The hotel is pretty bare-bones. Only hand soap provided in the bathroom, the \"triple\" room is made a triple by a cot (not what is shown in the pictures) and check-in/reception is a very narrow hallway. From my perspective, not a good value and didn't feel my expectations were set correctly - if I had been looking for a 2*, basic, cheap hotel for the night it would have been fine. Bed was comfortable and linens were clean at least. Not bad, but I expected more.

This hotel is located next to a lively pub. Great price, room was small. DO NOT park at the parkade across from the hotel. Our car was towed because of the market. We had to go to the police to get it released and pay $$ across the other side of the bay to get it back.

Cannes, during the film festival can definitely be hot or miss. Staying here was a definite hit. The hotel is perfectly located and unlike many, it doesn't pretend to be something it is not. I got everything I expected and more. It is If there is one thing that will always make a difference in hospitality, it is the treatment you receive as a guest. In the case of Des Congrès et Festivals, Didier (the owner) is on site and that makes the difference. The pride and passion he puts forward reflects in the management of the hotel, the cleanliness, the upkeep and the all around warmth you feel when staying there. From the extra details at breakfast to the charming offer of umbrellas when it's raining, Didier makes sure you feel at home. I applaud his vision, appreciate his warmth and will definitely be staying at Des Congrès et Festivals again.

They will try their best to make your stay at their hotel a worthy event by being close to their guest and sactify their required needs during the stays. The location is unbeatable - everything is a few minutes walking distance and there's a small market just across the street. Such a wonderful experience. We got there and there was a mini gathering in the lobby where they immediately offered a glass of wine and some snacks. Only complaint is that the walls are so thin you can hear everything from other rooms.

I picked this hotel for a quick stay because it was one of the very cheapest. Happily, the service was very good. The reception verified that I was in town for business and moved me to a more quiet room (choice between bigger room at the front, but over a pub in the street, or smaller room at the back). The room was small but essentially correct. The hotel location is excellent for activities, shopping and transport (but not as close to the beach as other hotels). Recommended

After looking around, i found that this was one of the lowest priced hotels in cannes, but that doesnt translate into lack of quality. as soon as I walked in, i was asked if i needed any assistance, they told me about places to go eat, and help me arrange my travel plans afterwards. The location was also great, right in the middle of cannes, beaches about a ten min walk, i was in the middle of the shopping district, and there was a bar next door which provided a great place to meet new people, and get information on where to go later.

Great place to stay for a shorter visit. Perfect location with the pedestrian streets around with restaurants, cafes and shops. The beach is just 5 min away. The room was quite small, as well as the bathroom. But clean and newly renovated. AC in the room. Very friendly and serviceminded staff. I could borrow a beachtowel for free the next day to go to the beach for a morning swim. Didn't have breakfast at the hotel, but went next door to the Barista Café which was excellent.

Propre mais..... super bruyant (fête aux étages !)
Beaucoup de bruit dans les étages (voix, rires, cris...). Ce n'est qu'après un appel à l'accueil après 22h00 que les bruits on cessé. Un peu lourd !!!! De plus pas de chauffage dans la chambre, à 7°degrés dehors, c'est un peu limite. Je ne suis pas sûre d'y retourner

Really helpful, friendly and polite service. Room was a Briton the smaller side but clean and nice. Had everything you needed. Enough pillows and they were comfortable. Great location, you can walk practically everywhere.
