1 night stay in Paris.

I had a wonderful trip to Paris. The location of the hotel was great as it is on the edge of the Latin Quarter and St. Michel. It is convenient to the metro and bus stations and RER. From the hotel the monuments like Notre Dame, St. Chapelle, and Concierge are walkable on one side of the Seine. The Pantheon, Shakespeare and Co. bookstore and St. Germain neighborhood is also close by.
The staff especially Veronica and Max were exceptional in giving information and directions. When I had a dental emergency, Veronica helped me make the appointment.

I would highly recommend this hotel not only for the location, but for a good, sumptuous breakfast
and excellent service.

When you're doing a quick city break and out all day seeing as much as possible, all you want in a 3* hotel is somewhere comfortable, clean, and well located.
Alba ticked all those boxes very easily.
We were very impressed with the location right next to the subway, with some excellent eating locations within 30 second walk, and Notre Dam around the corner.

The room was very small but serviceable. The hallways were VERY narrow - just an FYI for people travelling with a lot of luggage or larger people. The staff were friendly, the breakfast was great (so nice to eat somewhere where they were not piping in music - you could just peacefully eat your delicious food), and the room was serviceable. Location was great. I would stay there again.

Stayed at the Albe Hotel several times and really like the convenience and proximity to so many Paris activities, and the general active vibe of the area
